The only thing I have remotely in common with these boys is that Ashley

FIRST THINGS FIRST: Jayson Vascardi has agreed to do me a huge favor. I
asked him to write a one-chapter side story that features the way of life
from the view of Dan and Devon. It will follow the same storyline as this
but will just be a "day in the life of Dan and Devon" sort of thing. He
will be working on that and I've been talking to someone about doing the
same thing with AJ and Jacob. I hope you guys enjoy them when they come
out. I just feel like a lot of this is from Nick and Ash's point of view
and it may be a nice refresher to look at it from a different side.

I apologize for me not being around lately. My computer has been
horrible. I think I am back though...I hope. Thank you to all the people
that respond to my story. It means so much to an author to hear from
his/her fans. I have exactly one more week until I go back to college. As I
said before I will try to update the story as much as possible, maybe it
will warm me up on some cold winter days in Connecticut.

Nick and Ashley-Chapter Twenty-Two

The room was filled with steam, which was a nice mix with the warm weather
outside.  Nick stepped into the bathroom completely naked, his uncut penis

The two men were sunning themselves just staring at each other and enjoying
the good weather that only Key West could offer. As Dan was about to fall

than 5 or 6 years old. He had sandy blond hair that seemed to just

Devon said as both men took Sean's hands and walked on either side of him.

Dan looked at the site of him and Devon holding a child's hands.

'Could this be how my life is one day?' Dan thought to himself. He
immediately started to scare himself and dismissed the thought. He couldn't
get the image out of his head though. Could Devon be the one person he
wants to spend the rest of his life with?

Dan was pulled out of his trance when Sean ran over to a woman that seemed
to be fretting about something.

"Mommy, Mommy!" Sean said as he ran into his mother's arms.

"Oh there you are Sean, thank god you're ok, I was so worried. Don't run
away from me like that again." Sean's mother said with a sigh of
relief. She looked up and saw Dan and Devon looking on with smile, watching
the heartfelt response his mother gave her son.  "How can I ever thank you
boys?" The mother asked

"No don't worry about, we're just happy we found you." Devon said

"Yeah we thought we were gonna have to keep this little guy or something."
Dan said as he ruffled Sean's hair.

"Where are you guys from?" The mother asked

"Orlando." Dan said.

"Us too. Hey you're from O-town aren't you?" The mother asked Dan.

"Yup. Dan Miller. Nice to meet you." Dan said to the mother.

"Who's your friend?" The mother asked towards Devon.

Devon thought about it for a second and then took off his hat and
sunglasses.

"Mommy that's the quarterback from 'Little Giants'." Sean said recognizing
Devon from the movie.

"Devon Sawa. Nice to meet you." Devon said.

"Well two celebrities just happened to save my little boy. My name is
Angela." The mother said as they all laughed. "If you guys are from
Orlando, then you're both welcome to come and see Sean and I whenever you
want. It's the least I can do for helping me." The mother said.

"Sounds great." Dan said as he winked at Sean.

"I've actually been looking for people to fill in for me watching him when
I go out on dates. I'm a single mother and it's so hard trying to take care
of Sean and keep a job together on top of trying to find him a steady
father." Angela said.

Dan and Devon looked at each other and gave each other a knowing glance.

"Anytime we're home you can give us a call and we'll come and help you
out."  Devon told the lady.

"That would be great. Thank you so much. Well we should really get going.
Here's my number. Whenever you guys get home give me a call and we can all
talk over coffee or something." Angela said as she said goodbye and walked
off in the other direction.

Dan and Devon looked at each other again after she left and just knew that
they were doing the right thing. They headed back over to their towel and
walked back to the hotel to get ready for dinner plans for Valentine's Day.

Trevor woke up with a massive headache. He looked over at the clock on the
night table and saw that it was 11 AM. He got up out of the bed and held
his head as he felt like he was going to fall over. He looked down and saw
that he was only in his boxers. He saw his clothes on the floor and was
reminded of the night before and his experience with Lance. He thought of
Lance and then remembered he was still in his house.

Something had woken him up and with one good whiff he recognized what had
done it.  Lance must be cooking breakfast so Trevor made his way out to the
kitchen.

