I want to thank Kenitra for being a good friend, writer, and editor! I also
want to thank everyone who has sent me comments on the last couple of

chapter. I really do like your comments. I would also like to know how you
guys want me to take this story.

Now here is....

Hearts Combining (Chapter 8)

(Previously)

"Jackie......I'm going to be here through thick and thin......better or
worst......until Death will we all four part!" I had just spoken everything
that was in my heart! It was at that point that I realized that I would
jump at the chance if they asked me to marry them!

"Chris I know you will.....that is why I'm welcoming you to my family!"

*****************************

"Miss Green?" The young girl nodded her head. "I'm doctor Michaels! I have
the test results back. They sent me to you for support."

"Is it what those other doctors thought?"

"I'm sorry........" Dr. Michaels trailed off.

"Oh my god......Jen honey......I don't know what I can do!" Mary cried out.

"When......(sniff)......When do you expect me to die?" Jen said with tears
flowing. She had figured that is was going to happen. Giving birth to four
babies at her age, that was extremely dangerous.

"I'm sorry....but in my personal opinion......about a month after going
into labor! Is there anything that I can do for you?" Dr. Michaels asked.

"Actually yes......Does it have to be the actual father of the babies on
the birth certificates? Their father is dead, but I know someone else that
I want to raise my children without having to go to court!" Jen asked

"No the biological father's name is not need.....Just the father that you
want your children to be named after." Dr. Michaels informed.

"Thanks that is all I need." Jen said. She watched the doctor walk out of
the room, then turned to her mother. "Call Jack.....Find out if there are
any legal matters that I need to take care of. I also want to re-route my
inheritance."

"Who are you going to make the father of the kids? And who are you
re-routing the inheritance to?" Mary asked.

"Both are going to Chris!" Jen stated.

**********************************

(Now on with the story!)

"Okay guys lets get down here before the food gets cold!" Jackie yelled
upstairs. There was a sudden unmistakable sound of feet running around
upstairs.

"I'm glad they listen to you! It took me four tries the other night to get
them moving." I complained.

"It took me a while to train them to do it.....Give it time! They will
learn how to quickly react to you." Jackie said as she sat down beside me
at the table.

The guys came running down a few moments later. After everyone sat down,
Kevin said grace and then everyone started eating. This must have been the
most relaxed that I have been in the last couple of days. It was good to
sit down with just adults and have a quiet conversation with each other.

After about an hour or so, there was a knock at the door. I quickly
answered it. It was the guy that I had talk to earlier today about getting
my cars tonight. The whole time that I was signing the papers, the man was
apologizing for being so late. Shrugging it off, I wished the man a good
night.

I walked back into the dinning room just in time to see Howie and Nick
clearing the table. Kevin was standing over by the wall talking with Jackie
about something or another. Brian was rinsing dishes and glasses off at the
sink. Alex was cleaning up the small mess that I had made earlier while
cooking. Not wanting to interrupt the working men, I quietly walked over to
Kevin and slipped my arms around his waist and resting my head on his
shoulder. I really wasn't paying attention to what Kevin and Jackie were
talking about until I felt arms wrapping around my waist. Brian rested his
head on my shoulders and started to lightly blow into my ear. Jackie
watched over Kevin's shoulder while Brian slowly kissed down the side of my
neck.

"Is that necessary for you to do in front of your mother, Brian!" Jackie
yelled, but smiling.

"No, but I want to any ways!" Brian whined.

"Brian, do as you mother says! I don't want her after me for how you act
anyways!" I commented, not really wanting he to stop what he was doing to
me. "Okay how about you guys going to get Jackie's things from the hotel,
then we all will call it a night!"

Kevin heard me but I don't think that Brian had because he was still
kissing my neck. But before I could say anything, Kev turned around push
Brian's head away and lightly kissed me and then started to drag Brian out
the door.

"Hey wait Kev!" Bri yelled. Then ran over to me. Quickly kissing me and
then running out the door with Kev following close behind.

Jackie and I sat around waiting for the guys to come back from the
hotel. Alex and Howie left to go on a quiet walk. Nick is up stairs talking
to his brother, Aaron. Jackie and I had not been talking for more than
just a few minutes when the phone rang.....

