Subject: "Nick and Justin" part 13

Hello again! This is now the thirteenth part to this story. I'd like to
thank everyone who has e-mailed me with their comments and questions on the
first twelve chapters. I can be reached at BrwyMilo@aol.com. I have a new
story out as well. It is a collaboration with RJ, the writer of "N'Sync and
RJ". It's called "Lost and Found." If you get a chance, try to give those
stories a look as well. This story is not meant to imply anything about the
sexuality of anyone involved. It is purely a work of fiction thought up in
my head. That said, enjoy the story.

                    *******

"Justin, calm down," Nick said as he and Brian chased Justin through to
the dressing area. Justin walked right into the dressing room and threw
himself down on the couch. Brian nodded at Nick he walked into the room.
Nick closed the door behind him, leaving Brian to stand guard against anyone
who might walk in. Nick walked over to where Justin was sitting and sat
down. He put his hand gently on Justin's thigh and sighed heavily. Justin
quickly jerked his leg away.

"Careful, Robert might see," he said spitefully. He looked up at Nick
and shook his head. "Why would they do that to us? Do they want us to come
out of the closet? Is that their goal?"

"Justin, you know that's not the case," Nick said soothingly.
"Management wasn't thinking of this as a way to punish us! Why would they?
They're doing this because they are management and are trying to get us some
good publicity. That's exactly what this guy is here to provide. No one is
out to get us or try to hurt us, Justin."

"But Nick, this guy will be following us all over. Don't you think he's
gonna find it odd that you and I share a room? And that Brian and JC share a
room too? How do you plan on explaining that?"

Nick sighed and stood up. "Justin, we'll cross those bridges when we
come to it. We can say we're working on songs for the CD. Or that we became
really good friends and decided it would be easier to share a room. It
doesn't matter what we tell him Justin. Management won't let him print
anything bad. I'm sure it says something somewhere in his contract."

Justin still looked uncertain. Nick looked into his wide eyes and
couldn't help but smiled. "You told me you trusted me Justin. Trust me
here." He put his arms around Justin and pulled him into a tight embrace.
"Come on baby. It's going to be alright." Justin sighed and released
himself to Nick.

"I really hope you're right," he whispered.

Brian waited outside the room. After a minute he sat down on the floor,
brought his knees to his chest and his chin on his knees. He looked from
side to side and wondered if he would have to stand guard outside of a
dressing room often. He leaned his head back on the wall and yawned. Then
he jerked his head up. Someone was coming. He stood up and looked down the
hall. His heart slowed back down to normal pace as he saw JC approach. "Hey
hun-I mean JC. Christ I don't think I'm going to be able to get used to
that."

JC laughed. "I know, I know. But we're going to have to. However, I
hear he won't be traveling on the same bus as us, so..." He smiled and raised
his eyebrows at Brian. Brian laughed and pulled JC down.

    "You horn-dog."

JC looked at him and laughed. "Well, you know me." He leaned forward as
if to kiss him but then withdrew. "Ugh, looks like I have to get used to
this as well." He looked at the closed door to the dressing room. "Anybody
in there?"

"Nick and Justin are in there right now."

"Well, let's get them and then head back to the bus." He laughed
slightly, then said, "Watch this." He knocked on the door sharply and
lowered his voice. "Hello," he said as deep as he could. He pressed his ear
to the door and heard muffled speech followed by footsteps. Nick opened the
door halfway and stuck his head out. His hair was a bit wild and half of his
shirt was untucked. He look one look at JC and Brian and started laughing.

"You jackass," he laughed. He opened the door and let them in. Justin
was lying down on the couch. He looked at them and grinned.

"That was harsh," he said as he smiled.

JC plopped down and sat on Justin's lap, causing Justin to groan. "Had
to do it. I wanted to see what you're reaction would be." He looked at
their disheveled appearance. "It was amusing. But look guys, we all have to
be really careful here. I don't want this guy finding out about anything."

"JC, we know. We're going to be very careful."

JC sighed. "Well, we'll try to make the best of the situation." He
walked over to Brian and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Well, let's
get back to the buses I guess. We're staying a hotel here in town, so you
guys get some peace tonight."

Nick sighed heavily. "I'm not so sure about that," he said suddenly.

Justin looked up at him. "What's wrong?"

"Well, my parents want to meet me at the hotel. I was kind of hoping you
would be there too," Nick said as he looked at Justin.

Justin looked like a deer caught in the headlights for a moment. Then he
breathed in deeply. "Of course I'll go with you to meet your parents. But
is it a good idea? Is this when you're planning to tell them?"

"Well...I guess so," Nick said with a smile. "No time like the present."

