Subject: Chance Meeting Chapter 7

Hey everyone, this is my first story, so be nice, but give me advice for
future chapters.  The more e-mails I get the quicker the chapters will come
out.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I had writing it.

Chapter 7

" Scott, I have been meaning to talk to you about that."  Justin said with
waiver in his voice.

" Scott, me and Brit have been friends since we were young, which I'm sure
you know.  And ya we were trying to see if we could work out, but then we
decided to play it for publicity.  We are only going out in the public
eye. I want to change that now that we are going to try this out.  She is
my best friend; I am planning on telling her about us.  Are you ok with
that?"  Justin asked a little out of breath.

" Justin, I trust you, even if you didn't want to tell Brit about us, or if
you wanted to keep you and her in the public eye, I'm fine with it.  All
that matters is that we are truthful to one another.  That's all I ask."

" Are you sure, I am still gonna announce that we are not seeing each other
any more, but that might take a while to go through all the step so that it
doesn't hurt both of our careers."

" Yes Justin I'm fine with it."

" I love you so much, do you know that?"

" I know Justin, but I bet I love you more."

" So Justin, what's next?"

" Well, we are goin back in two days to start rehearsals for the summer
tour, I am gonna talk to Johnny our manager about you being our fitness
trainer tomorrow, and I figure when you come home we could do a little of
this dating stuff.  How bout you, what does your schedule endure?"

" Well tomorrow I'm free, but after that I got some shots to do for
Abercrombie, and then I will be flying home, back to Orlando, to be with my
new handsome, gorgeous, generous, loving boyfriend.

" And who would that be again?"

" You silly!"  I reached over and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

" Then I planned on going back home to visit my parents and to see my best
friend.

" O and what's his name?"

" He is actually a she, her name id Lynn, we have been best friends since I
was in the sixth grade.  I plan on telling her about me, but I won't say
who I am seeing, she is a huge fan."

" Well I have an idea, why don't you take the silver Beemer home with ya to
surprise her and to make it look like to your parents that your making a
decent buck and bring Lynn down so I can meet her and she could come to our
opening concert.  Our first one of the year is usually a big family and
friends event, I think it would be cool to meet your friends."

" Well what you gonna drive?"

" Are you forgetting, my car is the red Beemer in the garage, the silver
one is my back up."

" Ok, sounds cool and I will keep it a surprise on who I am bringing her
here to meet."

" Cool, I love surprises."

" Well why don't I surprise you right now."

With that I reached down and grabbed Justin by the back of the head and
laid my lips upon his.  We sat there for a few moments together, just
staring at on another.  Justin broke the silence.

" Scott?"

"Ya"

" Will you stay here tonight?"

" Only if you want me to."

"Yes, I would like that."

And with that we put on some shorts and both slid under the covers.  We
drifted asleep with our arms entwined around one another.

The next morning I awoke fairly late.  I looked up and saw Justin looking
down at me.

"What are you staring at me for?"  I asked.

" I was just debating when you look better.  On the runway, or right here,
right now."

" And have you come up with an answer?"  I commented back with a smile on
my face.

" No, not yet!"

We both broke into laughter and then the door to Justin's room burst open.

"Justin Timberlake, what the hell is going on in here!"  A blond girl came
running through the door screaming.

" Britt, get out!" Justin yelled back, but it was too late.  The blond
bombshell, known as Brittany Spears, was standing in awe looking oddly at
me and Justin lying in bed together.  Before I knew it I grabbed my cloths
and ran out of the room and out of the hotel.  I grabbed a cab and told him
to drive.

" Justin who was that?  I mean he was in bed with you."  Britt stammered.

Just then Chris and Lance came running into the room.

" Britt we told you that he was still sleeping!"  Chris yelled out.

" Hold on, hold on!  Lance go find Scott and tell him to come back, Chris
can you leave me and Britt alone for a minute?"  Justin yelled out, clearly
annoyed.

