Last time . . .

Back in Virginia.

"Dude! Why's that thing glowing?!?" Joey said as the red center of the
circle started to glow.

"I... I don't know!" Lance said equally as confused as Joey, "Beryl! Come
here quick!"

"What? What happened?!?" Beryl said appearing behind Joey and Lance.

"Look!" Joey said pointing to the circle.

As they all stared at the circle, a white transparent circular light shot
up around the gold boarder of the S.

This time . . .

Back in Moscow.

Justin had just finished getting his stuff together, when there was a knock
on his door. Cautious as he was, he grabbed a gun that he kept on his heel
and headed towards the door.

"Who is it?!" He said suspicious of who it might be.

"It's me, Josh!"

"Oh!" He said opening the door and putting the gun down.

"Hey.. what the!!! What the hell are you doing with a gun!?"

"Oh.. this?"

"Yeah, that!"

"Don't worry about it, it's just a precaution."

"Who did you think it was?"

"I didn't know, that's the whole point!"

"Whatever.. anyway, look. We could have my private jet come and pick us up,
or you could try and transport us and our things back to the estate."

"I could transport us."

"Ok, good, I was hoping you'd say that."

With everything brought into Justin's room, he attempted to transport Josh
and himself to their estate back in Virginia.

Back in Virginia.

As the circular shield went down back into the S, there stood Chris, Little
Justin and their dog.

"It worked!" Chris said, surprised at his success. Then he stumbled and
fell to one knee.

"Chris!" the three men said, as they ran down the stairs.

Once they got to him, they felt the floor of the circle start to
rumble. The ruby center started to light up again, and they stood and
watched. The same shield that had shot up from the S now shot up from the N
and the C. Again like before, luggage appeared on the green part of the
circle below the enchanted letters. As they watched the light show, they
saw two bodies start to materialize within the white shield. When the light
returned to the floor, there stood Josh on the C, and Justin on the N. They
all stood in shock.

"Justin!" Lance, Joey and Chris gasped.

Justin quickly looked at each of them and smiled. They all smiled
and then they slowly walked over in front of him.

"So, how's it goin?" Justin asked.

Chris put little Justin, and the puppy down and took a step closer.

"You are about the dumbest asshole I have for a friend! Give me a hug!"
Chris pulled Justin into a hug. Then one by one each of them gave him a
hug. Then they each stood in the lobby of the huge house and looked at each
other.

Chris felt a slight tug on his shirt and looked down little Justin who was
looking around.

"Daddy? Where are we?"

Chris smiled and picked up his son and said.

"Justin, these are some old friends. That guy over there is Lance, Joey,
Justin, and ... Josh."

"Hey, you got the same name that I do." Little Justin said addressing the
Big Justin. Justin simply nodded and that was it. He picked up his one
black bag and asked where his room was.

"I will show you." Lance said as he started to walk up the stairs.

As Justin followed, Josh looked back at Chris.

"Hey Chris."

"Josh," Chris put his son down and walked towards him, "It's good to see
you again."

"You too."

In Houston.

At the front of a large table, a man sat. He had five pictures in
front of him, and he was looking at each one of them carefully. He rubbed
the side of his face, and leaned back in his chair. The pictures were of
five people, three girls and two boys, each about 17 to 25. They all seemed
to lead completely different ways of life. One seemed to be Gothic, all the
way down to the pale skin. Another one was preppy, rich and popular. The
rest were a mix of everything from jocks to delinquents. He got up, walked
over to the window, and looked over the City of Houston. All the lights and
traffic had subsided, and the night was young. He ran one long fingernail
down the side of the glass, then turned back and sat in his chair.

"Where are you my children?" He said to the pictures, as he looked them
over again.

Soon the door to the room was opened and in walked a lady in a
short black dress with blond hair hanging down to the middle of her
back. She was tall, and gorgeous. There was something about her made that
made a man's skin crawl.

"Damouse, the other gods have arrived. I and the rest of us are curious as
to why we have all been summoned." She said with a slight snarl.

"All, in due time Cassandra. Please show them in. I have been awaiting this
day for centuries."

Cassandra frowned then left the room. She soon reentered with 10 other
Vampire gods behind her. They all sat in chairs and looked at Damouse.

"My fellow God's. We have come to a turning point in a war, that hasn't
even started." Damouse said with a slight, cockiness to his voice.

"What are you talking about Damouse? What war?" A male Vampire asked.

Damouse smiled, stood from his seat and walked around the table, making
each of the Gods watch him like a hawk.

"The war, that will ensure each of us, the world."

Laughter filled the room, as each of the Gods laughed in his face.

"Damouse, You fool! You know the Families will intervene, and the two
Chosen one will lead the way! And not even all of us combined can take the
Families!" A female Vampire added.

"Especially now that that Family has rejoined forces."

Loud chatter filled the room as the Gods discussed the fact.

"We can't stop them now." One said.

"We might as well put the stakes trough our own hearts. Two was bad enough
but all five!?"

"You remember how they took out Xiang!"

"And even if we did stand a chance against the Chosen ones, the other
Families would show up."

Damouse sat and listen to each of the objections.

"THEN!" He shouted. "We must combine our armies. We out number the
families! Damoka, how many legions do you have?" He asked one.

The Black Vampire stood and said.

"45, but they are small, no more then ten to a clan."

"Cassandra, how many are under your control?" Damouse asked moving towards
her.

"15 clans, each with a lord, and warriors, 125 to each." She said as she
looked at Damoka with a smile.

Damoka looked disgusted.

"Excellent! Arthur?"

"84 clans. Each located around the world. 14 to each."

"Comrades! What do we have to worry about? We each hold a great army, and
we can always get more! It's only a matter of time!"

