***Author's Note, Please Read! Okay this is important and has to do with
the story. I know that if you actually looked at dates and chronological
order and stuff this could never have happened realistically. That's
alright. It's a story. It isn't meant o be taken as real. So if you don't
mind that this never really could have happened, continue. Also, I am
trying out a new style of writing on this one. First you get the story from
one person's side then from the other. Let me know if you like it or if it
is too confusing.~Mike D.***

Coming Back Into Your Heart
Chapter 1

Stalker leaned back in his chair, taking a drag off of his cigarette
and looked at his superior officer, more commonly known as The
Exterminator, "So what your saying," he said in a totally calm voice that
in now showed the inner-turmoil within him, "Is that the enemy is trying to
bring Wolf back into the game after all this time? I don't get it...what's
the point?"

The Exterminator looked at the handsome young man lounging in the
chair before him, he had helped to train Stalker when he had first joined
the Agency, he knew him better than almost anyone. He could see the
unhappiness hidden in those violet eyes. Stalker was the image of what a
movie star should look like, 6' 0", 180lbs of muscle, brown hair and dark
olive skin that never sunburned. But those eyes set him apart. His eyes
were the deepest shade of violet that The Exterminator had ever seen. He
was also the deadliest man in the Agency.

"The point, Stalker, is to hurt you. People in the game don't
forget. They remember that you and Wolf were partners when you first
started and before he left. They also remember all the times you both did
really stupid things in order to save the other's ass. They think that he
has probably lost his edge, he's been out of the game for years. And they
know if they kill him, then essentially.....they kill you."

Stalker looked down at his hands and took another long drag off of the
cigarette. "So you are assigning me to him? You want me to see Wolf again
after all these years? He's a member of a VERY popular boy-band now. He
will not want to see me, Sir."

The Exterminator held up a hand to stop Stalker's flow of words. "I know
that Stalker, but neither you nor I have a choice. I need you at peak
performance and if they manage to kill Wolf, you won't be. So yes you are
assigned to him. Keep him alive and safe. And don't think with your
heart. That's what used to get you in trouble."

Stalker slid out of the chair smoothly and made his way to the door,
"I understand. I will keep him safe." he said as he left the office.

The Exterminator was pleased, he knew Stalker was perfect for this job,
they needed to convince Wolf to come back into the game and Stalker was
just the one to do it. The threat against Wolf was real enough, but the
real mission was to get Wolf to come back. He had been their best until he
had been invited to join a boy-band group. Then Wolf had left to become
"normal". It had broken both Wolf's and Stalker's hearts that Stalker
wouldn't go with him, but Stalker had still had fairy dust in his eyes
about this way of life at that time. The fairy dust was gone now, and
Stalker was harder, more vicious and a perfect member of the game.

Stalker walked smoothly into the hotel in New York that he had been
told the Backstreet Boys were staying in, without arousing the interest of
the bored doormen. They probably took him to be a guest with his grey
Armani suit and black silk tie. What they couldn't know was that the suit
had been tailored so that no one could tell that he was wearing a gun next
to his left shoulder. The large briefcase that he held contained a laptop
and a small arsenal. He had left his suitcase in a locker at the airport
that he always had something in, no matter what country or city he was
actually in at the moment. He had stuffed the extra cash and passports that
he had in there into his briefcase as well. He knew which room Wolf was in,
but he wasn't sure if there would be security or not so he had brought his
Federal Bureau of Investigations ID with him. It was a real ID but the
actual Bureau had no records of the name on the badge.

Once in the elevator Stalker leaned against the back wall trying to
get his racing heart to slow down. He could not believe that he was going
to see Wolf again after so many years. God he had missed him. He was sure
that Wolf, had probably found himself someone else after all these years
and the thought filled Stalker with anger and jealousy. He managed to calm
down a little before the elevator dinged and when they opened Stalker slid
out his eyes taking in the completely empty hallway. He heard voices coming
from one of the rooms though, he focused on the voices and tried to sort
them out. There were five people in the room....and Wolf was one of them.

He wasn't sure what he was going to say or do once in the room, but he had
to talk to Wolf. He walked to the door and tried the
knob. Unlocked. Good. He smoothly opened the door and saw five guys
talking, eating, and two wrestling around on the floor. His eyes went next
to Wolf and Stalker's breath hissed in. He looked better than he had all
those years ago.