" Ya, I'll go see if I can find him."  Lance ran off in search of me.

" Britt sit down."  Justin calmed her.

" Britt there is something that I gotta tell you.  You are one of my best
friends in the whole world, ever since we were kids, and I tell you
everything, even some things that the guys don't even know.  And now is one
of those times that I need you most.  Britt over the past month I have
found myself, I feel complete now.  Ya see Britt I met someone."

" O, Justin that's great."  Britt chimed in.

" Britt, I am gay, and the guy that was in bed with me is Scott, he is the
one that I have fallen for head over heals."

" O, Justin I'm so happy for you, no matter what I stand behind you."

" I am so sorry for the intrusion but I just wanted to see you since we
haven't had much time to talk lately."  Britt continued.

" It's ok, I was gonna call you tonight and tell you over dinner or
something, but now was a better time then ever, now we gotta find Scott so
you can meet him, he's a big fan of yours."  Justin the jumped out of bed
and over to some cloths on the floor to find something suitable to look for
me in.

" Justin he is no where to be found, the bell hop said he saw him get into
a cab, he didn't' know where the went though."

" It's ok, I slipped a cell phone into his bag last night as another
surprise gift, I'll just call him on it."  Justin said with confidence.

" Ring. Ring, ring!"

'What the hell?' I thought to myself as this ringing came from my pocket.
I reached in and grabbed a cell phone out of my pocket and looked at the
LCD screen at the number.  Above the number was the name "your sweetie".  I
laughed and hit the answer button.

" Hello?"  I said.

" Where you at sweet heart?"  Justin's voice came over the phone.

" I am right now getting out of the taxi to my apartment."

" O, well I was wondering why you ran out of here so fast, I got worried."

" I got nervous when that girl came in the room, and I guess I just
panicked, I'm sorry."

" That was Britt, well anyways what do you have planned for today?"

"Nothing much, I just have a few errands to run."

" OK, well I was wondering if you would want to go out to dinner tonight,
there is someone that I would like you to meet."

" That sounds good to me, what time does your plane leave tomorrow?"

" At 9 in the morning, why?"

" Just wondering how long we could sleep in tomorrow morning."

" OOOOO I love the way you think, well how bout you be here by 5?"

"Sounds good, see ya then, I love you."

" Love you too."

The rest of the day flew by, with little interruptions.  I went downtown
and met with a rep from Calvin Klein, and then I went shopping, I figured
if I was goin in public with Justin and a close friend I will need to be
looking my best, plus I wanted to pick something up for Justin.

I went to some jewelry stores but nothing caught my eye, and then I walked
into one and there it was the perfect gift.  I maxed out my credit card but
it was worth it.  I arrived at home around three and began to get ready,
but I figured I should call Justin and make sure on where we were goin and
how to dress.

----------------------Back at Justin's place-------------------------------

" Yo did you find him" Lance came into the room along with Chris.

" Ya, everything's cool, we are meeting for dinner tonight, why don't you
guys come with us, it would be cool to be out on the streets tonight of New
York."

" Sounds cool to us, I'll tell JC and Joey" Chris yelled as they exited the
room.

" Justin, what are we gonna do about the whole us thing?"  Britt asked.

" Well I think that we should tell the press that we are no longer
together, just close friends, and that we feel that our friendship is
stronger then ever and that the way that it is gonna remain."

" But when they ask what happened, what are we gonna say?"

" We can tell them that we didn't want to ruin our long standing friendship
that we had and we feel that this way is the best way."

" That sounds great, so you gotta tell me the whole story on how you met
and everything."

" How bout over some lunch, I'm starved."  Justin smiled at Brittany.

Justin and Brittany went to lunch at this little restaurant down town.
There, Justin told Brittany how he met Scott, and how they decide to try
this.  He described what I did for a living, and he even told her about the
fire and how he believed that he started it.  Just then Justin's cell phone
rang.

