Subject: JC & Jas Part 8

Disclaimer: I am not assuming anything about the lives of anyone in this
story. Many may wish things to be true, but who knows so don't be offended,
just enjoy. If you're UNDER 18, stop reading this, and all that other legal
stuff.

This is my first attempt, and I know this story lacks sexual adventures,
give it time, I want them to get to know eachother first, okay?

"Jason? Jason, sweetie, c'mon, get up!"
"What? Why?" Jason mumbled, half asleep as he struggled to tune out
the beautiful voice summoning him to open his eyes.
"Jason? C'mon, if I don't show up for group breakfast again this
morning the guys are going to get real mad! I'm surprised they didn't
complain yesterday!"
Jason opened his eyes to see JC less than a foot away, a pleading
look in his gorgeous eyes. "Well who can argue with your sweet face?" he
said, giving JC a quick kiss on the lips, "except, I don't want to go home,
so can't I just stay and sleep while you do the business thing?"
"Nuh-uh, you brought me to your meeting yesterday, you get to join
in on this one today!" JC said, smiling still from the kiss.
"But, JC, what're the guys gonna say about me being around for
breakfast?"
"Oh relax, our hotel is far enough away from your appartment to
justify you crashing here after a late night, now c'mon!"
"Fine, fine, I'll get up. Don't mind the fact that I'm TIRED, or
that you kept me up talking til 4am. . .no, it's QUITE alright that it's,"
he checked the table clock and groaned, "7:15 a.m.?" he questioned. "It
can't possibly be that early?"
"Yes it is," JC said, getting up and heading towards the bathroom,
"breakfast is at 8 a.m. we don't have much time."
"Much time?" he said to the closing door. "What do you do to
yourself? I can get ready in 15 minutes flat!" and with the sound of the
shower starting Jason promptly put a pillow over his head and went back to
sleep.

In Justin's room:
	*Beep, Beep, Beep*
Justin smacked at the clock with his fist. `Stupid alarm.'
"Shut up!" he yelled as his fist made contact with the snooze
button and he rolled over. `You know you didn't make it to yesterday's
breakfast meeting, and you didn't see the guys all day yesterday, they must
be pissed. You should probably show today. . .'
"Stupid conscience." Justin mumbled as he got out of bed and headed
towards the shower.

In JC's room:
	"Jason?!"
"Wha, What?!" Jason yelled, sitting up quickly to see a smirking JC
in only a bath towel. "That was mean," he started, staring at JC's
glistening body, wishing the towel to accidentally fall off, "you could
have just whispered in my ear nicely, like you did earlier, you know."
By this time JC was outright laughing at the pathetic look on
Jason's face. "I could have, but this is far more fun!" He struggled to get
the words out.
"I'm sure it is, you jerk!" Jason said, throwing a pillow at him.
"Well it worked, didn't it? You can go ahead and shower now, I
forgot to bring my clothes in, so I'll change out here."
"Oh, I don't get to watch?" Jason put on his most seductive voice
and ended it with a pout.
"No you don't, we don't have time." JC said back, giving him a
quick kiss as he pulled him off the bed.
Jason wasn't going to leave it just at that, and he pulled JC in
for a deeper kiss. As they continued, Jason started roaming his hands up
and down JC's back, almost knocking the towel off. As they started really
getting into it, they were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Oh hell." JC said, walking towards it.
"JC? C'mon man, it's Chris. Are you coming to breakfast today, or
is everyone gonna ditch Joey and me for the third day in a row?"
Jason walked into the bathroom to shower as JC opened the door.
"Wow, it lives! Joey and I thought for sure you were dead, and we
were almost positive Justin and Lance were, but at least they checked in
with us last night. We haven't seen you since the club two nights ago."
"Yeah, I've been busy, but we're coming to breakfast in a bit."
	"We?"
"Oh yeah, Jason was over last night, we were up late so he crashed
here, figured I better show up to breakfast on concert day."
"Yeah, I was gonna drag you down anyways if you didn't want to.
Bad luck not to hang out before the big day. Besides, we have rehearsals at
11am, so it's not like you'd have much time to yourself beforehand anyway.
Well, glad you're up, gonna go gather up the other two, meet in Joey's
room, kay?"
"Not a problem, we'll be down by 8."
"Good deal." Chris said, heading towards Lance's room.

