This is a spin-off of his creation, of which we're all thankful for.


			Chapter 7: Mother, May I?


" MOM?" I said, shocked at the mere sight of my mother standing there, next
to my dad.

" Hey, kiddo, I guess I'm invisible." he smiled, noticing Wyatt, " Hello,
Wyatt, how are you?" he asked stiffly.

Wyatt looked down at me, " I'm fine, Mr. Summers, how are you?" he asked
carefully.

Dad was about to answer, but I spoke first, " Not to be rude, but why are
you here?" I asked.

" We live here. And we decided to come back and put off the latest project
for a while. So how are the new Charmed Ones?" Mom asked.

I pondered telling her everything, the whole story of what I had been
through and what had happened. I was even about to tell them about going to
the future and their future grandchild, but I stopped and looked at Wyatt.

" We're good. Adjusting, I guess. Why didn't you call?" I asked.

Mom walked over to the answering machine and pressed play, " Honey, we
don't want to keep you, but be ready! We're coming home tomorrow and we
would like you to know and not be surprised." and the message ended. I
shrugged and looked at them.

" It's okay. You have your Charmed duties...we're so proud." he smiled
anxiously.

" Drake, I think I'll get home. Later Mr. and Mrs. Summers." Wyatt said,
walking out the door.

I nodded and turned back to my parents, " I didn't want to ask in front of
Wyatt, but why are you really back?" I asked, still shocked at their sudden
appeance.

" You. Met anybody new since we left?" Mom smiled.

I shook my head and walked to the kitchen, instantly noticing the dagger
stuck in the counter. I immediately grabbed it and stuffed it in my pocket,
then looked around to see what else I had missed when cleaning up.

" Honey, the ride back was hell, me and your dad are going to sleep." she
said, her heels clomping on the stairs.


" Okay!" I shouted after her, seeing a swirl of orbs and Kyle's figure come
into view, " What are you doing? My parents are home and...wait, what are
you doing here?" I asked worriedly.

Kyel smiled, " Don't worry. You're okay, I just wanted to see if you were
okay after..." he trailed off.

It was then that I remembered Talik. I'd just vanquished him and this was
the first time I had thought about it. I looked at him, shocked he had
brought it up.

" I didn't mean to bring back...I just wanted to make sure you were
alright." he said cautiously.

I nodded, " No, I told you my parents are back...don't get me wrong, I love
them, but it doesn't feel natural to me. They've always been away and now
that they're back, it's strange to be...sorry, you should stop me if I
rant." I said, realizing that I was ranting.


" No, it's good for you to feel comfortable around me, I'm your
whitelighter and I'm here for you." he said softly, " I can see why you're
Charmed. It shows that you were born around them." he smiled.

" Yeah, I'm sure the Charmed Ones are in overdrive, right?" I asked.

He nodded and smiled, " Yeah. As a matter of fact, they're making a plan."
he said, walking over to the pictures on the wall, " And Piper is putting
together a "Welcome Home' party for your parents. But shh! It's
hush-hush. Is this you?" he asked, chuckling to himself.

I blushed and walked to him, " Yeah. Me...nude, on a bearskin rug. That
should be against the law." I said, covering up the embarrassing baby
picture, " I think it might be." I said, laughing with him.

I noticed him stop laughing and look at another picture, " Nice sweater."
he said, trying not to laugh.

" Go ahead." I said, listening to him laugh, " Are you done?" I asked, in
mock impatience.

" So, they had sex? I mean full on, sweaty sex?" Melinda said into the
phone. She listened intently as Courtney told her what had happened between
someone at school, " That's...it has to be a rumor! i mean, I know that
they were...but I think I'd know more than anyone. I really don't think
they are having hot, monkey sex!" she said loudly.

" YOUNG LADY!" Piper said angrily, beside Leo at the door.

" Hang up now!" Leo said sternly.

Melinda gulped into the phone, " Court...I gotta go." she said, quickly
hanging up.

