Joey's Super Hero - Chapter 4

* Chris and Wanda's Room *

"Joey you must understand that we are concerned about this drastic changed,
is there something wrong?" Justin asked.

"Look Curly, there isn't anything wrong with me, okay, leave me alone and
eat!" Joey yelled.

"Okay, guys, if you need anything we will be outside, come on guys..." JT
spoke to his security officers.

* Outside in the hallway *

"JT what's going on? I know you have psi-scaned everyone's mind to see
what's going on, so go ahead and tell us." Barbara spoke.

"Well, I don't know what's going on, I haven't psi-scaned anyone and I am
not going too, unless there is trouble and someone is hiding something. I
don't think Joey changing his hair color constitutes trouble." JT spoke as
he turned to look at Hank.

"What ?!?!?" Hank shouted.

"What's going on with you and Lance? I noticed that Lance has been looking
at you since I have been standing in the room, and it seems his glance
didn't move at all. So did you two sleep together or something or what?" JT
stated.

"No, we haven't done anything. We had a little bit of problems at the
beginning of the night, but I think we solve them and everything is okay."
Hank said.

"Well that's good to hear, at least we know that you will be doing your job
at full potential. Also, I know something about where Mitchell and Ken are
hiding, I had a premonition this morning after speaking to Marek and I
think they are hiding in a small building on the outskirts of town." JT
said as he pulled a notebook out of his pocket.

"Are we going to investigate this JT?" Barbara asked.

"Yes, when the guys are at their photo shoot and interview today, Me and
Wanda are going to teleport to that location and check things out to see
what's going on. During that time, Hank will check out things back at
X-Compound to make sure things are alright there since none of us has
checked in at base recently. Tyler you and Barbara stay with the guys and
if you need too, call in some other security officers to take up the
slack." JT spoke as he saw Justin peeking out of the room waving for them
to come over.

"Is there something wrong Curly?" Barbara asked Justin.

"I don't know what's going on, but Joey just got a strange phone call on
his cell. All I know is Joey answered the phone, and now he's not talking."
Justin said as we ran into the room.

"Joey, what's wrong? What's happening?" JT asked as he tried to get Joey's
attention.

"Tyler grab his phone and check the caller id, Barbara go get Johnny and
Hank, you go do what I told you too earlier, come on people hussle." JT
shouted as he still got no response from Joey.

"Did Joey say anything while he was on the phone?" Wanda asked.

"All he did was say hello, then his face went blank like it is now, like
he's heard some bad news or something." CHris said as he paced back and
forth across the floor.

"Chris, will you please sit down, you are making me nervous." JC said as he
tried to calm Chris down.

"That would be a good idea if everyone calmed down so we can get to the
bottom of this." Lance said as he returned to his seat on the sofa.

"I don't know what was said on the phone, but I am going to find out. Joey,
I don't know if you can hear what I am saying, but you have to talk to me
and tell me what was said." JT spoke, hoping he didn't have to use his
psychic powers to get the answer to the problem.

"He said that....that he was, he was wahhh.....watching me and that he was
gonna have me and when he was dooonnne with me, he was gonna make sure that
no one else does....he's gonna kill me." Joey stuttered out.

"What!!!!!" Justin screamed.

"Was it the same guy that sent us the gifts and kept harassing us on the
phone Joey?" Lance asked.

"Joey, Joey, come on man stay with me, talk, don't fade out on me man." JT
pleaded.

"JT!!! What's going on? I was told that another phone call has been
received. I thought you guys had the problem under control, well didn't
you?" Johnny spoke.

"Johnny, we don't know where these guys are hiding, but I feel that will
change soon. I have gotten some information about the identities of the
people involved and Tyler is checking with the cell phone company about the
phone numbers the calls were received from." JT said as he continued trying
to get Joey's attention.

"JT help me, get those guys for me please...I don't want to die and I don't
want to be his." Joey said with tears in his eyes.

'Gang, I don't know if I can channel all of this fear from him, I can
barely get into his mind, it's like he's gone into lock down or something
with his brain. The plan stays the same, let's just get past this and
continue on with everything else.' JT spoke telepathically to his comrades.