In Lance's room:
Lance walked away from the door to finish getting ready. He had
been up since 6 a.m., completely not needing Chris' wake up call, but he
was glad that him and Joey weren't upset about the day before.
He finished gelling his hair and looked in the mirror. `Well,
concert day again, and for once I'm excited.' Lance smiled at himself. He'd
had a wonderful nights' sleep, the first time in weeks without a nightmare
of any sort, but above that, he dreamt about himself and Justin at the mall
earlier that day.

In the hallway:
"JUSTIN?!! C'mon J, I KNOW you're in there! Get outta bed and come
down to breakfast!"
Justin opened the door and walked out, much to Chris' surprise.
	"You're ready!?"
"Of course man, breakfast has gotta be there by now and I'm
starving!" Justin smiled as he walked past Chris.
"Bull man, nothin gets you outta bed so early in the morning, not
even food, what gives?"
Justin started to laugh. "I figured since it is concert day and we
need to get to rehearsals I shouldn't hold us up."
"Awfully nice of you, since you usually don't give a crap."
"Yeah well, thought I'd be considerate today since. . .oh hey
Lance!" Justin called as he saw the blond coming out of his room.
"What's up Curly? You're in an awfully great mood for it being
before 8am!"
"Can't a guy be in a good mood?"
Lance just looked at him then smiled to Chris. "I know why he's in
a good mood."
"Oh really?" Chris asked, curious of the smile Lance had.
"Yep, it's cuz of last night!"
Justin just stopped in his tracks. `Lance couldn't possibly know
about last night. . .how could he? Besides, I was just tired anyways, I
didn't mean to picture Lance. . .'
	"What went on last night?"
"Oh, this pretty waitress was totally hitting on him so he thought
he was pretty hot shit."
	`Jesus, that's what he's talking about.'
"Oh I see!" Chris said as they reached Joey's room.
	"Hey guys, what's going on?"
Jason and JC were already in there, starting on their
breakfasts. They both kept looking at eachother but knew they couldn't do
anything about it, even though they were sitting kind of close.
"Hi Jason!" Lance said, going over and grabbing a plate. "What's up
man? What are you doing here?"
"Oh, JC and I were watching movies and just hangin out late last
night, so I crashed here."
"Cool. You're coming to the concert tonight, right?"
"I wouldn't miss it! Gotta here what you guys sound like. I've been
told by every female under the sun that your music is," he cleared his
throat for the desired pitch and proceeded in a high voice, "totally the
best and to die for!" He finished, laughing hysterically.
"Yeah, you just make fun of us now, you'll be a screaming fan by
the end of the night, too man!" Chris called from the table as he stacked
his plate full.
"Sure thing man, I just `totally go for that cuz ohmigod, Justin is
SO fine'" Jason looked over at JC and saw him trying to laugh but could see
he was upset he said Justin instead. "Oh and who could forget, "JC's voice
is so overwhelming, I just LOVE him to death! And shh, don't tell him this
but, he's got a cute butt, too!'" Jason burst out in hysterical laughter at
his high pitched impressions, but he threw JC a look at the same time,
making JC feel warm inside.
"Well, whatever man, you coming to rehearsals, too?" Lance asked,
sitting in the chair next to them.
"Nah, I don't think so. I gotta run into the office for a while,
make sure some business went well." Jason said, glancing over to see JC's
disappointed look.
"Is there any way I can get some sort of pass so I can drop by as
soon as I'm done?"
"I don't think so," Joey said with his mouth full, "they're using
their own security so I don't even know how to start."
	JC's look was down-right depressing.
"Well, how long do rehearsals take?"
"Well, we'll get there at 11 and do warm-ups and stuff with a
trainer, our usual one is on tour with the Backstreet Boys right now, so
we'll prob be out for lunch by 12:30 or so." Justin informed him, sitting
next to Lance.
"Cool, how long do ya get for lunch?"
	"An hour and a half."
"Great, I'll drop by the arena and pick ya'll up for lunch, my
treat!"
"I don't think ya know what you're getting yourself into," JC spoke
for the first time since their conversation had started, "we can pack away
a lot of food after warm ups."
"No problem. I got my credit card."
"All right then, if you insist, we're never ones to pass up a free
meal!" Chris said enthusiastically.
"Well, if you all will excuse me, I need to run home quick and grab
my briefcase before going in to work so I should be on my way."
"I'll walk ya out!" JC said quickly.
They left the room and went out into the hallway, talking quietly
as they waited for the elevator.
"Hey guys, ya should see the cool watch I got at the mall
yesterday. . ." Lance was saying to the guys in the room.
"Go get it Scoop, don't keep us in suspense!" Joey said, stuffing
more food in his mouth.
"Alright, alright." Lance said, getting up.
As he opened the door and walked into the hallway he could faintly
hear voices, so he turned the other way and walked towards the elevators,
wondering who was on his floor. Just as he turned the corner he finally
remembered Jason and JC were out there, but as luck would have it he didn't
remember soon enough. Before he had the chance to head back towards his
room he glimpsed something he'd never thought he would see. Jason and JC
were kissing eachother goodbye!
Lance quickly turned on his heels around the corner and then ran
the short distance to the other hallway and around that corner and leaned
against the wall. `I. . .I. . .I can't believe. . .JC was. . .JC is
g. . .Oh mi god. . .' Lance quickly went into his room and lay on his bed,
thinking.

