IF I LET YOU GO (PART II) Author: Jay Cee

The voice of the captain came over the loudspeaker...

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are commencing our descent into Dubai
International Airport. Please ensure that your seat belts are fastened, and
your tray tables secured."

Nicky and Shane had returned to their seats, Nicky seemingly about to fall
asleep again, his head constantly nodding about.

"Oi, don't fall asleep there Nicky, we're about to land. You'll have to get
up again soon enough."

A low-pitched groan was all that Nicky could manage in reply.

Shane began searching for his seat belt, finding that it was conveniently
located under Nicky's behind. Shane wondered if this would give him an
excuse to have a good feel of his friend's cheeks, although it would almost
be impossible for Nicky not to notice Shane feeling his way around under his
butt.

Shane decided to give it a try, and anyway, he needed to put his seat belt
on, or be constantly reminded by the passing flight attendants of the fact.
Taking a deep breath, he moved his hand slowly onto the cushion of Nicky's
seat. It seemed to Shane that he was asleep, but in reality he was just
dozing, still half awake, but not totally alert. Shane began to slide his
fingers into the small gap between Nicky and the seat cushion, initiating
the search for his belt. His fingers slid with ease between the seat fabric
and the smooth nylon of Nicky's pants, making the search just that little
bit more enjoyable for Shane. He just had a little bit further to go till he
could reach it and...

"Shane, what the hell are you doin'??"

Nicky was asleep no more.

"Um, you're sitting on me belt Nicky, and we're about to land and, um..."

"Here," Nicky said, grabbing the belt and handing Shane the belt, "you
could've asked, y'know."

Nicky tried very hard not to grin while he was saying this to Shane, because
the truth was he was enjoying the probing that had been going on, even if he
was a little unwilling to admit it to himself. He looked in Shane's
direction, confronted with the sight of his friend blushing like he never
had before. Nicky took the easy way out, deciding to gaze out the window as
they came into land, rather than thinking of something to say to Shane in
order to lessen the embarrassment.

Shane was upset, thinking that he'd just made a complete fool of himself in
front of one of his best friends. Even so, he'd enjoyed it, and craved more
of Nicky, and he decided there and then that it was going to be his mission
to turn his friend into his lover, any way he could. He'd be putting
everything on the line, most of all his friendship with Nicky. Shane's train
of thought was cut short as the tyres of the aircraft screeched along the
runway. Westlife had arrived in Dubai.

Luckily for the boys they were just stopping in Dubai for an hour or so,
which meant not having to confront hundreds of screaming fans ready to greet
them at the airport terminal. The airport was fairly empty, so the boys
didn't have to worry too much about being hassled while they wandered around
the terminal. Nicky decided to take a quick shower while they were there,
Mark and Kian let loose in the duty free store, and Bryan and Louis, their
manager, headed for the comfort of the first-class lounge. As for Shane, he
headed for the bar. Hopefully a few drinks would help him sleep on the last
leg home to Ireland.

Shane ordered a double-scotch, and settled in for a long think about how
things were for him. He had a huge crush on Nicky, and decided that he had
to do something about it. But what? He knew who to turn to in situations
like this, and it was his older sister, Michelle. She was the only person
that Shane had confided in about his sexuality, and although she had been
confused about it all at first, she had grown to be very supportive of him,
even if she was the only person he could tell.

Shane quickly knocked down another drink from the bar, and headed to a
public phone in a secluded spot in the terminal. He dialed through, and was
relieved to hear the familiar voice of his sister at the other end.

"Hello, Michelle speaking."

"Hi there, it's only me."

"Well, hello there me. Why you be calling me at this time, hmm? Thought
you'd be home soon enough, right?"

"Yeah, true, but I just wanted to talk about things."

"Things?"

"Yeah, its Nicky again."

"Oh, not that again Shane. Why do you think that you even have the faintest
hope of having anything with that boy? He's head over heels in love with
Georgina, can't you see that? You'll only end up hurting yourself, Shane,
and ruining a great friendship in the process."

"I know that you're right, but, well, I just can't get rid of these feelings
I have for Nicky."

"All right Shane, we'll talk when you get back."

They exchanged good-byes, and Shane, not feeling any better after his talk
with his sister, headed back to the bar.

Nicky rinsed the last of the soap out of his hair and turned off the stream
of hot, steamy water. He grabbed his towel and wrapped it around his slender
waist, and stepped out into the changing area. Nicky was all alone there,
and it gave him time to think about Shane's weird behaviour on the plane. It
was a little out of character for Shane, sure they were close, but for him
to go feeling around was just a little too much for Nicky to take.

Nicky looked up as the door of the changing room swung open, and a tall,
olive skinned man entered. He gave Nicky a quick grin, which Nicky returned.
The man removed his shirt, revealing a toned, hairy chest, and then
proceeded to take off his jeans and briefs. It wasn't just the sight of this
mysterious man's all over tan that drew Nicky to stare at him, almost
unaware of what he was doing, but his long, thick uncut meat and low hanging
balls. What Nicky was sensing was more than admiration, shown by the tent
that had developed under the towel.

"Snap out of it man! What are you doing?" Nicky thought to himself. First
the dream about Shane, and now this. What was going on with him?

He quickly turned away from the man, who was now heading for the shower, to
shield his hard-on. Nicky hurriedly got changed, and headed for the bar, in
the hope that a bit of alcohol in his system would calm him down.

There was half an hour left before they were due to board the plane, so
Nicky was in no rush to get to the bar. As he rounded a corner, he spotted
Shane seated at one of the tables, and alone, a strange sight considering
that they were such a close knit group. He felt as though he wanted to avoid
Shane right now, but he'd have to sit next to him for the next few hours on
the last leg of the trip, so Nicky headed to the bar anyway.

"Nicky, old fend, com have a drink wit' me!"

"Shit Shane, you're pissed! Oh, the flight's gonna be a nightmare!"

"Nah mate, com on, it'll be fun!"

"No, I think you've 'ad enough Shane"

Shane put his arm around Nicky and said, "You know Nicky, I love you, like a
brother. Now have a drink with me, please?"

"Alright, but we have to get moving, how about on the plane, okay Shane?"

Shane flashed Nicky his sexy grin and said, "Okay Nicky, let's go."

"Have you seen any of the other guys around Kian? It looks like we've been
deserted," asked Mark, with a hint of concern coming through in his voice.

"I don't think so, but it is odd. Fair enough, Louis and Bryan are in the
lounge, but as for Shane and Nicky, who knows?"

"I'm gonna buy these chocolates for on the plane. Might make it more
enjoyable," said Mark, a smile spreading across his face.

"As if it won't be enjoyable enough! Shit, look at the time Mark! We need to
get moving, come on!"
