Joint Affairs - Chapter 12 by JT Poole * The Underground - Atlanta, GA (Day 4) * "Brian, JC and Justin are missing a lot today. This is unbelievable, I never been to a shopping mall that was under the ground." Nick stated. "Well Justin was tired, he decided to stay behind and sleep." Kevin stated. "What about Brian and JC?" Nick asked. "The newlydating decided to spend the day together without us being around. They didn't want anything we could say to ruin any moments they may have." Howie stated. "Would you please stop talking about everyone that is dating! I am not in the mood to hear about it. Damn, you guys act like that is so important." Nick stated walking away from the others. "Nick, Nick are you okay? What's wrong bro?" Kevin asked. "Just leave me alone Kevin, you are not someone I would want to be around right now!" Nick continued walking. "Nick wait, don't go off by yourself, we had to promise that we would all stay together." Kevin stated. "I will go with him, just let him be." Joey stated. "I will call you guys if something happens." "Okay, fine, just be sure nothing happens to him." Kevin stated turning around to join the others. "Nick, Nick please wait up, let me hang with you so nothing happens to you." Joey stated catching up to Nick. "Don't start Joey, I am not in the mood for anything." Nick stated. "I know what you mean. Ever since this tour started I have been feeling outraged by everyone here that keeps talking about love. There are other things to think about than love." Joey stated. "Yeah right Joey, like you don't think about love too. You think about love like I do, we are just two people that no one love." Nick stated as he turned to face Joey. "What do you mean by that Nick?" Joey asked. "Why would you think no one loves me?" "I over heard you talking to Chris before the concert yesterday Joey. You are feeling just like me and you know it." Nick stated as he pushed past Joey and walked into the Food Court. "Nick, Nick you were spying on me and Chris? How could you!" Joey screamed. "We were sharing a private moment." "Well if you wanted it to be private, you should have did it somewhere else than being outside." Nick stated as he sat down at a table. "You could have minded your own business and walked away or something. You didn't have to stand wherever you were listening." Joey stated sitting down at the table across from Nick. "I'm sorry, but I was already there, I was hiding from the others. I wasn't in the mood for being bothered by anyone and then the next thing I know you and Chris are talking about your outbursts." Nick stated. "Why were you hiding, it couldn't have been that bad. What was going on to cause you to want to hide?" Joey asked. "Well first off, my brother is gay and dating some guy that was in the house that I didn't even know about. Second, Brian and JC got together finally, after all I the planning Brian did to get with him. Then, Kevin and Justin getting back together, which really topped the cake for me." Nick stated stressed, "I can't take all of this love and romance. I want someone to love me." "Yeah, me too. I snapped at Justin and Kevin yesterday about that very same thing. That's what me and Chris were talking about. So far Chris and Lance are the only one's that know I am gay. I don't think Lance is taking this well." Joey stated. "Well I haven't told the guys yet either. I don't think they suspect anything, but with the way I have been acting lately, they may. I just wish there was someone to love me." Nick stated laying his head down on the table. "Nick you are a nice, sweet guy that any guy would love to have." Joey stated as he started rubbing Nick's hand, "A nice, sweet guy that I would love to have..." Joey trailed off. "Joey what? You would want me?" Nick asked. "We could get together and see what happens. I don't know if you find me attractive or anything, but I have always thought of you as a good looking, intelligent guy that I would love to date, but I didn't know if you were gay or even interested." Joey stated. "Joey let's go. I think we need to go back to the hotel and talk about this. Better yet, let's talk about this after the concert tonight. I need to think about this." Nick stated. "Nick...Nick, I wasn't trying to offend you or anything. I think you are a nice guy and I would really like to get to know you better." Joey stated getting up with Nick. * The Hilton - Brian/JC/Howie's Room * "I really enjoyed that movie, what's coming on next?" Brian asked. "The movie guide says that 'The Naked Truth' is coming on in ten minutes. That's a funny movie." JC stated. "I don't care if it is or not, I am just glad that we are here together, just the two of us spending time together." Brian stated as he came back into the room with drinks and chips. "Thank you baby. I am glad we are here together too. Gives us some time to be just us, to get to know each other better, without the guys being around to phase that." JC said as he leaned over and kissed Brian on the cheek. <KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK> "Yes, Who's there?" Brian asked. "It's me Justin, can I come in guys, it's boring out here." Justin stated outside of the door. "Oh great, there goes our alone time. Just go ahead and let him in, hopefully he will get the hint and leave." JC stated. "Are you sure honey, I can tell him to go away." Brian stated. "No, I don't want to hurt his feelings or anything, just go ahead and let him in baby." JC stated. "Al'right honey, I will let him in, but only because you wanted him to be in here." Brian stated opening the room door. "Hi guys, what are you doing in here?" Justin asked. "We were spending the day just being together, getting to know each other. Exploring each other's life." Brian stated. "Oh, so you guys were spending alone time? I am so sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I will just leave, the other's should be back soon." Justin stated, heading towards the door. "Brian...Justin you don't have to go, you can sit here and watch the movie with us if you like." JC stated. "No, no, I will not intrude into you guys alone time. I wouldn't want anyone to intrude into mine and Kevin's." Justin stated as he turned around and walked to the door. "I will see you guys at the concert tonight. Have fun, don't do anything me and Kevin wouldn't do." Justin stated winking his eye at the two men. "Oh shush, we wouldn't do anything like do, we are normal."
