*****Notes from the Author: The FANatic interview mentioned in this
installment really happened, it aired on MTV in May, just before Millennium
was released. I just paraphrased things that were said in that interview.

I have to thank a few people. Teo, your support has made this easier for
me to write, thank you.

Ed, I now know what you went through, and I'm glad that this was there for
you. Just remember me on the 24th when you go and see my boy. Tell him I
said HI!!!!! You know how jealous I am.

A special thank you to all of the authors that nominated me for the best
use of Kevin. I can't believe that I won in that category. I really never
expected to be nominated, never mind to win, so thank you to everyone that
voted for me. There are so many other authors that deserved to win more
than me. NM, to me you use Kevin better than the rest of us. Kevin &
Dustin are what we all wish we could have. JM you know that this means
you. You are an inspiration to us all. You are the reason that most of us
started doing this in the first place. You have set the standard that we
all aspire to. I know that I have said this already, but I have to say it
one more time, thank you for writing "In The Deepest Heart", it means more
to me than you could ever know.

And lastly to Sheldon. You of all people know what is going on in my life,
and you always make me laugh. Thank you. You don't know what your
friendship means to me. When I needed you, you were there, so thank you.
I love you buddy. This, as always is for you. You give me the strength to
keep going. And just remember, when you are there with all of those
screaming girls, that I am there with you in spirit, and that you got the
tickets and I didn't. Have fun.

KEVIN & JORDAN

CHAPTER 15

I awoke the next morning with Diva licking my face. I sat up and
gave her a hug, put her on the floor and turned to Kevin. He wasn't there.

Where is he I thought? Then I heard the shower running, and had my
question answered.

The next thing I did was look at the clock. 9:00, not bad. A
whole night with no nightmares about Chad, I couldn't believe it. The next
thing I needed was coffee. I climbed out of bed, reached for my boxers
that were on the floor, pulled them on and headed to the kitchen.

On my way there I could smell coffee. Oh Kevin, that was so sweet,
I thought. He made it before he got into the shower. I walked into the
kitchen, and about pissed my pants.

	"Morning Jordan," Howie said.

"Oh shit! Howie. I didn't expect to see you here," I exclaimed.

	"Obviously," he said sarcastically.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Well, if you had, I don't think that you would be standing there
in just a pair of boxers. Let alone one's that are Kevin's."

"Huh?" I asked, as I looked down to see what he was talking about.
Sure enough, they were Kevin's boxers that I had on. My face must have
turned twenty different shades of red as I blushed.

"Don't worry about it dude. I guess I don't need to ask if you had
a good night then, do I?"

Before I could answer him, the answer came from behind me.

 	"Yes we did," Kevin said.

I spun around to see him, standing there in a towel, and walked
over to him and gave him a kiss.

	"Morning sexy," I said.

"Good morning to you too. But what are you doing out of bed? I
tried to be quiet so that you could sleep."

"It wasn't you, it was Diva. She woke me up. Besides, I wanted
some coffee. " God he looked so sexy in that towel. I could feel myself
starting to get hard again, which would not be a good thing with Howie
sitting there.

"Um, honey, maybe you should go and put some clothes on," I said,
trying to get him out of the room, and trying to get rid of the erection
that I was forming.

"I guess you're right. I'll be back in a minute," he said, as he
turned and walked back down to the bedroom. Man, he had a gorgeous ass.

"So Howie," I started, and pouring myself a cup of coffee, "how was
your night, or do I need to ask," I finished with an evil grin.

"If you must ask, not as good as yours I'm guessing. But, it was
really good. We just went and had a couple of drinks and talked. That's
it."

"Well that's good. You guys look like you're getting along good.
I'm happy for you."

"I never would have met him if it wasn't for you. So thank you."

"Don't mention it." I sat down at the table with him. "I have to
thank you too. I really appreciate you getting that tape for me.
Everything was perfect the other day. But, I have to tell you, I never
expected that it would lead to him writing the song though."

"You're not the only one. It blew me away. It is the best thing
that Kevin has ever written. He really does love you, you know that
right?"

"Yes I do. Especially after last night. And I'm not talking about
what you think I am."

Howie had a confused look on his face.

