Subject: Justin and Redemption Part13-14
Well here we are again, I just wanna say thank you to DCG, roguewolf, and
Matthew who have been writing responses to me, they help a lot, oh and I
suggest reading:

Justin and Redemption.
Part 13: Longings.
Last Time: Justin and Gavin were on their mid tour breaks and had met up, they
were inseparably and becoming very close friends.
The rest of the week went in a blur for Gavin and Justin; they spent all their time
together, shopping, eating, and so on. They gathered everyone together on the
Friday and took them all out to a club, where Gavin spent most of his time
dancing with Justin mesmerised by Justin's body as it moved to the music.
They stayed in each other's rooms at night talking and watching movies. They
were inseparable.
Both of them were dreading having to go back on their separate tours, leaving
each other, on Sunday.
When Sunday came, Justin bearhugged Gavin fiercely, and extracted a promise
that he would phone everyday. They climbed onto their separate tour coaches and
as they pulled out stared at each other's coach without realising the other was
doing the same. They went their different ways.

Gavin's tour commenced back up to full speed, and for the next few months they
were all kept very busy, as they were shuttled all over America.
He was in contact with Justin everyday, as promised, and was beginning to
feel; pained about the relationship, he had with Justin, they were as close as best
friends could be, but Gavin knew that he wanted something more, but Justin was
straight through and through.
His band mates noticed he was becoming more and more morose and
abstracted, and they knew the cause, but seeing no way to remedy his situation, all
they could do was distract him from his thoughts as often as possible. Which
wasn't too hard, as they were in the middle of a hectic tour across states, plus
Gavin was now amazingly wealthy; with the album still selling like crazy, having
hit the 10million mark a week after resuming the tour. Gavin was now worth
about 8million; not including any money gained from the tour and merchandise,
which when eventually counted would make him worth about 13million. His mind
just shut down when he thought of money now, he couldn't conceive having so
much, let alone know what to do with it all.
So Lucy and Oz spent an inordinate amount of time making suggestions for it's
use, and discussing plans for their own wealth.
However all Gavin thought of was Justin, he just couldn't let go of the guy
even in his own head.

Lucy was sitting in the lounge of the coach at about 3am in the morning, as they
drove out of Wisconsin, playing on her laptop.
She couldn't sleep, the last gig had been so crazy and the crowd so enthusiastic
that she was pumped full of adrenaline.
Her phone started vibrating on the table in front of her, picking it up she
looked at the caller I.D, smiled to herself.
"Hey sexy legs" she said quietly, not wanting to wake anyone.
"Hey sexy yourself" Joey answered back, "Why are you awake so late?"
"Me? What about you?" she said.
"Good point, I should really think before I talk huh?" Joey said sounding
embarrassed.
"Don't worry I can do all your thinking for you from now on" Lucy said
chuckling quietly to herself, "So what's up baby?"
"Baby? Interesting...nothing much, I can't sleep so I thought I would see if you
were awake to chat"
"Oh right cool, I can't sleep either too much adrenaline, so how are the guys?" she
asked politely.
"Oh they are fine, although Justin had been weird, a bit detached and moody, he
perks up the minute Gavin phone's I've noticed though" Joey said with a confused
chuckle "They must have really hit it off, I've never seen Justin become friends
with someone so fast and so closely"
"Yeah I know what you mean, Gavin's being exactly the same, they really hit it
off", she said hoping she wasn't going to have to lie about Gavin's sexuality.
"I know this is gonna sound crazy but do you think it's maybe more than
friendship?" Joey asked very quietly.
"Uhh...umm...it's possible I suppose...but Justin is straight yeah? I mean what
about the whole Britney thing aswell how do you explain that, is he Bi or
something?" she asked curiously.
"True, but the thing with Britney to me never seemed completely like a
relationship, they were real close, but to me almost more in a Best friend way,
rather than anything else. And I don't think Justin actually even slept with her as
far as I know" Joey said.
"Really? That's odd, hmm well I dunno then they could be possibly more than
friends but I think Gavin would have said something to me if they were in love or
whatever" she said suspiciously.
"Yeah, I don't think I can say the same, I'm close to Justin but he has always kept
a little part of himself from everyone, I think, even from Lynn, his mom, so if he
was...gay or whatever I don't think he'd tell us. Might be too scared to" Joey
explained.
