A/N: This is going to be a series with Captain America and the Young
Avengers. (who are owned by Marvel not me) Please feel free to comment and
offer constructive criticisms. I want to improve as a writer. And lastly
enjoy.

Captain America and the Young Avengers: Chapter 17

"Honey, Teddy's here." Billy's mom called out.

"He's here." Billy whispered to himself meekly, trying to convince himself
of the words. It would be his first time seeing Teddy again after they met
by the lake.

He knew they were avoiding each other because of the big V issue. They
traded a few texts and calls, but even there the tension was
obvious. Today, Billy would find out if there relationship could withstand
it.

Honestly, if he knew it would create this much tension between them he
would have never brought it up. He was just curious that's all. He wanted
to know what Teddy felt like. He thought it was the logical next step.

He tensed up as he checked himself out again. This was even more stressful
than their first date. He took three showers today, washing everything
carefully. He paid extra attention to his butt. He considered getting an
enema to make sure he was clean but he couldn't figure out if it would
work. He knew he was either going to lose it tonight or never lose it at
all.

Everything had to be perfect. Billy had spent two full days trying to find
the correct outfit. He finally settled with a black long sleeve button
down, folding the sleeves up to his elbows. He finished the shirt with a
blood red tie. He put own his sexiest skinniest jeans and matched it with
his semi-formal looking sneakers.

"I look like vampire." Billy admitted to himself. The only thing he was
missing was blood dripping from his lips and he would be every girl's wet
dream. Unfortunately, he wasn't after girls. He wanted a certain blond
blue-eyed alien. Admittedly though, he looked like a pretty hot
vampire. Who was he kidding? He needed to change.

"Teddy's here!" Billy's mom shouted even louder.

"Oh crap. Judgment day." Billy took a deep breath. He loosened his tie,
showing some skin at his neck. He took a deep breath and opened his room
door. He closed it again as he heard Teddy's voice, his amazingly sexy deep
voice.

He almost forgot the cologne. He sprayed himself haphazardly. Adding
another spray after realizing there was too little. He popped a mint in his
mouth. He checked his hair in the mirror. There was one uncooperative
strand. It was a good thing he didn't come down yet.

"Billy?" Billy's mom called out again.

"I'm coming down!" Billy finally stepped out of his room. He descended down
the stairs slowly. After all, if he wanted any chance with Teddy, he needed
all the ammunition he could get. In teen movies, the girl would always walk
down the stairs slowly, so the guy would have enough time to realize he was
in love. At least that's what happened in TV.

"Honey, we're in the den."  Billy heard his mom laughing.

"Mom?" So much for the stairs thing. Teddy didn't even see him. Come to
think of it, it didn't work on TV either.

"You took too long dear." His mom was smiling brightly, a mischievous grin
in her eye.

"Sorry." Billy apologized. He saw Teddy blonde head facing his mom. He felt
his breathing stop. Teddy slowly turned his head to face Billy. It's like
time slowed down, allowing Billy to see memorize the careful movement of
Teddy's body. He saw the smooth nape of Teddy's back, the silver studs
adorning his ears and finally the face that could make his heart beat out
of his chest.

"Hey Billy." Teddy stood up, completely facing his boyfriend. He was
wearing a beige suit jacket with a white v-neck shirt inside that dipped
dangerous into his pecs. The thin fabric hugged his body perfectly. His
tight blue jeans made Billy's knees weak. He was absolutely perfect.

"Hey Teddy." Billy heard himself say. His own voice was hoarse.

They stood still staring at each other for what seemed like forever. Then
suddenly Teddy smiled. And just like that Billy found himself sitting
beside his boyfriend.

"I missed you." Teddy kissed Billy's cheek.

"Me too." Billy let out a little whimper as he felt Teddy's lips on his
skin.

"I was just telling Teddy to use condoms." Billy's mother added after Billy
had fully settled on the couch.

"Okay mom. Wait, what?" Billy's head whipped from Teddy's face to his
mother. Did he just hear condoms?

"Well son. You're at that age when I'm sure you're hormones are making
themselves known." Billy's dad was using his doctor's voice. Billy didn't
know if the tone of professionalism was making things better or more
embarrassing.