"Well, of course I'll go with you. You were there for me and I want to
be there for you."

Nick hugged Justin tightly. "Thank you," he whispered into his ear as he
gave it a short kiss.

JC smiled at them and then cleared his throat. "Well, come on then.
Let's get over to the hotel." They all sighed and stood slowly, careful not
to show any signs of romance between them once they left the doors.

Kevin was waiting for them at the doors to the bus. "What took you guys
so long," he asked as they hopped on.

"We were just discussing a few things," Brian told his cousin. As he
started to walk to the rear of the bus, he stopped dead where he was. He did
a 180 and ran back to Kevin. "Kevin, what the hell is Robert doing on our
bus," he whispered harshly.

Kevin sighed heavily and sat the guys down at the table. "Look, he has
to spend some time on the bus with us. He's just going to get a little
footage, a few minutes of us talking, and that's all. He won't be here the
entire time, don't worry."

Justin sighed loudly and laid his head down on the table. Nick wanted to
give him a kiss to comfort him, but he knew he couldn't. At least not with
Robert around. Instead he laid his own head onto the table as well. He put
his mouth close to Justin's ear and began to whisper. "Please don't Justin.
You're breaking my heart here. Come on, it'll be over soon." He blew gently
at Justin's ear and Justin looked up and smiled.

"You always know what to say, don't you?" Justin placed his hand briefly
on Nick's thigh and then withdrew it. "Well, I'm gonna head over to my bunk
and get a little rest. Just tell me when we're at the hotel. Justin walked
to the rear of the bus and hopped into his bunk. Robert watched him as he
walked by.

    "And Justin sleeps nonstop?"

Joey and Chris laughed. "I think that's an understatement," Joey said
through his laughter.

"Sleep is his natural state," Chris added. Robert laughed as he wrote
everything down. "Now what about relationships? Any of you guys involved
with anyone right now?"

Joey and Chris exchanged awkward glances. "Um, well..." Joey stuttered.

"No, none of us is seeing anyone right now," Kevin said quickly as he
walked over to them. "Although I hear AJ has a date with Britney tonight,"
he added as he smirked at AJ.

"That was off the record man," AJ said quickly. "It's just dinner."

Robert laughed and put his pen down. "Well, that's enough right now
guys. What we're going to be doing is just some random filming, getting some
candid shots. Basically just trying to be an observer."

"Sounds like fun," Howie said through a fake smile. He knew what torture
Nick, Justin, JC, and Brian would be going through. "I hope management gets
what they want."

"Oh, I think they will," Robert said as he walked away. 'Or at least I
will,' he thought to himself.

                            *******

"Justin, get out of the bathroom. I'm sure you look beautiful," Nick
said as he looked in one of the mirrors in the hotel room. He was wearing a
black Armani suit jacket and pants, with a white Calvin Klein T-shirt
underneath. His hair was slicked back and had a bit of a "wet-look" to it.
He smiled. Then he began to laugh at himself. He thought it was cute how
Justin was trying so hard to look nice for his parents to impress them.
"Justin," he laughed finally. "We gotta go hun!"

Justin opened the door and flew out of it. He was dressed all in black.
In fact he was wearing the same clothes as Nick was except his T-shirt was
black. Nick looked at him and whistled. "Sexy." Justin looked nervous.

"Are you sure I look alright," he asked as he inspected himself again in
front of the mirror. He picked a small piece of lint of off his suit jacket.

"You look gorgeous. Hey! We even look like twins," Nick added with a
laugh.

Justin finally looked at what Nick was wearing and stopped. "Oh no! I'm
changing," he said as he headed back into the bathroom. Nick grabbed his arm
before he could make it.

"You are doing no such thing. You look beautiful and you are not getting
out of those clothes until I remove them from you personally!" Nick smiled
and gave Justin a kiss on the lips. He started to put his arms around
Justin, but Justin quickly pulled away.

"Stop! You'll wrinkle...something..." Justin looked again in the mirror
and finally seemed satisfied.

"Let's go stud," Nick laughed as he led him out of the room. They walked
swiftly down the hall and got into the elevator. As it moved down to the
lobby, Justin began drumming his fingers on the rail. "Justin, you need to
calm down baby!" Nick placed his hand on Justin's to stop the drumming.
"They will love you as much as I do." He kissed him lightly on the cheek and
looked at him again. "And you do look wonderful."

Justin smiled and calmed down. He remained calm right up to the point
where the elevator stopped. "I can't do this," he said again.