"Yeah he does have that slight enigma thing going on like there's something he's
not quite giving up" she paused, and thought for a second, "well I don't know, if
they are I'm assuming they'll tell us but I think they are just close friends, maybe
it's just a case of needing to realise they like each other in a romantic way who
knows, I don't, listen me and they guys will be finishing the tour in about a month
and a half, I reckon you should badger Justin into throwing a party in his huge
house back in Orlando when everyone get's there, what do you think?" she asked
excitement in her voice at the prospect.
"Yeah that would be cool and I could get to see you, I tell ya' what I'll work on
him about it and phone you when I get an answer yeah?" Joey said sweetly.
"Okay, cool, listen I'm gonna try and get some sleep now, so I will phone you
soon okay?" she said.
"Okay, I'll miss you" he said quietly.
Lucy blushed and pushed her hair behind her ear, "I'll miss you too, later baby"
"Later sweet thing".
Lucy put the phone down and sat thinking about what Joey had said about Justin.
Maybe he was right, maybe Justin did love Gavin but was not aware somehow
he was gay or he was maybe denying it somehow, he had been pulling an all
macho streak lately especially in public with the whole 'Homme' attitude pictures
and the new hair. Well maybe something would happen at the party, she hoped so,
if anything just to cheer Gavin up and by the sound of it cheer Justin up too.
* * *
A month and a half rolled by with the tour going even faster as venues became
stadiums, which became larger stadiums.
Lucy spent a lot of her time between work, sleeping, distracting Gavin from
thinking too much about Justin and coordinating the party at Justin's, almost all
their crew new and NSYNC's crew, about the only person who didn't was Gavin,
even Justin had agreed to silence, but only just.
The tour ended for Lucy, Gavin and Oz, and exhausted they made their way to
Orlando, NSYNC had another week and a half to go before they finished.
When they got home Lucy and Oz, went to their own places to rest for a few
days, Gavin went back to his place, his mood was bad, he knew NSYNC were still
on tour and he didn't know whether he was going to get to see Justin at all for
ages.
He spent the whole week sleeping, watching movies and moping around.
He had sort of decided to buy a new house still in Orlando but larger and
more secluded, well isolated was his words, for privacy. But he didn't have the
energy to go house hunting at the minute. By the end of the week and into the next
he was bored out of his eyeballs, on a downer from the tour, and generally
apathetic, and especially annoyed at not being able to see Justin.
Looking at the calendar and seeing it was Tuesday he decided to go out and
treat himself, he put his bag on and caught a bus into town, he didn't need security
as he was on holiday and had bought a large pair of aviator sunglasses and a large blue
comfy beanie hat as a sort of disguise, amazingly it worked.
He got into town and shuffled around receiving a few curious glances but
nothing more. Having done some shopping, and extensively adding to his movie
and CD collection, he decided to get some Chinese for lunch, he found a Chinese
bar ten minutes later and sat in the back, munching on some chow mein.
The radio was on in the restaurant/cafe and the presenter was saying something
about NSYNC so he perked up to listen.
After reading out a few reviews of the tour, he then introduced NSYNC live,
and they all said hi, Justin said hi and a special hi to Gavin who should be at home
by now.
Gavin's mind pulsed in happiness when he heard that, as the presenter asked if
that happened to be him Justin confirmed and the presenter started reading out
some rumours about Gavin that were hot at the minute, Gavin himself was too
busy being happy about Justin to care what this weeks rumours were, he finished
his food and shuffled out and down to the bus stop, smiling to himself.

NSYNC's bus pulled up outside Justin's house and Justin bounded off and with
the help off the driver managed to get all his bags into the door of his house.
As he was waving goodbye, Joey poked his head out of a window and
shouted,
"Don't forget about tomorrow night, we will all be round by 8 okay?" Justin
waved again.
Then walked into his house and shut the door behind him, he
groaned at all the stuff he had to get done, like the washing for a start, but he was
too tired for anything right now, he would have gone over to Gavin's to see him,
but the lights had been out so he assumed Gavin wasn't back yet.
Justin picked up his bags and took the dirty bag to the garage and shoved all
his clothing into the washer and turned it on.
