Hope you enjoy the show oh I mean reading. ====================================== X-Sync The Power Within Chapter -- 10 by JT Poole // New York City, NY -- Department Zero Headquarters // "Feel the fury of the Phoenix!" JT screams floating into the air as the cosmic fire of the Phoenix Avatar blares around his body. "Okay buddy that's enough!" ESP screams flying towards JT. "I think not ESP!" JT screams using his powers to create a baton of energy, using it to knock ESP to the ground. "What the!" ESP screams, getting up off the ground and lunging towards JT again only to be knocked down again by the baton of energy. "Silly fool! Do you know who and what you are messing with? I'm power, unadulterated power!" JT screams, floating down to where ESP was laying on the ground. "It would be wise for you and your followers to leave me and my friends alone." "You can't make demands on me mutant!" ESP screams. "Maybe you have forgotten Mr. Daniels, but you are a mutant too." JT says, getting up in ESP's face. "You are a mutant just like the rest of us you have been hunting. What do you think is going to happen to you when all the other mutants have been captured and/or killed? The Right isn't going to keep you around here, so why are you fighting your own kind for people that hate and despise people like you?" "You filthy mutants will say anything to stop us from extinguishing you all. We will not stop because of the words of one!" ESP screams as JT's eyes start glowing. "You had a chance to leave them! You will suffer like the rest!" JT shouts, extending his arms as cosmic energy starts to flare around his body. "You were warned!" `Baby what are you doing?' Justin telepathically asks. `Not now Justin.' JT replies telepathically as he starts projecting beams of cosmic energy at ESP, causing the man to run away, not giving him a chance to become airborne. "You won't get away with this Psion!" ESP shouts, still running, as JT gets closer to him. "Oh believe me Mr. Daniels, I will get away with this." JT says as Sentinels surround the whole area. "Now it's a party." "Sentinels attack!" ESP screams. "I don't mind lettin' loose today." JT says, landing in front of the Sentinels. "One...two...three..." = HALT MUTANT! = "Four...five...six...seven..." JT says, phasing through each Sentinel and knocking out the power core in each one he phases through. "Eight...nine...ten...how many more of you tin cans have to fall before you figure out that I can do this all fucking day?" "Your power has to run out sometime Psion!" ESP screams. "When my power runs out, it will be the end of our world!" JT shouts, as the area around them got dark. "Hmmm must be Master Mold." = YOU ARE RIGHT MUTANT = "Well look what we have here." JT says, bowing down to the robot. "I think it's time for you to find out why I call myself Incognito." Just as JT spoke his words, his body starts to glow and he is shifted from this plane and he reappears in another reality. // Another Reality -- New Sanctuary // "Chance, Fox there's a problem." Seductress says speaking through the intercom. "What is the problem Salli?" Firefox asks. "We seem to be under attack by an unknown mutant." Seductress informs him. "Come on Brian might as well get back into the swing of things. You ready baby?" Firefox asks, kissing Chance. "You know I am baby." Chance says, smiling as he and Firefox kiss. "Son stay here, we will be back shortly." "Okay daddy." Dreamer says smiling as his two daddies disappear. // Outside -- A Few Feet Away // "Where the hell did I port to?" JT asks, looking around. "This looks nothing like New York at all." "Well look who came out to play." StarFighter says, laughing as she projects a beam of cosmic energy at JT. "I told you I would find you Firefox. I don't care if you have changed your appearance. You are still the same person." "What the hell!" JT shouts, his body blinking as he turns to face the woman that had attacked him. "Who the hell are you?" "What is this, some kind of game?" StarFighter asks, creating another energy spear and throws it at JT. "I don't know who you are bitch, but I am not going to allow you to keep doing this." JT says, flying into the air and shifting away only to reappear in the same place. "What the hell? I'm still here!" "I don't know what game you are playing but it ends now!" StarFighter shouts, projecting another spear at JT as Firefox and Chance appears. "Baby do you see what I see?" Chance asks, looking at the man in the air fighting with StarFighter. "He looks just like you, he just doesn't have all your hair." "I said this will stop and now!" JT shouts, flying higher as his eyes start glowing and the Phoenix Firebird Effect surrounded his body. "NOW YOU WILL STOP!" "What...what is that? What is he? It looks like my...my cosmic fire powers." Firefox says as he hugs Chance in fear. "What's going on Chance?" TimberWolf asks as he and Eclipse appears in a burst of light. "Wait a minute you are down here. Then who is that up there?" Eclipse asks, pointing at JT. "I don't know Nick but he...he looks just like JT." Chance answers as StarFighter comes hurdling down to the ground. "You will not get away with this FireFox!" StarFighter screams. "Get away with what StarFighter?" FireFox asks, looking at StarFighter as she does a double take. "What? That must be one of your psychic images!" She screams, taking a fighting stance. "I will kill you and that thing should disappear." "Not mine." FireFox says, jumping back as she threw an energy spear at him. "Watch it!" "I will not!" StarFighter says as everyone spreads out. "Fuck this!" StarFighter screams, pressing something on her costume and seconds later a portal opens and the whole area is filled with Hounds and Sentinels. "Oh Great!" JT shouts, landing down on the ground. "This gets better every second. ESP where are you?" "Fox who in the world is ESP?" Ariel asks as she and Void appears in his portal. "That's not Fox." Void says, grabbing Ariel as the two of them disappear into his portal. "Josh why did you pull us back?" Ariel asks. "That wasn't Fox." Void answers her. "I don't know who he is, but he's not Fox." "It could have been one of his psychic illusions." Ariel