In Joey's room:
"Wonder what's taking Scoop so long?" Justin asked, just as the
door swung open. "Oh there he. . .oh it's just JC."
"Glad to see you, too, Curly!" JC said, laughing.
"Oh shut up, I just thought ya were Lance. Anyways, I'm done
eating, JC will ya come back to my room with me for a bit?"
	"C'mon Justin, ya're a big boy, I think you'll be fine."
Justin gave him a look. "I just wanted your help in picking out an
outfit to wear, I bought new workout clothes yesterday." He lied.
JC caught on that Justin wanted to have his talk now. "Oh cool,
yeah lead the way. We'll catch ya guys at the back entrance say 10:20?"
	"Sure thing!"
JC and Justin walked over to Justin's room and entered.
	"So. . .?" Justin began.
"So. . .?" JC asked back, playing dumb.
"Don't bother JC, just come out with it. What's going on with you
and the kid?"
"Kid? He's older than you Curly."
"Oh hush, ya know what I mean."
"Oh Justin," JC started, flopping down on his bed and looking at
the ceiling, "I'm in love!"
	"I'm sure you are JC!"
"No, for real J, we had a big fight yesterday, and he came back,
and he told his best friend, his BEST FRIEND that he'd rather be with me
then listen to her tell him we're not good for eachother."
	"Well, that's a good sign, I think."
"Oh it is! Last night we just sat up all night talking and he fell
asleep on my shoulder, it was great! Justin I've never been so happy!"
"Well I can see that, and from the puppy dog looks he was sending
you this morning I'd say the feelings more than mutual."
"You really think so? I mean, he says he loves me, and I believe
it, but I didn't know if maybe I was just going overboard. . ."
"Definitely not. Well, it's great to see you so utterly happy
Josh."
	"I am, I really am."
	"So. . .?"
	"So. . .what now?"
"So. . .are you going to keep your promise now?"
"What promise?" JC said, playing dumb again.
"You know what promise, the promise you made to me when you came
out to me. You said you'd tell the other guys when you'd found someone you
truly loved and cared about to tell them about."
"Yeah, I know, I was just hoping you'd forgotten."
"They're not going to care Josh."
"I know J, you keep telling me that, but I just, I don't know
yet. Soon I promise, but we've only known eachother a few days, and I'm
totally in love, but the guys might think it's infatuation or something,
once we've been together a little while I'll be sure to tell them, ok?"
"All right I guess. Now c'mon, let's go, we have a concert to get
to!"