" Hello, I wasn't expecting you to call, what's up?"

" Yo, hey what's goin on, I was wondering where are we going to eat tonight
so I know what to wear?"

" O, well dress nice and sexy, for me of course, not for the restaurant.
HEHE"

" No, come on I'm serious."

" Well so am I, dress nice, and throw in some sexiness."

" Ok, so where are you at?"

" I just got done with lunch with Brittany."

" Lunch?  Justin it's three in the afternoon, we are goin out in two hours
for dinner."

" Well me and Brit finished a while ago, we have been here catching up."

" O, I see, I can't wait to meet here, I am really nervous."

" You shouldn't be, she's cool."

" Ok well I will see you at 5."

" Ok, love ya, bye."

The next two hours flew by.  I got a shower and began to get dressed when
there was a knock on the door.

" Hello"

"O, hey Tim what's up, come in."

" Hey Scott, I was in town so I figured I would stop over, I got a great
opportunity for ya."

"O, ya what would that be?"

" Well I got a call from Calvin Klein and they were so impressed with your
look that they want to sign you and have you walk in their show out in
Hollywood in three weeks, what do ya say?"

" Wow that's great, I'm speechless, I will have to talk to my new employer
though, to see if I could get that week off."

" Your new employer?"

" Ya I got a job with the group N sync, as there personal fitness trainer,
cool eh?"

" Ya that's great, but you should know that this is a big deal, if you do
this there will probably offer you a good amount of money to pose in there
New York billboards."

" WOW, well let me talk to them and see what I can do, I will let you know
in two days, is that ok?"

" Ya that's great, hey would you want to go out for some grub?"

" Sorry Tim, I got a date tonight, I am meeting Miss Brittany Spears."

" WOW, somebody got an in."

" Ya, I know, but thanks anyways, I'll call you in two days."

" Cool have fun and talk to ya soon."

At five o' clock I was just entering Justin's hotel.  I went up the
elevator and knocked on his door, but there was no answer.  I went to
Lance's door and there was still no answer.  After ten minutes I decide
that I was stood up and started to head for the elevator. As the elevator
opened I was greeted with a beautiful blond known as Brittany Spears.

" AHHHHHHH, O hi."  I stammered out.

" Hi, you must be Scott, it is an honor to meet you, Justin has told me so
much, unfortunately he is running late so he wants us to go ahead without
him, he said he will meet us at the restaurant."

" Cool, ok shall we."

" We shall, and may I must say that Justin wasn't joking that you were
unbelievable looking, he's lucky to have found someone so cute."

" HEHE thanks."

We went down the elevator and chatted a little and got to know one
another. At the lobby we were escorted out of the hotel to an awaiting
limo.  'Wow this must be pretty special' I thought with the limo and all.
In the limo we again had some Smalltalk, but once at the restaurant it was
pandemonium.  There were people everywhere, and we got out of the car, all
Britt said was to follow her lead.  We walked down a black carpet into the
restaurant while pictures flashed and people yelled her name, and she would
turn to them and give them a pose.  At one point she turned, grabbed me and
we took a picture together.

" That will get them talking!"  She shouted into my ear. As we entered and
were escorted to our table, there at the table sat N sync, along with a
wide grin on one unparticular shaved blond haired boy.

" What's up, don't you look dashing tonight", he whispered into my ear.  I
sat next to him while Brittany sat on the other side.

" Hey what's up guys, how was it trying to get in after we told everyone
that Britt would be coming?" Joey laughed.

" O, real funny Joseph!  But it was all good, me and Scott made a grand
entrance."

" That's good, so how do ya like all the cameras going off when you not
being told what to do Scott?"  Lance yelled out over the fans still
screaming outside.

" O Lance, Scott here could look unbelievable and gorgeous just laying in a
bed, he could be covered in mud from head to toe and still make the front
cover of GQ!"  Britt spat out before I had a chance to answer.