Piper and Leo had the same look on their faces, shock. Piper sat on the
bed, while Leo pulled the chair from Melinda's desk and sat by the bed.

" Where did you learn that?" Piper asked angrily.

Melinda looked from Piper to Leo, " It's...I..." she stuttered, but nothing
more came from her.

" I can't believe you said some of those things." Leo said, not sure he
heard what he did.

Melinda huffed, " You were listening for how long?!" she snapped.

" Long enough to learn something new!" Piper said sarcastically, " Look,
Maybe it's time we had the 'talk'." she sighed.

Melinda gasped, " MOM! I don't need the talk...I'm not having sex!" she
said even louder.

Piper and Leo both cringed, " Well, we just want you..." Leo started, but
he was interrupted.

Melinda scoffed, " Me? You're worried about me? okay, you're trying to give
me the 'talk' when you should be giving it to Wyatt." she said, snapping
her hands to her mouth.

Piper's eyes darted from Melinda to Leo, then back to Melinda, " And what
does that mean?' Piper asked curiously.

Melinda looked as if she wasn't going to say, then she finally said it, "
Well, Courtney said that Shannon said that Tracy said that Kelly said that
Bianca was talking about how good Wyatt was...good...Wyatt." Melinda said,
hoping they truly wouldn't get it. While Piper looked as if she was about
to explode, Leo looked calmer, as he always did.

" Now, Piper, maybe it's just a rumor." Leo said, trying to calm her down.

" And maybe Hell has an indoor swimming pool!" Piper said, rising to her
feet and strolling out of the room.

Wyatt and Chris stood by the book, trying to help Phoebe and Paige come up
with a plan to take on Cole.

" Maybe we could bind his powers." Chris suggested.

Phoebe sighed in frustration, " Already tried it...either he'll get a brand
new set or another demon will take the powers and then we will have bigger
problems." she said boredly.

" Yeah, but if the story is true and Aunt Paige defeated him before he went
to hell and stuff, shouldn't he be 'Belthazor'?" Wyatt asked quickly.

Paige perked up, " Maybe. But to even attempt it, we'd need a piece of his
skin. Last time, we used all we had." Paige said less perkily.

" Not really." Phoebe said quickly, " I took the last of it home and saved
it." she said sheepishly.

" First thing's first, we need the power of three. Kyle and Drake should
have been back and where's Piper and Leo?" Phoebe asked. As if they'd hear
their names, they cam hurtling up the stairs and appeared in front of them.

" What'd we miss?" Piper asked, trying to cover her anger.

Phoebe looked at her curiously, " Nothing...Piper, are you okay?" she
asked, walking over to her.

" Where are we going?" Piper asked, now being joined Paige too.

" To Phoebe's so we can get the last of Belthazor's skin for the
vanquishing potion." Paige said, grabbing Piper and Phoebe and orbing away.

Wyatt looked to Leo, " Dad, what was wrong with mom? She was all kinds of
angry." he said, still watching Leo.

Leo just stared at Wyatt, " I have a question." Leo said, joining them at
the book.

" What is it dad?" Wyatt asked.

Leo started, but looked at Chris, " This is kind of private, son." Leo said
anxiously.

" No, go ahead. We don't have time for privacy." Wyatt said, reading a page
from the book.

" Ok." Leo said unsure of how to ask, " Are you having sex?" he burst.

Wyatt stopped, " Maybe we should have had time for privacy" Wyatt said
nervously, " Who told you that?" he asked, shocked.

" Well, Melinda heard it from..." but before Leo could finish, Wyatt
interrupted.

" MELINDA?! You believe her? As a matter of fact, I didn't
have...intercourse. What Bianca was referring to was..." but Wyatt paused,
"...When I fingered her, she played with me, and we kissed." he said
quickly.

" That's all?" Leo asked.

" That's all. And it was just before I knew about the future." Wyatt said.

Chris chuckled, " Aout the time Talik showed up?" he asked.

