HARDCORE X-MEN, CHAPTER 3 BY PAUL MORRISSON

This story is based on the Cartoon, and Comic Book series. The Characters
are portrayed by the Hollywood actors who played them in the movies. For
characters not seen in the films, i will add in a short description.


I realised while reading over the previous chapter, i had not included a
description of my character, Scott.

Scott is 6'4 with sandy blonde hair, bright Green Eyes,and the body of a
Gymnast, since he is a talented gymnast. He is at University studying for
his degree in Psychology. He is 20 years old, and obviously gay.

It will be told from various point of views

Chapter 3 - The Darkness Within



***SCOTT'S POV***

After i left the group, i headed up to my room to take a nice hot
shower. When i entered the room, i went straight to the bathroom and turned
on the shower to Hot. I loved Hot showers, they made me calm and relax a
lot.  As i let the water run, i began to undress in my bathroom. i took off
my top and jeans, then my underwear. i climbed into the shower and as soon
as the hot water hit my bare skin, i could feel the tension and days sweat
wash away from me (man this is brilliant)


***HANKS POV***

i was in the lab doing some research on the new studant, Scott's, power of
Mimicry. In the Three hours i was reading, i had found out that Mimicry was
a power which was very rarely possessed by Mutants, in the animal kingdom,
many animals used mimicry as a survival technique.

The Doors opened and Charles came in,

"Well Hank, have you found anything out yet?"

"Im afraid not charles, what i have found out is what we already knew, im
afraid to say"

"Hmmm. Scott's power is very strange indeed

"Yes charles, i agree. I have been thinking about what Scott earlier. He
said he had seen a demonstration of each of their powers. But what if his
power is Empathic and Visual Mimicry"

"Meaning that he would absorb the powers based on what his emotions were at
the time of seeing them, yes?"

"Precisely"

"If that is the case, Scott could absorb a lot of powers in a very short
period if time, while here at the mansion"

"Yes charles... im afraid, that of Scott ever came into contact with The
Phoenix, he could potentially absorb it too"


The professor's facial expression changed from intrigue to worry.


***SCOTT'S POV***

After i had finished my shower, i came out into my room to find a set of
clean clothes laying on my bed. Attached to them was a note,

Scott, here are some clean clothes for you. They belonged to me, hope they
fit you. If you wanna practise your powers, i'll be outside by the lake.
John

i smiled when i read the note. i was liking John more and more. I quickly
got dressed and headed out towards the lake.  I saw John sitting on a bench
reading a book, i smiled again. i walked over to him, where he looked up
from his book and returned my smile

"Thanks for the clothes John, yea they do fit me"

"I thought they would"

"So i take it you wanna practise your powers then" he asked

"Sure, lets get started"

John went into his pocket and took out his lighter. he flicked it open and
the flame sparked out and into life. He had a dark looking smile on his
face, next thing i know, a huge wall of fire is coming at me, without
thinking, i raised my hands to shield myself from the fire. Waiting for the
scorching heat to burn at my skin, my eyes were tightly shut, unitl i
realised that i was ok, so i opened my my eyes and seen that fire was
frozen in mid air in front of me, John was standing there frozen as well
with the smile on his face.

I moved quickly out the way and behind john, then he un-froze. He was
looking around trying to find me,

"looking for me" i asked cockily

before he had a chance to turn around, i used my telekinesis on him and
sent him flying across the lawn. He got up with an angry look on his face,
like i had hurt his pride or something. He reached out his hand towards the
still frozen fire and shut his eyes. I could feel the area around us begin
to get hotter, it was then that i realised that John was trying to make the
fire hotter and stronger . Suddenly it un froze and it came charging
towards me, i didnt know what to do, i panicked and next thing i know
everything around us was floating, including John, the benches around us,
some of the water in the lake was no more in the lake but high above it,
the fire was no more coming at me, but was instead circling around john. It
was beginning to burn him and he was screeming,

"ARRRRGGHHHH, HELP ME"

i didnt know what to do, too much was happening,i zoned out, suddenly the
sky rumbled and dark clouds appeared over head, the doors to the mansion
flew open and Jean, Storm, Iceman, Wolverine, and Xavier came out. Storm
flew high above us and looked up at the sky, her eyes were shock white,
Rain came pouring from the clouds, on the ground, Iceman was using his
power on john to try and put him out, the rain was bucketing down, heavier
than anything i had ever seen, although it was centred only above john. The
fire on him was quickly quelled and he fell to the ground as did everythign
else floating around us, i however remained in the air.