Then he headed upstairs had a shower, and climbed into bed to sleep.

Gavin got home by late afternoon time, and letting himself in, he dumped his
shopping on the floor and made himself an cup of tea and had a cigarette, then
stacked all his new film's and CD's with the others and went to bed exhausted.

Part 14: reunions and secrets found.
When Gavin woke up it was about 6 in the evening, strange he thought I haven't
slept more than an hour, but he felt well rested. He turned on the TV, he flicked
channels and came across the music news he watched it hoping for something
about NSYNC, but there was nothing, he turned it off when there was knock at the
door.
He jumped out of bed, pulled a dressing gown on and answered the door,
"Hey Lucy, you okay"
She smiled at him and let herself in, as he yawned expansively.
"Well I have a surprise for you, were going to a party" she exclaimed.
"What? How long have you been arranging this one?" he asked.
"For a while now and you will definitely like it, planned for Wednesday at 8
o'clock" she said with a flourish.
He squinted at her and said, "Wednesday, but it's only Tuesday I got home an
hour ago from shopping, where are you?"
"What no it's Wednesday are you sure you didn't take too many sleeping pills, or
something?" she said looking confused at him.
"I must have slept for ages then wow cool," he said smiling to himself.
"Well come on you have to get dressed and ready for 8, move move move!!!"
Lucy said shooing him into his bedroom.
"I'm gonna make some coffee want any?" she shouted to him through his door.
"No thanks I'd like some tea though" he shouted back as he cleaned himself up
and headed to the shower.
"You and you're bloody English tea" she shouted back then went to make some.
Gavin took a long shower then got dressed in some tatty jeans and a slightly less
unkempt t-shirt, pulled his beanie on, and stepped out of his bedroom, Lucy was
sitting on his sofa looking through his movies.
"Took you long enough" she said then sighed, "I don't suppose there is much
point in me asking you to get dressed nicely is there oh well you will do and I like
the beanie anyway, tea?" she finished holding out a mug.
He took it and lit up a fag, "So where is this party, whose going?" he asked.
"It's a surprise, I can't tell you anything, I have been planning it for too long, so
just wait and you will see," she said smugly.
He grunted at her and they watched some TV for a bit then a car horn honked
outside, " Oh there is our ride, come on" she stood up grabbed his arm and pulled
him outside.
"Oh hey OZ, Jenny, you guys okay?" Gavin said as Lucy tugged him towards
them where they stood.
"Yeah were cool, come here" Oz said and turned Gavin around and wrapped a
bandanna over his eyes.
"Hey this is stupid, how old are we?" Gavin said sarcastically.
"Three!" they all shouted, and then bundled him into the car, "Okay Jeff if you
please." He heard Jenny say. And he felt the car pull away from the curb and drive
down the street. They drove for what seemed about 45 minutes then the car
stopped and they bundled him out, he assumed they must be at some club in town
or something.
He heard someone knock on a door, which was odd for a club, he heard the door
open and someone say "Oh you're here well done bring him inside".
He was pulled inside and it was deathly silent. Then someone held the back of the
bandanna and whipped it off and a thunderous "surprise" was bellowed at him, he
blinked laughed nervously around, a smile widening on his face.
"Well don't just stand their moron say something" Lucy said at his side.
He gawped at her then glanced at everyone in the room, all their crew was there
plus NSYNC's crew friends and assorted other people. "Umm ahh" he said
everyone laughed and he blushed, "err umm thank you?" he didn't know what to
say.
"Oh for god sake Gavin, I think what he means is thank you for the surprise" Lucy
said to everyone who cheered again, then everyone came at him in a rush, Lance
shook his hand and then Chris, JC, Joey Kacy all his crew and NSYNC's then a
pretty blond lady, "Hi Gavin I'm Lynn Justin's mom it's nice finally meeting you after
everything Justin told me about you"
He smiled nervously, "Hi nice to meet you" he said, and then he caught up to
himself,
"Justin's here? where?" he said glancing about excitedly Lynn laughed and pointed
up the stairs, "He has a surprise for you? Go on" she said patting his bum and he
headed towards the stairs. He got to the top and glanced back Lucy and Lynn were
smiling at him and everyone else waved a thumb-up at him and proceeded to open
some alcohol. He went down the hallway, and saw an open door and headed
towards it, he walked into a light blue room, there was a large parcel on the floor
in the middle of the room at the end of a blue bed.