" Let's just say that, we overcame a major obstacle last night, one that I
thought I would lose him over, and I didn't."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Don't worry about it. I'll tell you some other time. Let's just
say, that he is the most special man I have ever met in my life."

"Yeah, he is isn't he. He's always been like that. Always putting
other people before himself. He is always taking care of the rest of us,
and ignoring himself. But now he is finally taking care of himself. I
guess that he just needed a reason to do that, and you gave him that
reason."

There was something that I needed to know, and Howie was the best
person to ask. I got really nervous as I started to ask him this question.
"Howie, can I ask you something?"

	"Sure. What's up?"

"What happened with Kevin and Ryan?"

"Don't you think that you should ask Kevin that, and not me?"

"I have. He told me what happened, but I want another view of it.
I mean, I could ask Brian, and I have, but because they are family I can't
get the answer that I want. I want *our families* view of it. If you know
what I mean."

"Oh, I see," he said, finally getting what I was talking about.
"Well, I for one, never thought they were good for each other. I mean, he
was a nice guy and all, but there was just something about him that didn't
set right with me."

	"Like what?"

"I don't know. It's hard to say. I just got the feeling that he
was never being totally honest with Kevin or us for that matter. And then
we all found out why."

	"Did he love Kevin?"

"He said he did. But, in the end, I really don't think he did. He
lied to Kevin about a lot of things, and that is the one thing you can't do
with him. He hates it."

"Yeah I know," I said with flashes of last night going through my
head.

"Well, we were on tour, and we happened to get a weekend off with
out a show, so Kevin decided to fly back down to Orlando to surprise him.
When he got to Ryan's house, he found him in bed with some other guy. As
it turns out, Ryan had been seeing this guy the whole time that he was with
Kevin. He thought that he could have his cake and eat it too."

"How did he pull that one off?"

"With us gone all of the time, it wasn't hard. When Kevin would
call him from the road, at times when he thought that Ryan would be home,
he wasn't. He would just explain it away as him being at work late, or out
with friends or something. Which was fine with Kevin, because he didn't
expect him to sit around and wait for him. But then he started doing the
same thing when we would be home, and that's when I started getting
suspicious. I mean, come on. We would only be home for a little while and
he would pull this shit. You would think that if he knew that the man he
loved was only going to be around for a week or so, he would make time to
see him."

Just then Kevin decided to make his entrance back into the kitchen.
He looked great. He was wearing a pair of dark blue pants, and a dark
blue, short sleeve shirt with a silver dragon printed on it. His hair,
well it looked the way it always did. The way I loved it. Kind of messy,
but at the same time kind of neat.

"What are you two talking about?"

"You," I gushed as I saw him.

"D. what kind of shit are you telling him?"

"It's all good Kev, it's all good. Don't worry. Listen, I'm going
to go and take a shower. Jordan, we'll finish this later. Okay?"

	"Sure Howie. Thanks."

	"Don't mention it."

Howie walked out of the room, and headed towards the bathroom. I
walked over to Kevin, and gave him a hug and a kiss.

"So what were you guys really talking about?" He asked me.

"Nothing really. Mostly about him and David."

"Oh. By the way, you look really cute with my boxers on. You know
that?"

"Not as cute as you looked in that towel though. To bad Howie's
here. Otherwise, I would have thrown you down and done you as soon as I
saw you."

"Oh...really, I kind of like that idea. Let's do it anyhow."

"I love that idea, but we can't."

"Why not?" He asked, as he reached down and slid his hand up my
crotch. Instantly making me hard.

	"Well...um."

"That's what I thought," he whispered into my ear, as his hand
slipped into the waistband of my/his boxers.

"Um...Kevin, don't you have an interview to get to?" I asked,
trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I do, but it's not for a couple more hours. We have plenty
of time. What do you say?"

I was having a hard time concentrating. He knew exactly what he
was doing to me.

"Kevin...uhm...as much as I want to, I really don't think we
should. Howie's here."

"You're no fun. You know that?" He asked with a smirk that let me
know he was kidding. He pulled his hands out of the boxers, and walked
over to get himself some coffee.

"Yes I am. You didn't have any complaints last night."