"Dad." Billy pleaded with his eyes. He looked at Teddy who looked very
uncomfortable. His face was twitchy and his eyebrows were scrunched
awkwardly.

"Honey, everyone here knows why you want to sleep over Teddy's
apartment. This is your third sleepover. I'm sure you've done something by
now. And if you haven't tonight something will happen" She pushed up her
glasses. Billy felt like hiding in a hole.

"Do we have to do this?" Billy tried his best puppy dog eyes. His parents
paid him no mind. He couldn't believe even they knew tonight was the night.

"Now Teddy, you might think you don't need to use condoms since neither of
you can get pregnant. I mean you can't get pregnant right?" Billy's father
corrected himself. It was surprising how the man could look so calm while
Teddy's face went absolutely pale.

"I don't think so Mister Kaplan." Teddy's answered politely as the shock
subsided. His face however stayed as white as a ghost.

"Dad." Billy gritted his teeth. He just knew Teddy was going to dump him
for this. Hell, he would dump himself for this.

"As teenagers you may think condoms as just contraceptives. But as a
doctor, I can tell you these rubbers, as you kids call them, can keep you
safe from STD's" Billy's dad continued. His lips however were beginning to
turn upwards.

"Oh my god." Billy covered his face with his hands. He could tell his
parents were just absolutely enjoying themselves. It wasn't going to end
soon.

"Now, Teddy dear, we're not saying you have STD's. Both of you are probably
virgins." She said kindly. She kept a straighter face than her husband.

"Mom, please." Billy bit his lips. They were torturing him; he just knew
it.

"But you have to start now. Safe sex is a habit you have to learn and live
by. They protect you from a lot of diseases like gonorrhea and syphilis."
Billy's dad continued.

"Yes, we'll use condoms. Are you guys done?" Billy could hear the defeat in
his voice.

"No since both of you are men, I assume you'll be having anal intercourse."
Billy's mom ignored him and kept talking.

"IwantthemtostopIwantthemtostopIwantthemtostop." Billy started chanting
under his breath. He promised himself never to use magic on his parents but
this was an emergency.

"Now, Honey anal intercourse can be dangerous if not handled properly." Her
voice was pitch perfect as if nothing embarrassing was happening.

"IwantthemtostopIwantthemtostopIwantthemtostop." Billy kept trying. He
looked over at Teddy. Surprisingly, his boyfriend hadn't run away yet.
Billy's eyes grew wide as he realized Teddy was actually listening.

"It's dangerous because the inner lining of the rectum is very
delicate. Now I know you boys can't control yourselves and your probably
going to do it anyway. So I'm going to tell you how." She pushed up her
glasses. She was treating this like she was a psychiatrist and not Billy's
mom.

"If done correctly, anal sex can be pleasurable for both partners." Billy's
dad continued. Then he shared a look with Billy's mom, one Billy prayed to
whoever was out there, Teddy didn't see. He needed brain bleach to get the
vision out of his head.

"IwantthemtostopIwantthemtostopIwantthemtostop."  Billy tried harder than
ever before. This couldn't be happening.

"You should use a lot of lubricant. I would recommend KY Jelly since it's
water based. It's a lot safer than using than let's say lotions." Billy's
mom, raised her finger to emphasize her point.

"It also doesn't affect condoms. Most of the condoms are oil based and as
such will malfunction once used with oil-based lubricants. KY Jelly is
water based so it won't have a detrimental effect." Billy's dad added.

"Can we go now please?" Billy stood up. He couldn't take it anymore. He
would rather his parents show Teddy his naked baby pictures, anything but
this. He grabbed Teddy's arm and went for the door.

"Now Honey, remember to go slow. It's your first time, don't rush it."
Billy's mom called out.

"If you start feeling anything wrong, call us immediately. We're your
parents and doctors." Billy's dad added. His parents shared an amused look
before going back into the house. Billy swore he could hear them laughing
their asses off.

Billy knew his face was hot from embarrassment. He was walking faster,
making sure he was in front of Teddy. The blond had lagged behind since
Billy had pulled him. Their hands were still connected as they went a block
past Billy's house.

He realized the physical contact and pulled away. Suddenly he felt Teddy
grab his hand again. He felt himself getting pulled backwards. He was spun
around and felt large arms encircle his body.

