DOCTOR WHO, JESSE, AND JEREMY episode 16
"Doctor, Joey was supposed to be in here," Adam reminded him, "I don't
see him anyplace."
"Look at all these," the Doctor moved to crates that aligned the first
room. He opened one and tossed aside the crate cover. "Guns, machine guns.
Rifles, bayonets. Sub machine guns. Tear gas there, pistols here, shot guns."
"Doctor, you're going through this like it's a laundry list or a grocery
shopping expedition." Adam said coolly but showed he was surprised.
"I've seen a lot of weapons in my time, Adam, my dear boy but..." something
new caught the Doctor's eye. "Nothing like this. Helllooo....." He took out
a huge device, about five feet long. And it was bulbous. "Light weight."
"And not of this Earth, I take it."
The Doctor looked at Adam, "How'd you guess that?"
"I surmise that you've seen almost everything on this planet..."
"Don't always surmise that...this planet holds a great deal of interest for
me and still will in all the years up to its demise. My, does that rhyme?
Anyway, there are things and places on Earth..."
"Anyway I'm right, right?"
"As it happens, yes," the Doctor said and held the device.
"What's it for?"
"As near as I can tell...it can throw this planet into...I think...into another
universe, another time, even another dimension. But it can also blink out..."
"Blink out?"
"Yes blink out â€"large hordes of men. Kill them. Or whisk them to a place
that will kill them."
"I once read the unions were growing `cause of the Great Depression. Men.
Large numbers of men. Do you think?"
"Adam, you are a genius..."
"You both are," a stern male voice made them whirl around to face Joey but
it wasn't he who spoke.
"YOU!" The Doctor gasped, "I don't believe it! YOU!"
"Oh, not again," Adam puffed.
The doors opened and Jesse and Jeremy came in. Jesse puffed, "Doctor, there'
s a large contingency of men coming this way."
"They have guns and stuff... Who the hell is that in that get up?"
"That, my dear friends is the male incarnation of my second best enemy...
THE RANI."
The Rani, looking like the actor who plays Apollo on the New Battlestar
Galactica, stood there dressed in a leather thong, black boots to match it, and a
short cut midriff showing bit over his upper chest. His nipples stood out
from under it and it didn't cover them all the way, revealing his massive chest
and lean muscled stomach. And he held a black metallic looking device with
two tongs on the end...
Jesse gasped, "That's the Rani?"
"The Rani!" Jeremy moaned.
"Who's he then?" Adam asked.
"When he's not a she," the Doctor circled around the Rani, still holding
the device. "He's another bad Time Lord." The Doctor blinked, "Lady."
"Put that down," the Rani said.
"What's he----she supposed to have done to be so bad?" Adam asked.
"She...oh, uah, HE as a she, put some sleep out of the alien humanoids that
inhabit the planet Miasimia Goria in order to heighten their awareness..."
Adam looks at the handsome Rani, "Cor, that's stupid. Anyone knows that
lack of sleep equals a state almost equal to, well, to drunkenness. Really dumb,
she is."
Rani, the muscular male now, looked at Adam, "Be silent." The Rani moved
to Adam and put hand up, "I see you travel with all males now Doctor, all
boys, how nice. You've finally learned."
The Doctor frowned.
Jeremy looked at at the Rani, "He looks like that guy from Battlestar
Galactica, Jamie Barber."
"Yeah, he's fucking hot," Jesse said, "But the Rani was a stuck up bitch.
" The Rani glared at Jesse and Jesse shrugged, "...at least according to
the TARDIS files." The Rani smiled at him. He smiled back.
"Joey," the Doctor turned to the quiet boy, "What's this to do with you?"
"I found the weapons."
"Yes, prattling boys are just as annoying. You'll find these new companions
as prattling as those companions of yours Peri and Mel and that annoying fat
one, Ace was it?" The Rani smiled and put a hand on Joey's shoulder, and
curled his brown long hair with his other hand's fingers. "And THIS one.
Father works here. Nosing around he found these. Along with that thing in your
hand. Mine."
"Let me guess. You were here, in 1931, like the Master, or shall I call him
by his new moniker, the Asster? To get the breast, the alien breast but when
the boy stole it..."
The Rani hissed and pushed Joey to the Doctor, "Have him. He's as tiresome
and as interfering as you are. All I want is that device to be found here."
Joey looked up, "I thought if I brought the men here they would...find the
weapons and arrest Mr. Grace. But I...I didn't do that."
"But when Joey stole the breast, Rani, you too, found the weapons, didn't
you? " The Doctor put Joey behind him and Jeremy took Joey away from that spot
and put Joey behind him.
Jesse moved forward, "Doctor, those men, I think they are coming down here!
They'll be here any minute!"
"One thing at a time, or is it, one time at a thing?" The Doctor shook
his head and wiped his forehead. "Anyway, you're using this device to throw a
chink in the armory, shall we say. To coin a phrase."
"Indeed, to use it to make my planet moved safely to another universe, I've
already done that."
"Is it me, or are they talking in the past, present and future?" Jesse
whispered to Jeremy.
Jeremy just nodded an affirmation.
"But you did that THAT, only to protect your planet and the slaves you've
made out of the people that live there. You really need to change time,
sigh, again."
Adam asked, "Why would you want to do that?"
"It would change my planet and even maybe me if I changed Earth's history,"
the Rani said, staring at Adam's eyes, "So to put them in another
universe would protect them from any time changes that Earth people would undergo."
"You think that? You're stupider than even Adam thinks you are," the
Doctor laughed, "Human beings will spread out into THIS universe but even move
beyond into other universes, despite the interference of Time Lords to prevent
them from doing so."
"I will be rid of them once and for all!" The Rani said.