"JT help me please, stop him, before he comes to get me!" Joey shouted.

"Johnny, can the guys cancel the photo shoot and interview today?" JT
asked.

"No they can't, we have already reschedule this shoot and the interview
three times now, we have been here in Texas for four weeks and the guys
have yet to get it done. I don't care what's going on, the guys need to get
that taken care of." Johnny said.

"But Johnny, what if that loon attacks us while we are at the shoot!!" JC
yelled.

"We will be there and I am gonna call in extra security for today and
tonight's concert." JT said.

"But JT..." JC trailed off, when Johnny glared at him.

* X Compound in Jacksonville, FL *

(<Mutant Identify Yourself>)

"Computer, Onyx checking in, security check, Hart one." Hank said as the
computer scanned his body with infrared light.

(<Mutant: Onyx may enter compound.>)

"Computer, is there any other X-Ternal members here in the compound?" Hank
asked the computer.

(<No other members here, Onyx is the only X-Ternal member in the
compound.>)

"Thank you, I will do a walk around through the compound then I will leave
Computer." Hank said as he walked through the corridors of the compound.

* Dallas, Chris and Wanda's Room *

"Well guys let's get your day started, I have called for extra security and
we will make sure that we do what we can to stop these freaks from
bothering you." JT said as he got up to walk towards the door.

"Al'right guys, get moving, you don't want to be late, this shoot and
interview needs to get done today so get to it." Johnny said, as he walked
out of the room.

"That damn jerk is gonna make us do something one day and it's gonna get us
all killed." Chris stated calmly.

"Come on guys, our bodyguards are here, we will be protected." Lance said
as he walked towards the door while pulling JC up off the bed.

"Come on Justin, we don't have all day." Chris said.

* Downstairs in the Limos *

"Hey where are you two going? I thought you were coming with us?" Lance
asked JT and Wanda as they walked towards another car.

"We will be there, we have soemthing to check out first then we will be
right there. Believe me you won't miss us at all." JT said as he and Wanda
walked in the direction of the rental car office.

"Okay guys see you later, JT please don't be long." Joey said as he stepped
inside the limo.

'Okay Wanda when the limo pulls off we go...and also, you make sure that if
I grab Ken again, let me hold on to him without you slicing through my
telekinetic bubble and giving him a way to escape.' JT telepathically said
to Wanda.

"Now..."  JT yelled as he and Wanda disappeared.

(<Splink>)

* Small Building on the Outskirts of Dallas *

"BlackCat over there, grab him and don't let him get away, I will get the
other one!" JT shouted when he saw Poltergeist and Shaman walk away in the
other direction.

"Don't you movvve or I will slice and dice you with my claws." Wanda
growled.

"Shaman stop!!!! What has happened to make you go bad Mitchell?" JT asked.

"Ahhh Psychic Warrior, I was wondering when we were going to put our powers
to the test." Mitchell said as he created a psychic staff.

"Bring it on, I don't want to hurt you Mitchell, but if I have to I
will. For your brother's sake stop this madness. I thought you had given
this lifestyle up?" JT asked as he created a psychic sword.

"It's none of your business what lifestyle I am living...take that!"
Mitchell said as he swing his psychic staff at JT.

"I told you a long time ago that you couldn't beat me, so stop this, and
stop this now." JT said as he rammed his psychic sword into Mitchell's
head.

Mitchell stood there paralyzed as his whole body froze as JT's psychic
sword entered the back of his head. With his psychic sword, JT can use it
to extract information from his opponents mind and as well as leave them
paralyzed for a few minutes or hours. With the added benefit to do wonders
with his psychic sword, JT locked Mitchell's powers away and made him
forget that he had powers. A great way to get rid of the guy that was after
Joey Fatone.

"Okay BlackCat let's run, and get back to the guys. Make sure you have a
good hold of Poltergeist, he's going back with us. He's gonna get arrested
and I am gonna do to him what I did to Shaman over there." JT said as he
grabbed ahold of Wanda's hand and she teleported the three back to location
of the guy's interview.

* N Sync's Interview at NetRadio in Dallas *

"Where is he, he said he wouldn't be long...Where is he?" Joey said as he
continued looking down at his watch.

