Subject: JC & Jas Part 17

Disclaimer: I am not assuming anything about the lives of anyone in this
story. Many may wish things to be true, but who knows so don't be
offended, just enjoy. If you're UNDER 18, stop reading this, and all that
other legal stuff.

This is my first attempt, and I know this story lacks sexual adventures,
give it time, I want them to get to know each other first, okay?

JC and Jason spent the afternoon laying together on the couch. `This
is complete happiness. . .' Jason sighed and ran his fingers across JC's
cheek.
"Hmm, I love you." JC said, looking into Jason's eyes.
"I love you, too, hun. Do you want to go over our schedules now?"
	"Oh yeah. Good idea."
As they sat up, both reached for their planners and set to work.
"Well, I'm free the week after you leave, which sucks, and then I'm
busy the two weeks after that."
"We have strict rehearsals the two weeks after that anyway, new steps
to learn, so I wouldn't be able to get away, and it'd be kind of pointless for
you to meet up with us."
"Ok, well, that's at least 3 weeks then. . ." Jason started to frown.
"Unless, where're you going after here?"
	"Missouri, why?"
"Cuz, maybe I can come down, at least for a day or two?"
"That'd be great! But we're going to get spoiled you know. . ."
	"How's that?"
"Well, it'll only be like 24 hours since we'd seen each other and we'll
be together again, where as, after that point, it's going to be around three
weeks. . ."
"Oh. Yeah I know, but at least if we make it through the first 24 hours,
and then we get together again, we'll be stronger for the long time. I don't
think I could make it that long on the first try, I'd have to fly out and see
you!"
JC laughed. "Yeah, I'd probably pretend to break my leg so I could
get out of rehearsal and fly back here."
"Well that wouldn't be any good, so this is perfect."
"Yep, but we're only in Missouri for three days, the first one is our
concert."
"Perfect, I'll fly in early the next morning and get my flight out
sometime near when yours leaves for wherever you're going next."
"Alright, and after that we can decide on when we can meet up again.
I'm sorry hun, I wish I wasn't so busy, I'd rather spend my time here."
"Oh hush, you know you love being on tour. And I would never ask
you to give it up for me, so don't even think it. You're going to have fun,
we're going to talk on the phone every night like we promised, and we'll see
each other before we even know it. Besides, in your absence you'll miss me
so much maybe you'll write a song for me!" Jason smiled and winked
suggestively.
"Maybe." JC gave him a deep kiss as he pulled Jason on top of him.

In Lance's room:
"Well that was a good movie, but I'm feeling truly lazy. Do you realize this dancing tonight will be the most exercise we've had since the concert?"
"What about basketball today?" Justin asked, laughing.
"Oh, that, well we kicked some ass anyways, we didn't even need to
put much effort into it." He started laughing as well. "Besides, dancing burns
more energy, we of all people know that! I'm surprised they're letting us get
by without rehearsals for this long, we don't have to dance again until the
concert in Missouri!"
"Hey, speaking of, isn't that where Melanie lives?"
"Yep, I'm going to go pick her up, she's staying at the hotel with us
and coming to the show, cool, huh?"
"Oh yeah." Justin suddenly became very depressed. `God, when he's
together with this Melanie chick he's going to forget I even exist. . .'
"You'll have to come out to dinner with us after the concert, she's the
best, I can't wait for you guys to get to know her better!"
`Well, at least he's including me to start with, but once they're together
he'll probably forget all about me. . .' Justin sighed.
"Yeah, I'm sick of laying around, too, J. Let's get dressed? It's
almost 7:00pm."
"Sounds cool, Scoop." Justin got up. "See if you can't do something
about this hair while I'm gone, I don't want to be embarrassed." He started
laughing as he ran his fingers through Lance's hair that had dried wild and
untamed.
"What? I'm going for that natural, flowing look?" Lance acted
shocked and hurt, touching his hair.
"Go for the gel man, you need it!" Justin started laughing and Lance
through a pillow at him, managing contact with the back of his head just
before he walked out. "Thanks a lot!"
Laughing, Lance got up and walked into the bathroom, getting ready.