says, changing a setting on her laser bracelet and takes off running. "Stay out of trouble girl." Void says, disappearing from the scene. "Wow look at that." Eclipse says as JT flies through each Sentinel, causing each one to explode. "Yeah that guy is taking care of these things faster than they can reappear again." TimberWolf says, throwing a Hound through the air. "STOP!" JT shouts, raising his hands as everything around him freezes. "Whoa man look. He froze everything in place." FireFox says as he looks around. "Brian...Brian? Oh no, not again." "YOU THERE! WHO ARE YOU?" JT asks, the Phoenix Firebird Effect blaring furiously around his body now. "Me? Who the hell are you?" FireFox asks, floating into the air, his cosmic powers flowing freely now. "I ASKED YOU FIRST!" JT asks, floating towards FireFox using his cosmic energy to push the other man backwards through the air. "WHO ARE YOU?" "THE NAME'S FIREFOX! NOW WHO ARE YOU!" FireFox asks, using his powers to push JT back. "THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE. YOU LOOK...LOOK LIKE ME." JT says, the Phoenix Firebird Effect dampening down. "THIS IS ALL A TRICK!" "YOU ARE THE ILLUSION HERE!" FireFox says, creating a spear of energy in his hand and throwing it at JT. "AW HELL NAW! YOU CAN'T HIT ME WITH ENERGY LIKE THAT AND GET AWAY WITH IT. I WON'T LET YOU!" JT says, the Phoenix Firebird blaring again as JT lights up the whole skyline. "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BUT I DON'T CARE REGARDLESS!" Within mere seconds, JT and FireFox were floating around in the air attacking each other with their full might. Not able to beat the other, they stop and look at each other carefully again. "WHAT ARE YOU?" FireFox asks, floating back and projecting a beam of cosmic energy at JT, disturbing his concentration as everything around them starts moving again. "What happened?" TimberWolf asks, looking around to see that FireFox and JT are floating above them. "I don't know, but I think it has something to do with the other guy there." Chance says, disappearing and reappearing next to FireFox. "Who are you? What's going on here?" "Brian? Thank God. I thought I was loosing my mind." JT states, smiling as the Phoenix energy stops. "Baby you know this guy?" FireFox asks, looking at Chance strangely. "No baby, not unless he's one of your psychic clones." Chance says, looking between JT and FireFox. "He's not one of my clones." FireFox says as an energy spear from StarFighter passes through JT's chest. "Damn!" "Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!" JT screams, a mixture of his sonic, psionics and cosmic powers mixed into his pain as he lashes out at everything around him, knocking Chance and FireFox to the ground. "Oh Damn. I think she's killed him. It looks like his powers are dissipating from his body!" Chance says, grabbing FireFox as they disappear and reappear a distance away from the spot where JT landed. "What did she do?" Eclipse asks as a giant beam of energy erupts from JT's chest, causing the ground to shake. "Something's wrong Brian. He's me. He's me from another reality. I can feel his pain, I can feel his...his death!" FireFox screams, floating over to where JT was laying. "Baby no!" Chance screams as the sky went black and a strange like portal opened. "Void is that your doing?" "Not me." Void replies as Catastrophe, Spirit, Wildcat, Pull and Echo appear. "What the hell? Who are those guys?" Chance asks as one of the men float over to where JT was laying. "JT! God no!" Catastrophe shouts, as the other men float down behind him and hug him. "Justin calm down. I don't think he's dead." Spirit states. "Josh he's not moving damnit! There's a fucking whole in the middle of his chest!" Catastrophe screams. "Ah guys he's not alone." Wildcat states, pointing to the other people, the hounds and the Sentinels that were around them. "Spread out!" "No I have to get him home!" Catastrophe screams. "No Justin, we have to fight now!" Spirit says, floating up as he starts, telekinetically striking at the Sentinels. "Look out Justin!" Pull shouts, using his magnetic powers to erect a force shield in front of Catastrophe and JT. "Oh baby, please don't leave me!" Catastrophe shouts, telekinetically placing JT in a cocoon and floating through the air with him. "I have to get him to safety." "EEEEEEEEEEEE! We need you here man!" Echo screams, using his powers to blast the robots. "This is madness. Where are we any fucking way?" Wildcat asks, grabbing a hound and throwing it down on the ground and jumping up and down on the person. "I don't know Chris, but wherever we are, JT brought us here." Spirit says, floating into the air higher, lifting two of the robots and then dropping them, causing them to smash on the ground. "Wherever we are, this place doesn't look anything like home." Pull says, flying by and grabbing Echo. "Who are you people?" FireFox asks, appearing in front of Spirit and Wildcat. "X-Sync. Who the hell are you?" Spirit asks just as a robot falls at his feet. "X-Sync? What the hell is X-Sync?" FireFox asks, disappearing as a robot fell in the very spot he was standing in and then reappearing again. "We are guy. Me and my friends are part of X-Sync." Spirit says as the sounds of explosions could be heard. "Where are we Jos...Spirit?" Catastrophe asks. "I don't know. But I am sure that Incognito brought us here." Spirit says. "Where is he?" "I hid him in a psychic cocoon." Catastrophe replies as Chance appears. "Baby we have to get out of here. StarFighter has called in more hounds and more Sentinels. "What about these guys?" FireFox asks. "Take them with us. We just have to get out of here right now. We can deal with what's going on with them later." Chance says as he grabs Ariel and Bolt and disappear. `Josh I need you over here.' FireFox telepathically speaks to Void. `We need to teleport these new people to New Sanctuary.' `Are you sure about that Fox?' Void mentally asks, looking around at FireFox strangely. `Yes I'm sure. Just port them into the Combat Room and activate the force field.' FireFox says telepathically as he grabs Spirit and Catastrophe and disappears with the two men. TO BE CONTINUED...