"I missed you." Teddy whispered, dropping his head towards the side of
Billy's face.

"Me too." Billy wrapped his arms around Teddy. He buried his face in his
boyfriend's neck. Billy had forgotten how good it felt to be in Teddy's
arms again.

They hugged each other a while until they heard some wolf whistles and
pulled away.

Billy looked at the floor awkwardly. It was like their first date all over
again. His eyes slowly went upwards from Teddy's designer shoes, to his
tight jeans all the way up to his sexy white shirt, finally resting on his
boyfriend's face.

"Hey Billy." Teddy smiled sheepishly as they caught each other staring. He
looked absolutely adorable.

"Hey Teddy." Billy smiled back. He wrapped his arms around Teddy's neck and
rose up for a kiss. He felt Teddy's hands encircle his waist as the Teddy's
lips met his own.

"Sorry about my parents." Billy whispered as he pulled away.

"I think it was... educational." Teddy bit his lip as he thought of a
reply.

"You didn't take notes did you?" Billy just knew Teddy had paid attention.

"A little. I think we need to buy condoms now." Teddy blushed as he
admitted his intent.

"Fuck, I'm so embarrassed." Billy buried his face into Teddy's chest. It
was nice and warm, not to mention great to touch too.

"I noticed." Teddy said as he rubbed Billy's back.

"You were as pale as a ghost, even paler." Billy found himself laughing.

"You're just as bad. I almost thought my boyfriend had turned into a
tomato." Teddy snickered.

"Whatever." Billy's witty comeback melted away as he heard the word
boyfriend from Teddy's lips. It was like everything was fine again. "I
think we better go. We're going to be late for our movie."

"Alright." They pulled away from each other.

Billy turned away and began walking forward, swinging his arms back and
forth.

"Hey Billy?" Teddy suddenly grabbed Billy's hand.

"Yea Teddy?" Billy turned around in surprise.

"You look really good." Teddy flashed his kilowatt smile.

The walked towards the movie house holding hands, their finger's
intertwined.

By all accounts, Billy knew he should be excitedly watching the movie. It
was after all Iron Man 2 with Robert Downey Junior. He knew for a fact that
Tony Stark was involved throughout the entire project, making sure it would
be as all Stark products are, absolutely awesome. Not to mention, he would
get to see the Black Widow in action. He never actually saw her in
person. He was o excited to see her even if it was fake.

Despite all that, and more, Billy wasn't paying any attention at all to the
movie. He was more focused on the breathing body beside him.

Sure they walked to the Cineplex holding hands. Sure they shared their
popcorn together. Heck, they even lifted the armrest thingy that separated
the movie house seats so they could sit closer together. Unfortunately,
they weren't sitting closer to each other at all.

There was an invisible wall between them. Billy would scoot closer and then
scoot away. He placed his hand on the edge of his chair. He felt Teddy's
hand brush against his. They pulled away at the same time.

Teddy also acted the same way. Normally, the blonde would have his arms
over Billy's shoulder once the lights closed. They would be close enough to
hear each other breathing. They would even sometimes hold hands, squeezing
as the good parts came on. That was his favorite part when watching with
Teddy.

Billy bit his lip. He knew the tension was absolutely palpable. Iron Man
had already showed off his new armor, and he hadn't snuggled up to Teddy
yet. Normally, since it was dark and nobody could see them, he'd have his
neck on Teddy's shoulder. It was their thing when watching
movies. Apparently it wasn't anymore.

Taking a deep breath, Billy reached out to try and grab Teddy's hand. He
accidentally squeezed Teddy's thigh. Teddy made no visible movement. Billy
decided to become bolder and leave his hand there. Teddy still didn't
react.

Billy sighed. At least it was something. Suddenly he felt Teddy's hand on
his far shoulder. It pushed him towards Teddy. Billy found his head lying
right on his boyfriend's shoulder.

He looked up at Teddy's face and saw his boyfriend smiling. He craned his
neck up to give Teddy a chaste kiss. The blonde had other ideas. They ended
up lip locking for a few minutes. Billy sighed in contentment. He felt
Teddy's other hand hold his hand. This position was so much better.