"Too late," Nick said as the doors opened and he and Justin walked out
into the lobby. Nick looked around and saw both his parents waiting
patiently on one of the large leather sofas. Nick looked at Justin one more
time and saw him more nervous than he had ever seen him before. "Justin,
stay calm. My parents can smell fear," Nick said with a laugh. He led
Justin over to where his parents were waiting. They spotted him approaching
and got huge smiles on the faces.

His mother quickly rose and threw her arms around her son. Nick hugged
her happily. "Hi mom," he said as she patted his back.

"I've missed you so much," was all that she could say. After a minute
she released him. He shared a shorter embrace with his father. Then he
turned to Justin.

"Mom, Dad, this is Justin Timberlake. I stayed with him for a few days
and got to meet his mom, so I thought I'd invite him to meet mine." Justin
stepped forward and smiled as best he could.

"Hello Mr. Carter," he said as he shook Nick's father's hand firmly.
"Mrs. Carter."

"Please, call me Jane," Nick's mom said as she smiled warmly. "All of
Nick's friend's do."

"Well, I don't mean to rush, but we have reservations," Nick's father
said sternly. Justin panicked a sec and watched as Mr. Carter led Mrs.
Carter out through the lobby. Nick and Justin followed closely behind.

"Don't worry," Nick whispered. "They love you." Justin sighed and
followed Nick out of the hotel and into the waiting limo.

                            *****

Lance sat at the bar and downed another shot of vodka. His thoughts ran
wild through his head. 'No one gives a shit about me. Justin certainly
doesn't.' A tear ran down his cheek as he thought of his sweet, innocent
angel. 'Why would he want me? He has Nick. And Nick is wonderful to him.
I can't make him love me.' He grabbed another shot and threw his head back
quickly, swallowing the drink in one short gulp. 'No one would care if I
died right here, right now.' He looked around the bar and laughed. 'No one
here even recognized me,' he thought with a laugh.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw someone staring at him. He turned to
face him. He was young, probably 18 or so. He had short blond spiky hair
and bright blue eyes. Lance tried to keep his jaw from dropping open. 'That
guy is so hot.' He watched in awe as the kid got up and walked over to him.
He sat down right next to Lance and smiled.

"Hi, my name's Don," he said as he extended his hand.

Lance gladly took it in his own. "I'm Lance," he said as he held it
gently. After a minute Don looked down at their hands.

"Are you going to keep this," he asked with a laugh, indicating his hand.

Lance looked at him and smiled. "Would you mind?" Don blushed and shook
is head. Lance smiled even wider. "What would you say to a drink?"

"I'd say bring it on," Don said with a laugh. Lance laughed with him and
called the bartender over.

"Bring us a couple of Jack Daniel's," he looked at Don's gorgeous eyes
and tried to lose himself in them. "And keep them coming."

                        *********

"Here you go m'lady," AJ said with a midevil accent as he held the door
open for Britney. She giggled at him and ran her hands down the front of her
dress to smooth the wrinkles from the limo ride. She was wearing a long
black velvet dress and her hair was pulled up.

"Why thank you sir," she said as she looked over at AJ. He was dressed
nicely in a pair of gray dress pants and a gray wool button down shirt. He
walked up to the host and they were seated immediately in a section towards
the back. As they were walking through the restaurant, Britney spotted
Justin sitting with Nick's parents. "Oh hey, Justin and Nick are over there.
Who are they with," she asked as she elbowed AJ.

"Oh, those are Nick's parents. Guess we should go over and say hello."
He led Britney over to the table where Nick and his family were sitting. "Hi
Jane, how are you," he asked with a smile. He looked down at Nick and
Justin, who seemed to be happy for the interruption.

"AJ! I haven't seen you in so long. And it looks like you haven't
shaved since then," she said with a laugh. "Oh, wait, aren't you Britney
Spears," she asked as she turned her attention to Britney.

"Yes ma'am," Britney responded with a smile.

"Don't call me ma'am. Call me Jane. Your touring with the boys I hear,
so we met get to see more of each other."

"Would you two care to join us," Robert Carter asked with a smile.

"Dad, I think they're on a date," Nick replied with a grin. "They may
want their privacy."

"Oh, sorry, I didn't know. Well you two have fun and leave us with these
screwballs," Jane said with a smile.

AJ and Britney both laughed and then said their good-byes. They headed
off to a table in the corner from where they could still see Nick and Justin.

As soon as they were seated Britney put her hand on top of AJ's. "Do you
think Nick is going to tell his parents about him and Justin."

AJ hadn't even considered that. He thought for a moment and then
shrugged. "I guess it's possible." He paused and looked at Robert Carter.
"I hope it goes well."