" Shut up, Chris! It's not funny." Wyatt said seriously, " That never
leaves this room." he said quickly.

" She's been telling whoever she could." Chris smirked.

" Well, don't tell Drake. I just got him in the state of mind to be with me
and..." wyatt said, but a voice behind him interrupted.

"..And you shouldn't lie to him." I said, walking into the room with Kyle.

wyatt looked shocked and so did Leo and Chris for that matter, but I didn't
really care, " Drake, I..." Wyatt tried to explain.

" Not now. Things to vanquish." I said, ignoring him and staring at the
book.

" It was..before I knew about us...our future." Wyatt stuttered.


" We don't have one...not right now. I started hanging out with Talik and
you...felt like you had to find someone to...only, I really liked Talik and
it wasn't to...Wyatt, she is saying that she loves you." I said, flipping
through pages in the book.

Thunder struck outside and I jumped, " That's weird." Leo said moving to
the window, " Something is wrong." he said fearfully.

" Looks like we're going to kick ass anyway it goes. Do we have a plan?" I
asked.

" The sisters are getting the potion and the plan is to vanquish
Belthazor." Leo said quickly.

" No, we're going to..." Wyatt started.

" And here I thought the new Charmed Ones would like me." Cole said behind
us.

I smiled," Yeah. Not gonna happen." I said angrily.

His eyes centered on me, " You. the one my son was fu..." he started.

" Shut up, Cole!" Leo said suddenly. It was then that I remembered that Leo
was human.

" Kyle." I said carefully. Kyle looked at me, " Get Leo out of here." I
said, not taking my eyes off Cole.

Kyle nodded and moved toward Leo, " Take another step and Leo gets it.""
Cole said joyfully.

" You know, they say your a bad-ass demon." I smile.

Cole smiled, " Is that what they tell you?" he chuckled.

" Yeah, but I think you're a pathetic asshole who doesn't know how to let
go." I smiled.

" You smug little bastard!" Cole said intesely.

" Demons. You just don't get it. Demons plus us equals dust. Soon I'm gonna
take of you like I did your pathetic son!" I shouted, causing everybody to
stare. I felt anger radiate from Cole and I knew what was about to happen
without using my powers, " KYLE! NOW!" I said, freezing the fireball he'd
just thrown at me! Kyle hurried to Leo and they orbed away. I landed on the
ground and avoided getting hit by another fireball. I rolled behind a
nearby couch and slumped down. I felt like I was about to explode all over
the room and soon I heard the clattering of people falling down. I lifted
my head to see what was going on and I saw Wyatt raise his hand throw Cole,
but a fireball grazed him! Chris orbed to him and telekinetically knocked
Cole away. I stood from behind the couch but Wyatt stood and looked at me,
" You bastard, you killed my son! I loved him, the only thing that was mind
and you took him away!" was what he shouted and a fireball materialized in
his hand.

" What?" I asked, confused.

" All you Charmed bastards, sitting up here on your high horses, looking
down on me because I wasn't who you wanted to be! I tried!" Wyatt
shouted. Apparently Wyatt's empathy was activated by the flood of emotions
Cole sent out. The fireball disappeared in his hand and he yelped at the
hotness. Cole took this time to make a fireball sent it hurtling at me, but
I raised my hand and froze it! By this time, Chris and Wyatt had joined me
at my side.

" Power of Three?" Chris panted.

" Power of Three." We nodded," THE POWER OF THREE WILL SET US FREE, THE
POWER OF THREE WILL SET US FREE!" we chanted and Cole tried to get away,
but he stopped.


In the middle of our fifth chant, I stopped and started one of my own, " I
call upon the powers that be, take away his powers and set him free!" I
said, binding his powers.

" Rainy days..." Cole said directly to me.

" Rainy Days?" I asked, confused.

He nodded, then passed out. Even though I was safe, I felt something
pulling me away from my body, something grasping at all that I was and I
was gone.