"Good Morning sleepyhead." Lance said as Trevor walked into the kitchen
groggily.

"Morning." Trevor said as he sat down at the table.

"Sleep well?" Lance asked as he put a plate of eggs, bacon and toast in
front of Trevor.

"Yeah, thanks. Lance, can we talk?" Trevor asked trying not to avoid the
conversation.

"Sure." Lance said as he sat down at the table with his plate.

"About last night..." Trevor started but looked like he didn't seem to
know what to say.

"Let me." Lance started. "We were both drunk last night. What we did was
what we did.  I would totally understand if you just left after breakfast
and never came back. It wouldn't be the first guy to do that." Lance said
as he started down at his plate.

"Lance..." Trevor cut him off. Lance looked up at him with those green
eyes that seemed to capture Trevor in a place where he couldn't
escape. "Can you help me find out who I am?" Trevor asked

Lance smiled. "Of course. Let's talk."

Both men talked for the whole day, discussing what it is to be gay,
straight, bisexual or whatever. They simply sat on a couch and got to know
one another and contemplated their lives. Trevor thought about his life. He
was always taught that homosexuality wasn't the proper way to live but then
again his life sucked lately. He felt happy with Lance last night and he
felt happy just sitting here talking to him.

"Lance, I don't know how to say this but I'm happy with you. You make me
forget about all the bullshit in my life. I'd like to try it out if you
want to." Trevor said.

"Are you sure you want to get into a gay relationship? I don't want to do
anything you don't want to." Lance said.

"I know that I feel good with you and I shouldn't deny my body or my
heart."  Trevor said with a smile.

Lance leaned in and gently kissed Trevor right where that smile was. Both
men enjoyed the kiss and pulled out and smiled at each other. It was a
simple smile. It was a smile that signified a new beginning. It's amazing
what just a smile could do.

Three couples quickly turned into five. Valentine's Day will do that.
There's an aura about the day that just brings people together. Lance and
Trevor started something that they weren't sure about but knew that not
giving it a shot would be turning their backs on their hearts.

Erik and Mandy decided to give it a try also after Erik finally confessed
his feelings for her. There was something about the way her red hair fell
over her face that seemed to just keep him in a happy place that he never
wanted to leave. The night that she came over for dinner with AJ and Jacob
she spent the night with him and they did nothing more than just an
innocent kiss. This meant more to Erik than a night of hot sex would. He's
had plenty of hookups. He needed someone to just appreciate him for
himself. The fact that they could just be together and not worry about
anything else meant so much to him.

AJ and Jacob was another of the couples. Many people wrote this couple off
at first. A lot of people thought that they wouldn't last but AJ's birthday
was a turning point for this now beautiful relationship. They both need
each other. Their relationship was a pillar of support for each
other. Valentine's Day meant something for them. It meant the sharing of a
life that neither of them were too familiar with but both accepted with
arms wide open. They knew it was good and even though they can't answer
many questions about it they just know it's good and not to worry about
small things like that.

Dan and Devon are a couple that know love will stand through anything. They
share memories when they are together but they know that when they are
apart just the thought of the other one can keep them together. Their
relationship was very romantic and spontaneous and it had a variety to it
that was truly admirable. They knew that the time they had together might
be short, which made them appreciate even more the time they did have.

Our last couple is Nick and Ashley, a true symbol of love. Their love had
already been tested many times and showed that even in younger stages it
will survive.  They always put each other first and know what needs to be
done in the name of love.  It's done in the way they make love, in the way
they say "I love you", in the way they feed each other breakfast, in the
way they simply hold each other. It was the little things that made a
relationship last and these two are an example that couples around the
world can learn from. If you don't put the other one first then it's not
even worth the shot. You have to give something good to get something good
in return. Nick and Ashley truly knew what has to be sacrificed for the
better good of their love.

<<<<I seemed to get a little philosophical at the end there...sorry about
that. Sorry also for the lack of Nick and Ashley in the past two
stories...I'm thinking about writing a chapter with just them in it or
very little of everyone else at least. We'll just have to wait and see I
