Kevin asked. "No no, he's doing fine now." The doctor stated. "I am Dr. Hartford, I have stabilized his condition and he is in ICU sleeping now." "Oh thank god." Kevin stated jumping up and hugging the doctor. "What happened doctor, was it really a heart attack?" Joey asked. "It was a very mild heart attack, but if it would have been stronger than what it was, it would have likely killed him." The doctor stated. "When can we go in to see him doctor?" Kevin asked. "Right now he's sleeping. I had to sedate him to keep him in a stable condition. Every time he regained consciousness, his patterns went through the roof, so I had to sedate him to get him under control." The doctor stated. "I will check on him again at sunrise, maybe you can see him then." "What would cause his condition to be like that?" Joey asked. "Any number of things. Stress, temperature, infections or something else that could be lurking in his body." The doctor stated. "The next few hours will tell all." "Okay thank you doctor." Joey stated as he got up and shook his hand, as did Kevin, and Nick. "I guess we are camping out here until morning then." "We can't stay here, we need to get home and rest." Nick stated. "You guys go I will stay here." Joey stated. "We are not leaving here until we know that Brian is okay." Nick stated. "Good. Now that that is settled, I am going to take a small nap." Joey stated as he put his head back down on JC's shoulder and fell asleep. // Kevin Richardson's House // "Kevin called me earlier, but he didn't have anything good to report." Kristin stated, talking on the phone to Brian's mother. "That bitch has gone to far this time. I told him to leave her before now, I wish I would have tried harder to get him to leave her." Jackie Littrell stated to Kristin. "I went ahead and booked you and Harold on the next flight here, is that okay?" Kristin asked. "It sure is darlin' I am glad you did it. What's our flight information?" Jackie asked. "Your flight leaves there around 5:30 am, it's flight 276 on American Airlines. You all should arrive here at 8:00 am." "Okay we should see you then." Jackie stated as she and Kristin said their goodbyes and hung up the phone. "Let me get the guestroom ready for them and check on little Baylee." Kristin stated as she headed towards the guestroom, as there was a knock at the door. "Who could that be this early in the morning? Who is it?" "The police ma'am." The police officer stated on the other side of the door. "What do you guys want, haven't you all done enough?" Kristin stated as she stared at the men as she opened the front door. "What do you mean by that Mrs. Richardson?" the police officer asked. "You all have done enough for one night. What is it that you guys want now?" Kristin asked. "We are here to retrieve Brian Littrell and take him into custody based on charges of rape and abuse." The officer stated. "I don't believe this. Because of that bitch of a wife, Brian is in the hospital." Kristin stated. "Mr. Littrell is in the hospital? Why?" the officer asked. "After we got in contact and told him about what you said, he had a heart attack." Kristin stated as the officer looked at her in shock. "You believed what she said and scared him. He's the victim, not her." "Look we have to respond to all complaints." The officer stated. "She came into the station and made the charge against him. She stated that he had beat her, raped her and ran off with the child." "That's not true at all officer. Maybe you don't follow current events." Leighanne stated as she picked up the copy of the Enquirer from the day before and handed it to the officer. "Oh my god. So it seems she's filed a false complaint." The officer stated. "Yeah it was a false complaint. Do you think he would do something like that and appear in the public eye the way he did yesterday?" Kristin asked. "Everything she has done for the last couple of days was a lie." Kristin stated as the officer continued to read the tabloids that Kristin had handed to him then read the local newspaper that she passed to him when he was done. "He's laying in the hospital again because of something she has done. When is this going to stop?" Kristin asked. "What do you mean again?" the officer asked. "His wife has been abusing him ever since the two of them have been married. She has beaten him, berated him and done everything imaginable to make his life miserable." Kristin stated. "The reason why he is here, is to get away from her and get a divorce from her." "I don't believe that woman would do all that to him." The officer stated. "Why would she do something like that to him?" "Because he's gay." Kristin stated. "He only married her because he was feeling the pressure from the fans and society. Instead of following his heart, he married her." // The Hospital // "Code Blue Code Blue! ICU room number four, let's move people!" the doctor yelled as a crash cart was pushed into Brian's room. "Oh my god! Did they go into Brian's room?" Joey asked watching all the commotion. "Yeah and the way they are acting, it doesn't look good." Kevin stated as Joey jumped up and ran to the room as an orderly held him back. "I must get in there to him, I need to see him!" Joey screamed as he struggled with the guy to get into the room. "Sorry sir but you can't go in there right now. The doctors are doing what they can, don't interrupt them."