Justin leaned over and whispered again in my ear.  " She could say that
again."

I just smiled at his one-liners.

I looked over at Justin and said, " So what is the big surprise you told me
about?"

" You will see after dinner."

The rest of the night went pretty much the same, the guys cracking jokes on
Brittany while Justin just started starry eyed at me.  Dinner was quick and
the drinks were strong, and by the end of the night it was getting pretty
nutty.  We all rose to get up and head out to the limo, I must say Britt
was an awesome girl and I had a blast hanging out with her.

As we exited the restaurant Justin and Britt stopped for a moment and let
some of the reporters that now gathered outside have some pics, but to my
surprise, Justin hushed them all down so he could speak.

" Can I have you attention please, me and Britt would like you all to know
something."  He yelled out.  The guys and me just turned around and watched
in curiosity.

" I have an announcement!  Me and Britt are not dating anymore, we have
decided that our friendship is more important and we would like to remain
best friends."

" That's right, we are not ready for a serious relationship and I agreed
with Justin's idea"

The crowd was shocked and questions just came tumbling out of their
mouths. On the other hand, me and the other guys were speechless.  And just
as easily as they made their announcement they strolled out of the flashes
towards us into the limo.  Once in the limo Justin leaned over and gave me
a peck on the cheek and whispered, " Surprise!"

" So you guys have ended the big relationship, ehh?"  Josh broke the
silence.

" Ya, well I am sick of being thought of as in a relationship when I'm not,
I feel it would be a lot easier for us to progress in relationships if we
decided to call the entire show quits."  Justin answered while giving me a
sly grin.

" Ya, I agree with him, plus now I can be seen in public with all the cute
guys that I hang with."  Britt chimed in.  Wed drove through the night
until we were back at the hotel, as we were getting out I told Justin that
I would see him tomorrow.

" Why don't you come up, I thought we could talk a little, like the other
night?"

" You sure you want me to?"

" Yes!"  " Come on."  Justin pleaded.

" Ok"

" Now none of that monkey business" Chris yelled out from in front of us.

We went upstairs and changed into some PJ's and lie on the couch and fell
asleep while we talked about how great it was to just be there, together.

The next morning Justin woke first and then woke me.

"Hey lazy bones come on its time to get up, I want you to see me off before
my flight."  Justin shouted.

" Ok, Ok, I guess I could be a nice guy today, when we leaving for the air
port?"

" An hour."

"AN HOUR!"  I yelled as I jumped out of the bed.

" Ya, so get a move on."

" Ok."

I went into the show and got changed into something Justin left me out.
For the next half hour we just laid on the couch with his head on my
shoulder.

" Yo you two love birds ready?"  Chris yelled in.

" Ya we are commin'."  Justin yelled back.

The ride to the airport was pretty uneventful, and when we were finally
there I couldn't bear to see Justin leave.

" Hey looks like they are escorting us right to the plane, sorry no time
for long goodbye kisses."  Joey teased.

" HE HE!"  Justin smirked at him.

" Well I guess this is goodbye for now, Scott."

" Ya, well I will see ya in two days, and then I figure I will stay home
for a day with you and then head up to see Lynn and the rents, and then I
will come back for the family show that you guys are putting on at home,
sounds cool?"

" Ya, I can't wait for to see you again, I miss you already."

" I know but we gotta do what we gotta do, see ya in two days babe."

" See ya, I love you."

" I love you to."  I whispered back.

After that we kissed and he and the guys were gone.  The next two days flew
by, I kept myself busy and worked out a lot.  The next thing I knew I was
on a plane headed home.  TO be with Justin.  At the airport there was a
tall mad with a sign that said 'Mr. Burns', I walked over to him and he
ended up being N sync's personal driver.  He drove me to Justins house and
helped me with all the bags.  After that he was gone.  There was a short
note on the table when I looked in the kitchen. ' Scott sorry I couldn't be
here for your arrival but I got a surprise for tonite, I will be home soon,
love J.' He always has suprises, I thought to myself.  Which reminded me of
my little surprise for me that I had bought in New York.  But I decided not
to give it to him until the time was right.

