Wassup people?! My name is Jay. Robert Jay. I work at the NBC
Experience store in Rockefeller Plaza, New York. Every Friday in the
summer, a musical guest comes to perform on the Today show. I work right
across the street in plain view of the Today show, so of coarse I can see
every performer that comes to do the show. And today was no exception.

*NSYNC was performing today and no doubt I was a little excited. I
mean I had a crush on J.C. since he was on the Mickey Mouse club. And now
he's older and looks better than ever. I mean it wasn't a sexual crush it
was more like: J.C. hold my hand and tell me you love me. You know what I
mean. Well anyway I was watching through the window of the store and I was
in plain sight of the stage. Anybody who was standing on the stage could
see me and vise versa. Then they came on stage. All five members of
*NSYNC. There were a lot of people there that day. There were people in
back of the stage and across the street outside the store just wanting to
hear *NSYNC. J.C. must have wanted to see everybody there that day cause
he turned around and waved to everyone in the back and where I was in the
window. Suddenly he stops waving and he seemed to be looking dead at me.
I looked around me to see if he was looking past me or next to me, but no
one was around me in the store. He waved again this time it looked like it
was right at me. I waved shyly back and he smiled.

I was enjoying the performance they were giving but all to soon it
was over.

Me: "Oh well back to work."

I was operating the Kodak booth that day. And I didn't think about it at
the time but sometimes the performers on the Today show come into the store
to take a picture and sign it so we can hang it in the store. Well I was
sitting in my booth doing my best to get people to buy a picture, but
nobody was goin' for it. Suddenly, one of the top managers, Barry, came by
me and said:

Barry: I need you to take a picture of some V.I.P's for me.

Me: Ok where are they?

And after I said that there right in front of me appeared: Justin, Lance,
J.C., Joey and Chris... Also known as *NSYNC. Well you can tell I was a
little shocked but come on there just people right? Very good looking
people. I composed myself and did my job.

Barry: Think you can handle 5 people in the studio today?

Me: No problem Barry. I'll take it from here.

So I set them up on the set and had them do a bunch of crazy poses. I hope
JC didn't notice me staring at him the whole time.

Me: OK, guys come down and take a look, and tell me which one you guys
like.

They all came down to the computer terminal to look at the different shots
I took. I was sitting in the chair in front of the terminal, Justin was on
my left, Joey was next to him, Lance was after him, Chris was next to Lance
and on my right, leaning in a little closer than anyone else was the
picture of perfection, JC.

I went through the pictures and they commented and critiqued them, until I
got to one they all agreed on.

Justin: That one looks excellent.

Joey: I look silly.

Lance: You always look silly.

Chris: Yea I like it too.

JC: So do I. Good job Rob.

Apparently he looked at my nametag while I was taking the pictures. I was
focused on him the whole time too. I mean can you really blame me? He was
simply perfect. Though he didn't notice me stealing looks every now and
then. I felt like I didn't want this to be the last time that we saw each
other, but I knew it would be inevitable.

Me: Ok, guys are you sure u like this one?

They all agreed one last time and I printed out one 8x10 for them to sign
so we can hang in the store. 5 5x7 for each one of them to take for
themselves and one 5x7 of JC I took when nobody was looking, it was a great
shot too. He was looking at the camera, or me I'm not sure, and he was
slightly turned to the right but still I had a good view of his face.

Me: Ok, follow me to the pick up station and I can get your pictures.

They all followed me wit JC walking right next to me asking me questions
like:

JC: How long have you been working here?

Me: About 10 months.

JC: Do you like it here?

Me: It can get annoying at times, but then I remember that I can get to see
cool people like you guys and it makes it worth while.

JC: That's cool.

Me: Not to mention the commissary is something to be reckon with here, and
really cheap.

JC: Well that's always good.

Me: True. You guys are really cool. I bet it'd be fun to hang out wit u
guys.

JC: Yea we are pretty wild.

Me: I am too, you just don't know.

