DISCLAIMER: I don't know O-town and am not implying anything. I am not
affiliated with them or J records or MTV or ABC or anything. The only thing
I have remotely in common with these boys is that Ashley Parker Angel and I
were born on the exact same day.

Nick and Ashley-Chapter Nine

They sold out Madison Square Garden...both nights. They sold out the
Meadowlands in New Jersey. The concerts in Boston and Providence were
already sold out for after Christmas, no doubt making for some great
presents to many young girls. The "Passing The Torch" Tour was breaking
sales in records time and a live CD was even talked about being produced to
be sold at record stores. On top of all that, O-town was one of the
headlining acts for MTV's New Year Eve Spectacular. These boys were
definitely on top of their prime. These were all many things to be grateful
for but for two certain lovers, Christmas Eve meant something else to be
thankful for.

Nick and Ashley were alone. They decided to stay together for Christmas
using the tour as an excuse to not be home, which was perfectly fine with
them since the current situations with both of their parents weren't good
these days. Nick always had issues with his mom and the way they both think
his career should go. Ashley was always fighting with his parents. Both men
decided that Christmas together was a good idea.  They decided to spend
Christmas Eve at Nick's house in Apollo Beach, Florida.  After spending the
evening together, they were going to drive down to AJ's house in West Palm
Beach and spend the day at his house where Howie would meet them there for
Christmas Day.  This was the Florida crew. Jacob and Trevor hitched a
flight back to California and Dan went back to Ohio to be with his
family. Brian and Kevin, being cousins, went back home to Lexington,
Kentucky.

Nick and Ashley were in the kitchen cooking up a nice Christmas dinner for
themselves.

"I think that about does it, wouldn't you say?" Nick asked.

"Yeah I think that's enough for just us two." Ashley responded as he
brought over the plates of turkey, pasta and other Christmas specialties.

Nick reached into a cupboard and pulled out a bottle of Strawberry White
Zinfandel and poured them two glasses. Both men sat down and Nick raised
his glass and began a toast.

"This Christmas dinner is to our love and for a long relationship that I
can't wait to share with you." Nick said as they tipped glasses and both
took a drink. They both reached over and kissed to seal it. They began to
dig in to the mean that both of them had cooked together.

"Everything came out great." Ashley said.

"Yeah, I guess being on the road so many times taught us how to cook." Nick
said.

"I guess. I'm really glad we're together on Christmas Nick." Ashley said.

"Me too Ash. Me too." Nick said as both men continued to feed their
stomachs, just enjoying each other's company.

After dinner was over both men brought all the dishes to the sink and
decided to clean up tomorrow. Nick grabbed a plate with a rather large
piece of apple pie, which they had also made together and took Ashley's
hand and led him into the living room.

It had a large window looking out over the ocean. Nick pulled the couch
around and turned it to face the window. He went back in the kitchen and
grabbed a bucket of ice cream from the freezer and brought it out. He sat
down on the couch, put some ice cream on the pie, grabbed the plate with a
fork and looked up at Ash.

"Come here" Nick said

Ashley laughed at his boyfriend and walked over to the couch and laid down
in Nick's lap. Nick clapped twice, which shut off the lights and then
clapped three times, which turned on the Christmas tree.

"You're too much Nick" Ashley said

"I know" Nick said proudly

The setting was so comfortable and relaxing. Nick and Ashley had finished
the piece of pie and were now lying down just watching the ocean while Nick
played with Ashley's hair.

"This is getting kinda long huh?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, I don't think it's gonna get much longer though. I liked it better
when it was short, like in the first season of the show." Ashley said.

"You could always get dreadlocks like Jacob" Nick said jokingly

"No thanks." Ashley said.

"I like it short and long. You look sexy all the time." Nick said.

"Thanks baby" Ashley said.

"No problem. Are you ready for presents?" Nick asked

"I almost forgot about them cuz I was enjoying my time with you. Let's open
them. I put them under the tree." Nick said as he went over and grabbed the
gifts and came back.

"Open mine first" Ashley said.

"Ok" Nick said as he opened the gift and pulled out the gold necklace that
Ashley had bought for his boyfriend.

"Oh my God Ash it's beautiful. Thank you so much." Nick said.

"Do you like it?" Ashley asked.

"I love it" Nick said. "Wow, can you put it on me?" Nick asked as he turned
around and Ashley fitted it to his neck.

"Thank you so much" Nick said as he gave Ashley a kiss on the lips. He
pulled back and handed Ashley his gift. "Open mine now"

Ashley took the gift and pulled the wrapping off and revealed a box. Ashley
immediately got nervous and then calmed himself down remembering that it
was barely a month since they had been together and Nick wouldn't do
that. He opened the box and saw two rings made of white gold. He pulled
them out and saw that each one was engraved with the word "Promise".

"They're promise rings. We each get one. It's a promise to each other that
we can do this together. If we're ever apart we can always look at the ring
and know that we're there for each other." Nick said

"I love it Nick." Ashley said with tears in his eyes.

"What's the matter Ash?" Nick asked worriedly

"I just can't believe I've found something so great." Ashley said through
tears as he pulled the rings out of the box and slipped one onto Nick's
left ring finger and put the other one on his.

"I also got you these, on a happier note." Nick said as he gave Ashley an
envelope.

"The rings were enough...you didn't have to" Ashley said.

"You know my answer to that." Nick said.

"I know I know you wanted to." Ashley said as he opened the envelope and
pulled out two plane tickets to Hawaii.

"Wow Nick. I don't know what to say." Ashley said

"I guess I'm gonna have to do the talking tonight" Nick said jokingly "We
have about a week off from the tour in the middle of February so I figured
we could spend Valentine's Day there."

"That's awesome Nick. I can't wait. What did I do to deserve someone so
great?" Ashley said as he leaned into Nick and began to kiss him
deeply. Both men kissed long and hard.  Ashley slipped his tongue into
Nick's mouth and he accepted it gladly.  Ashley laid on top of Nick on the
couch grinding his hips in between Nick's legs. Ashley couldn't remember
being harder and by the feeling of Nick's dick through his jeans, it seemed
like Nick was feeling the same way.

Ashley pulled back a little and began to work on Nick's neck. In between

grabbed two blankets on the way out off the couch. They went outside down

blocked off, mostly by his rather large estate. Nick laid the blanket down
and looked into Ashley's eyes.

"I love you Ash." Nick said as he began to kiss Ashley and lift up his

then took off his own.  Both men were still standing, which made it easier
for Nick to undo Ashley's belt and lower his jeans as he kissed his