He walked over to it, thought he heard something from inside it, and smiled to
himself nervously, he undid the ribbon, and ripped the decoration paper off and
lifted the lid of the cardboard box, and yelped in surprise as something jumped out
at him and landed on his chest as he fell over it started vigorously licking his face,
he got his breath back and found himself holding a young puppy Labrador, a black
one, he laughed and scratched the puppy's ears which made it swoon and frumple
onto his stomach where it proceeded to turn over and over as he tickled it's
stomach.
"Like it?" a voice said from behind him. He twisted his head round, and saw
Justin leaning against the doorframe grinning from ear to ear.
Gavin grinned back at him, "It's soo cool I've always wanted a dog, thank you!!"
he said, and stood up holding the puppy in his arms, walked over to Justin and
gave him a hug, the puppy growled as it was slightly crushed between them, Justin
laughed and stroked it's head.
"What are you gonna call it?" he asked smiling.
"Umm Sweep I think" Gavin said bouncing the puppy in his arms.
"That's a good name, glad to see me?" Justin asked in a peculiar voice.
Gavin took his attention away from the puppy, which was now licking his chin
and looked at Justin who was smiling but had a strange look in his eyes.
"Of course I am, you addlebrained numbskull, come here" and he pulled Justin
into another longer hug.
They broke apart eventually, Gavin relishing the smell particular to Justin.
"Come on, we'll miss all the alcohol" Justin said smiling the strange look still in
his eyes.
They headed back downstairs and Lucy squeeled very unusually for her bounded
over and grabbed the puppy and proceeded to, what seemed like practically mate
with the thing as she cooed over it. Lynn stepped over and said, "Justin how come
I never get such good presents?" her eyebrows raised enquiringly.
Justin blushed, "I'll get you something good at Christmas yeah" she laughed and
gave him a hug then hugged Gavin and handed him a bottle of bubbly, "Make sure
he doesn't get too drunk" she whispered to Gavin glancing at Justin who stood
smiling fondly at both of them. Gavin nodded, and then they spent the next few
hours introducing Sweep to everyone, and chatting to everyone, he was introduced
to NSYNC's friends who had come aswell, and then he spent the next few hours
drinking and playing various games which people came up with, he was never
more than two foot away from Justin at all times, and Sweep would either follow
him or Justin around adorably snatching titbits from everyone.
It was about 1 in the morning when Gavin headed to the back garden which
was extensive more like grounds, rather than a garden, he seated himself on a
bench and Sweep padded out after him and jumped into his lap, followed by
Justin.
Gavin lit a cigarette, and Justin sat next to him and stroked Sweep's head, a
voice in Gavin's head said loudly 'look his hand is directly over your crotch
whoo' but he ignored it and smiled at Justin, and then stared at the scenery.
"What are you thinking about?" Justin asked quietly.
Gavin glance at him and then back to the garden. "Everything I have
accomplished so far, I've come from a shitty childhood, a poverty stricken early
adulthood, to releasing an album becoming huge and famous and not to say
wealthy and I have a few of the things I have always wanted", he said looking at
Sweep, "I'm just wondering what I'm gonna do next."
Justin listened to that and said, "You have lots left to do, like meet a perfect
stranger and fall in love" his voice held something indefinable but similar to regret
in it, "and you have lots more music in you I can tell that, have I missed
anything?"
Gavin smiled and said, "a perfect stranger huh? Nah that's not really me, I do
have a lot more music to put out, weirdly enough I found I have more to right
about now than ever, maybe because the more you achieve the more you see what
is wrong or should be changed around you, and plus I want to move house"
"Hmm interesting, you're gonna move? where?" Justin asked anxiously.
"Oh I'm staying in Orlando it's my home after all, I just want somewhere larger,
and more secluded, that would be nice, although I kinda get the feeling it would
be a mistake because I'd be pretty lonely in a huge house on my own" Gavin
surmised suddenly.