Billy closed his eyes and followed Teddy's breathing. It was smooth and
calming. Teddy smelled nice. It was Teddy's smell with a hint of perfume,
one with earthy tones. He inhaled more, relishing the wonderful fragrance.

There was an explosion on screen, causing him to jump. He felt Teddy's
heart skip a beat as well. Teddy squeezed Billy's hand tightly. Billy
scooted closer, so their thighs were brushing together. Billy had no idea
what was happening in the movie at all.

Billy stayed content in his boyfriend's arms. Something was happening on
screen but Billy didn't care. Suddenly the credits were rolling and lights
came back on. Billy was about to pull away like they usually do. But Teddy
didn't let him go.

"Let's wait until the credits finished." Teddy smiled. He had a look of
absolute contentment on his face.

"Okay." Billy put his head back on Teddy's shoulders. Sure he saw some
people looking at them as they stood up. Billy didn't care. He had the
best, warmest boyfriend in the world. And right now, it didn't matter what
other people thought.

The extra bonus teaser clip played out. Billy wasn't even paying attention,
something about the Avengers. Unfortunately as the clip finished so did
their excuse to hug each other. Reluctantly they stood up and walked out
the Cineplex.

"Great movie huh?" Billy said lamely after they had left the mall without
saying a single word to each other. They were still holding
hands. Something Billy knew he needed to get used to out in public.

"Yeah." Teddy answered in one syllable. He squeezed Billy's hand.

"What was your favorite part?" Billy asked trying to get a conversation
started.

"Actually, I don't recall a thing from the movie. Half the time, I was
trying to get in position like we used to." Teddy scratched the back of his
head. His cheeks were red from his embarrassment.

"And what about the other half?" Billy bit his lip and put his face closer
to Teddy. They were both doing the same thing after all.

"I was thinking how nice it was to have you back in my arms." Teddy
whispered huskily. His eyes had glazed over as Billy approached him. Teddy
moved forward a bit, leaving only a millimeter away between their lips.

Billy filled the distance. Teddy's lips were warm and soft. Billy pulled
away after a few seconds. They were out in public after all.

"I don't remember anything about the movie either." Billy said happily.

"Best movie ever right?" Teddy laughed, showing Billy his perfectly white
teeth.

"Absolutely. So we're going to your place?" Billy was a little
jittery. They were walking in that direction

"Sure. I just have to pass by the drugstore to pick up some stuff." Teddy
gave Billy another quick kiss and then started walking forward.

"Okay." Billy sighed dreamily. He then realized Teddy was crossing the
street without him. He chased after the boy and grabbed his hand.

"Let's go inside this one." Teddy pulled Billy inside a twenty-four hour
pharmacy.

"What are we looking for?" Billy asked as they passed through a few rows of
stuff. Teddy seemed like he was searching for something specific.

"Condoms." Teddy whispered. He looked away immediately.

"You can't be serious." Billy said even though he knew Teddy was.

"Your parents said..." Teddy murmured slowly before Billy put a finger in
front of his mouth.

"Okay I get it. Don't ever mention that again." Billy shivered as he
recalled the embarrassing moment in his life. That was one memory he would
gladly erase.

"Found them." Teddy whispered to Billy. He pointed at the section
discreetly.

"Okay lets walk over a bit and the browse around before we get some." Billy
looked around. He didn't feel comfortable buying condoms upfront,
especially since there were some old ladies in the store.

"Cool let's go." Teddy walked by the condom area slowly, acting like he was
looking for something. Billy watched by the soap section as Teddy tried to
look inconspicuous. He failed miserably.

"My turn." Billy murmured to himself. He took a deep breath and walked
towards Teddy who was waiting by the snacks. Billy scanned the shelves
passing by the lotions and creams. He finally reached the condom
section. His jaw almost dropped in surprise. There were so many
varieties. He passed it quickly as he saw a lady come near.

"So which one?" Teddy whispered to Billy, as the perused the candy bars.

"I don't know. I wasn't able to see. You?" Billy admitted. He knew there
were flavored condoms but he didn't think there were other kinds. He tried
remembering something specific. Nothing came to mind.

"I didn't see anything either. I walked too fast." Teddy blushed. Billy
couldn't blame him. He did the same thing.

"I'll go first this time." Billy said firmly, trying to convince himself.