In Jason's apartment:
"So," Jason said, plopping down on the couch next to JC and laying
his head in his lap, "what exactly is in your bag of goodies in the fridge
for dinner?"
"You seriously can't be hungry already? It's only like 7. . ." JC
started laughing as Jason looked at him with puppy dog eyes.
"Ok, I admit it, I'm hungry, too."
Jason laughed. "Nah, I'm not really, just curious is all. . .though
I must admit since I met you I've eaten more than in the past month I
think."
It was JC's turn to laugh. "Well when you tour constantly, you work
up an appetite. Then the appetite never leaves you."
"Oh, I see. So what do you want to do tonight?"
"Lay here with you?" JC asked it, hoping for a quiet night in
Jason's arms.
"Sounds absolutely perfect." Jason jumped up and out of JC's arms,
much to his disappointment.
"Where're you going? I thought we were going to stay in?"
"We are. . ." Jason ran off and grabbed some things from the other
room. Re-entering the living room he put new candles in the holder, poured
each of them a glass of wine and turned his cd player on, set to soft
music. For the last touch he hit a button on his remote and the lights
dimmed.
"Ooh, do we entertain a lot?" JC teased, laughing as Jason sat back
down next to him.
Jason chose to ignore the comment. "Now we're ready for a night
in."
"I couldn't be more happy." JC kissed his forehead lightly and
stroked his hair.

In the hallway:
"Yeah I know exactly what you mean!" Justin said, laughing along
with Lance as they approached his hotel room door. 'God tonight's been so
much fun. . .'
"Yeah, well. . .it's like 3 am. . ." Lance was kind of tired but he
wasn't quite ready to wind down and go to bed yet. 'Maybe Justin will want
to hang out for a little while longer. . .'
"Yeah, I know what you mean, we should get some sleep." Justin
said, interpreting his comment the wrong way. 'Well, one night at a time,
J. . .besides, it's silly to think he'd want to hang out at 3am. . .'
'Oh, he's tired. . .well there goes that idea. . .' "Yeah, well,
see you tomorrow Justin."
"Good night Scoop." Justin said, waving as he put his key card in
his door.
	"Yeah Curly, sweet dreams."
'Sweet dreams? Of course I'll have wonderful dreams. . .' Justin
walked into his room, letting the door slam behind him as he laid his head
back against it, thinking of his evening.

*** All night long he and Lance had danced together, showing off in front
of each other, and not once breaking away to dance with someone else,
despite many offers on both sides. Lance had been the first one who'd been
asked to dance, but he was in the middle of showing Justin a new step he'd
thought of and politely declined. Every time after that Justin had
declined, as had Lance, and Justin was in heaven. No one had even
recognized them so they were left in relative peace to dance alone.

***

Justin sighed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. When
he'd finished he lay in his bed, quietly thinking about Lance and the way
his goofy smile had popped on his face each time Justin was trying to make
him laugh. Most of the time it was stupid, but Lance still laughed and
smiled, making Justin's heart melt.
As Justin's thoughts skipped to earlier in the evening, when Lance
had been wearing only a towel he'd almost lost, Justin rolled onto his
back. Reaching with one hand to shut off the light, his other hand slid
down his silk boxers to the growing bulge in his pants as he closed his
eyes.

