Disclaimer - I do not know Justin from NSYNC, or for that matter anyone
from NSYNC, nor do I know Wade Robinson. This story is entirely
fictional, don't take any of it seriously, but I do hope that you enjoy.

Feedback is welcome at liberateme03@yahoo.com I like the good and the
bad, I'm thick skinned so that bad is good critiquing, and the good,
well, let's be honest....who doesn't like to hear good things about the
stuff they do. Hope you enjoy....

Eight months later....

"So man, you psyched?" Josh asked as Justin hopped into the car.

"Psyched for what? The first day of school, oh yeah, I'm thrilled."
Justin said in one of his normal morning tones. He was hardly the morning
person, moody and grumpy until he had eaten, and it was evident on this
day that he hadn't.

"Yeah jackass, the first day of school." Josh said sarcastically. "Cuz I
know how excited you are gonna be for chemistry and trig." Josh pulled
out from Justin's driveway and made his way towards the highschool. "I
mean for football season you spaz. Big year, starting qb, the shows
yours." Josh said with a smirk, one of those smirks that a friend uses
when they decide they are gonna live through a friend.

"Oh, yeah, that." Justin said, shaking his head as if in a daze. "Of
course I'm excited for that, but I'm not gonna hype it up, I'm just gonna
play, get out there, prove myself the first game, and then live the
glory." Justin laughed at the end, not being able to help the want to
gloat just a little.

Josh made the turn into the highschool lot, it being a short distance
from Justin's house. Justin use to walk to school when he was freshman,
but he coudln't do that now. If he didn't show up in a car it would look
bad, the fact that he didn't have a license looked back too, but he was
working on that. Josh parked the car with the rest of the football
player's cars, and they both stepped out. Josh was a kicker on the
special team, pretty good, not the typical jock type, but he fit in with
the crowd, a lot of talk and a lot of self hype.

"Curls, what's up?" Joey grbbed Justin into a bear hug, squeezing him
from behind as the crowd watched on laughing.

"Thanks Joe." Justin said, as he was put down trying to steady himself.
"What's up guys?"

"Not much man, just gonna be a good year, already been a good summer."
Joey said with a smirk, a deviant smirk as he winked at Britney who
smacked him across the shoulder as if she was appalled at his reference.
"Oh come on baby, don't make me look like a pussy in front of the boys,
tell 'em about our summer."

"They know about our summer becuase you are a horn dog and you tell
everyone." Britney said, with very little actual anger. She was a
cheerleader, her life was broadcast whether she liked it or not, their
was no sense in hiding it to her friends.

Bringggg.....

"Was that the bell?" Christina asked from the lap Nick, sitting in his
Corvette.

"I think so." Nick said, as he ran a hand up her leg, which she quickly
smacked down.

"I guess we can carry this conversation back on at lunch." Joey said, his
head gauging the crowd for answers. He got a wave of head nodding, the
best that could be done at that hour of the morning as they dispersed to
head to their first periods.....late, but that was acceptable at Down
Valley.

"So, you and Nick again?" Justin asked as Christina saddled up beside him
walking down the hall.

"No, just, same 'ol." Christina said with her quaint smile, her soft
spoken voice. "You know how he gets, new year, wants to put out his
domain, all full off himself." Justin laughed, knowing exactly what she
was talking about, having known Nick for years. "How about you though
Curls, you holding up?"

"What do you mean?' Justin asked, opening up his locker and sliding his
jacket in, as well as some binders that he knew would get no use.

"Don't play stupid with me, I'm not Josh and I'm not Britney." Christina
said with a serious look to her face, stepping in front of Justin,
practically placing herself in his locker to get his attention. "We've
known each other since we were......hmmm let me think.....ah yes, since
we took baths together at the age of 2. You don't play dumb with me boy,
I know that you're still hurting."

"You so quick," Justin said with a forced smile. "Of course I'm hurting,
but I'll get through."

"He's an idiot for dumping you Justin, and using college as an excuse
just proves that he wasn't thinking about what he really wants. He's just
a typical guy, action is his top priority." Christina said, rubbing
Justin's arm, soothingly.....Justin sort of blanked at that moment.

"Touching moment Mr. Timberlake and Ms. Aguilera, but touching moments
can happen in a classroom as well. You are ten minutes late for the first
day of school, I suggest you get a move on." Mr. Hardy barked from down
the hall, startling them both to make their move towards first
period.....study hall.