JC: I'll bet. You seem to have an explosive personality.

We got to the pick up counter and I went behind the counter to get the
photos out of the printer.

I put the 8x10 in a frame and asked each one of them to sign it for the
wall, and while they were doing that I put each of the 5 5x7's in a frame
and gave one to each of them.

JC: Thanks Rob you been really cool while we were here.

Lance: Ok guys we have to get to MTV(tm) for TRL. We should get going.

JC&me: (thinking) I wish we/they could stay.

4 of the five guys started down to the ground level to go out the door, and
on to the bus, when I called out to JC.

JC: Mr. Chasez?

JC: What's up Rob?

Me: Um, Please don't tell anybody but I kind of look up to you and I
printed out a separate picture of you for myself and I wonder if could sign
it for me?

I could lose my job for asking him this but I did it anyway. I just can't
get over the fact that they are here.

JC: Sure I'd love to. When people stop askin for my autograph I'll begin
to worry.

Me: I appreciate this so much.

JC: It's cool man you knew who we were and you didn't act like a crazy
person a.k.a. a normal fan you treated us like we were normal customers
coming to take a picture and that means a lot to all of us me especially.

Joey: Come on dork we're gonna be late.

JC: Sorry I gotta go, It was so nice meeting you.

Me: It was an honor to meet you.

We jus sat there for a moment just looking at each other with an awkward
silence when JC spoke.

JC: Maybe we'll meet again in the future.

Me: Yea, I hope so. You know where I work if you're ever in town.

JC: See ya round Rob.

Me: Ok Mr. Chasez take it easy.

JC: Oh and you can call me Josh, I don't mind.

Me: Ok Bye Josh.

He walked out of the store but yet I felt like we would meet again someday,
or maybe it was me hoping that we would. Well I put it outta my mind and
looked at the picture that I took of Josh and read his autograph...

Rob, Thanx for being so cool to the guys and me while we were in your
store. You seem like a really cool person and I would like to hang out wit
you some time. After me and the guys finish at MTV(tm) we are goin to be
in town for a couple weeks and I would like it if you hung out wit us, or
me. Here's my cell number: ###-###-#### call me sometime today maybe when
you get off.

Stay cool, Joshua Chasez

Damn, he wrote that letter on the back of the picture but that wasn't what
surprised me. What did was how he wrote such a long note with out me
knowing it. But in any case I was definitely gonna call him when I got
off.

The rest of the day went really well taking pictures of people and what
not. The end of the day came and I was happy as hell cause it meant that I
might be hanging out wit the coolest guy on the planet Joshua. There was
something about him, it wasn't the fact that he was a celebrity cause I
forgot about that when we were talking, it's something in his eyes.

Well anyway I made my way out the store and upstairs to my locker to change
and get ready to go. When I got off the elevator there was my manager
standing there waiting for me.

Manager: Hello Robert.

Me: Hi, Angela.

Angela: Would you mind coming to my office and having a talk with me?

Me: No not at all.

I followed he to her office. All the while thinking I was gonna get fired
for sure, for asking Josh for an autograph. We went into her office and I
sat down.

Angela: Do you know why I asked you in here?

Me: Yea.

I said as I hung my head in shame.

Angela: Well congratulations on your promotion, I thought we kept it a good
secret from you but apparently you were to smart for that.

I tried not to sound relived but boy was I.

Angela: Well as a incentive you get a week off with pay starting on Monday
so enjoy your weekend and you week off, and we'll start your manager
training when you get back. And just to let you know, I do know about the
autograph you asked a member of NSYNC for. But it's ok because after they
left a member, I believe his name was JC, told us you did a brilliant job
of taking care of their picture and said you had excellent customer service
skills. And that's what really put us over the top. We've been watching
your progress here, and you really are doing a great job.

Me: Thank you so much. I really appreciate this.

Angela: You deserved it Robert. By the way you still have to pay for that
picture.

Me: Ooo! Damn you shut me down.

