Subject: Order of Light 2

Disclaimer: I don't know any of the celebrities mentioned in this story, so
I don't know what any of their sexual preferences are. This is totally
fiction, meaning it's FAKE none of it is real, except the boyband
N'SYNC. As usual if you ain't 18 or older don't read this, and if you're
offended by homosexual acts...why are you here? In any case enjoy the
story.

Author's Note: J.C.'s thoughts are in the <,>'s, Lances are in the (,)'s
and Justin's are in the *'s. any future thought signs will be noted as they
come up.


Last Time...

"Wow," was all I could say. Somehow this all made sense, despite the fact
that it was so unbelievable. "Um...guys where are we going?" I asked.

"Our training center." Justin answered.

And Now Chapter 2

"Ya'll have a training center here in L.A.?" I asked.

"Yea, we have one in Orlando too. We spend a lot of time in those cities,
so we figured it best to have a training center in each."
J.C. explained. We pulled into the parking lot of this warehouse looking
building. "Nice training center." I thought. "So, what are we doing here?"
I inquired.

"We need to teach you how to use your powers, and explain some stuff."
Lance explained. We walked into the building and it was huge. There were
sparring mats, weights, and weapons were hanging on the walls. I looked at
this place in awe, I've seen big houses before, but this place was a
trainers dream come true, it had anything you could want, even a little bar
looking thing in the corner. I turned and looked at the guys, they just
kind of gave me this funny look. "The locker room is over there. There are
some workout clothes in there for you. Let's go get changed and see what
you can do." Chris said. We all walked towards the locker room. *I get to
see this hottie change. This couldn't get any better!* We got to the locker
room and quickly changed. I noticed Justin was staring at me as I
changed. "Man, he's cute. Wonder if he likes what he sees." I thought. We
left the locker room all changed into proper workout clothes. Chris turned
to me and said, "Ok, let's see what you can do."

"Huh?" I replied not knowing what he wanted me to do.

"Show us how well you've taken control over you powers." J.C. said.

"He hasn't got control over them yet." Lance stated. "What happen earlier
was his powers acting in defense after being attacked by the demon."

"Well then we have a lot to teach him huh?" J.C. replied. "Well I suppose
we should start with the basics. Forming a psychic barrier, or shield
around yourself. All you have to is concentrate on magic coming out of your
power source to form an invisible bubble around you. Here try it, and after
you think you'd done it I'll throw a ball at you." I looked at him with
confusion written all over my face.

"Um...ok can you put that in dumby terms for me? What's a power source?" I
asked feeling stupid for asking.

"It's the source of which you draw your power from to perform spells, and
use your powers." Lance stated. "Here let me help you find yours. Close
your eyes and open your mind." I did as he instructed and he placed his
hands on my temples. Almost immediately I found myself and Lance is this
void with only a big glowing sphere of black and blue energy. "This is your
power source. A very powerful power source too might I add." Lance spoke,
but his lips did not move. "Don't be afraid I'm inside your mind so I'm
communicating with you via telepathy. Once you are able to use your powers
you'll be able to read minds and talk telepathically without being in
someone's mind. Oh and by the way. You're right, Justin is cute, and he's
single too. That whole thing with Britney is publicity, Britney gets in the
news more often, and Justin gets cover, so people stop saying he's gay, it
started hurting his image. "

"HUH?! How'd you know that?!" I said.

"I told you we can read minds, unless they are protected against it. Here's
how to protect your mind from telepaths and mind readers, but still be able
to communicate with us. Think of your mind, then visualized energy going
from your power source to your mind forming a barrier to protect it from
intruders." Lance said. As I did what I was told energy started leaving my
power source and forming a barrier around my mind. "Good job! You're a
quick learner." Lance complimented. Lance removed his hands from my temples
and I opened my eyes.

"Now all you gotta do to use your powers, is visualize your power source
giving energy to what you want to happen. Once you master it all you will
have to do is think of something and it will do it." JC stated. "Now show
us what you can do!" I closed my eyes, and thought of my power source, then
I thought of wind lifting me into the air, and I felt like I was floating,
I opened my eyes and I WAS floating in the air about 10ft maybe
more. "Wow. You're right Lance. He is a quick learner. It took Justin 3
days before he could channel the wind right so he could fly." Joey said,
making Justin blush. "What else can you do?" Joey yelled to me. I closed my
eyes, and thought water, and water shot out of my hand and drenched
Joey. "AH! It's cold! I'm WET!" Joey yelled stating the obvious.

"You want me to change that?" I yelled down to Joey. I then thought of
wind. A gust of air came out of my hand and blew Joey into a wall. I start
laughing.

"Talk about a blow dryer!" Chris yelled as he fell to the ground in a fit
of laughter.

"You think you're so cool now huh? I say we all take turns sparring him."
Joey said.  I came down to the ground.

I exclaimed, "You're on!" Joey was up first. He morphed into some doofy
looking thing I had once seen in a video game.I think it was Raiden from
Mortal Combat, but he still looked doofy. He raised his hand and lightening
came out of his hand and headed towards me. I raised my and thought of a
stone. A big rock came out of the ground and took the blast from Joey's
lightening. I ran up to Joey jumped on his head and a gust of wind carried
me into the air, I turned mid-flight and shot 3 fireballs at him, his
shield protected him, but he was still knocked to the ground.