                                ******

The dinner proceeded without a hitch for Nick. He had discussed the
upcoming tour with his parents and they asked Justin about his family and
N'Sync. Justin seemed to calm down more as the evening continued and finally
seemed relatively loose as they were finishing up their meals. Nick took a
deep breath and told the waitress to bring some coffee over.

"I have to tell you guys something. Please understand that this is going
to be really hard for me. Just don't say anything until I'm finished
alright?"

He looked over at his parents who were now looking at each other
nervously. He glanced at Justin and saw that his legs were shaking under the
table.

"We're listening, son," his father said without emotion.

Nick inhaled deeply. "I've known something about myself for a long time
now, but never felt the time was right to come forward or tell anybody about
it. I was just planning on going as long as I could with this hidden inside
of me, but something's changed that." He looked at his parents whose eyes
were locked on him. "Sometimes the life someone plans for their child isn't
necessarily the life that the child was meant to lead. What I'm trying to
say is...I'm gay." He looked down at the table and waited.

His mother gasped and covered her mouth, but her husband didn't move. He
sat where he was; his eyes still fixated on Nick. "So what you're trying to
tell me is that you like men?"

Nick nodded slowly. He could feel his father's eyes on him. He looked
up slowly and saw the anger in them.

"This is not the life your mother and I want for you Nicholas."

"I know dad, but I can't do anything about that. This wasn't a choice I
made. It's just the way I am. Please try to understand."

Robert breathed heavily. He put his hand on his wife's and held it.
Then he looked at Justin as something in his head clicked. He looked from
Justin to Nick and back again. Nick saw what he was getting at and opened
his mouth.

"Yes dad. Justin and I are together. We've already told his mother."

Robert now seemed overflowing with anger. "So you're the slut who did
this to my son then." Justin looked up quickly, utterly speechless. He
looked over at Nick and then back down at the table. Jane saw his pain and
felt her heart melt.

"Robert stop it! Calm down," she said, trying to soothe her husband.

"I will not calm down. It's his fault that our son is like this."
Robert took his hand away and continued to stare at Nick.

"Excuse me," Justin said through his tears as he jumped up from the
table. Jane started to say something but thought it would be best to let him
go.

Nick saw Justin run away and felt his courage grow. "How dare you? Who
do you think you are to call the man I love a slut? Do you ever think of
what you say? Ever think that people other than yourself have feelings that
you may be hurting?"

"Nick, you will not speak to me like this," his father yelled suddenly.

"You know what? I don't care anymore! I'm not going to let you talk to
Justin and me like this. If you can't accept it, fine, that's your own
decision. But I will not change for you, and I'll be damned if I let you
hurt Justin!"

Robert jumped up from the table quickly, looking as if he might hit Nick.
Instead, he stomped off towards the door. Jane stood quickly to try to stop
him, but she couldn't. She sighed heavily and plopped back down in her seat.

"I'm sorry mom," Nick whispered slowly, trying to hold back his tears.

"You have nothing to be sorry about. You can't apologize for being gay
because it's not your fault. And after what your father did to poor Justin,
I don't blame you for going off on him." She smiled and took his hand in her
own. "I'll deal with your father. You go find Justin and make sure he's OK."

Nick got up and walked over to his mother's chair and threw his arms
around her. "You're the best, mom."

"I know," she said with a laugh. "Now go find him! I'll take care of
the bill"

Nick ran off to try and find Justin, but he didn't know where to look
first.

                            *******

AJ and Britney sat at their table, finishing their meal and talking. The
date was going better than AJ had expected. He found that he and Britney had
a lot in common and that she was really easy to talk to.

"You know what," he asked as he stared into her eyes.

"What," she asked, returning his smile.

"I'm having a really great time." He leaned over and gave Britney a
quick kiss on the cheek. Britney blushed.

"I'm having a great time too." She smiled warmly at him, but was then
distracted by something. She glanced over at the table where Nick and Justin
were eating and saw Justin jump up suddenly and run off. "Uh-oh," she said
as she watched him run by the table with tears streaming down his face. AJ
saw Justin run off and looked back at the table where Nick and Robert Carter
were in the middle of a heated discussion.

"Shit," he mumbled under his breath.

"AJ, I'm going to go check on Justin," Britney said as she stood up. AJ
simply nodded and told her to go.

Britney headed off to where Justin was sitting on the floor outside of
the restaurant. His head was buried in his hands and his knees were pulled
up to his chest. She approached slowly and kneeled down slowly, trying not
to ruin her dress.

"Justin," she said as she looked at his face.

Justin jumped a little when he saw her and nodded. He began to wipe the
tears from his eyes and started to stand up. Britney put her hand on his
shoulder and kept him where he was. "What happened?"