I handed her the price of the picture, thanked her again and walked out of
her office and into the locker room to change. After I finished all that I
got outside and called Josh.

Josh: Hello?

Me: Um hi Josh its Rob.

Josh: Hey how are you?

Me: I'm great, I actually got a promotion today.

Josh: That's excellent Rob, congratulations.

Me: Thank you. Are you busy?

Josh: No not at all. In fact I was jus sitting here in my hotel room
actually waiting for you to call, and I'm glad you did.

Damn Josh was waiting for my call? I don't believe it.

Me: Oh really?

Josh: Yea I was wondering if you wanted to go out and eat then go to a club
with me.

Me: I'd really like that actually. I didn't think I was ever gonna see you
again. And I really liked talking to you for that little time that we did
cause I felt like I knew you for a long time.

Josh: That's funny.

Me: What is?

Josh: I felt the same way. Maybe we knew each other in a past life.

Me: Maybe. Uh Josh?

Josh: Wassup Rob.

Me: I really wanna hang out wit you tonight but I'm really not a club
person. I can't dance.

Josh: Well how about dinner and a movie? And then I'll teach you how to
dance sometime then you can come with me to a club.

Me: Ok sound good to me.

Josh: Great, um. Did you leave the plaza yet?

Me: No I'm standing right out front.

Josh: Cool, I'll throw something on and I'll be over to pick you up. What
side are you on?

Me: The 50th street side.

Josh: OK give me about 15 to 20 minutes.

Me: ok

Josh: See ya soon.

Me: ok, later

Oh my god, Joshua Chasez is gonna pick me up. Does this count as a date?
I can't say that cause I don't know how his feelings are toward me. I
waited in front of 50th street entrance to Rockefeller Plaza and exactly 20
minutes from the time I got off the phone with him Josh pulled up in front
of the building wearing a Mets baseball cap and some Gucci sunglasses that
looked really good on him. I guess that was his incognito look. He rolled
up in a not so flashy car it was a stylish yet low key, a blue convertible.
A Chrysler I assume.

Josh: Hey Rob. Hop in.

I got in and we drove off.

Josh: You hungry?

Me: Yea I am actually.

Josh: Cool, you got a favorite restaurant?

Me: Uh, yea. Its called Le Mela. That's Italian for the apple.

Josh: Where is it?

Me: It's in little Italy on Mulberry St.

Josh: Alright that's where we'll go.

We drove through the streets of Manhattan, past the west village, past
china town, and into Little Italy. We parked in a small lot down the
street from the restaurant.

Josh: I never been down here. It's really nice.

Me: Yea, I always feel warm welcoming feelings down here. Everyone's so
friendly.

Josh: And you can walk in the streets. That's cool.

Me: Well this is the place I was telling you about.

La Mela is a family style restaurant, meaning they serve you from one big
dish and everyone spoons there own serving. Its a high-energy place wit
lots of people in there all the time, cause the food is unbelievable.

Host: Two?

Josh: Yes please.

Host: Is here ok?

Josh: Yea great.

We sat down and waited to be served.

Josh: This place looks like my grandmother's kitchen.

Me: Yea they want to give you that family feeling. I also forgot to
mention that there are no menus here. There's a set menu they serve, just
like in Italy. You jus have to trust me that the food is amazing.

Josh: I trust you. And that's the funny thing, I don't know you that well
but I feel like I can trust you. You don't seem to care that I'm JC from
NSYNC. You see me as Joshua Chasez a customer who came into your store and
took a picture. And like I said before that means a lot to me.

Me: That's cool. I like to make everyone that comes in the store feel
welcome and happy.

Josh: Well you do a really good job of it.

Me: Thank you.

Waiter: Bouna notte signori. Can I start you off with some nice antipasto?

Josh: Sure. What's in it?

Waiter: Ah we have some delizioso stuffed mushrooms, mozzarella de buffola,
wit tomati e' basil leaves and whole asparagus.

Josh: Whatever it is he said sounds good. We'll have it.