Kevin walked back over to me, put his arms around me and said.
"Honey you were fantastic last night. I could never complain about you."

"Thank you. You weren't so bad yourself."

"I didn't hurt you or anything did I?"

"No you didn't. It had just been a while. I'm a little sore, but
nothing that won't go away in a little while."

	"Are you sure?"

"Yes Kevin. I'm fine. I slept great after too. Chad never held
me or anything like that when we were done. It was always, roll over and
go to sleep," I said, and started tearing up again.

"Shh...Jordan. It's okay," he said putting a finger to my lips.
"I didn't mean to bring it up like that. I just wanted to make sure that
you were okay, and that you enjoyed it."

"Kevin, I'm fine. And, yes I enjoyed it more than you know. Just
wait until tonight."

	"Is that a promise?"

"You better believe it is. Now I'm going to take a shower," I
said, walking away from him, and grabbing his crotch at the same time.
"That's just a little preview of what you will be getting tonight if you're
good."

CHAPTER 16

Three hours later, we were in a small park like area of the hotel.
MTV was there setting up for the interview for FANatic. FANatic, was a
show where people sent in tapes to prove that they were a celebrity's
number one fan. The one, who was picked, got flown from wherever they were
in the country, to where the interview was going to take place, and got to
conduct an interview.

The guys were all sitting there, looking good, well maybe for the
exception of AJ's hat. Him and his damn leopard prints. He was starting
to look like Jose Eber. Only without the ponytail. I still had to love
him though.

The girl who was chosen as the guys' number one fan was from the
East Coast. She was pretty, and was actually asking some pretty
intelligent questions. The subject of the new album came up, and the guys
said how excited they were about it, and how they had so much more input on
this one.

	Then came the big question.

"So I need to ask you what every girl wants to know. Do you guys
have girlfriends?"

They all answered yes in one way or another.

	"I'm seeing someone," Howie said.

"Yeah, I'm seeing somebody," Kevin said. Looking right at me. I
was standing back behind the girl, so she couldn't really see me. I knew
that he really didn't want to say that he had a `girlfriend', but he said
it for her, and I knew he meant me. That way, people would know, he was
off the market. They had no chance with him. He did it because he loved
me. All I could do was smile at him, and I mouthed the words `I love you'
to him. He just smiled back at me.

The interview went on for a little while longer. It ended with all
of the guys signing a copy of the new album for her. Each gave her a hug
and kiss. Then it was over.

With the interview over, Brian, AJ, and Nick had no reason to
remain in LA. Their flight back to Orlando was scheduled for the next
afternoon. They decided to go back to their hotel and chill for the rest
of the day.

CHAPTER 17

The rest of us, including David went to dinner, then to a special
club that David and I knew about.

We got to the club and made our way inside to find a table. The
music wasn't too loud, so we were able to hear each other talk.

Once we sat down, I spoke up.

"I'm going to go and get something to drink. David, do you want to
come with me?"

"Sure. Howie, what do you want?"

While Howie was telling him, I asked Kevin the same thing. We both
got our answers, got up, and headed towards the bar.

"They have no idea where we are, do they?" He asked.

"Not a clue," I answered. "This is going to be fun, don't you
think?"

"Yeah, it is. I can't wait to see what you're planning."

	"Just wait and see."

David and I paid for the drinks, and headed back to the table.
Once we got there, we put the drinks down, and I leaned over to Kevin and
kissed him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Kevin asked, with a shocked look
on his face. I looked over at David, and he had a shit-eating grin on his
face, as he understood what I was up to.

"I'm kissing my boyfriend. Is that okay with you?"

"That's fine, it you want to do that, but we're in public. What
were you thinking?"

"Kevin, have you really taken a look at where you are?" I asked.

"Yeah, we're in a dance club."

"Yes we are. But, really, and I mean really take a look."

As I said that, Kevin looked around. David in the meantime leaned
over and gave Howie a kiss that knocked his socks off.

"David, what the fuck do you think you're doing?" Howie asked,
just as shocked as Kevin was.

"I'm kissing you. And, I'm going to ask you the same thing Jordan
asked Kevin. Have you really looked at where we are?"