In Lance's room:
`I can't even believe. . .I need to talk to someone!' Lance quickly
dialed the phone.
	"Hello?"
	"Hi. . ."
"Hi sweetie! God, been forever since you called me, good vacation?"
	"Horrible."
"Oh I'm sorry darling, what's happened?"
	"JC's gay."
	"WHAT!!??"
	"Yeah, he's gay."
"How'd you find out? And why is this so horrible? Isn't this what
you've always wanted?!"
"No it's not, I found out because I. . ." Lance started crying.
"Oh hon, I'm sorry, shhh, it's alright, just tell Mel all bout it!"
Lance had met Melanie over a year ago after a concert in
Missouri. They had instantly clicked and kept in contact after Lance left
town. Lance called her every other day, if not every day, just to keep her
updated. More than six months ago he had been on vacation and went to
Missouri to visit her. While there he told her the truth about himself and
how he felt about JC. She was the only one who knew how much he loved him.
"I. . .I saw him kissing another guy!"
	"WHAT?!"
"Yeah, some guy we met at a basketball court the other day. He was
really cool, and now he. . .he stole JC away from me, I can't believe it!"
"Shh, Lance calm down. Now sweetie, I'm going to comfort you, I
promise, but right now I have to tell you this so you don't get mad, he
didn't `steal' JC away from. . ."
"I know, I know!" Lance interrupted. "I was stupid, I should have
told him my feelings, that's what hurts so bad about it all. I could've had
a CHANCE Mel! He may have gone for me! I'll never know now!"
"Nonsense dear, he may not be with this guy for long!"
	"I know, but still I. . ."
"Look, don't sit around and wait for him, ok? I've told you this
before, if he doesn't realize how great you are and come to you, then don't
get worked up about it cuz it's his loss, and now that he's gay he really
has lost out cuz he could've had your love. I know you don't like hearing
it, but keep your eyes open and move on to love someone else."
	"I know, I know."
"Good, now do me a BIG favor?"
	"What's that hon?"
	"Smile for me."
Lance couldn't help but smile, he always did when she asked
him. "Thanks Mel, you're the best."
"I always know how to keep a smile on your face."
"Yeah, make me those awesome brownies of yours!"
"Is that all I am to you?" Melanie whined.
"No, you give excellent back rubs, too!"
"Hey now, better watch it or you just might be in a good mood!"
"Yeah, well. I WAS in a great mood before I came to my lil,
discovery I guess."
"Well, go back to that place. You have a concert tonight, don't
you?"
	"Yeah. . ."
"Well put on a great show and call me tonight when it's done!"
Lance always called Melanie after every show to tell her what he
screwed up on and what he did great on. Just details in general really.
	"Alright, and Mel?"
	"Yeah sweetie?"
"Thanks a lot. I love ya!"
"Love ya, too, doll! Now get off the phone and go have some fun for
me!"
	"'Kay bye girl!"
	"Bye!"
Lance went into the bathroom and washed the tears off his
face. `Maybe this thing with Jason will just be a fling. I mean, with the
tour and all, it'll be hard for them to keep in touch. But if he does
anything to hurt JC before then, so help me god. . .' Lance suddenly heard
a loud knock at his door.
"Scoop?! What happened to the watch man?" Chris asked through the
door.
Lance opened the door quickly. "Sorry about that, had to make a
phone call."
"Well hurry up, we gotta meet the guys downstairs in 5 minutes."