Waiter: Ok I will return with your antipasto. Would you like a drink?

Josh: Do you drink wine?

Me: Not really, I'm more of a RemyRed(r) and margarita person.

Josh: Ok I'll have a glass of blush Merlot.

Me: And I'll have a Pepsi(r).

The waiter walked away and Josh asked.

Josh: what was all that stuff he said in Italian?

Me: Luckily I took Italian in high school for 3 years. He said good
evening sirs; we have delicious stuffed mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella with
tomatoes and basil leaves, and asparagus.

Josh: Buffalo mozzarella?

Me: Yea trust me it's really good. Actually it's the real mozzarella,
originally it was made from Buffaloes, but it's really expensive, cause
let's face it who wants to go out in a field to milk a buffalo, so in
America we milk cows.

Josh: Oh. (Thinking: Smart and cute.) Cool. I learned something new.

We both smiled at that and jus sat in a silence for about 5 minutes looking
out the windows watching the people in the restaurant enjoy themselves,
till finally I said.

Me: Josh thank you.

Josh: For what? Inviting you out? It's my pleasure.

Me: That's not what I meant. I'm mean thank you for telling my boss I did
such a good job.

Josh: How'd you know? He chuckled

Me: Well she told me. She even called you by your name. It was because of
your comment that made them decide it was time for a promotion. So again,
thank you so much.

Josh: Well I felt you did something nice for me by treating me like a
person, I'd do something good for you by letting your boss know she has a
wonderful person on her staff.

Waiter: Scusi signori, here are your drinks and here is your antipasto,
enjoy.

Josh: This looks delicious.

Me: It is wait till you taste it.

Josh took a slice of mozzarella and a couple stuffed mushrooms and took a
taste.

Josh: oh my god this is good. Why didn't I know about this place before?

Me: Cause It's a secret to all those outside of the bi-state area, meaning
New York and New Jersey.

Josh: Speaking of that where do you live?

Me: I live in New Jersey.

Josh: And you just commute back and forth?

Me: Yup. I like New York but I rather live in a house than a small
non-rent controlled apartment.

Josh: I feel you on that one.

We finished our antipasti and the waiter came back with the pasta.

Josh: Ok Rob tell me what this is.

Me: Well we have tortallini with a vodka sauce, gnocchi, which is a potato
pasta, and rigatoni with maranara and melted mozzarella.

Josh: Cool, smells good let's see how it tastes.

He took a bite and almost cried because it was so good.

Josh: This is truly unbelievable. How did you find out about this
restaurant?

Me: Word of mouth actually. Me and a friend of mine were in the west
village one day and we were hungry and couldn't figure out what to eat, and
while we were walking around my friend told me about a restaurant him and
his boss went to one day and said it was amazing but he couldn't remember
the name or where it was. So we just walked till we came upon this place
and suddenly he remembered this was the place he's been to.

Josh: That was some luck huh?

Me: Yup.

We continued through the different courses they had till we were both
stuffed. When the bill came I pulled out my wallet but Josh shut me down
saying:

Josh: I invited you out so I'll pay, for dinner and the movie.

Me: Well I won't object to that.

Josh paid and we hopped in his car and sped off toward 42nd street to go to
the AMC 25 theatre.

Me: This is a nice car Josh.

Josh: Wish I could say thank you but this is a rental. My car is in
Florida where I live.

Me: I've always wanted to ask a celebrity what kind of car they drive. So
I guess there's no time like the present. Josh?

Josh: Yes?

Me: What kind of car do you drive?

Josh: I drive a Jaguar XKR.

Me: Ooh, one of my favorites. Maybe with this promotion I can afford my
dream car.

Josh: Which is?

Me: A Mercedes. Any class I don't care. I'll be happy with the little
C-coupe.

Josh: Good things come to good people, and I can't think of a more good
person.

Me: That's kind of you.

Josh: I'm a kind person.

Me: I can tell.

Josh: I can tell you're a genuinely kind person too.