Kevin and Howie started to look around in the club. They saw
couples. They weren't just your usual couples. They were guys and guys,
girls and girls, girls and guys, every combination you could think of.

"Jordan...are we." Kevin started to ask, but never finished his
question.

"Yes sweetie, we are," I answered, trying to hold back a laugh, and
not succeeding.

	"But how?"

"Listen honey...everyone in this town knows that not everyone is
straight. This club is here to cater to that crowd. The staff is paid a
lot of money to keep their mouths shut. So we have nothing to worry about.
I can hang all over you tonight if I want to, and not worry about anyone
saying anything. That's one of the rules of coming in here. Whatever
happens in here, stays in here. So don't worry about it okay? I've been
here a few times, and so has David, and we have never had any problems.
So, will you please just trust me."

"Okay...I'll trust you, for now," he said nervously.

"Good, now come here and kiss me!"

Kevin leaned over, put one hand on my face and kkissed me. It
wasn't a quick kiss; it was a slow, passionate kiss filled with love.

I looked at him and all I saw was love in his eyes. This man had
taken away all of my pain. All of the hurt that was in me, all of the
humiliation, and treated me like I was a real person. I finally felt that
I could belong to someone. Not the way that Chad had made me feel. He had
made me feel like a piece of shit, like a whore, like I was nothing. He
had made me feel like I didn't belong to anyone, and that I was worthless.
Kevin had changed all of that. It's hard to believe that in a space of
less than two weeks that we could develop this kind of relationship. I for
once in my life knew that somebody actually cared for me, and cared about
what happened to me. He was an angel to me. He was my angel. When I
looked at him, and those green eyes, I got lost. He was so beautiful, I
couldn't think straight.

"I love you Jordan," he said, pulling out of the kiss.

"I love you too, Kevin," I replied.

All four of us just sat there and enjoyed the fact that we could be
out in public, and showing affection to each other without having to worry
about anyone saying things, or taking our pictures.

A few minutes later, "I'll Never Break Your Heart" could be heard
coming through the speakers, and I got an idea.

I stood up, extended my hand towards Kevin and said, as seductively
as I could, "dance with me?'

Kevin looked up at me and smiled. He took my hand, looked me in
the eyes, and placed a small, light, but loving kiss on my cheek, and said,
"lets go."

We made out way to the dance floor. Kevin stopped, and pulled me
into his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and laid my head on his
shoulder. I loved being in his arms like this, I felt safe. As we danced
Kevin lightly kissed my neck and cheek.

The song finished, and we started to leave the floor, when another
slow song started, and just by looking at him, I could tell that Kevin
wanted to stay, so we did.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"You know, they really do look good together, don't they?" David
asked.

"Yes they do. They are so in love with each other it's not funny.
You should have seen what Brian and I went through to get them together,"
Howie replied.

	"What do you mean?"

"Well, they liked each other, but were too afraid of saying
anything to each other. So Brian and I had to step in, and make sure that
they talked. I know that part of Kevin's problem was that he had been
burnt in the past and didn't want to get hurt again. But, as far as Jordan
in concerned I'm not sure. Something is going on with him," Howie
explained to his man.

"Like what? For as long as I've known him, he's seemed all right.
And, Sarah loves him to death. What could be so wrong?"

"I don't know honey. He started to tell me something this morning,
but stopped when Kevin came back into the room, and said we would finish it
later. All I know is that he said it was something that could have broken
them up, but it didn't."

"Well let me talk to Sarah and see what I can find out."

"Okay, just don't pry too much. I'm sure Jordan will tell me
eventually. But right now, I want my boyfriend to kiss me, because who
knows when we will have a chance like this again."

"I couldn't agree more," David said, as he leaned in and took Howie
in his arms and proceeded to kiss him.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"Well don't they just look *fucking* cute," Chad thought to
himself, looking at Kevin and Jordan in disgust.

He was standing in a corner of the club, unnoticed by either of the
couples, and that was just the way he wanted it. He was planning on how to
get Jordan back. The last thing that he needed was for that ass hole Kevin
to see him there.

Kevin would get his, of that there was no doubt in his mind. The
question was how was he going to get him.