"Well, I could make a suggestion here, I have been planning to move for awhile
now this house is nice and all but the record company got it for me and I have
never felt completely comfortable in it. So... we could search for a house and
become housemates if you want?" Justin confessed nervously, fearing rejection.
"Really oh wow that would be so cool, are you sure I can be a pain to live with
I'm sure" Gavin said his eyes alight with excitement.
Justin grinned, "I am too, so we'd be fine together, hehe we can arrange it all soon
yeah? I have a month off before we are scheduled to do anything, what about
you?" he asked.
"Same a month maybe more I don't know, so cool yeah we will talk about it
tomorrow" he said scratching sweeps neck.
"Talk about what?" Lucy said interrupting the moment, as she came out the patio
doors.
At exactly the same time Justin and Gavin both said, "Were gonna move into a
new house together and be housemates." They looked at each other and started
laughing. Lucy smiled at them and said, "Know where you're gonna move yet?"
They shook their heads and Justin said, "We gonna do some house hunting over
the holiday".
"Cool, hey guys time to come back inside and sort a lot of drunk people out and
away home, I think"
They grinned and headed inside, people were still drinking and talking, some
where getting ready to leave mainly the people who lived a way away, Justin said
goodbye to them with Gavin and Sweep barked at them, the rest of the partier's
stayed until about 3 then headed home, Gavin and Justin eventually said goodbye
to everyone, after Lucy, Oz and Lance Chris Joey and JC, had had a chance to pet
Sweep again then they headed out home.
So it was Lynn, Gavin and Justin left with a house like a nuclear bomb had been
played tennis with inside.
"Come on let's go to bed, and get some sleep we can sort this out in the
morning." Lynn advised them, so they headed upstairs, just before Lynn
disappeared into the room set aside for her Justin said, "Oh mom I forgot to tell
you me and Gavin are gonna find a house and be housemates together cool huh"
she grinned at them, "I hope you don't mind numerous bedsheets with odd stains
on them Gavin".
"MUM!!" Justin yelled blushing like crazy while Lynn and Gavin cracked up.
"Night" she said after catching her breath and closed her door.
Justin turned and headed down the hallway, "Are you sure it's okay if I sleep over
tonight? I mean my house is only down the road," Gavin asked hoping he could
stay.
Justin turned and looked at him, "Of course it is you moron come on" and he
turned back and headed down the hallway, Gavin followed him with sweep
butting his legs as he walked. Justin disappeared into a bedroom and Gavin
followed, "I'm just gonna use the toilet, there are some pyjamas in the wardrobe"
Justin said and went into the toilet.
Gavin opened the wardrobe and found a whole host of weird outfits obviously
stuff Justin had kept from the tour, and eventually with much rummaging found
some pyjamas. He stripped off and pulled them on, then hopped onto the bed and
made himself comfortable, sweep jumped up and lay on his legs, Justin came out
of the bathroom, and said "It's all yours, I have another surprise for you when
you're done" he said enigmatically. Gavin smiled bemused and headed into the
bathroom while Sweep attacked Justin. He brushed his teeth with a spare brush
and washed his face, then came out and found Justin fiddling with something in
his hands, "Justin what are you doing?".
Justin looked up and smiled and produced a spliff he had been rolling, Gavin
burst out laughing, "I thought you were wanking" he managed to say sending
Justin off into laughter aswell. Once they had calmed down Justin lit the spliff
took and drag and handed it to Gavin who puffed on it, while Justin rummaged
underneath the bed with his hand, and produced a bottle of absynth.
"Whoah cool, you're bad MR.Timberlake, does your mum know about this?"
Gavin asked.
"Nope she would kill me if she found out, especially as weed and absinthe are
both illegal in this state. Hehe" Justin said chuckling and pouring the absinthe into
small shot glasses he had produced aswell.
He handed Gavin a shot and took the spliff and said, "IN three ready?" Gavin
nodded, "Okay 1...2...3 go" and they downed the shots, Justin coughed and
crinkled his face while Gavin sat calmly waiting for the next shot.
Justin glared at him and said, "What's wrong with you, how can you take it so
well?"
Gavin smiled then started coughing all over the place, "Got you". Justin
grinned. They had a few more shots and finished the spliff and talked for
a few more hours, Justin hid the Absynthe and then they feel asleep
heavily, with sweep on their legs.