Stalker moved, bringing attention to himself. The blond-haired one
stood up and said, "Where the fuck did you come from?"

That of course got everyone's attention, including Wolf's who had been
laughing at the two wrestling on the floor.

Stalker watched as Wolf stood up slowly staring at him. He didn't move
as Wolf walked towards him, but tensed slightly when Wolf was about a foot
away.

"Stalker....what are you doing here?" Wolf asked softly, not moving any
closer.

Stalker smiled and said softly, "They sent me." He looked at the rest of
the guys in the room who were watching interestedly, "To protect you."
Wolf's mouth dropped open, "And why am I in need of protecting.?" he
asked.

Stalker's head dropped he stared at his shoes for a moment then said, "It's
because of me, Wolf. They remember about," he glanced at the guys
again. "When we were friends and they are going to make a move to hurt you
to get to me."

Wolf reached out and gently lifted Stalker's chin so that Stalker was
looking him in the eye. "And would it get to you, Stalker?"

Stalker closed his eyes for a moment then opened them and nodded, "Yes. If
they hurt you...I think I would kill myself."

Wolf calmly continued to look at Stalker, "Even after all this time?"
he asked.

Stalker nodded miserably, "Yes, it hasn't faded at all. Although at times,
I wish it would."

Wolf smiled at Stalker then, like the sun coming out from behind the
clouds, leaned in and gently kissed Stalker on the lips. They moved closer
together and suddenly they were wrapped in each other's arms almost as if a
day had not passed and they were still together and deeply in love.

A slight coughing sound invaded into their private little world then
someone said, "Hey..uh, Kevin? Would you mind telling us who this is and
what's going on before you two start making out?"

* * * * *

Kevin watched as AJ and Howie wrestled around on the floor. Howie still
hadn't learned not to tease AJ before 8 in the morning. He grinned and
laughed as AJ managed to get the upper hand and started to tickle Howie.

Suddenly he heard Nick say, "Where the fuck did you come from?" Kevin
turned towards the door wondering who it was. His heart stopped beating for
a moment when he saw the beautiful young man standing in the doorway, then
began beating again much faster. Kevin slowly stood and started walking
towards him.

The young man didn't move at all but when Kevin was about a foot away he
saw him tense so he stopped and asked softly, "Stalker...what are you doing
here?"

Stalker smiled slightly at Kevin, "They sent me," Kevin watched as Stalker
looked at the others, "To protect you."

Kevin felt his mouth dropping open and could do nothing to stop it, he had
been out of the game for years, there was no reason at all that he should
need protecting. "And why am I in need of protecting?" he asked gently
hoping that he knew the answer. He had missed Stalker so much. He had been,
from the day they met, the joy in Kevin's life. He had almost gone after
him so many times, but then remembered that they had both made their
choices and now had to live with them.

Kevin watched as Stalker's head dropped and he stared at his shoes as
though he had never seen them before.

Without lifting his head Stalker said, "It's because of me, Wolf. They
remember about," Kevin watched as Stalker again glanced at the guys, "When
we were friends and they are going to make a move to hurt you to get to
me."

Kevin reached out and gently reached out and used his hand to lift
Stalker's face so that he could look him in the eye, he needed to see
Stalker's eyes when he asked this question, "And would it get to you,
Stalker?"

Kevin's eyes never left Stalker's as he closed his eyes for a minute,
opened them, then nodded, "Yes. If they hurt you....I think I would kill
myself."

Kevin felt his heart surge but he stayed calm, "Even after all this time?"
he asked.

Stalker nodded, he looked miserable, "Yes, it hasn't faded at all. Although
at times, I wish it would."

Kevin couldn't help himself then, he smiled at Stalker, his joy at
knowing that Stalker still felt about him the way that Kevin felt about him
unable to be contained. He slowly leaned in and kissed Stalker's soft
lips. He didn't know what happened but the next thing he knew they were
wrapped around each other, kissing passionately. Kevin felt the gun
pressing into him but simply held Stalker tighter. He never wanted to let
go of Stalker, he had missed him so badly.

Suddenly a slight coughing sound invaded into their private little
world then Brian said, "Hey...uh, Kevin? Would you mind telling us who this
is and what's going on before you two start making out?"