"Hello..." I said answering the phone. "Chris?" "Hey Jennifer Girl! What
you up to?" I asked. "Hey I was just calling to give you the info on my
arrival tomorrow." Jen informed me, but I knew that there was something
else in her voice. "Okay ...give me a minute...I'll be right back." I
said. "O..kay! " Jen voice was starting to crackle. Still not know what
was going on with her, I excused myself from Jackie and moved myself into
the kitchen to talk to Jen in private. "You still there?" "Yeah....are
you ready?" "Yeah...." "Orlando International......11:15 a.m.....Delta
469....Gate 34....do you got it all?" "Yeah! I have it....Okay I need you
to do something for me now!" "Okay what?" "I want you to tell me what is
wrong with you! And don't say nothing either. I know that you are about to
cry. So tell me what it is and how I can help!" I told her. I don't know
why but I had the feeling that something was seriously wrong.
"I......I....I can't tell you right now! I can't until I see you tomorrow!
Then I will tell you everything...But for right now, don't wrong about
me. I have everything taken care of and I'm looking forward to being with
you and the guys." Jen said seriously sucking at trying to cover up her
crying. "Okay I'm going to go. I will call you before I land for the
airport, okay?" "Yeah that's okay....I will see you tomorrow.....I love
you!" I said hoping that everything is okay, but know that everything was
really wrong. "I love you too....Tell Jase and the guy's that I love them
too!" Jen said softy. Her voice still cracking slightly. "Bye...." "Bye!"
I said softly listening to the click on the other side of the phone. I
don't know when, but for the first time I noticed that I had tears falling.

I walked back into the living room and sat back down. Before I could even
say anything. Jackie was up and was trying to comfort me. The best thing
about this was that I never had to even tell Jackie what was wrong or what
I was hoping or for this matter not hoping. She was freely offering her
love and comfort to me.

Finally after several minutes of Jackie comforting me, the tears slowed
down and I began to relax. I closed my eye and leaned against her hoping
that all my thoughts would just drift away in time. The last thing that I
remember is Jackie telling me to relax.

I felt arms around me. Not just any arms. These arms were strong, caring,
and familiar. The scent of the person was also very familiar. Whoa I'm
moving. The person is picking me up. I'm leaning against a very muscular
chest. I know this chest. I know this person.

I slowly open my eye to look into some of the brownest eye's that I could
have ever seen. I could have lost myself in these eyes, but my eyes were to
heavy to stay open long.

"Go back to sleep. Bri and I will take care of you!" The deep voice coming
form the solid chest that I was leaning into said.

The next time that I woke up, Kev and Bri were just finishing getting ready
for bed. I laid there watching the two of them change into pajama
bottoms. The whole time I was watching them all I could think about was
luck that I was to have them with me. Then the thought that I had them and
Just sent shivers throughout my body. I was so lost in thought that I had
not noticed that Kev was laying down behind me. I leaned my head backwards
and kissed him lightly on his soft lips.

"I love you!" I softly stated to Kev. "I love you too, baby!" Kev said
kissing me again and then laying the rest of the way down. "Chris, babe,
what time do we need to be at the airport tomorrow?" Bri asked sitting at
the edge of the bed getting ready to set the alarm clock to ensure that we
wake on time. "Quarter after eleven. I need to run by Lynn's to steal Jase
back from her." I stated then waited for Bri to finish setting the alarm
clock. Finally he laid down and turned off the light. I leaned over and
kissed him. "I love you...." I stated again. "I love you too. I love you
too Kevy!" Bri remarked with a toothy grin. "I love you too Bri, but you
call me that again I will hurt you!" Kev said never moving from the spot
that he had claimed right behind me. "You wouldn't hit Kev and you know
it! So stop trying to act so macho!" I said pulling away from Kev and
towards Bri. "I'm sorry Bri....I'm sorry Chris.....Can I have my spot back
again?" Kev softly asked. I knew that it was taking all that he could do to
not just automatically go back to the way he was before I pulled out of his
arms. "Yeah you can! Just remember, around us you don't have to act like
everyone is judging you! Kev we love you not what everyone else thinks of
Kevin." I said softly turning to look him in the eye. 'God those eyes! It
must be a family thing!' I thought to myself. "Can we go to sleep now?
Tomorrow is going to come really quickly." I asked. "Yeah go to
sleep. G'night....I love you both." Kev said softly drifting into sleep.