After getting some lunch I decided to give Justin a present of my own.  I
went into the den, and laid covers and pillows all over the floor.  I then
went to the florist and picked up some red roses, and laid the petals all
over the blankets.  I went to the liquor store and picked up some wine, I
also went to the store and got about 4 dozen candles, and placed then
throughout the room.  Finally around five at night I was finished.

As I sat on the couch waiting for Justin I read one of those teen mags and
read about the group for a while, trying to think of some corny jokes I
could use on them.  I then herd the door open.

" Scott I'm home!"  I herd Justin cry from the door.

 I ran out of the living room and was not just greeted by Justin but his
mom and brother as well.

" OOOOO, hey Just, I didn't know you were bringing company home."

" I know it was a surprise."

" O, and am I ever surprised.  Hi Mrs. Timberlake, I mean Lynn, and this
must be Jonathan?"

" Ya this is my little bro, I figured we could all have dinner here
tonight."

" Hey ya know what, why don't I take you all out to dinner, my treat?"

" That would be fine, but are you sure, John here is real hungry."

" O I'm sure Lynn, Ready to go?"

" Sure." Justin said with a questioning look on his face.

" O Justin can I show you something real quick, before we go?"

" Ya, mom I'll be right back."

" Ok we will go wait in the car."

" What's up?  Why did you offer to take the family out?"

" Well I had a little suprise of my own set up in the den and I didn't want
your mom to find it."

" OOOO, a surprise for me, I cant wait!"  " How was your trip?"

" Ok, those two days flew by."

" Come here I missed you so much."

Just then Justin grabbed me and took me up in his arms, we kissed for a few
seconds, and let me just say, that the boy could kiss.  We then parted and
headed out for dinner.  Dinner was pretty average.  I got to know Lynn and
his awesome little bro better.  It was cool hearing all the stories of
Justin when he was a baby, even if he was embarrassed.  The night rolled on
and finally it was time to head home.  We dropped off Lynn and Jon, and
headed home ourselves.  We walked in the door and we grabbed one another
and kissed for a long time, in fact my legs almost went out because of the
way Justin's lips made me feel.

" Let's hit the sack, what do ya say?"  Justin asked putting on his puppy
dogface.

" Ok, just let me go wash up."  I answered.

I got up to the bedroom and Justin was already out for the count, it must
have been a rough day at the office.  If you could call the work he does
there rough.  I stripped down to my boxers and climbed in bed.

The next morning I was surprised to see that Justin was already up.
Unusual.  Usually when he's home he sleeps in.  I jumped in the shower and
then headed down stairs.

" What the hell got into you waking up so early?"  I asked.

" Hey love what's up, I figured I would make us breakfast and then you
could give me a ride over to the studio when your heading home."

" Cool, so what's for breakfast?"

" Cereal!  What did you think, that I was gonna cook?"

" HAHA, ya right, you, cook."

Breakfast was fun.  Justin kept playing footsies like we were back in
elementary school.  After breakfast we loaded the car, and we were off.  I
must say that I was quit depressed, and I know Justin was as well.

" Well I guess this is it for a while?"  Justin said as he pouted.

" Justin, I will only be gone for three or four days.  I'll be home soon."

" I like when you say that."

" Say what?"

" You are coming home, it's nice that you think of my place as yours."

" Justin I didn't mean that."

" No, I'm serious.  Scott I love you, and I know you love me and that you
would do nothing to hurt me, so I know your not no 'gold digger', out for
my money."

" I love you too, and I will see you in a few days.  I'll call, I promise!"

" You better, because we are having a guys night when you come back, we
will send Lynn out with the guys why we have some quiet time to ourselves."

" Sounds good to me."  I answered as I drove away.

