"Jason and JC - Part 2"

Hello again all. I just wanted to say to those of you who are reading this,
thanks for continuing to read. I havent gotten much of a reply to my first
posting. If you like the story, email me at a41a14a@yahoo.com and let me
know. You can also contact me via ICQ at 76118280. I do value other
peoples opinions. Anyway, I also want to say that the first part may have
seemed a little... well to put it plainly, boring. This story gives the
opposite perspetive and you find out who Jason was talking to. This was
origionally part of the first part of the story but I forgot to include
it. Sorry. I am just putting the finishing touches on the next edition and
it should be out in the next couple of days. It is very good, you'll enjoy
it im sure. Anyway...

The legal disclaimer stuff. This story does not intend to imply that any
members of 'N Sync or any of the other characters contained in the story
are homosexual. If they are, thats thier business. You know the rest of the
story, so if you don't have a problem with homosexual relations and you are
of legal age, the by all means, PROCEED.

Meanwhile...

Somewhere across the country in California, the five boys of 'N Sync had
just gotten out of the limo and were heading up to thier rooms. They had
expected to do a show tonight, in fact, the stadium is where they returning
from. They had arrived at the stadium where they were scheduled to do a
show later that night, but due to technical dificulties, they were forced
to delay the show until tommorow.

"I can't believe this!" JC exclaimed as they entered the elevator. "We
never miss a show."

"We didn't really MISS it." Justin replied. "We just gonna to do it
tommorow."

"Yeah JC I've never know you to complain about off-time." Joey said as he
poked him in the arm.

The elevator dinged and they stepped out onto thier floor. The hotel had
reserved the entire floor for them. Most hotels did that so they wouldn't
have to worry about being disturbed.

"I know, I just hate getting behind. But I'm glad you guys put up with me
anyway." JC grinned as he joked back with them.

"Well," Lance said as they stopped at the junction in the hall, "what are
we going to do now that we don't have a show to do?"

"Let's party!" Joey shot back. Joey loved the party scene. The gang could
hardly keep him away from it. "There are plenty of places to go and things
to see."

"Sounds alright to me."Lance replied. "What do you think?" he asked as he
looked over at the other three.

"Sure, you know I'm up for anything." Justin answered.

"I guess I could ride along and make sure you guys don't get into trouble."
Chris told them. Chris was like the seargent-at-arms amongst them. If any
of them ever stepped out of line, he sure let them know it. He always kept
a watchful eye to make sure that they stayed out of trouble.

"What about you JC?" Lance asked, noticing JC's delay in answering.

"I think I'm just going to chill out here tonight man. Catch some early
Z's." JC replied. The other four weren't too surprised he declined the
offer. JC had never been the hearty partier. He would go out with them
usually, but he usually just was there. He never really got into the whole
party thing. The excitement, the adrenaline, the rush, any of it.

"Alright, well I guess we'll see you tommorow morning then." Lance told
him. "I have to go and get something guys. I'll be down in a second OK."

The other three nodded in understanding and returned to the elevator. JC
and Lance entered thier respective rooms and JC fell back on the bed. He
didn't expect the knock on the door that came soon after.

He got up and went to the door. Checking the peep hole to make sure it was
someone he knew, he spotted Lance on the other side of the door. He drew
back the bolt and opened the door.

"Are you OK bro?" Lance asked concerned."You seem a little, I don't know,
down." Lance was so caring. If he hadn't become a singer, he would have
made a damn good psychiatrist. He could always tell when something wasn't
right with someone. It was like he could look at someone and see right into
thier soul.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little tired, that's all." JC told him, which
was the truth. There wasn't anything wrong with him that he could tell. He
just didn't see the point in partying all the time. They had just gone out
the other night and were out nearly all night long.

"Alright, well I just wanted to check. You know me." Lance said as he
shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah, I know you Scoop. I appriciate the thought." JC said as patted his
friend on the back. "Now go on, get outta here. Go and have some fun."

He watched Lance go down to the elevator before closing his door
again. 'What a friend.' he thought. Lance was and always had been a genuine
friend.

JC went back over to his bed and sat back down. He grabbed the remote and
switched on the TV. The local news popped onto the screen.

"...and the 'N Sync concert that was schedule for tonight was postponed due
to technical dificulties. But the boys ensured us that they will be
performing for us tommorow. I can't wait. How about you?" the female news
anchor said as she turned toward her male co-anchor. 'Yeah, right.' he
thought 'All we get are screaming teenage girls and estrogen raging
females, plus the occasional gay guy. Like there are any straight guys that
are out there that listen to us.' He changed the channel before the
coanchor could respond.

He flipped through all of the channels several times and found nothing of
interest. He fell back on the bed, and then looked over at his laptop which
lay on the desk. He got up and walked over to the desk. He plugged the line
into the computer and began dialing up to the local station.

He spent a few minutes checking email and responding to it. He didn't
recieve too much mail. All of the fan mail was routed to the fan
organization, where it was read by employees and most of it was responded
to by a form letter and autographed picture. They couldn't allow the band
members to personally respond to any of the fan mail because one, there was
so much of it and two, if it could create a trend. Everyone would want to
get a personal response and that just could never happen. So the letters he
got were usually from family and a few friends.

After he had finished checking his mail, he decided he check out some chat
rooms, just to see what people were saying about the group. He logged into
a chat room using his protected online name: JoC2000.

Not many people were talking about them tonight. In fact, no one was. That
got JC a little down. Was there popularity fading? He was about to change
rooms when a general message came across the room:

"Is there anyone out there who has a life in common with "Bye, Bye, Bye"?
If you do, I'd like to chat with you."

JC sat at his computer a moment trying to decide whether or not to
respond. 'What the heck.' he decided as he moved the cursor up and hit the
reply button.

"Hello JoC." was the response that came across on his computer screen.

Curious about the reason this stranger had asked such a question JC typed
"So you have a "Bye, Bye, Bye" life, huh? What happened?"

Soon after he asked, the story flooded the screen. It was the saddest story
he had heard in a long time. It took a great deal to keep from
crying. 'It's just a shame that such bad things can happen to good people.'
he thought as his chat mate finished his story.

"Well you did the right thing, dude. You deserve better." JC typed, doing
his best to reassure the person on the other end. He added just a little
something in to elicit more opinions about the band. "Just keep saying Bye,
Bye, Bye and you'll be fine. Do you like 'N Sync's music?"

"Well, I really haven't listend to them before. I just caught that song on
the radio tonight and I really enjoyed it. I think I'm going to go and get
thier CD tommorow to check out thier other songs."was the other persons
response. 'Well I guess I was wrong' JC thought to himself. 'There are
straight guys out there who like our music.'

"Yep, they are pretty good. I enjoy them." JC returned trying to boost
thier image as much as possible. They continued to chat and the
conversation expanded until they were talking about anything and
everything. JC couldn't belive his luck. He had found someone with his own
interests and opinions. He finally had someone he could talk to.

He stuggled with the decision of whether to reveal himself or not, and in
the end, he decided against it. Besides, why would he belive him. They
chatted and chatted and before he knew they knew it, it was getting
late. The guys were due back soon. So they decided to say goodbye for the
night. He was sorry to see his new friend go, but before he left he had
promised he would be back tommorow.

So JC said goodbye and logged out of the chat session. He closed his
computer and decided he had better get some rest. He slipped out of his
clothes and underneath the covers, and drifted off into a peaceful nights
sleep.
