Nick and Ashley- Chapter Twenty-Three

The hotel suite was nothing short of spectacular. It contained a living
area with two large couches, a kitchen area with a fridge and dining
room. It connected to a bathroom that contained the Jacuzzi that they had
already shared. This connected to the master bedroom, which contained a
king size bed. Finally, there was a balcony that looked over the beautiful
ocean. The Bahamas truly was an amazing place and Nick and Ashley knew
it. They knew that this week was theirs and nothing could take it away from
them, or could it?

The sun shone through the large window right onto the face of a man that
most girls could only dream of being in bed with. The sun was asking for
him to wake up, which was something that he wasn't ready for. He cuddled up
to the chest that was next to him to hide from the sun's attack. This chest
was that of his boyfriend Ashley's who lay there just watching his lover
squirm to avoid the sun. Nick finally gave in and opened his eyes only to
see Ashley watching him through all of this with a smile.

"Morning Nicky." Ashley said.

"How long have you been watching me?" Nick asked

"About 20 minutes or so." Ashley responded.

"You've been watching me for that long?" Nick asked.

"Yeah just watching you sleep. You're real cute when you don't wanna wake
up." Ashley said with a smile

"Yeah well I'm still sleepy." Nick said as he put his head back in Ashley's
chest and cuddled up to him. "You wore me out last night." Nick said with a
laugh

"Haha, you can't go back to sleep though, I ordered us breakfast." Ashley
said as a knock came from the door. "And there it is now." Ashley said as
he got up and threw on a pair of mesh shorts and answered the door and
rolled the cart in. He took out a plate of food and sat back down in bed
with a tray.

He picked out a piece of sausage and fed it to Nick, who kissed Ashley's
finger as he placed the food in his mouth.

"Mmm I could get used to waking up like this." Nick said.

"Yeah well it is vacation and all." Ashley said as he fed Nick a piece of
egg with the fork.

"As long as I'm with you I'll enjoy it." Nick said as he leaned up and
kissed Ashley on the lips before taking a piece of bacon and feeding him
instead this time.

Trevor unlocked the door and walked into the O-town home in Orlando,
Florida. He was greeted by Jacob sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"Well, well, well the prodigal son returns!" Jacob said with a laugh.

"Hey Jake, what's up." Trevor replied.

"Not much, everyone's still sleeping." Jacob said.

"That's cool." Trevor said.

"So?" Jacob asked

"So?" Trevor replied.

"C'mon Trev, don't play dumb with me, where were you?" Jacob asked with a
smile on his face.

"I went drinking." Trevor admitted.

"And..." Jacob pried.

"And I met someone and stayed at their place." Trevor said matter of
factly.

"Trevor got some ass, alright sounds good. What's her name?" Jacob asked.

Trevor paused for a second, which drew a questioning look out of Jacob. "It
was a guy." Trevor said as Jacob practically dropped his fork on the floor.

"Did I catch that right?" Jacob asked

"Please don't tell anyone yet Jake, I'm gonna tell the guys soon but not
yet. I know I can trust you." Trevor said.

"You know me Trev. Ok so what was his name?" Jacob asked with a laugh.

"Lance." Trevor said.

"That's cool, is he...wait a second." Jacob started

"Whatever you're thinking, you're probably right." Trevor said with a
smile.

"Tell me you got with Lance of N'Sync." Jacob said.

"Yup." Trevor answered.

"Holy shit dude. That's hot." Jacob said.

"Like I said let's keep this quiet." Trevor said as he heard someone
walking down the stairs.

AJ walked into the room wearing just a pair of sweatpants. He was trying to
get the sleep out of his eyes as he sat down at the table next to his
boyfriend.

"Morning baby." Jacob said as he kissed AJ

"No me gusta la maņana." AJ said in Spanish.

"Hey, Ash is the only one of us that knows Spanish so no speaking it until
he gets back." Jacob said

"Don't worry, I don't know that much anyway. I wonder how those two
lovebirds are doing in the Bahamas." AJ said.


"I'll have the Chicken Scallopini." Ashley told the dark-skinned waiter.