The Halliwells and the Summerses waited in the emergency room, trying to
hid the knowing looks on their faces. Drake had fainted and couldn't be
revived. Kyle and Wyatt had tried to heal him, but he wouldn't wake
up. They immediately rushed him to the E.R. without a protest.

" I'm so sorry, Caly." Piper said, tears falling from her eyes.

" No, it's his destiny. This all is his destiny."Caly said quickly, " For
after the sun rises, so does the world." she said, making Piper stare at
her in shock. Piper remembered back to what she had read on the walls of
the Underworld and now Caly was reciting it?

" Caly." Piper said calmly.

Caly smiled and looked over at the Sisters and Leo and her eyes flamed
over, " Piper. Aren't you tired of living by their rules? The day in and
day out boredom of the righteous. The future is changable and it just did."
Caly smiled.

" We" Peter smiled, " are the beginning of the Darkness." he smirked.

" You're behind all this?" Phoebe asked in disbelief.

" You could have killed your own son." Paige said angrily.

" we never meant for that to happen," Caly said, " but I know what I'm
doing." she said.

Piper frowned at her, " Do you? This is not you, Caly! You're messing with
dangerous things and putting your family in danger..." a look of
realization caught on Piper's face. Phoebe and Paige had also realized it,
they said nothing, " You're trying to kill us, aren't you?" she said, in
total disbelief.

" I'm sorry, Piper, but I cannot risk your family getting in the way of our
plans." Caly said sadly.

" Nothing personal." Peter said.

" Oh, it's personal." Phoebe sneered.

" We're not giving Drake up to you." Paige said sternly.

" He can make up his own mind. He is not yours." Caly said.

Leo sighed, " This is unnecessary." he said carefully.

" I beg to differ." Peter said gently.

Piper was about to say something but stopped when she saw the doctor walk
up, " Everything seems fine." the doctor said happily, " It appears to be
exhaustion. Give me a call if you have any questions...he should be
released in an hour." he said, walking away.

" You can go now, we'll go and see about our son." Caly said snidely,
leaving with Peter and the doctor.

I walked into my room, staring around for anything familiar. It was
different than it had been before, where it was a mixture of hues and
tints, it was now bathed in light. Every color in the room projected was
ultimately white. I walked into the room and saw Talik on the chest in
front of my bed. He smiled at me.

" Come on in. Not nice to linger at the door." Talik smiled.

I stepped inside and immediately a wave of calm hit me, " One hell of a
dream." I said, looking around.

" The sky's falling...and the king is gone..." Talik said rabdomly.

" Not your best choice of words, but hey, can't win 'em all." I said,
walking to the bed. I wanted to sit down, but something told me not to.

" I know, sorry. You did semi-vanquish me. Any chance you thought of a plan
for vanquishing the head demons? No? Well how about figuring out why they
want you?" Talik said, with a knowingness to his voice.

" Semi? Wait...I'm not so much about the why, as much as I'm about the how
can I find them." I said promptly.

" You love the once forbidden love don't you, don't you, you wicked
offspring. There is no rest for the wicked!" he said selectively. I looked
at him shocked and he continued, " Brain damage. It happens when your body
is blown up. It's temporary, so don't worry." he smiled.

" I'm sorry." I said, my eyes filled with tears.

Talik smiled and walked to the bed, which was no unmade, " Come help me
remake the bed. You lied in it, now remake it." he said, stopping to glance
out the window, " Curious thing, rain...There's so much filth! SO MUCH
FILTH! Then comes the rain...it washes things away. That's what rainy days
are for...they make everything clean." he said spastically.

I nodded, pulling the covers up, " Rain? Sky? King? Could you be more
cryptic!? What's about to happen?!" I said, frantically pulling the sheets,
which seemed to pull back.

Talik walked over to me and the bed and gently smoothed the covers over the
rest of the bed, " You cannot force what you cannot have." Talik said
creepily. I didn't say anything, I just nodded. Then I woke, not sweating
or breathing hard, but still scared out of my mind.