****The Dream*****

Here I look around. This place is unfamiliar, but at the same time it seems
as Deja vu. After carefully looking around I finally realize where I'm
at. This is Orlando International Airport. This is the same airport I have
been in several times. I don't know why I had not realized it any
sooner. But this time there is un-happy feeling floating in the air. A cold
breeze just shot up my back causing me to shiver. Hearing low voices behind
me, I turn. Looking at the group of people walking towards me, I finally
see that except for me and the group of people in front of me, we are the
only ones there. Trying to figure out what is going on, I start to walk
forward only to stumble on something on the floor. My travel bag. Why would
I be here with my travel bag and nothing else. The voices are becoming
louder. I look up to see the three men that I have devoted my life so far
to. At the lead of the group are my three men plus the nine others that
make up part of our family. In between Brian and Justin, stands Jase. Jase
looks a little bit taller that I remember though. Quickly glancing behind
the line of guys, I see the on most horrifying thing in my life. Now I see
nothing but the one thing that has entered my life five times so far. The
one thing that resembled the fact that five of the closest people that I
love are gone. This thing, with its brass railing on all four sides, solid
treated oak, and brass hinges all being uplifted by four men on each
side. Here traveling closer and closer is the thing that I'm the most
terrified of . The Casket! Not just any casket, but the same type of casket
that was selected for my grandparents, father, and Amber and Eric. The
question lingering around in my head was, who is it?

Several moments past, finally my twelve best friends are standing in front
of me. Britney looks at me straight in the eye. I can see that this is one
of the hardest things in her life. Before giving me a chance to ask what is
going on, she latches on to me. I don't know when or why, but tears had
begun to fall down my face. Britney released me allowing me to look into
the eyes of everyone else around me. Glancing behind Christina, was my
mother, aunt Mary, and Judy. The surprising thing was that in my mothers
arms were two small children, both looking newly born. In Judy's arms were
two more babies looking to be exactly the same as the one's in my mothers
arms. Not caring who they are and what they are doing here, I walked up to
the casket. Standing there looking at it, I sensed a feeling that this was
going to be a changing point in my life. As I was going to unlock the lid
to the casket, a cold hand fell upon my shoulder. This hand was one I had
felt before. The hand that I have relied on, on several occasions. The hand
belonging to the person that I would call at all hours of day and
night. Glancing over my shoulder on the side where the hand had laid was
nothing. The eerie feeling suddenly over took me. Without stopping I opened
the lid.

The sight before me took my breath away. The one person that I thought
would always be there with me could no longer be there anymore. The one
living soul that knew everything about me inside and out would no longer be
there. I jumped back trying to scream but nothing would come out. Backing
up to a wall and sliding down, I sat on the floor staring at the casket
while everyone around me watched. Finally able to find my voice, I started
repeating over and over again, "No! Jen don't go! I need you! Please don't
go!". Every time I would say it, it seemed to get louder and louder.

*****Present*****

"No! Jen don't go! I need you! Please don't go!" I yelled thrashing around
in the bed waking both Bri and Kev up. But not know what was going on,
started to try and wake me up.

"Chris baby......wake up!" Kev said softly but sternly. Not getting any
type of response out of me, he quickly gathered me up in his arms are tried
to sooth me. Brian looking lovingly at both Kev and I, decided to help Kev
out and try and wake me up.

"Christopher wake up for me please!" Bri said a little bit louder than Kev
and with more force.

Pulling Kev closer to me, I slowly calmed down enough to relax. Kev and
Bri's soothing hands were the reasons that I was brought out of my
unsettlingly sleep. As soon as I opened my eyes, and realized what had just
happened, I started to cry.