In Lance's room:
Lance shut the door behind him quietly and walked into the shower,
stripping off his clothes as he went. 'That was fun, I haven't goofed off
like that since I was kid, not caring what anyone thought of me. . .' Lance
sighed, content and happy as he hummed to himself and got in the shower.
When he got out he debated calling Melanie, but realized it was way
too late and despite her insistence she needed to sleep in. With nothing
better to do, Lance crawled under the covers, looking at the ceiling and
thinking about Justin. 'He didn't even make fun of my dancing once all
night, like the guys usually do. . .he even thought my new step idea was
decent. . .' Lance closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

In Jason's apartment:
After talking for hours JC and Jason finally got up, deciding they
should get some sleep. As they walked to the bedroom they had their arms
wrapped around each other's waists, and Jason began undoing JC's pants. By
the time they entered the bedroom, both of them merely needed to step out
of their clothes and get under the covers. As Jason laid his head on JC's
chest, he looked up in his eyes and gave him a deep kiss.
JC leaned his head back as Jason started to kiss his neck and lick
his earlobe lightly. Moaning in pleasure, JC closed his eyes, tracing his
hand in circles on Jason's bare back.
Jason stopped licking JC's ear briefly but before JC could open his
eyes he felt Jason's mouth roaming down his chest and sucking on his
nipples, causing JC to shudder. Noticing this, Jason moved once more, this
time down to JC's stomach, his mouth kissing and sucking it while his hands
traced up and down JC's sides.
JC felt Jason move once more and his eyes popped open in shock,
seeing Jason with his head right above his boxers, which were straining
against the bulge that he'd caused to form. Jason was looking up at him and
met his eyes.
"Do you mind?" Jason asked, quietly.
"Are you sure you want to?"
	"Yes, I'm sure."
	"Then I don't mind."

In Justin's room:
Justin opened his door to find Lance standing there.
"Um, hey Lance. . ?" Justin said, sleepily, wiping the tiredness
from his eyes.
"Oh, were you sleeping?" Lance asked, embarrassed.
"Well, yeah, but I wasn't really aware of it, I wasn't tired,
must've just been a dream. Do you want to come in?"
"Well, if you were sleeping. . ."
"No it's cool, come on in."
"Oh, ok, it's just, I couldn't sleep. At least not very well."
"Yeah, exactly what I mean. Wanna watch some TV?"
	"Sure thing."
"Alright, pull up a spot on the bed, it's more comfortable than the
couch in this room."
"Oh, cool." Lance said, sitting on the bed and wrapping a blanket
around his legs.
"So what do you want to watch?"
"Oh it doesn't really matter to me. . ."
They started flipping through stations when they came across Comedy
Central and started watching a stand up comic. Laughing hysterically, they
began to imitate the comic during the commercial break, causing themselves
to laugh even harder.
Justin started to do a bad impression so Lance groaned, causing
Justin to smack him with a pillow.
"Oh, you think you're so much better than me, Scoop?"
"As a matter of fact, yes I do." Lance started laughing again.
Justin went to shove Lance off the bed, but Lance intercepted his
arm, grabbing it and pulling Justin down towards him in the process. Their
eyes met once more, and this time Lance leaned in, closed his eyes and
parted his lips slightly. As he felt Justin's lips touch his own Lance felt
a shiver run down his spine.

Lance woke up with a start, shaking. The blankets had fallen off
him in the middle of the night and the A/C was on. Grabbing the blankets
close to his chin and closing his eyes, only then did Lance realize what
he'd just dreamt. As it came back to him, he sat up straight once more,
looking around the room.
'Whoa. . .' As Lance squinted at the clock to see what time it was,
his mind wouldn't comprehend anything. When he finally recognized it to say
5:40 he laid back down on his pillow and closed his eyes, shaking his head
in confusion. Eventually he forced his mind to put it at rest so he could
get some sleep, and resolved to figure out what the dream meant in the
morning.

***

As Lance opened his eyes, the sun shone right into them, causing
him to groan. Rolling over and looking at the clock he sat straight
up. 'Geez, JC would be proud of me, it's after noon!'
Pulling on some flannel pants over his boxers and a t-shirt, he
suddenly remembered the dream from the night before. 'Alright, don't go
over analyzing anything, or pretty soon you'll be like Mel. . .besides,
she's probably the reason behind it anyway, always telling you that Justin
is in love with you, which is hard to fathom considering he's straight, and
then by telling you that you're falling for him. . .' Lance sighed and
smiled. He couldn't believe he'd been so stupid in the morning to think the
dream actually meant something.