Justin started to cry again and she sighed as she watched him. "Justin,
listen, I'd love to give you a shoulder to cry on, but this is a velvet dress
and all, so why don't you help me out here?" Justin laughed and looked up at
her.

"You always know how to make me laugh, don't you?" He wiped his hands
across his eyes and stood up. Britney got up with him and waited for him to
tell her what happened. "Well, Nick decided that tonight would be the night
that he would tell his parents about us. So, of course I was stressing about
meeting them all night. Do I look alright, by the way?"

Britney started laughing a little. "Justin, you look hot!"

Justin smiled and said, "Thank you. So we get to the restaurant, and
dinner is great and all, but when Nick goes to tell his parents, his dad like
explodes. He...," he stopped momentarily and swallowed hard. "He called me
a slut and said that it was my fault Nick was gay." He started to cry again.
Britney could only watch as he sat back down to the floor. She got down
next to him and hugged him tightly, allowing him to cry on her shoulder. She
patted his back, but didn't know what to do. She sighed and then heard a
noise behind her. She glanced back and saw Nick standing there.

"Justin, I just found you a new shoulder to cry on," she said as she got
up. She looked down at the tear stained velvet at her shoulder. "Don't
worry about the dress. I'll just send the bill to your label." Justin
smiled at her joke and watched as she went back into the restaurant to find
AJ.

Nick walked over to Justin and hugged him tightly. "Listen to me. I
want you to forget everything my father said. He had no right to do that.
I'm sorry," Nick said into his ear.

Justin pulled back a little. "Nick, he called me a slut and blamed me
for you being gay. That's an awful lot to digest, don't you think?"

Nick sighed and agreed. "Yes, it is. But there is a bright side. My
mom loves you. She said she's gonna talk to my dad and try to get him to
come around."

Justin smiled and nodded his head. "Well, it's a start I guess..."

Nick smiled. "A damn good one too," he said with a laugh. "My mom can
be quite persuasive." Justin smiled lightly. "Come on, let's get a taxi
back to the hotel."

"Mind if we walk," Justin asked with a smile.

"I would love to walk with you. Let's go Cutey." Nick led Justin away
from the restaurant as they slowly headed back to the hotel.

                            *******

"Well AJ, I had a great time tonight," Britney said as AJ walked her over
to her room.

"I had a great time too Britney," AJ said as he stopped outside her door.
"I was wondering if you'd want to do it again sometime?"

Britney smiled widely. "I'd love to AJ!" She hugged him tightly and
gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Goodnight," she said as she opened her hotel
room door. He smiled at her as she closed it and then began to walk down to
his own room.

"YES!" he said to himself happily.

                    *******

Lance and Don laughed loudly as they headed towards the room they had
just rented at the Motel 6. After they finished drinking at the bar, they
decided it was too early to just go home. Don had suggested the motel and
Lance was only more than happy to oblige. Lance fumbled with the key a
little and laughed at his clumsiness. He threw it onto the floor and looked
over at Don.

"I don't think the key likes me," he said with a grin. Don laughed and
picked up the key, quickly getting the door open.

"That's OK. I do," he said as he ushered Lance into the room.

Lance immediately plopped down on the bed and lay on his back, his hands
at his side. Don shut the door behind them and locked it. He smiled and
walked over to where Lance was laying. "You're not tired are you?" he asked
as he straddled Lance's crotch.

Lance squirmed around a little and shook his head. "Not at all."

Don smiled and slipped his hand down Lance's pants, grabbing his erect
cock. "Good, because I'm hungry." Lance moaned as Don began to jerk him
off. Lance threw his head back and sighed happily.

'Is this what it's like to be happy,' he asked himself.

                                *******

JC heard the Brian singing in the shower happily. He laughed to himself
and sighed. He was dressed in his boxer shorts. He walked passed the mirror
and gave himself a once over. He turned to look at himself at every angle.
"Not too bad," he said as he walked over to the bed.

    The phone rang.

JC grabbed for it and caught it before the second ring. "Hello?"

"Is this JC," a voice said.

"Um, yea this is JC. Who's this," he asked as he laid back.

    "I know your secret JC."

JC sat up quickly. "What secret? Who is this anyway?"

"I know your secret and soon everyone else will too." The person on the
other end hung up quickly. JC listened to the dial tone and hung it up after
a minute of listening.

"Had to be a prank," he said quietly to himself. "It had to be. No one
knows but the guys. It must be one of them." These thoughts seemed to calm
him down as he lay back down. He heard Brian turn the water off and decided
not to worry him about it. 'I'll settle this myself,' he thought to himself.
 'Somehow...'