"Who Joey...Who are you looking for?" JC asked.

"JT, I am waiting on JT, he said he would be here to protect me. Where is
he." Joey said as he looked around the room still no sign of JT.

'I think Joey is loosing it, he's been acting like a lost little puppy
since he got that call and now he's acting like he's going to freak because
JT isn't here. What's going on between those two.' JC thought to himself.

(<Splink>)

"Wanda, let's get the cops here, and when they arrive they can take this
piece of trash into custody." JT said

"JT have you erased his mind and locked his powers?" Wanda questioned.

"Yep, all we need is the cops here to get him and take him in." JT shouted
as Shaman appeared.

"I don't think so Psychic Warrior, put him down BlackCat, or I do to you
what he did to me!" Mitchell shouted.

"I don't think so, Wanda, make sure he gets arrested, I will handle
Shaman....Star Psychic Power!!!!" JT screamed as he began to transform into
his super-powered self.

"Ahhh, now you reveal your true self to us all. Look behind you, seems you
have gathered a crowd, I don't think you can keep your secret from the guys
anymore!" Mitchell laughed as he hurled an energy ball at JT.

(<Booommmm>)

"Psionic Shield!!!! Your energy balls can't cut through my psychic shields
Shaman, just stop while you are ahead. Don't make me do something I am
gonna regret later!" JT shouted as he surrounded himself and the guys of N
Sync within his psychic shield.

(<Booooommm>)

"Where is Joey, I came here to get my Joey and while we are at it, get
Justin over here too so when Ken comes too, he can have his man too!!!"
Mitchell screamed.

"Leave me alone, I am not going anywhere with you!" Joey yelled.

"Hey!!! I am not going anywhere with you either so don't think of it."
Justin remarked.

"Mind and soul shock!!!! (<Swoooshhh>) Stop it Shaman, if I blast you again
you are going down and I am not going to regret it!!!" JT screamed as he
powered up again.

"I don't care what you do, I will have Joey!" Mitchell shouted.

"Look man, I don't know you, I don't like you, why would I want to be with
you...just leave us alone you freak!" Joey screeched out.

"NOOOOO!!! I do love you, you don't know how much I love you, I love you
with all my heart and soul and you will be mine!" (<Bannngggg>)

"JT, JT are you okay?? JT wake up...oh no, he's not moving...oh god, now we
are finished!" Joey said as Shaman grabbed him and held him close.

"Wanda, do something, JT's down, do something, help him, help him!" Justin
shouted.

"Wanda can't help you, I have paralyzed her mind, that's why she isn't
moving, she's as helpless as a newborn kitten! Don't even think about
calling for Tyler or Barabar, I have done the same thing to them too!"

'Where is Hank, I need him, I need him to protect me...' Lance thought to
himself.

'JT please wake up! Oh I wish you would please wake up. I like you and I
want you to wake up so this guy won't get away with hurting me and taking
me away from you, the person I want to try to love. Please wake up JT.'
Joey thought as he continued to struggle within Shaman's arms.

"STOP!!!! I AM THE PSYCHIC WARRIOR,YOU WILL NOT CAUSE ANYMORE HARM HERE
TODAY! YOU HAVE DONE ENOUGH!!!! PSYCHIC MIND ATTACK!!!!!" JT screamed as he
powered up and directed his psychic energy in Shaman's direction.

"NOOO!!! You are supposed to be unconscious, you are not supposed to be
able to move, I used my strongest mind attack on
yoooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!" Mitchell screamed as he felt the full
force of JT's psychic attack on him.

'Joey are you okay? Yes I am speaking to you in your head, just don't
worry, I have you and I will make sure that Shaman doesn't bother you for a
while.' JT telepathically spoke to Joey.

"I knew I wasn't going crazy, I knew you were able to talk to me without
using your mouth." Joey said as he and JT floated down to the ground.

"Well I had to keep my secret so I could better protect you. If you knew I
was a person with special powers, then you would have probably did things
to keep yourself in danger or freaked out and been totally scared of me and
I didn't want any of that to happen." JT explained to Joey as they walked
over to the others.

"So you are a real protector, my super hero." Joey said as he leaned over
and kissed JT full on the lips.
