DISCLAIMER: I don't know anything about any of the men portrayed in this
story and am not implying anything about their sexuality. This is just
fantasy-let's leave it at that. I am not affiliated with either of them and

FIRST THINGS FIRST: I am very sorry that it has been too long since the
last update.  Hopefully you guys can stick with me. I'm at school now and
things get very busy at college. My other story "Nick and Ashley" is really
heating up too so I have to pay attention to that also. I will try my
hardest to get the updates out quicker.

I hope everyone had an excellent holiday and ate more than they could
handle because that's what it's all about. Look at it this way: if you ate
too much it means that you are blessed because you are well provided.

Josh's Heart-Chapter Three

"I can't believe you just said that Jayce, what the hell is your problem?
You've been weird about this since this morning." Justin yelled to his
friend as he pulled him into a side room.

Justin had just come out to the rest of the group and told them of his
relationship with Josh Hartnett and it went very well. All of the guys were
very understanding, except for the one person he thought would be, his best
friend JC.

"I just don't think it's smart for you to rush into another relationship
like this."  JC said.

"You've never stood against me like that before. Is something else up?"
Justin retorted.

"No, I just think that the media is gonna be all over us once they figure
out that you and Britney broke up and to have them find out about Josh
would be career suicide." JC said.

"Jayce, we've had heart to heart talks a million times before and we always
agreed that as much as we love N'sync you just gotta be happy in life and
if a relationship makes you happy then it's ok." Justin said.

"That was mostly referring to Britney though. Besides, a lot has changed
since then." JC said as his voice trailed off.

"Joshua, what is the matter?" Justin asked.

"Nothing." JC answered.

Justin came over and put his arm around his friend. He knew that something
was up and that was the only reason that he was acting like this. He just
couldn't pinpoint it.

"How long have we known each other?" Justin asked him

"Pretty much forever." JC said

"You should know that by now I can see right through you when you lie. Tell
me what's wrong." Justin said

JC looked up at Justin with tears in his eyes. He couldn't bear the burden
anymore. He had to tell him.

"Justin, I have feelings for you. I always have." JC said

Justin's grip let loose a bit.

"It's breaking my heart to see you with other people. I always held it in
because I wasn't sure if you were gay or not but now you come out to us and
before I have the chance to tell you, you're already with another guy." JC
said.

"Josh, I never knew…" Justin started but then thought of how ironic it
was that he was falling in love with one Josh when another was already in
love with him.

"Justin, please." JC said.

"I, I, I don't know what to do right now Jayce. Please don't make me
choose." Justin said.

"We've always been so close Just, I just never knew how to really tell you
my feelings."  JC said as he started to break down

"JC, I need some time to think this over. I'm sorry but I'm with Josh
now. I don't think it's gonna work. I'm sorry." Justin said as he walked
out of the room and closed the door.

"We'll see about that" JC said out loud to no one.

He felt extremely bad for his friend. He and JC had always been close. They
told each other stories, shared intimate conversations and details about
their life.  JC was there for him when Justin's parents got divorced. He
always looked at him as his true best friend but never really saw him as
someone he would have feelings for.

'I guess he thought differently' Justin thought to himself as he sped down
the highway.  He had no idea what to do about this. He had to go somewhere
and just think.  He took the exit he had taken many times to get away from
everything. He pulled the car up to the secluded park that he always went
to when things got hectic. He shut off his cell phone and threw it on the
passenger seat.

He stepped out of the car and walked over the stones onto the grass that
surrounded a nearby lake. He began to walk and just think. He found the
secluded tree that looks over the glorious lake that he has called his
own. He came here when his parents were having trouble, he came here when
he was wrestling with his own sexuality and he came here when he just
needed to be himself.

Right now was one of those times. He wasn't sure who he was anymore. He
knew he was Justin Timberlake but he was extremely confused. He felt
blessed when he was a kid that he had someone to watch out for him, JC. He
felt blessed when he and Britney decided to make it official and how they
gave their all to each other. Now, he felt blessed that he found Josh and
his feelings for him were very strong yet he also felt the burden, JC's
burden.

'It must have been eating him inside all this time' Justin thought to
himself and imagined how many sleepless nights he must have had.

He knew he loved JC as a friend. No one could have asked for such a good
friend. But he also knew that he was falling in love with Josh and no one
could have imagined the intimacy that they shared.

This was all too much for Justin. He needed to just relax. He closed his
eyes and laid against the tree and due to the stress of everything before
he knew it he was out like a light.

He was awakened by something that hit him. He wasn't sure what it was until
he opened his eyes again and saw a little kid standing above him. Justin
rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and saw what must have been a kid no more
than 7 years old watching him and laughing.

He had completely blond hair, which seemed to glisten off the sun. His blue
eyes seem to see right through Justin.

"Hey little guy, what's going on?" Justin asked the child.

"I woke you up." The kid said as he laughed again.

Justin looked down and saw the ball next to him. He must have thrown it at
him while he saw him sleeping.

"Yeah you did buddy but that's ok. I needed to get going anyway. So what's
your name little guy?" Justin asked.

"My name is Justin." He said as he played with his overalls.

"Wow, that's my name too." Justin said.

"I know." He said as he picked up his ball and ran off in the opposite
direction and seemed to disappear within the bushes.

'Weird. I gotta get back.' Justin thought to himself as he started to walk
back to his car.

He began to hear a loud, cracking noise almost like popcorn. He spun around
on his heels and looked up at the tree he was under to see a large branch
almost twice the size of him fall directly in the spot that Justin was
laying.

It would have definitely killed him if not severely injuring him.

"Holy shit that was close." Justin said out loud to no one, his heart
skipping beats.

He remembered the little boy. 'That kid saved my life.' He thought to
himself.

He thought into it more and became disturbed at the entire situation. His
name was Justin and he had blond hair and blue eyes. Justin looked out over
the lake to see if he could find the kid but he was gone.

Justin shook all of this off and began to walk back to his car. He spotted
the vehicle and saw an object on top of the hood. He picked it up and
smiled to himself, realizing what the significance of all of this meant. He
got in the car and drove away.


Josh Hartnett woke up in his bed to the sun peeking through the shades. He
never woke up to these before and wondered if something else had to do with
this.  Suddenly, the doorbell rang again to his Orlando apartment and he
realized what exactly it was that woke him up.

He got out of bed, clad only in a pair of white boxers and went towards the
door. He began to rub the cobwebs out of his eyes and opened the door.

"Wow now that's a welcome." Justin said from the other side.

"Huh? Oh thanks." Josh said with a smile and a blush.

"Anyone ever tell you you're cute when you're embarrassed." Justin said as
he leaned in and gave his boyfriend a passionate kiss.

Justin felt like a new day of his life had just started and he wanted to
tell Josh all about it.

"What's with the ball?" Josh asked confused.

"Long story. Don't worry about that. I need to talk to you." Justin said as
they both walked upstairs.

Josh put on a shirt on and sat down on the bed. Justin sat down next to him
and grabbed his hand and held it.

"Josh I came to realize a lot of things today. I did a lot of thinking and
I just wanted to make sure you know that I care for you a lot and I think
I'm falling in love with you."  Justin said from the heart.

"Are you ok Just?" Josh asked.

"Yeah everything is great. I just needed you to know that." Justin said as
he leaned in and kissed Josh.

to Justin now. He was going to be with Josh and JC would just have to
understand.