Me: I am.

Josh: So you got an idea of what movie you want to see?

Me: I heard Goldmember was good. And I kinda feel like a comedy.

Josh: Yea me too. Austin Powers here we come.

We got to the theatre and again he insisted on paying, so I let him, but I
was determined to do something for him in turn. When we got to our seats I
said I had to go to the bathroom and instead went to the concession stand
and got him some popcorn and a soda. When I brought it back to him he was
quite appreciative and said I didn't have to do that but I wanted to.

Me: You been really nice to me this whole night I wanted to do something
for you and since I didn't have really much time to set somethin up I jus
did what I could.

Josh: You are a cool person you know that. Something as little as this
means a lot.

Me: It's the least I could do, for a nice guy like you.

We were sitting in the back of the theatre where nobody could really see
Josh, so we had a lot of privacy. Josh was a really cool person I couldn't
figure out what made him so, wonderful. In such a short time I was feeling
more than just a friendship developing.

Josh: That was pretty damn funny. All of his movies were.

Me: I agree. My abs hurt from laughing that much.

I looked at my watch and gagged.

Me: Oh my god. It's 3 in the morning I missed the last bus to my house in
Jersey.

Josh: Oh that's no problem, You can stay in my hotel room with me at the W.

Me: Josh I couldn't...

Josh: Please I insist. It would be no trouble at all.

Well since he insisted yet another time, I couldn't resist. Not to mention
I always wanted to stay at the W. But then again this is all moving kind
of fast. I still don't really know this guy, and he doesn't know me. Hmm
what to do?

Josh: Please? I couldn't live with myself if anything happen to you out
here by your self.

Me: Alright since you asked so nicely.

Josh: Great then you can meet the rest of the guys. I know if I like you
they will too.

Oh boy here we go. My life is about to change. We got in his car and
headed to the W which wasn't to far from were I worked. He drove the car
to the back of the hotel and parked it in the hotel garage. When we got
out we headed to the guard, and Josh showed him his room key. We got on
the elevator and went to his floor.

Josh: I had a really nice time with you tonight. You're a good person to
talk to, cause you listen.

Me: Thank you everybody tells me that. And I like to listen to people, and
sometimes give some advice when needed.

Josh: Really? I might need your advice sometime. We'll talk about it
tomorrow cause I'm beat right now.

Me: Ok cool.

We got to his floor and walked to the room. Room number 1513. I
got to play that number in the lotto. He opened the door and my mouth
dropped to the floor. I never saw such a beautiful room. There was a
kitchenette with a small dinning area a living room with a huge TV, two
bathrooms and a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and another giant TV.
It was simply gorgeous.

Me: Josh, this room is bigger than my house, (kidding of course), it's
beautiful.

Josh: Well you don't be a member of NSYNC and have nothing to show for it.

Me: You got that right. So I assume I'll be sleeping on this couch?

Josh: Don't be silly your gonna sleep in the bed.

Me: Umm....

Josh: Do you see how big that bed is? Not only that, that couch isn't
comfortable anyway.

Me: uhh.. ok.

He smiled and I asked him:

Me: Mind if I take a shower, I sleep better when I do.

Josh: Not at all. Any toiletries you find in there that you need, don't
hesitate to use em. And I'll lay something out for you to sleep in.

Me: Cool deal. Oh and Josh?

Josh: What's up?

Me: Thank you for everything, especially this wonderful evening. I can't
remember the last time I hung out with someone and had so much fun.

Josh: Not a problem, I enjoyed myself too.

I went into the bathroom and stripped naked and started the shower. When I
got in the shower I started thinking about Josh. Man he was better looking
in person than on TV. It really did him no justice. The shape of his
perfectly crafted body made me tremble. The way his eyes crinkle on the
sides when he smiled and his beautiful blue eyes which I can look in and
see his magnificent spirit within. Man those are a gift from God. What is
it about him that makes me feel so good? His kindness, generosity,
personality, looks. Or is it in his eyes?