"It's alright Chris....we're here! We're not going to leave you!" Kev said
softly kissing the top of my head. Upon hearing the gentle words from one
of the men that I so dearly loved, I wrapped my arms around him hopping to
never let go.

It felt like I had been holding onto him for hour, but realistically only a
few minutes had passed by. Brian held on to Kev and I without me even
noticing. I don't know if it was exhaustion or I just couldn't cry no more,
but it all finally stopped.

Kev must have noticed because his grip suddenly lessened.

"I love you guys you know that right?" I asked softly wondering if they had
heard it or not.

"Yeah Chris we love you! We not let anything happen to you to anyone else!"
Bri whispered looking me in the eyes.

"Will you tell us what happened? You scared the shit out of the both of
us." Kev spoke softly but sternly.

"It was just a nightmare. I don't want to get into it right now though."
Just as I finished saying that, the alarm clock buzzed scaring the three of
us. During this whole ordeal, no one had happened to glance at the clock.

Not really wanting to get out of the nice warm bed, I just laid there
trying not to think about the dream. Kevin moved to shut off the alarm
causing me to left in a empty spot on the bed. I quickly rolled over and
snuggled into Brian without hesitating.

Just as I was starting to dose off again, I was quickly awaken by the
sudden removal of both sources of heat, Brian and the Blankets.

"Hey give those back!" I yelled.

"No....You're getting up and not going back to sleep and that is final!"
Brian spoke and then walked into the bathroom shutting the door on the way.

"Please Kevy.....give me back the blankets." I beg Kevin, then realizing
the name I had just used.

"You know that I hate that name! Why do you guys use it?" Kevin whined.

"The only ones allowed to use it are Brian, Justin, and I. NO ONE ELSE!" I
said emphasizing the last part.

"I guess that would work but I won't unless you let me call you Chrisy!"
Kevin said trying to be sneaky.

"That is fine as long as you defend me from everyone else calling me that."
I stated

"I won't have it any other way!" Kevin said leaning down to kiss
me. Kevin's soft full lips in grossed my mouth. The moment was cut way to
short by Brian yelling.

"Hey...Hey...Hey....What about me!" Brian whined walking back into the
bedroom fully dressed in black khakis and a light blue silk shirt that
clung to his torso.

Knowing that Brian was done in the bathroom, I quickly ran into the
bathroom. Just before the door was slammed shut, I yelled out, "You have to
get from Kevin because I'm busy!"

Through the door I could hear Brian, "I love you Kevy..........I really
do........I love all three of you so much!", was all that I could hear
before stepping into the shower.

After finally getting out of the shower and getting dressed, I made my way
into the bedroom to find it empty. Walking downstairs, I met Jackie at the
kitchen doorway.

"Good morning" I said kissing her on the cheek.

"Morning! You need to hurry and eat so that you can get to the airport."
Jackie stated while pushing me into the dinning room.

Not being a morning person, I just grabbed a glass of orange juice and some
bacon. I knew that with Nick, Howie, and Alex around everything left over
would be eaten. Once done with our breakfast Kevin, Brian, and I left for
Lynn's to pick up Jase. Before leaving the house I called Lynn so that
Jase was ready to leave when we got there.

The trip to the airport seemed like a blur. There was not much talking on
the trip, so we listened to the radio. Once we arrived at the airport, I
had Kevin drop me and Jase off so that they wouldn't have to make any
sudden escapes because of a fan seeing them. Picking Jase up and walking
inside, I looked to see if there had been a gate change or not.

Delta 469 Arrival Gate: 34 Arrival Time: 11:20am

Okay...so the arrival time changed, no big deal. Making our way through the
terminals, I quickly found our gate and took a seat facing a window. No
sooner had I sat down did Jase attach himself to the window. Looking down
at my watch, I noticed that I had about 5 minutes to wait.

Oh I hate waiting. I don't know how people can sit here for hours waiting
on their flights or for someone else's flight. Jase kept eyeing the planes
as they either took off or landed on the runway in front of him.

"Delta Flight 469 has arrived," came over the intercom.