***LEECH'S POV***

"Scott, please come down" asked the professor

"Scott is no longer here" i answered

"Who are you then" asked Jean

"Why Jean..... dont you know" i asked

"Phoenix..... it cant be" said jean quietly

"Your right, im not phoenix"

"Then who are you" asked Hank

"I am something which you cannot conceive. My power goes beyond that of the
so called Phoenix..... IAM LEECH"

It was then that i felt both jean and xavier trying to penetrate my mind,
but i was ready for them, i sent back they're invasion with twice the
strength knocking them both out. Wolverine un sheathed his claws, and came
charging at me, but he couldn't reach me for i was high above him,

"get down here bub" he snarled

I used my telekinesis on him and sent flying away and across the lake;
Iceman launched a beam of Ice at me, freezing my lower body, Storm flew
into the air and her eyes took on their familiar white colour, she sent a
lightning bolt at me, but i deflected it back at her, she quickly dodged
it, then sent another which hit me straight in the chest, it was really
painful.  More people from the mansion came running out, but it was mostly
kids, they saw their teachers battling me, and their instincts must have
took over, because i was being attacked from all angles by different
powers.

Fire was being thrown at me, energy beams were hitting me, water,
lightining, more people trying to get into my mind, but i managed to send
them all back. I saw a young girl with sandy blonde hair come out, she
opened her mouth and the most piercing screech i have ever heard came
blasting out her mouth. i was holding my ears trying to shield myself from
it, i fell from the air, i never heard or seen the other come up behind me,
a bare hand touched my face, i felt the power draining from me, i
screeming, it was incredibly painful, she began to screem to...

The teachers were beginning to wake up, i looked up, Storm was high above,
the girl behind me, let go of my face and next thing i know, there is a
funnel of wind surrounding me, then i feel more attempts on my mind, i
recognise who it is immediately, Jean and Xavier, they are gaining more
access to me, i cant hold off much longer, Scott is coming through, i can
feel him, his feelings are trying to supress me, i cant have this, no i
will keep fighting,, he will not win, he is weak, i am powerful,

"Scott please, Stop!!!" screams John

I lose hold of Scott and he is coming through,

<This isnt the end Xavier, i will be back, and when i am, you will all die>

i disappeared into the darkness once more, as Scott took over...

***SCOTT'S POV***

When i opened my eyes, the lawn was a mess, there were students all around
me, Storm came down form the air, looking terrified of me, she rushed
straight to Xavier and Jean, Bobby went over to the younger kids. I heard a
roar, then i saw him running towards me, Wolverine, like a savage animal on
the hunt for its prey which had spotted its victim, his claws were out and
he was coming at me, i was beginning to panic, i could feel darkness coming
from deep inside, and i could hear a deep laugh,

<Logan stop, dont run at Scott> says jean

<Jean>

<trust me logan, Stop>

i looked at the savage beast and he stopped running. i was tired, i looked
over at John, he had a strange look on his face, like he was scared, but
somehow, respectful of me, then i passed out and darkness once again took
over.


***Third Person***

In the lab, Hank, Jean, Xavier, Scott, Logan, Cyclops, and Storm were
standing around Ditto's lifeless body,

"And you say that he nearly killed you" asked cyclops

"Scott, he is very powerful, he knocked both me and the professor out
cold." said jean

"Ok, calling him scott is confusing, so im just gonna call him Ditto, ok"
said logan

"Ditto??"

"Its his code name Scott" says hank

"Oh, ok"

"Hank, he is far too powerful. The being who took over him, says that he is
more powerful than Phoenix"

"This is very disturbing. If he is more powerful than Phoenix, then i have
no idea how we can contain him"

***DITTO'S POV***

i could hear the voices of Jean, and Xavier and some others. i was being
brought back from the dream world and back to the land of consciousness, i
opened my eyes and storm was the first one i saw, she was standing above me
smiling

"Hi honey, how are you feeling" she asked

"Im fine, im tired"

"understandable, you used a lot of power earlier on"

"Scott. i have to ask you a question if you dont mind" asked the professor

"sure professor"

"Do you know who a being called Leech is?"

"No" i answered

"Ok. Leech is a dark being who inhabits you"

i nearly passed out when he said this,

"when you were unconscious, i scanned your mind to find out the origins of
Leech. While there, i found out about your parents"

"My parents.... Professor what did you find, please tell me" i shot
straight up right

"when you were younger, your parents fought several mutants, one of them
was possessed by the being Leech. When your parents were fighting, you were
in your room in your nursary. The mutant who was possessed, killed your
mother and then your father. He then killed his fellow mutants. Leech left
the mutant to search for another in the area and it found it you in your
nursary, where it then entered you and has since layen dormant, until now."

I was just sitting there in the cold lab, thinking everything through, this
leech had killed my parents, then it entered me.

"Why professor. Where has it come from, what does it want???" i asked

"From what i gathered, only the one who's body is playing host to Leech can
control it, that would mean you. I spoke to Leech in your mind and it says
it feeds on Power and Desire. The more desire and power you come into
contact with, the stronger it gets"

"In a way honey, it's like the being who resides in my body. A being called
Phoenix" said Jean

"So let me get this straight, i have a dark being living in me, feeding off
of Desire and Power. If i feel desire or come into contact with anyones
power, it gets stronger.... is that right?"

