Twisted History

Chapter 3 - Doors

I woke up hastily that morning. My sleep wasn't disturbed by anything I just
woke up. And it felt like I had been awake for hours. I looked out over the
room and I could feel the tranquility. It was like a fluid wich filled the
room. It felt really warm too and I realized that I should thank Lance for
that. He must have moved closer to me during the night for he was now lying
with his chest against my back. Skin against skin. He had put one of his
legs on top of my own and he held one of his arms over my chest and his hand
was pressed gently over my stomache. I could also feel his breath on the
back of my neck.

It felt really good to have Lance this close. I thought about it and
concluded that I should get out of bed before he wakes up. I wasn't sure he
was gay, afterall, everyone can easily move during sleep. So I decided to
get up so that no wierd moments would occure. I untangled myself from
Lance's limbs and rose to my feet. As I stood up I could feel the sun
shining in through my window and the sunshines hitting my face. I bathed my
face in the sunshine for a moment and then walked over to the window. The
scenery didn't look frightening anymore, now that the syn shone instead of
the rainstorm last night. I walked over to and put on yesterdays clothes and
sat down in the chair by the window. I rested my elbows on the windowsill
and rested my head in my hands. I was staring out the window and had the sun
in my eyes all the time. Thought about all that had happened and of possible
scenarios crossed my mind. I thought about me and Lance. I guess I worked up
hopes for him beeing gay but I knew that wasn't true. Things never turn out
that well. I still couldn't help but smile at him holding me like that. I
felt safe in his arms. I sat there and daydreamed until a voice behind me
brought me back to reality.

-"Good morning!" Lance spoke sleepily. I turned around and saw him propped
up on his elbows looking at me. The sunshines almost blinded him so he
turned his head away.
-"Good Morning. Slept well?" I had to ask that considering the way he slept.
-"Yes, I did."
-"Figures." I said without thinking and put my hand for my mouth.
-"Say what?"
-"Nothing. I haven't slept better either." I grinned as I thought about the
true meaning of that answer.
-"Must have something to do with this house."
-"Or the fact that we ran around this house late last night and fell asleep
before we could count to three."
-"Could be the answer."
-"I'm heading for the bathroom." Lance nodded as I went over to the door.

When I had done all my business in the bathroom including a shower I stood
by the mirror and looked at myself. I thought about all four of us stuck
here. I only stood there for a minute before Lance knocked on the door and
asked if he could use the bathroom soon. I opened the door for him and he
walked in. Lance stood still by one of the sinks.
I got the idea and walked out of there and closed the door behind me. Not
much later could I here the toilett flush and a shower starting. I walked
over to the wardrobe and opened it. I found clothes, I looked at a few
pieces and found the size was mine. I found everything in there. Underwear,
socks, pants and different kinds of sweaters. There where shoes and jackets
too. I picked out some clothes and put them on. I put my old clothes on the
chair by the window.

Lance was still in the shower so I took the key and unlocked our door and
headed out. I knocked on the door to the girls room and said it was me. They
screamed for me to unlock and come in. So I did and found them all dressed
in new clothes and ready.

-"Have you been up long?" I asked them both at the same time.
-"We've been up for an hour or two." Donna stated mather-of-factly.
-"Oh, as you can hear Lance is in there now."
-"We do. And we heard you too." As Donna said that, we heard the shower turn
off.
-"Let's meet in our room in twenty minutes." I said and turned around and
left. The truth was I hoped to catch Lance in just a towel. I knew the
chances was slim since his clothes were in there with him and he didn't knew
about the wardrobe.

I walked into our room and found Lance was still in the bathroom. I felt sad
but I got over it. I sat down and waited for Lance to get out of there. He
eventually got back and he was dressed. I told him about the wardrobe and he
found some clothes in his size. He took the clothes and was about to walk to
the bathroom and I thought that if I used the bathroom, he would have to
undress in here and then can I come back too early.
-"Please, change clothes here. I need the bathroom."
-"Sure!" Lance answered and put everything down on the bed. I walked over to
the bathroom and got in. I waited a brief moment and then flushed as I knew
he would hear that. I then turned on and off the water to make it seem as I
washed my hands. I walked back into the room and found Lance in his boxers
only. He looked up at me and then resumed taking his pants on. I took a
great look of him and he was really beatiful.

I saw Lance began to blush so I decided to be a bit mean. I asked him
bluntly:
-"Do you find it awkward to be naked around other men?"
-"I'm not naked!" Lance answered quickly.
-"Didn't say that but figured that since you seem to find it awkward to be
half-naked, then maybe you find awkward even when you're naked." I sat down
in a chair near him.
-"I...No I don't."
-"I mean, we have all been naked around men before. Gym class is a good
example."
-"Yes." Lance said and I saw in his face that he dreaded for the next
question; Why he'd blushed. But I'm not that mean so I didn't ask it. He
finished dressing without us saying a word to each other.

Not much later was there a knock on our door and the girls joined us. We
chatted for a brief moment and then went down to the kitchen. We may be
trapped but if there was fresh food, neither one of us would pass it away as
hungry as we were. We locked the doors after us and began walking down the
hallway. I took the lead and the girls followed closely. Lance walked in the
back. We reached the kitchen and divided all tasks that needed to be done.
We had made our breakfast quickly and ate it in peace.
-"Where did you learn to cook like that?" I asked Janet.
-"I'm a chef."
-"Oh. Where do you live?"
-"Sydney in Australia."
-"I've been there. I love Sydney and when you say it, I hear in your accent
that you come from Australia. It's not very obvious."
-"That is because I was born and raised in San Francisco. I moved to Sydney
for my chef education and then I never returned."
-"Explains alot."
-"Where do you come from?"
-"I live in Sweden."
-"I've never been there but everyone who have simply loves Sweden."
-"I guess."
-"So what do you do for a living?"
-"I'm a student."
-"What do you study?"
-"To be an architect."
-"Cool. You study at the University?"
-"University of Gothenburg. What do you two do for a living?" I asked Lance
and Donna.
-"I'm a stockbroker." Donna explained.
-"And I'm a singer." Lance cut in.
-"Where do you two live?" I continued.
-"I live in New York City. Manhattan more precisely." Donna was the first to
speak again.
-"I live in Orlando, Florida."

The conversation continued throughout breakfast and we had a good time. We
forgot about the situation and it relaxed us all. After breakfast we made
our way out of the kitchen. We stopped in the hallway and tried to come up
with and idea where to go. We decided to take a look in some other hallways.
We all wanted to do some more exploring. We took the stairs to the second
floor and entered the nearest hallway. All doors except one was closed. The
door in the end of the hallway was slightly open and as we got closer to it.
It slammed shut with a loud noise!