Okay here we go. Deciding to get up and making it to the front of the line,
knowing very well that Jen would be one of the first ones off the plane.

"Jase come here. Lets go find Aunt Jen. Okay?"

"Yea Aunt Jen is here!!!" he screamed excitedly.

As we go closer to the gate, people started to walk off the plane. Just as
I had said, Jen was about the fifth person off the plane. The look on her
face was one that I could not decide if she was glad to see me or if she
was glad to she land all together.

"I hate flying. Why do I do it anyway?" Jen asked.

"Girl you have more flyer miles than I do! Don't I get a hello, nice to see
you, go to hell, anything?" I asked

"Hell...now go to hell!" Jen said hugging me. Then picking Jase up and
hugging him.

"Lets go pick up your luggage." I said.

"No all I have is a carry on. The rest of my stuff we be sent to the house
tonight. Orders from the guys. They don't let me have no fun at all." Jen
whined.

"Well that is good. At least they have some power over you." I stated.

We started walking outside. Pulling out my phone, I called Kev.

"Hello" Kev answered.

"Yes this is an extremely upset fan. I hear that you have a boyfriend that
you just drop off at the airport and then leave. Now I expect that he
would have better service than that." I said in an angry tone.

"Well I'm sorry, but I will have to direct your call to the complaints
department. Please hold." Kev said then I heard some russelling of the
phone then. "Complaints Department."

"Yes I would like....." I started but was interrupted.

"For service problems press one" "For luggage or baggy returns press two"
"For problems with a boyband press three" "For Blow Jobs or any other
sexual activities press four" "If your boyfriend left you standing at an
airport please hold" holding Holding "Boyfriend services...can I help you?"

"Yes my boyfriend left me with my child standing at the front entrance of
the airport with a very unpleasant woman. Now I would like to have my
boyfriend back, and to be able to get away from this women." I said trying
not to laugh.

"Okay we will be sending a car around here in a minute to rescue you
sir..."

"Well that would be nice...thank you!" I said.

"Thank you for calling the Backstreet Boy Boyfriend Complaint Department."
Brian said then hung up just as Kev pulled up to the curb in front of me.

"Well hello there. I hope you didn't wait long for us. I wouldn't have
wanted you to call or anything." Kev said with a grin.

"I would never do anything like that. I would just wait and be happy to
stand there to see if you would drive around the lot again!" I said rolling
my eyes at Kevin who had started making faces at me.

"Okay I see things haven't changed any in the last couple of days!" Jen
said getting into the car.

The ride home was a little more interesting this time. Jen told us about
everything that had happened since we left. Nothing major just he gossip.

But as the trip went on....I noticed that there was something about the way
she looked that said that she had something to tell but was not going to
say it yet. I also got the feeling that it won't be anything good.

I kept fairly silent the rest of the way home. I will have to have a talk
with Jen later tonight.

*********************

Later that night...I was sitting in my room looking over some papers when
someone knocked on the door. Kevin was in the shower with the door open so
I was a little cautious as to whom I let in. Walking over to the door I
opened it slightly and peaked out. I saw that it was Jen and I let her in.

"Chris I need to tell you something." Jen said, " Can we talk when Kev is
done?"

"Why..." I said starting to get worried. Just then the shower turned off
and Kev walked out with a towel around his waist.

"Hey Kev baby...could you get dressed in Jase's room? Jen wanted to talk
with me for a minute." I asked trying not to sound rude.

"Sure babe! I will be downstairs afterward...come down okay?" Kev said

"I will!" I said as he walked out the door. "What was it that you wanted to
talk about?"

"I'm going to tell you something but your not going to like it!" Jen said
getting up off the bed and walking over to the window.

"Okay...if it is that bad then we will work through it...nothing could be
that bad." I said starting to get really worried.

"Chris I don't know how to tell you." Jen said starting to get upset

"Just say it then"

"Chris I'm pregnant"

"okay that is not that bad" I said

"That is not all of it.... There will be four....I having Quadruplets"

"Jennifer...that is not good...you won't be able to handle that....you
could.....Oh my god!!!!!" I said realizing what was happening.

"Yeah I could and will die!"
