Joey's Super Hero - Chapter 17

* Waco, TX - Outside of the Dance Club Downtown *

"What!!! It can't be, not her!" Justin said as he grabbed the magazine from
Magna's hand.

"Look lady, Christina isn't a witch and she isn't gay!" JC shouted.

(<Booom>)

At that very moment there was a puff of smoke and a loud exploding
sound. Everyone looked around, trying to locate the source of the
disturbance, but no luck. After the smoke cleared, there stood Christina
Augilera all dressed in black.

"Really Josh, the last time I checked, I don't remember seeing you in my
bed!" Christina said as she waved here hands and everyone went crashing
into a wall.

"Omfff! That hurt!, My turn...I hope you like a mouth full of solar energy,
because that's what you're gonna get!" Tyler shouted as he jumped up and
started zapping at her.

Christina stood there and laughed at Tyler, as his energy beams passed
right through her body, not touching her at all.

"What, my energy beams had no effect on her. JT, your turn, see what you
can do to put her down!" Tyler shouted.

"Isalu Askomi Laschi!!!" Christina shouted as vines sprouted out of the
ground and started wrapping around everyone outside.

"Okay, we have a problem, she's speaking Latin, she's using ancient magic,
Magna, what have you gotten yourself into?" JT asked as he tried using his
Psychic Sword against the vines with no luck.

"JT help me, this thing is too tight, I can't breathe honey!" Joey shouted
as JT teleported out of the grasp of the vines and reappeared in front of
Joey, only to be grabbed by another vine.

"These things just won't quit, I must do something to null her spell, or
find a way to get us all free." JT said as he waved his hands and started
glowing.

Christina looked at JT as though she was seeing a star forming, he was
glowing so bright. She continued watching until she knew what he was
doing. Christina floated over to Joey and JT and grabbed him and he let out
a painful scream that could be heard across the dimensions.

"What are you doing to my brother bitch!!!" Magna shouted as she tried to
touch Christina and was zapped in the other direction.

"What is she doing to JT, he is screaming like someone is ripping out his
soul!?!" Lance spoke as the sky started to get bright and a hole started to
open there.

"I have waited a long time for this, I have found the Chosen One, I have
found the last human on this planet that has the power to control the
Earthly Gateways!" Christina shouted as she continued to hold onto JT's
face, as though she was draining him of his life energy.

"Get off of him Christina, you are hurting him and I won't allow it!" Joey
said as he punched her in the face.

"Mr. Fatone, you will regret ever doing that to me, you will pay for that!"
Christina said as she used her other hand and grabbed Joey's face and he
started screaming like JT.

Christina stood there with a smile on her face. She had a powerful mutant
in her clutches that would allow her to have access to the Earthly Gateways
and she had one of her most hated enemies in her grasp, which seemed to
have a power of his own. She stood there while Hank, Tyler, Michura and
Barbara trying multiple times without success trying to penetrate her
magical forcefield. Things were starting to look bad until, JT stopped
screaming and spoke.

"Joey, Joey are you okay? Joey, can you hear me? Joey!" JT spoke without
getting a response to his query.

"He can't hear you handsome, for a black guy, you sure are cute. If I would
have met you a couple of years ago before I changed over, I would have
loved to have some fine with you. But, lover boy here can't hear a word you
are sayiny!" Christina said as she let go of Joey and tossed him to the
ground.

"What have you done to him? What are you trying to do to me, let me go, you
don't know what you are doing!" JT shouted.

"Well actually, I do know what I am doing, and I drained him of his energy,
and I am doing the same to you, since you are a mutant, the process is
taking a little longer. When I am done draining your energy, I will use
that power of yours to open up the heavens, and bring forth the Apocalypse,
to cleanse the world!" Christina said as she continued to hold onto JT.

"NO! I won't let you! COSMIC STAR PRISM POWER!!!!" JT screamed and his body
was surrounded by a blinding flash of light.

Christina looked away as the light was too blinding for her to look at, she
closed her eyes and she could still see the light. Once the light had
faded, JT and Joey were gone. Christina looked all around, but didn't see
the two at all. What she did see was ten new people standing in front of
her with glowing eyes.

"What's going on here? Where did those two go? Who are those people there?"
Christina shouted.

"Christina, you have done a bad thing, now you must be punished for it." JT
said as he came into view of the others.

"Who are you, and what kind of punishment do you think you can inflict on
me?" Christina laughed as she asked the questions.

"I am Legacy Saturn, and they are Legacy Chosen. You have committed a crime
against the Earth, a crime that threatened to destroy the planet. That
cannot be overlooked, you will be taken into custody and you will stand
trial before the Elders of the Universe." JT said as he walked over to
Christina and touched her and enclosed her body within a telekinetic
bubble.

"JT what's going on? What happened to you and where's Joey?" Justin asked
as he looked hard at the new clothing JT was wearing.

"I will explain all of this later but, Joey's right over their beside
Princess Neptune." JT said as he pointed in Joey's direction.

***** Flashback *****

"Elders why is Joey glowing like that? As soon as he entered the castle,
his body started glowing? Does he recognize that he's glowing, because he
hasn't said anything about it." JT asked the Elders of the Universe.

"My child, as like you, Joey is a special child of light as well. In the
days to come, he will be awakened to his true qualities and his true
destiny." The Elders spoke.

"His true qualities and destiny? What does that mean?" JT asked.

"It means this, Joey is a chosen one like yourself. In the days to come,
something will happen to make him take his place among the other Chosen
Ones, and when he does, he will not what he is needed for in his life, he
will not what his destiny is, he will not what his true qualities
are. Right now Joey Fatone has one dream and that dream is to be a
successful singer, he has forgotten about all of his other dreams that he
use to have as a child, before stardom." The Elders spoke.

"Are you saying that Joey isn't destined to be a singer?" JT asked.

"Joey is destined to be a singer, but he is also destined to be so much
more. In the time that it took us to make things happen to bring you two
together, we knew that when everything was put in to place that Legacy
Saturn and Legacy StarHeart would be the two chosen one's to keep order
among the Clan Chosen dynasty." The Elders spoke, but this time, faded away
so JT can ponder all that he had heard.

"I don't believe this! The Elders made all of this crap that has been going
on for the last couple of days happen! Just to introduce me to another
chosen one. Why I ought to..." JT trailed off as the Elders reappeared.

"Prince Saturn, in this time, your kind are not greatly accepted. If you
love Joseph Anthony Fatone, Jr. then you show him that love, and you show
it often, but don't forget that in his mind his current career is what's
important, so he might not see things the way you do, but bear with him,
things will turn around for you, as he realizes and takes on his role as
Prince StarHeart, just be there and show him the love he wants and he will
return that love to you." The Elders spoke and again faded away.

"He's Legacy StarHeart, wow, wait to the others hear about this, they would
think I lost my mind again." JT said as he went off to find Joey in the
castle.