In Jason's apartment:
Jason woke up and looked into JC's eyes which were staring at him.
"What did I fall asleep in something?"
"No, you're just adorable while you sleep."
"Oh, is that all. Yeah, I knew that."
JC laughed. "Good, I'm glad you knew, but I'm going to keep telling
you over and over again."
Jason blushed. "Thank you, sweetie." He leaned up to give him a
kiss on the cheek, but JC turned his head just in time to get a peck on the
lips.
"Mmm, I've been waiting 20 minutes for you to wake up and do that."
"Oh well then by all mean, allow me to give you something that was
worth waiting for," Jason stated, giving him a more passionate kiss.
"Well, not quite a ten but I suppose it was worth the wait." JC
laughed and hopped out of bed before Jason could catch him.
	"Hey!"
"Just kidding hun." JC turned around and wrapped his arms around
Jason who'd chased him out of bed. They hugged, and then JC turned to walk
toward the kitchen with Jason's arms still around him.
"Let's see, you did breakfast yesterday, but I'm doing dinner
tonight?"
Jason laughed and started to walk toward the cupboard.
"No, I'm just kidding, let me make you breakfast, what do you
want?"
	"I dunno, surprise me."
JC decided on blueberry pancakes. As he was cooking them, Jason set
the table then sat down and thought about a question he'd forgotten to
mention to JC the previous night.
	"Say Josh?"
	"Yeah?"
"Do you, um, well think there's something going on between Justin
and Lance?"
"No they seemed fine yesterday, looked like friends to me. Besides,
I think Justin wouldn't have invited Lance if they're been in an argument
or anything. . ." JC said, confused, then turning back to his food.
"Huh? Oh no. . .you misunderstood me. I mean do you think there's
something going ON between Justin and Lance? Like something kind of like
you and I?"
JC dropped his spatula. "What?" He sputtered, completely in shock.
"Well, they seem kind of close, and from what you've told me of
Lance, I could definitely see him being gay. That leaves Justin, and I know
how hyper he is firsthand but around Lance he's overly hyper and yet
completely content and hanging on Lance's EVERY word. Not that the kid's
not polite, but you can tell when he's not interested in a topic, he kind
of tunes out, still listening but not really comprehending, with Lance he
focuses in on every syllable."
'Lance, gay? He couldn't be. . .and neither could Justin!' "I don't
think so hun, I mean they've just grown attached this past week. J and I
have always been close, and so have Chris and Joey, but Lance was never
really involved in a close friendship with any of us. So when Justin was
kind of left out because I've been with you, and Lance was there, they kind
of clicked."
'That's what I'm thinking, but I think they clicked more than you
or I could imagine. . .' "I suppose." Jason decided to let the subject
drop, JC looked agitated suddenly thinking about these new
circumstances. "Besides, I don't see Justin being gay, he seems too
hyperactive when it comes to your female fans."
	JC laughed. "That's Justin alright."