"Go for it." Teddy gave Billy two thumbs up.

"I can do this." Billy strode purposefully towards the condom section. He
was about to reach the area when suddenly a little girl walked past him. He
made a quick turn and found himself in the band-aid section. He looked at
Teddy, giving his boyfriend a defeated smile.

Billy watched at Teddy's second attempt at the condom section. He walked
slowly with his hands in his pockets. He slowed down perceptibly as he got
closer. Still he was only inches away, when suddenly the little girl passed
again. Teddy sort of skipped through the area.

"Sorry for that. The little girl spooked me." Teddy hung his head low in
shame.

"It's alright. It's a lot harder than we thought." Billy patted his
boyfriend shoulder.

"Let's look around, maybe people are leaving." Teddy suggested. It was
obvious both of them were too shy to buy condoms.

"Good idea." Billy scanned the area. Said little girl was finally walking
out the door with her mother. The old ladies were gone as well. There was
an old man by the magazine rack. He was picking up Maxim. Billy snickered a
bit.

"Oh shit." Teddy murmured just enough so Billy could hear.

"What is it? Oh shit." Billy turned his head to look at what made Teddy
curse. He cursed too as he saw Kate, as in Hawkeye, standing there with a
smirk on her face. It was her all-knowing smirk.

"Hey boys." Kate grinned. She looked like she was about to laugh. She was
wearing a black leather jacket with a white tube top inside and tight black
skinny jean tucked into some killer boots.

"Hey Kate." Billy waved lamely. He hoped Kate didn't see them pacing back
and forth. But seeing her devilish smile, he was sure she knew.

"So tonight's the big night huh?" Her lips pursed as she tried to keep in
her laughter. She giggled a bit as she saw Teddy face palm.

"I have no knowledge of the event you're pertaining to." Billy lied in
futility. He had a tendency to use more formal language when he was
lying. Kate giggled some more.

"I must be wrong then. I'll just have to ask Cassie what she thinks of you
two in a drugstore pacing back and forth in search of something." Kate said
thoughtfully, putting a finger to her cheek for added effect. She blinked
her eyes, making her look more innocent.

"Please don't tell Cassie. Yes it's our big night." Billy said hastily. He
did not want details of his sex life to spread. His parents knowing was
enough. His entire team, heck even the entire superhero community did not
need to know. He heard Teddy groan and face palm again.

"Oh god, this is to precious." Kate started snickering. She bent down
clutching her stomach trying not to make a scene.

"Laugh it out." Billy's eyebrow twitched as his friend enjoyed his misery.

"I'm so sorry Billy. You guys were just too cute trying to not act
obvious." Kate straightened up, wiping a tear from her eye.

"We were that obvious?" Teddy whined.

"A little, okay a lot. You want me to help you?" Kate offered.

"What?" Billy blinked twice. Did Kate just offer to buy them condoms?

"I could buy them for you. I have fake ID. Don't tell anyone." She winked
at the speechless couple.

"You don't mind?" Billy didn't know whether to feel happy or embarrassed he
had to get a girl to buy his condoms for him.

"Not a problem with me." Kate smiled. She put her hands on her hips. She
exuded absolute confidence.

"Okay." Teddy answered somewhat dazedly.

"Okay." Billy heard himself say.

"Okay." Kate answered and sauntered off to the condoms section.

"This is so embarrassing." Teddy whispered once Kate was out of earshot.

"It's better than hearing my parents talk about anal sex." Billy
replied. He watched Kate as she browsed the condoms like they were tampons
or make-up.

"Okay. We agree never to bring that up again. Deal?" Teddy held out his
fist for Billy.

"Deal." Billy punched Teddy's fist. He looked around. Nobody seemed to be
minding Kate, not even the cashier person was looking at her. She was even
bending down.

"Why do you think she's taking so long?" Teddy whispered. His hands were
getting fidgety. Like Billy, he was acting as a look out.

"I don't know." Billy checked his watch. Kate hadn't even been gone for two
minutes. Yet it felt like she was making them wait for hours.

"She's coming back." Teddy nudged Billy at the side,

"Hey Kate." Billy noticed she wasn't carrying anything.

"Okay so here are the things I saw." Kate took out her phone and began
reading out the kinds of condoms available.