"All I know is that Jordan is mine, and I want him back. I never
should have let him break up with me in the first place. I know what I did
was wrong, but I was drunk, and that should make it all right," he thought
to himself.

Chad took one last look at Kevin and Jordan dancing, and decided he
had had enough, and left the club. The wheels in his mind were churning
away, with a very definite plan forming.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

We were making our way off of the dance floor when Kevin noticed a
shock of blond hair hiding in the corner.

`Well I'll be damned,' Kevin thought, `he is over there spying on
us. Well that's about to end now!'

As we arrived at the table where Howie and David were. Kevin
turned to me and said, "Babe, I'm going to run to the bathroom, I'll be
right back," and gave me a sweet kiss.

"Okay, just don't be gone too long," I replied.

	"I won't don't worry, love you."

As Kevin was walking away he turned to Howie and mouthed to him
`Come with me, NOW!'

"Kevin, wait up, I gotta go too, so I'll come with you. David,
I'll be right back," Howie said.

"No problem. Jordan and I'll just keep each other company, and
talk about you guys," David said, starting to laugh.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

"Kevin, we're not going to the bathroom are we?" Howie asked.

"No we're not. You will never guess who is here and spying on us,"
Kevin said, the anger in his voice evident. Howie hadn't heard him this
pissed off in a long time. Not since Kevin had discovered Ryan was
cheating on him.

	"What's up Kev?"

	"Chad is here."

"What? Where?" Howie said with confusion. Why was Kevin so upset
about this?

"Over there in the corner. He's been watching us, and I don't like
it, so I'm going to go and take care of it."

"Kevin, stop," Howie said, grabbing Kevin's arm and bring them to a
halt. "What is going on? And why are you so hell bent on taking care of
Chad?"

"Because I don't want him anywhere near Jordan when they are not at
work. I don't even want him near him there, but there is nothing I can do
to stop that, but I can stop him right now."

"You still haven't explained why. Is there something going on that
I should know about?"

"You mean you don't know?" Kevin asked, pulling away from Howie,
he was too pissed off to try and explain things now. All he wanted to do
was protect his Jordan, his little star. That is all that was important.

"Know what?" Howie asked. Kevin was still walking, and Howie
grabbed his arm again and stopped him. "Kevin, we are not going anywhere
until you explain to me what the hell is going on, and what has you so
upset."

"Howie, I just need to go and protect my baby, that's all that is
important right now. Now let's go."

"No damn it! Will you just talk to me? You know that I will help
you with what ever it is, but I want to know what is going on to have you
this upset."

Kevin started to tear up at the thought of what Chad had done to
Jordan. He wiped away the few tears that had started to form, and started
to explain to Howie what was going on. "Howie, I probably shouldn't be
telling you this, Jordan should, but if you're going to come with me now
you should know. Right before Jordan, and Chad broke up."

"Broke up! When were they going out? I never knew that," Howie
exclaimed.

"When they were going out is not important, but they were, and it
ended last year some time. Too make a long story short, Chad showed up at
Jordan's house one night drunk, and raped him."

"You have got to be kidding me?"

"No I'm not. That's why Jordan was having those nightmares. He
was reliving the whole thing."

"Oh my God! Poor Jordan. I think that he was going to tell me
about it this morning when you walked into the kitchen. That's what we
were talking about. Not you."

"I thought so, but I wasn't going to press the issue. You don't
know how embarrassed he is by the whole thing. It took a lot for him to
tell me about it," Kevin said, and spent the next couple of minutes
explaining everything to Howie, ending with a promise for him to not say
anything to anybody. "Now, before he leaves can we go and talk to him?"

"Yeah, lets go get that bastard!" Howie said.

They made their way over to where Chad was. He was still standing
there, acting like he was just minding his own business. He never saw
Kevin or Howie approaching him until it was too late. Kevin grabbed his
shoulder, spun him around so that he was facing him and swung. His fist
connected with Chad's jaw, and he went flying.

As he hit the ground, Howie was there and picked him up and shoved
him against the wall. Kevin was on top of him instantly. His forearm was
up against Chad's throat, and he started to speak.

"Now you little fucking piece of shit..."

I hate to say it, but,

To Be Continued...