I finished up my shower and helped myself to some of Josh's deodorant and
mouthwash since I didn't have a toothbrush on me. I walked back out in to
the bedroom, where I found Josh already in the bed wearing nothing but a
pair boxerbriefs that were clinging to his body like a latex glove. His
body was better than I imagined. I was just staring at him with a blank
expression on my face. And he was doing the same until I finally said
something to him.

Me: Josh? Josh!

Josh: Oh I'm sorry. I was thinking about something.

Me: Are these for me?

I said pointing at the pair of boxerbriefs and black wife beater
lying on the bed.

Josh: Yea that's for you.

I went back into the bathroom and put on the things he lied out for
me. If I didn't know any better I'd think he was trying to start
something, but who am I kidding there's no way Josh could be gay. Could
he? No not one of the most popular guys on the planet.
I walked back into the room and got in the bed, under the sheets.

Josh: Would you like to watch a little TV before you go to sleep?

Me: Sure what's on?

Josh: Bunch of movies, infomercials, reruns, you know the usual.

Me: Oh. How bout a movie.

Josh: The Klumps, Resident Evil, or Scary Movie 2?

Me: Resident Evil I love that movie.

Josh: Your not gonna go and get scared and jump on me are you?

Me: Your funny, I said laughing.

He turned to the movie and we watched in silence for a while. I
couldn't stop thinking that Josh was half-naked next to me. He smelled of
Candies fragrance for men, and had the body of a god. I tried hard to
watch the movie but it was no use, I was thinking to much of Josh and his
personality and other things, you know what I mean. I decided I would have
no chance with this guy and rolled over to go to sleep.

The morning was a beautiful one. The air was warm, not hot. The sun was
shining on the lustrous buildings. And slowly the streets began to fill
with early morning commuters.
When I woke up in the morning Josh and I were facing each other. I
studied his face immensely. He was to hot for words. He began to stir,
maybe he sensed me looking at him, so I gently rolled over so that I wasn't
facing him, hoping he didn't notice me looking.

Josh: Good morning, Rob.

Me: Morning Josh.

Josh: Did you sleep comfortably?

Me: Yea I did, this bed is like a cloud.

Josh: The W always has the most comfortable beds.

Me: I felt like I had a mini vacation, though I am on vacation for the next
week.

Josh: Really?

Me: Yea, part of a congratulation for the promotion NBC is giving me a week
off with pay.

Josh: Wow that's excellent. Looks like I'll have to find something fun for
you and I to do.

Me: Huh?

Josh: Yea, you're one of my friends now and I like to spend time with a new
friend.

When he said that my heart melted. I finally have a real friend.
I mean I got aquantinces and people I hang out with, but none of them I
trust or is trusting of me like I am with Josh.

Me: That means a lot to me Josh.

Josh: I'm glad it does, cause it means a lot to me to have a good person
like you to consider a friend. We don't make many friends on the road, and
if we do they just care about the fame and not our feelings. But your way
different than that, you genuinely care.

He said this and his eyes began to water a little. Wow he's
sensitive too. He's the perfect man.

Me: Josh you ok?

Josh: Yea, I'm just happy that's all. Thank you for being you.

Me: Thank you for considering me a friend.

Josh: Ok, enough of that sentimental shit, He said laughing, you hungry?

Me: Yea a little, I said with a chuckle.

Josh: Ok I'll order some breakfast.

Josh rolled over and picked up the phone and ordered some breakfast
for the two of us, as I got up to wash my face and swig some Listerine. I
then went in to the living area where Josh joined me on the couch, to watch
some TV.

Josh: So, you got any idea what you wanna do today with your new friend?

Me: I really hadn't think about it. Let's talk about it when we eat. I
actually think better while I'm eating.

Josh: Sounds cool to me.

We watched a little TV till the food got there. The room service
guy knocked on the door and Josh opened it, took the food and gave the guy
a nice tip.

Me: What did you get?