"Sssh." Teddy put his hand over Kate's mouth. The two old ladies shuffled
by.

"What was that for?" Kate pushed Teddy off her. She folded her arms and
stared Teddy down into apologizing.

"Can't you pick out the condoms for us?" Billy asked shyly. He did not want
to hear all the kinds of condoms in the world.

"I could, but I might get it wrong." Kate sighed thoughtfully.

"Wrong how?" Teddy said after he was sure Kate wouldn't bite his head off.

"There are lots of different sizes and flavors. I didn't know what kind
you'd like." Kate looked Teddy up and down as she emphasized the word size.

"This was not a good idea." Teddy murmured. He covered his crotch by
instinct.

"I think we'll just get it ourselves Kate." At that moment, Billy realized,
he'd either have to live with people who may or may not judge him for
buying condoms, or Kate finding out how large Teddy was in the size
department. He could already imagine all the looks, stares and snickers she
would be giving out. He chose to let the old ladies judge.

"What? I want to see." Kate pouted, acting cute.

"We'd like to keep the thing private, if that's okay with you Kate. Its
something we have to do as a couple." Billy said kindly. Even if he didn't
believe his own reason, it sounded convincing.

"Alright. I'll leave you guys to have your fun." She kissed Billy on the
cheek and waved goodbye.

"She's gone." Teddy said after he and Billy watched Kate leave.

"Time to look at the condoms." Billy said weakly.

"I'm ready. Are you?" Teddy squeezed Billy's hand.

"Okay. I'm good." Billy took a deep breath and followed Teddy as they
entered the area.

"Wow." Teddy said astonished as he looked at the wide selection.

"Where do we even start?" Billy reached out to grab before retracting his
hand.

"I guess the basics." Teddy took two tubes of KY jelly.

"That much?" Billy looked at Teddy with and crooked smile.

"Just making sure." Teddy looked away. His face grew redder under Billy's
scrutiny.

"I guess ultra-thin?" Billy grabbed the small box.

"It might break." Teddy avoided eye contact.

"Right." Billy said quickly. He placed the box back and looked around. No
one was looking at them funny yet.

"Do you think we need flavored ones?" Teddy shuffled through the items.

"No, I don't think so. What are you looking at?" Billy said as Teddy was
reading a box carefully.

"It's extra large." Teddy said plainly.

"We should get that." Billy took one and tossed it into a shopping basket.

"Okay. Let's go." Teddy turned around quickly.

"Wait, how about this?" Billy handed one of the red boxes to Teddy.

"Heating effect? Really Billy?" Teddy looked at the box quizzically.

"We're already here." Billy frowned. In all honesty, he wanted to try and
get some more, but it was just too embarrassing.

"Okay." Teddy grabbed some protein bars.

"What are those for?" Billy didn't think Teddy needed more mass. He was
already very muscular.

"I just want to add something to the basket." Teddy answered sheepishly.

"Good thinking." Billy trailed behind Teddy. They reached the cashier
manned by a very cute college student.

"Is this everything?" The guy asked not even taking a second glance at the
condoms they were buying.

"Ye-yes." Teddy said shakily. His knees were shaking. Teddy handed the guy
some money.

"Here's your change sir. Have a great day." The cashier said in fake
cheeriness.

They walked slowly out of the pharmacy. Once they were out, Billy let out a
breath he didn't realize he was holding.

"I can't believe we just did that." Teddy murmured quietly. He had a wide
smile on his face.

"My heart feels like its beating out of my chest." Billy started making
breathing exercises.

"Good job boys." Kate suddenly appeared like a ninja. Billy jumped and
dropped the bag. He was all over Teddy.

"Kate!" Billy managed to say coherently.

"It's like you've seen a ghost." Kate picked up the plastic bag. She
stuffed the condoms back inside.

"What are you doing here?" Billy asked after he let go of Teddy.

"I forgot to buy the medicine I was supposed to get." Kate explained. She
held out the plastic bag for Billy to get.

"Oh ok." Billy took it hesitantly.

"Well you guys have fun." Kate pushed the door open.

"Bye Kate." Teddy waved at her.

"By the way Teddy, XL. Wow." She winked at him and looked him over. They
heard her giggle as she went inside.