"yes and no. If a mutant uses their power on you, Leech copys it and keeps
it for itself, its the same with desire. If a mutant in the area feels any
kind of desire for you, Leech will absorb it too and will get stronger. But
through concentration and control, you should be able to keep Leech under
control" explained the Professor

"Ok i get it now. But what about my mimicry power"

Hank now spoke up

"Your mimicry power has nothing to do with Leech. You are both separate
beings, it merely inhabits your body, it has no control over your powers,
therefore cannot access them. Your power works by emotions as well as
visual signals. when you witnessed Bobby and Jubilee's power, you must have
felt that they were good powers to have, and as a result, you copied them
for yourself, and now you will always have them"

i was being overloaed with information. I was looking at them, it was then
that i noticed someone else standing there. He was around 6'2 and had
browny redish hair, and was wearing a pair of red sunglasses. i just looked
at him,

"Scott, this is Scott Summers, or Cyclops"

he held out his hand and i took it and shaked it, he smiled at me, where i
returned it"

<Careful you, he's taken> said Jean telepathically

<Sorry Jean... but hes a hunk>

she laughed out loud, the professor just smiled. it was then that i
remembered John

"Professor where's john" i asked

"He's fine, he's resting, the fire severly burned him. he will be in bed
for the next couple of weeks.

i felt really bad, my stupid power put him there.

"Well, Scott, get some rest, we'll se you later" said the professor.

He, Cyclops, Hank, Storm, Jean left. Logan remained in the room with me,

"Listen bub, i dont trust you, so you will be getting watched very closley"
he said in a snarl

It was then that i heard this voice in my head speaking to me

"Scott, i know you can hear me. I am Leech, but do not be afraid of me. I
will not hurt you or the ones you love, i promise. I know that you are able
to control me, and as xavier probably told you, i feed off of Desire and
Power. This animal standing before you is a threat, let me out so i can
teach him a few things please"

(No Leech, you will never again be freed. so you will have to suffer. You
just said that would never hurt anyone i loved, but yet you hurt John)

"I only did that to protect you. You were in danger of dying if i didnt do
anything"

(maybe, but you should have left once you saved me, you didnt have to
attack the others)

"Are you even listening to me kid" asked Wolverine

"Yea, i hear you Logan. You dont trust me, so your gonna be watching me
like a hawk"

he huffed and turned to leave, giving me a perfect view of his ass

"Scott, please let me out."

(Why)

"Please, just for a few seconds, i want to see something."

(If i do this, you better go back when i tell you to. You better not hurt
Logan either)

"I promise you"

i let go and felt Leech taking over me once again. i could see everything
that was going on, but i couldnt do anything.

***LEECH'S POV***

Scott let go and i took over his body. This animal, this Logan, would not
be watching us, he will bow before me, he will do everything i wish.

I jumped off the table and ran up behind Logan. i grabbed him by the
shoulder and turned him around,

"What are you doing"

"Well, i know that you have been feeling some Desire for me, i mean who
wouldnt. i have the body of a gymanst, tight bubble ass, nice muslces.... i
could go on"

"Your wrong bub, now let go of me, or do i have to make you let go" he
snarled

(Who does this thing think he is, he cant force me, i can control emotions
and infuse others with desire)

"Do not speak to me in that tone. you will do everything i ask, do you hear
me"

"Yes master, i will do as you wish" said logan in a trance

I smiled to myslef at my accomplishment, it was then that i heard Scott's
voice,

"What are you doing, you cant control people like that. Worse, you will not
be using my body to feed your own desire, now get back here"

his will was strong, he was gaining control over me once again,

"Please Scott, let me have him, i have to fuck his ass, have you seen how
tight it looks"

"ok Leech look, Logan is a hunk and i wanna fuck him....

"Well let me, i can control him, i will have him riding us a second, just
leave me out for a few more minutes please"

"No, Leech"

"Scott please"

"LEECH I SAID GET BACK!!!!"

"Ok, jeez, god you dont have to shout at me. I know you want him and i know
he wants us, but he will never tell you. Anytime you want him or any othere
guy here, you let me out ok"

"Ok Leech"

i once again surrendered to the dark and let Scott take over

***SCOTT'S POV***

i felt leech leave and i took back over again. I looked at Logan and he
snapped out his trance, he looked at me, then said

"Remember i will be watching you very closley" then he left

I put on my clothes and went back up to my room where i could enjoy my own
bed. Tommorrow, i would have to go see John. I felt the darkness of sleep
take over me and i was out and back into dream land...... i heard a dark
laugh....................



Ok guys, im sorry for the wait. thanks to all those who are responding to
this story, im very grateful.