Josh: I got us a couple of omelets, some waffles, fruit, and some Canadian
bacon, orange juice and coffee. You think that's enough?

Me: For me yea. But what will you have? I said with a straight face.

We both laughed and dug into the feast Josh got for us. Boy the
food at the Hilton was so good, but it was no IHOP(r).

After a while of eating I started thinking of what we can do that
day.

Me: Have u ever been on the NBC experience tour?

Josh: Actually I never have. I've only gone there to do shows and stuff.

Me: Cool, so you wanna go? We can get in free since you're a celebrity and
I work there.

Josh: Sounds like a great idea to me.

We showered, separately of coarse, dressed and headed towards NBC.

Me: Say? Don't you need to be incognito while you're in public?

Josh: Yea, that's why I have these.

	He pulled out some sunglasses.

Josh: And this.

A Mets baseball cap.

Josh: And you.

Me: Me?

Josh: Yea, I'm gonna make sure I don't leave your side so no one will try
and talk to me.

Me: Ok if you say so.

We walked in the NBC experience store, and I was getting all types
of well wishing and congrates from some of the employees as well as a few,
"Who is that?" from people. I jus said it was an old friend up here from
Florida for the week. I'm surprised they really didn't recognize him.

We got our tickets and joined a tour. The tour went on for about
and hour and a half, and we ended up back in the NBC Experience store, for
the last part of our tour, The Globe Theater. In short the Globe, which is
what us NBC employees call it, is a huge sphere with over a 100,000 LED
light on the outside. Inside there is a 110-degree curved high-definition
screen, and an 11-speaker DTS sound system. I really didn't want to watch
the presentation cause I watch it everyday, Duh I work here, but I watched
it since Josh hadn't seen it.

We sat there watching the presentation. Josh was into it but I was
thinking of other things. I like working here but in the same sense I
didn't cause I would never get very far in this company. I have no talent,
or did I never really tried to act before. I don't have a degree in
anything else that has to do with television so I guess I'm sorta stuck
here, at this dead-end job. Entertaining the tourists. My face became
flat and expressionless. Josh noticed and decided to talk to me.

As we were coming out of the theatre Josh spoke.

Josh: I noticed you got a lil bit unhappy while we were in there you wanna
talk about whatever is on your mind?

Me: Sure, lets go around to the NBC museum and I'll fill you in.

We walked somewhat in back of the Globe and sat on the benches back
there.

Me: I was jus thinking, you know eventhough I got a promotion there's
really not very far I can go in this company. I have ambitions and goals
and I can't get to em by working here and joking around with tourists.

Josh: Well then you have to ask yourself, what do I want to do with my
life?

Me: Well that's just it I'm not sure. I mean this job is good for now, but
what about in a year or two. I fell like I've gotten in to this revolving
door and I can't get out if it.

Why was I opening up to this guy like this? I felt totally free
and safe with him, and I've only known him for a few days. AND I slept in
his bed! What the hell was I doing there?! As I started to come to my
senses I realized that I did something I wouldn't have normally done and it
kind of scared me.

Me: Oh no!

Josh: What's wrong?

Me: I just realized something.

Josh: What's that?

Me: I can't explain, listen I really enjoyed your company, but I have to
go. Uh, it was nice to have met you, bye.

And before he could answer I jump up and half ran half-walked out
of the building. I walked to the train to go home.

What just happened? Was I blinded by lust over a guy so handsome
that I would just compromise my morals? Man I got some shit wit me.

I thought about the past two days, when I got home and realized I
must have looked like a real jerk, the way I left like that. But I mean I
didn't know him and he didn't know me. Yet I liked being around him. His
presence was enough for me.

~TWO DAYS LATER~

I was enjoying my little vacation, while out in my back yard
barbecuing a couple of burgers when the phone rang. I looked on the caller
id.

Me: What kind of area code is that.

Mind you I had forgotten that I met a superstar two days ago. I picked you
the phone and spoke.

Me: Hello?

Josh: Hi Rob. It's me Josh.