"But since you have no need of this device to do that any longer, you left
it here so Joey and whoever owns this factory would find it, use it maybe and
change Earth's future. That way, you could bring down the owner of this
factory and that way, the Nazis might just win World War Two."
Adam nods, "That's another stupid idea. You see if.."
The Rani held the tongue device at Adam's face, "One more word from you and
I shall use this device on you. It's a thing that removes tongues and other
body parts..." the Rani looked down at Adam's dick, "From long range. Handy
when dealing with animals you do not want to touch. You I should dare to
touch. One more word from you, one peep and I shall rip your tongue from your
mouth."
Jeremy put up a hand, "Uhm, mame, sir? May I speak?"
"You may cause you're VERY cute."
Jeremy acted all proud and stuck his chest out. Joey hid behind him again.
"Thank you sir."
"I'm cute too," Jesse said.
"By your reaction to dear Adam there, I can see that I'm right in my
theory. If the Nazis win, you'd have all the time in the world to continue your
tiresome experiments to figure out how to solve your tiresome, sleepsome
problem. Pun intended. Time would change merely because this one rather important
factory would be put out of business...during the Depression era no less, never
to recover. Well...quite clever really. This thing probably doesn't even work...
after it's been used that once...that you've already used it," The Doctor
tossed it over to the Rani, knocking the tongs from his hands.
Adam scrambled faster than the Rani, looked him in the face, and grabbed up
the tongs, "Can I talk now?"
"Sure," the Doctor said,
"Why us?" Adam asked.

"Because the humanoids on her planet are so much like humans from Earth...she
would learn a great deal from experimenting on you and posing as a Nazis she'
d have unlimited freedoms.."
"Yeah, they would give a psycho like him free reign," Jesse nodded, "
Makes sense."
The Rani looked at the device, "Correct in that, Doctor but not in that this
device in the right hands, yours, as well as mine, could still be used.
These primitives wouldn't be able to use it but I can and I will, to get out of
here, so spack off!"
"What? Move the Earth in time and space?"
"It's been done before or rather will be done in the future!" The Doctor
put his hands out, "But now it would kill all of us here if you activated it,
as well as almost everyone on the surface..."
Jesse shut his eyes, "And you just gave it back to him."
The doors burst open and 20 men came in with pistols and rifles. "That's
Mr. Grace," Joey said, "And my dad."
"Joey, come here," a stout man said, "What's been going on here?"
Joey came out from behind Jeremy and ran to his father, "Dad, I'm so sorry."

"What have you done, son?"
"I knew you wanted to make a union...but so many other times before this man..."

The Doctor ran up to the older man and shook his hand, taking the pistol
from it and tossing it to a bemused Jesse, "Eugene Gifford Grace. How nice to
meet you! I have read all about you! Fortune magazine gushed in June 1941 that
Bethlehem Steel Mill under you had geared every unit of its empire to a
functional efficiency that Adolf Hitler would envy.''
Grace looked as confused as everyone else. He had deep-set eyes, dark wispy
hair and a wiry, athletic build. :Who are you sir, and why are you inside my
mill? The security here has been lax of late, however...."
"And," the Doctor still shook the man's hand, "The New York Times
Magazine described you in 1924 as ''a slender, rather tall, nervous type of man,
very quick and acute in manner, with a knack for piercing the thoughts of his
visitors even before they are uttered. Doubt you'll pierce mine, however they
went on to say : He is forceful, energetic, businesslike, impatient of
time-wasting and time-wasters, yet pleasant and courteous.''
Grace was taken by the Doctor, "I think that's correct. But 1941? Are you
insane, sir? And you, boy...what's the meaning of this? I thought we had an
agreement. You and your father would be treated well..."
The Doctor turned, "Rather silly though of you, Mr. Grace to hide your
weapons in your own mill basement, don't you say?"
"I am thinking of moving it, however, I have a right to protect my capital,
sir," Grace moved to the crate. "The boy found the weapons but in return
for his silence, I agreed to ..."
"Send him to college," Jeremy guessed.
"Yes," Grace looked at the others, "Who are you people?"
"We are here to help, sir," the Doctor said, "This one was here to rob
your weapons."
"That's bold faced lie!" The Rani said, "Bold faced!"
"And you, sir, what manner of dress is this?"
The Rani looked at them all, turning red in the face. Adam stifled a laugh.
Joey came out, "He saw me when I came back to check if you moved the weapons.
"
Grace laughed, "Didn't think I would follow through on my plans to keep you
in college. Of course I would. It was blackmail but I respect a boy who
wants an education, son. I would have kept to our agreement."
"Would have?" Joey asked.
"Yes, you're to be shot, all of you. Trespassers on my company ground."

To be continued....