The Gods looked around the table seeing if there were any objections.

"Damouse, The Chosen Ones will still intervene. And just the two of them
alone went through Damora's safe house like it was an easy obstacle course!
Even with all our legions put together, the Families will still be a major
threat." A male Vampire said.

"He is right. My safe house was a fortress. I'm surprised that as many made
it out as they did." Damora said as she leaned forward.

"We won't have to worry about the Chosen Ones." A voice said as the doors
opened and in walked a large Vamp about 6'10, and 322lbs.

He had long black and red hair that hung just slightly passed his
shoulders, and a black goatee.

All the Gods quickly jumped back. Chaos, was his name, and he had
been band from the counsel of the Gods, for being too ruthless. They all
jumped out of their seats except for Cassandra. She simply looked at him,
and went back to filing her nails.

"I'm sure you all remember Chaos?" Damouse said as he walked over to him.

Towering above the 6ft Damouse, Chaos seemed to be stalking each one of the
Gods with his eyes.

"Damouse! Are you insane?!" Damoka yelled.

"Insane for bringing me back to the counsel?" Chaos' voice boomed with an
evil tone. "You are the only one that is insane little one."

"Please, Chaos, have a seat. We were just talking about our plans for the
war."

Chaos sat down and the other God's slowly returned to their seats and
looked at Damouse, and then back at Chaos.

"Now, how many legions do you have Chaos? It has been a long time since we
last spoke of such things."

Chaos got an almost pleased look on his face. "3000, each, with 400 to
them."

Once again the room filled with chatter.

"Good."

By the end of the hour, all the Gods had agreed that a war would be
prudent. The only line of defense would be the families and they were
severely out numbered. Damouse discussed the plans and then got to the
most important part.

"The Dream Masters." He said as he looked around the room.

"We don't know where they are located . . . Do we?" Damora asked.

"Not at the moment, but, we have an idea. We think, the are headed for
Virginia and they have contacted the Chosen One."

In Virginia

Little Justin was running across the lobby being chased by the
small Jack Russell Terrier (Hence the name Jack). At the top of the stairs
was Josh, looking over the small boy. The dog was letting out high-pitched
barks and Little Justin was laughing. Josh smiled and tears started to form
in his eyes. He pulled out his wallet, and inside was an old picture, about
120 years old. There was a little boy sitting with his parents and smiling,
even though the pictures back then were supposed to have serious faces. JC
smiled and rubbed his finger down the picture of the little boy and said
under his breath.

"Only two days, that's all it took for you to grab my heart and now, you
won't let go."

The picture of Markus was all Josh had to remember the small boy he tried
to save from the only Vampire God that hurt anyone he cared about. Josh
started to let tears slip down his face, he wiped them away, and started
watching little Justin playing with the dog.

Justin was walking down one of the long corridors of the house when
he saw Josh sitting on the top of the stairs watching over the little boy
and dog playing below. He was looking over his small think pad and was
wearing all black like normal. He had died his hair blond again, and hadn't
changed much, except his eyes were now cold and hard. He cocked his head to
one side then looked at the tears running down Josh's face. He lightly
rolled his eyes, and then walked over and sat down next him on the stairs.

"Cute kid." Justin said as he shocked Josh.

"Oh, hey, Justin. Yeah, he is." Josh said quickly wiping the tears from his
eyes.

Justin looked at Josh's hands and then quickly took the wallet out of his
hands and looked at the picture.

"Demon boy? Where did you get this?" Justin said as he looked closer to the
picture.

"I found it in one of those little town historical society things. It was
sitting in a glass case that said above it, 'The only people ever murdered
in the town of Gallagher Colorado' or something like that. I don't even
remember the name of the town. So, I stole the picture. I figured he
deserved better than that."

Justin nodded then handed the picture back to Josh.

The laughter of little Justin could be heard and the two sat quite for a
couple of minutes before Josh asked.

"Why?"

"What?" Justin asked looking at Josh with a blank stare.

"I don't know what the worst feeling was. Hearing your mother say that you
were dead, or the fact of knowing that you were alive and didn't want to
see me. I mean, I know I can be cocky, but I was only doing what I thought
was right. Hell, it's been almost 10 years and I'm still getting used to
the fact that I'm a slayer."

"It wasn't just that Josh."

"Well, then what was it?" Josh said lightly crying. "Cause I would like to
know why one of my best friends just up and left with just a quick goodbye,
barely even that, not even to my face none the less."

Justin sat quiet, and looking down at the floor. Not saying a word, but
listening to everything Josh was saying.

"You knew that you and I were the ones that held the group together, the
ones that drew power from one another, and not our powers, the Power of
trust, and love. And you left. I don't care how tough you think you are
Justin." Josh said standing up and walking a little ways down the hall,
"But we needed you and you needed us, and you betrayed the trust, and your
teammates. Fuck that! Forget even the team thing! We were brothers! I.... I
dunno. I just hope you remember that I will always be there for you. I just
hope that you will be there for me." Then with that Josh left, Justin still
sitting on the stairs as he watched Chris come and pick up his son and walk
into the huge living room, so Little Justin could watch his favorite show.

Tears slowly crept down Justin's face as he slowly made his way
around the house exploring the complex. When he found the library he
stopped and looked around. Up on the top of one of the bookshelves was his
book. The spell book that he didn't take with him when he left. He held out
his hand and the book flew into it. He started flipping trough it. He found
all his old spells that he had memorized, as well as, some new ones. As he
continued to flip through the book, he found a picture of him and Sammy. He
quickly shut the book, put his hands over the top of the cover and closed
his eyes. He then slowly opened them and ran his hand over the top of the
book.