In Justin's room:
Justin woke up slowly, rolling over and being struck by
sunlight. He started to groan, thought of Lance, and began to smile,
kicking the covers off. By the time he'd hopped in the shower he was
humming to himself and smiling broadly.
'Hmm, what to do today?' Justin was getting dressed and debating
whether or not to call Lance. 'If I at least have a plan it won't look too
pathetic to call him. . .'
Suddenly there was a knock at his door. Smiling, Justin ran over to
it, expecting Lance. As he threw the door open he was shocked to see Joey
and Chris standing there. As he opened his mouth to speak, they were both
pushing him back in the room and talking.
"So, we decided to go shopping, and thought to ourselves, 'Who's
the one person who'd love nothing more than to join us in a shopping spree?
Justin of course! So here we are, grab your shoes and your wallet and let's
go!"
Justin shook his head but thought it best not to argue. 'Besides,
you haven't hung out with the guys in forever. . .' Grabbing his shoes, a
hat and sunglasses, Justin followed Chris and Joey out the door, asking
them where they were going to shop.
The guys all piled into the limo and set off towards the
mall. There was a long silence at first, Justin wasn't used to hanging
around Chris and Joey alone, so he didn't know what to say.
"Um, so are you guys excited to go to Missouri?" Justin asked
lamely, hating the silence.
"Definitely not excited to get back to work." Chris said, laughing.
"Yeah, I think the only one of us who's excited about going back is
Lance, bet he can't wait to be with his girlfriend."
	Justin almost choked. "What?"
"Yeah, what's her name? Melissa? Melody? OH! Melanie. . .yeah,
that's it." Chris said, excited that he'd remembered.
"Oh, she's not his girlfriend." Justin said, relaxing.
"Says who? That's the biggest crock I've ever heard!" Joey said,
laughing.
"Yeah," Chris started in, "I mean he talks to her on the phone
every day almost, he sends her tons of stuff, flowers and presents all the
time. He's always trying to keep the phone calls private from us, and once
when I was in his room he was on the phone with her he's like, 'Yeah, I'm
sorry, too, sweetie, I love you so much.' You're telling me that they're
not going out, they'd just been a big fight I bet! A lover's quarrel."
Chris and Joey both started laughing as Justin sat in shock, thinking about
Lance.
"They're not dating, though!" Justin said, a little loudly.
"Geez J, settle down. Besides, how would you know? He's obviously
trying to keep it a secret from all of us. . ." Chris said, receiving a nod
from Joey.
"I just, I just know that's all. He's not going out with her."
"Well, whatever, bet he'll be the only happy one to be leaving
here. You know you'll never get a happy vote from JC." Joey said.
Chris shot him a severe look, silently telling him to shut his
mouth. "Yeah, we know JC's having so much fun hanging out with his new
friend Jason, getting shown the town and all."
"Yeah, exactly what I meant." Joey said, a confused look on his
face as he glanced at Chris.
Justin decided he'd had enough of that conversation and started
talking about a movie. Glad to be out of the situation, Chris and Joey both
joined in happily and soon the conversation was forgotten. Except by
Justin, who was now carefully trying to remember every word he'd heard
Lance say to Melanie in the past week. 'C'mon, Lance SAID he was gay, he
wouldn't be lying about it. . .some gay guys can be attracted to women
though, and if he is kind of just dating Melanie, then I may not get a
chance with him. . .'

In Lance's room:
Lance had sat down, watching TV but partially waiting for Justin to
call. 'Hmm, he must be doing his own thing. . .' Lance pulled out some
paperwork, got bored fast, and decided to catch up in his book. Still
dressed in his pjs he curled up in bed with a book he'd started at the last
stop and started reading.

To Be Continued.

Send all comments to jas_stories@hotmail.com. Well, sorry it took longer
this time, I got a little busier than I thought I would be, but I'm going
to work on the next installment over Thanksgiving, if I get some spare
time. I actually could have kept writing on this installment, but now even
I am getting impatient. Do you realize it's been almost 6 months since I
started writing, and in the story it's only been a week and a half? Not
that I would've wanted to write it any other way, even if I'd planned
ahead. But anyway, for those of you who e mailed me with a question of
time, and just exactly what's going on, it's Thursday afternoon, where I
just ended this installment. N'sync is leaving town Tuesday morning,
Kelly's party is Saturday, and that's about it. For people who wanted to
know exactly when it is, I'm not giving it any particular time period, but
you can pretend that it's sometime near the present when all of this
happening, ok? Next item of business, because I'm so damn impatient, the
next installment is going to jump right into sometime Saturday (so don't
get confused, alright?). So hope you enjoyed, as always let me know what
you thought. And aren't I just the biggest tease? Letting you think it was
actually going to start getting sexual. *smile* We all know what happened,
but it's more fun to use your imagination then for me to describe
details. Have a happy holiday, til next time. . .