"And for your friend?" The waiter asked towards Nick.

"I'll have the Fettuccini Alfredo. Can we have a bottle of Merlot also
please? Thanks." Nick said as the waiter left with the menus.

"Only you would find the only Italian place in the Bahamas." Ashley said
with a laugh.

"Anything for my baby." Nick said with a smile while pouring a glass of
wine for Ashley and then pouring one for himself.

"This is to our love, the most beautiful thing I know." Nick said as he
raised his glass.

"To our love." Ashley replied.

The food came and conversation was good as the two men enjoyed each other's
company.

"Let's play a game." Nick said.

"Ok." Ashley said as he gave his boyfriend a questioning glance.

"How long do you think that couple has been together over there?" Nick
asked as he pointed towards a couple where the man and woman looked bored
as if they didn't know how to talk to each other.

"I'm guessing first date." Ashley said.

"Maybe, maybe. How about that one?" Nick asked as he pointed towards a
couple that were holding hands just staring into each other's eyes.

"I'm gonna guess a little longer on that one." Ashley said with a laugh.

"Haha, ok one last one. That one over there." Nick said

Ashley looked over and saw a woman that he immediately recognized. Upon
seeing this woman he was confused and then infuriated. Nick saw that Ashley
was getting very mad just staring at the woman and he took a better look
and saw that it was Shellie, Ashley's ex-girlfriend. Nick cursed under his
breath for the fact that she was there. Ashley became even more confused
and mad when he noticed that Shellie was now walking over with this random
man.

"Hello Ashley." Shellie said

"Hello Shellie." Ashley responded.

"Have you met my boyfriend John yet?" Shellie said as John put his hand out
for Ashley.

"No I haven't, nice to meet you John. This is my friend Nick Carter of the
Backstreet Boys." Ashley said as Nick said hello to all of them.

"What are you two boys doing out here in the Bahamas?" Shellie asked the
two men.

"I could ask you the same thing." Ashley said with a scowl.

"We're just out here enjoying a vacation." Shellie said.

"Us too." Shellie said. "Well, I'll let you boys get back to your dinner.
Let's go John, back to the hotel. Let's enjoy ourselves while we're here."

"Good bye Shellie." Ashley said with disdain in his voice.

As Shellie was leaving she leaned down and whispered in Ashley's ear, "I
know everything." before walking away.

Ashley sat there in a trance as Nick kept trying to knock him out of it.
Ashley seemed to just stare through everything. 'How does she know?' was
all that could run through his mind.

"Let's go back to the hotel Nicky, we gotta talk." Ashley said.

The vacation was over. Everyone was back in Orlando for two more days and
then the touring started. There was only about one month left on the tour
and then they were done, but then of course came recording in the studio
and promotional things. The life never ended but that was the price one had
to pay to be a star.

Nick had calmed Ashley down, deciding that they will both call Clive and
figure all of this out tomorrow before they left for tour. Erik and Mandy
went out for dinner, AJ and Jacob went down to AJ's house in West Palm
Beach, Trevor and Lance decided on a movie and Dan and Devon went to go
visit Angela and Sean. This left the house to Nick and Ashley all by
themselves.

"Finally alone." Nick said as he closed the door. He walked upstairs to
Ashley's room and saw a worried 20-year-old sitting in the center of his
bed. He looked up to Nick with his puppy dog blue eyes while biting his
fingernails.

"Even though I know that you only bite your nails when you're worried or
upset, you're still extremely cute when you do that." Nick said trying to
cheer up his boyfriend.

"I don't know Nicky, I just want to get all of this settled." Ashley said

"We'll call as soon as we wake up tomorrow ok?" Nick said to comfort him.

"Ok I guess." Ashley said as he laid down on the bed.

"For now let's try to forget about this and enjoy the time to ourselves."
Nick said as he began to lift Ashley's shirt and kiss his chest. He licked
around where his pecs met and worked around his nipples. He flicked his
tongue at the now hard nipples and began to massage Ashley's bulge through
his tightening pants.

He moved his tongue down towards Ashley's belly button and licked in it
while unbuckling his jeans and lowering them so Ashley was in just his