I must say I was pretty down when I left Justin, but as I was driving I
looked down and saw a tape sitting on the passenger seat.  'That's weird' I
thought.  I reached down and picked it, and to my surprise my name was
written on the top.  So I popped it in.

" Dear Scott, I knew that you were pretty upset when I wasn't at the house
when you came home yesterday, so I am trying to make up for it now.  I made
this tape by myself, just for you, hope you like and I will see you soon.
Love J."

I already had tears in my eyes as I heard Justin's voice come over the
speakers, with a silent music in the background and his voice demanding
over it.  I sat there and tears fell down my face for the next hour.  He
started with 'this I promise you' my favorite, and from there on out he
sang many of N sync's songs as well as some stuff from other artist, all
solo, with soft music in the background.

I arrived at my house a little after 5 in the evening and was greeted by my
mom, dad, and little bro.

" Hey mom, dad, bro!"  I yelled as I entered the house.  My mom gave me a
big hug and a kiss while my dad shook my hand.  They were glad to see,
since I wasn't home in like a year.

We ate dinner and then me and the parents sat down to have a chat after
dinner.

" Mom, dad, I know that we haven't seen eye to eye on allot of subjects."

" I could have said that, but after seeing the car your driving, this
modeling business must be pulling in the bucks, ya better keep on it while
you still have those there looks."  My father blurted out.

" Thanks dad.  But what I want to tell you is that I found a new part time
job."

" O really, what would that be?"  My mom asked surprised.

" Well I was offered a position to be a personal fitness trainer, for
celebrities.  I told them yes and they gave me an offer and the people of
who I would be working for."

" Ya, well how much?"  My dad asked.

" And for who?"  My mom stuttered in a little surprised.

" Well they offered me 22 dollars and hour plus room and board.  And I will
be working for N sync while they are on their tour."

" Not bad, not bad, at least you don't need looks for a job like that."  My
father chimed in.

" OO that's wonderful, how is the modeling going to take a back seat to
this though?"  My mom asked.

" Well I am doing one last shoot in a week and then I will join the tour,
after that if anything is offered and I can swing it, I will."

" Sounds good to me honey."  My mom said.

" Ya I guess it isn't as bad as I thought it were going to be."  My dad
asked.

" So honey, you seeing any lovely girls or you still playing it single."

" O mom, on that note I think I will be heading out to see Lynn, talk to ya
guys later. |"

" Bye"

I jumped in the car and headed to Lynn's house, which was just over two
blocks.  I got out of the car and by the time I turned the knob on her
screen door she was Jumping and screaming that she can't believe I was
there.

" O my god the handsome and ever charming Scott Burns has come to Wisk me
away somewhere beautiful, before I start my summer internship."

" Ya got that right babe."

" O it's great to see you, OO nice car, come on in."

We sat down and discussed everything that I have been doing; I left out the
whole N sync and gay story, but everything else.  I told her about my
apartment burning and everything and she was very sympathetic.

" Well, ok, the reason I came here tonight was to ask you a question.  Do
you remember what I told you I was going to buy you for your 21st
birthday?"

" O ya, like you came here to give me N sync concert tickets.  As if!"

" Here ya go, they are for this coming weekend, it's a family and friends
concert, nothing to big, but the show is going to be like that seen in
stadiums in the coming months."

" O MY GOD!!!  How did you get these?  I mean, wow!"

" Well it wasn't easy but I managed.  We are going to leave in two days.  I
figure you can stay with me and my friend for a few days before I have to
go out to California for a photo shoot."

" O, Scott I don't know how to repay you?"

" You don't have too, plus there is some more surprises on the way, I
figure you were pretty pissed that I actually missed your 21st B day so I
have a few more surprises waiting.


Well that's the next installment, not any sex yet, but good things come to
those who wait.  I am really into writing right now so you can expect to
see the next chapter sooner.  I am back at school now and can't wait to get
some responses.