Chris yelled, "My turn!" I came back to the ground and got into a fighting
stance. Chris teleported behind me trying to be sneaky, only to end up with
my open palm on his chest and me shooting a boulder out of my hand at him,
knocking him to the ground. "Wow!" Justin yelled. "I didn't know that he
could make boulders out of nothing! He's pretty strong, and he learns
quick!"

JC calmly states, " Ok, now it's my turn." I take my fighting stance facing
JC and he takes his. He flips up to me and starts swinging and kicking at
me with incredible speed. I block all his attacks with lightening speed, as
the other 4 guys gawk. I knock JC back with a gust of wind. Then I raise my
hands and I circle of fire surrounds JC.

"How's he able to keep up with JC? Tom shouldn't have the superhuman speed
that JC does. He's more powerful than I thought. No wonder they wanted to
kill him." Lance said to the other guys. "I'm next." Lance shouts. I
release JC from his fire prison. I turn to Lance and get into my fighting
stance. Lance and I start fighting and he did pretty well, but in the end I
blindsided him with a snap kick and he fell to the floor. "Is this the best
ya'll can do?" I mocked.

Justin said, "Well I'm the last. Always saving the best for last!" The
other guys just rolled their eyes at Justin's comment. I took my fighting
stance and so did he. He shot lightening at me, that I blocked with a
boulder, but Justin blindsided me with a massive snowball knocking me to
the ground. "Well, that wasn't so hard. I don't understand why ya'll had a
problem with him." Justin snickered. I got up and brushed the snow off of
me. I engulfed myself in flame to heat myself up seeing as fire won't hurt
me since I'm the elemental. Then I made the fire disappear. I turned to the
guys and Lance stated, "I think it's time to tell him the story behind all
of this." The guys agreed, and we all sat down at the bar in the corner of
the training center. "Long ago, when the world was first created, there was
Heaven, Hell and Earth. There was a war going on that humans didn't know
about, a war between good and evil. Evil wanted to make humans slaves and
rule the world, creating a Hell on earth. Good wanted humans to live their
own lives and create the world as they saw fit. Eventually, good won the
war, but they knew that there would be a day when humans would have to
fight the battle against evil on their own. So, God had his angels go and
find the most righteous people of Earth. They had to have 6 people to every
group and there were to be 7 groups. When they found them they were to tell
them the story and make them into teams of 6 people and the powers of the
angels would be divided between those 6 of each group. One would have the
ability to control the weather, one would have the superhuman abilities
such as speed, strength and all that, one would be a shape shifter, one
would be able to teleport themselves and other things. One would be able to
heal people, and have visions of events yet to happen. The final one would
be able to control the elements such as fire, air, earth, and water. These
people were sort of a hybrid. Humans with the powers of angels. These
people were reincarnated over and over again, always able to find their
other 5 teammates. They are the only defense against the evils of the
world. Over time we developed an order to things. We now have a
Headquarters, which is in Iceland. We have a council of elders. The whole
thing is called the Order of Light. You will have to go through some
screening with them, before you are officially part of our group. Just to
make sure you're the one." Lance stated.

"What kind of 'screening'?" I questioned. " Am I gonna have to give urine
samples?" The guys and I started busting up laughing.

Joey replied, " No, they'll just take a little peek around your mind to see
if you are going to switch sides. Then they test you to see how well you do
in combat. You have nothing to worry about."

"But until you have passed their screening you can't be taught anymore by
us." Chris stated.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go see this council and get me into this
Order of Light!" I exclaimed.

"Okay. Hold your horses Tom." said JC. He got up and started tracing some
weird symbol in the air. After he was done it started to glow and a doorway
of light opened up. JC walked through it followed by the other guys except
Justin.

"Don't worry it's just a portal. Come on." He said. He walked into the
portal, and I followed still not too sure about it. I came out on the other
side of the portal and feel kind of nauseous. Justin apologized for not
telling me that when you first start traveling through portals it makes you
nauseous, but that you get used to it.I looked around and there was nothing
around except for this huge building and some trees. We walked up to this
HUGE building, this place made the training center look like a one bedroom
apartment. We walked up to the door and were greeted by a man who had a
staff. He asked who I was and JC replied that I was the 6th member of his
group and that I was here to be screened. The man turned and said something
I couldn't understand, and the door opened. "Hmm...must be spell activated
door." I thought. We walked into this building and there were people
running around and flying around. We walked down the hall and turned there
was a MASSIVE door. JC said something that I didn't understand and the door
opened into this huge room with 6 chairs and a BIG table with 5 figures
behind it. The woman in the middle said, "Please all of you have a seat."
We all sat down. The woman motioned to the man on the far end of the
table. He stood up and flew over to me.

He said, "Just relax, this will only take a minute." He put his hands to my
temples and began to concentrate. I felt him enter my mind and start
looking over my memories. In a few seconds he was done, he took his hands
off my temples, and looked at the woman in the middle again, "He would not
betray us, he is indeed their sixth member." He said, then flew back to his
seat. The woman stood up and flew over to me. "You are very powerful I see
great things in your future. Due to the fact that we are busy dealing with
the latest threat you will not have to go through the physical tests, I
just trust that your teammates with insure your well being and training. I
look forward to seeing you again. Have a nice day." She said to
me. "Joshua, can I speak with you alone for a moment?"

JC replied, "Yes Oracle." He motioned to us and we left. A moment later JC
exited the big door and said to me, "We are allowed to finish your
training. We have a mission though. It seems there's a nest of vampires in
L.A. that Oracle wants us to clean out."
