Hey, my name's Xavier Piemonte. This is my first attempt at writing any
kind of fiction really. Any suggestions/comments please e-mail them to me
at X_Piemonte@hotmail.com

DISCLAIMER - This story is purely fictional and does not imply anything
about the true sexuality of the celebrities mentioned, and does not imply
anything about the private lives of them.

Just Hope, part one

"Glitz, glamour and gowns galore. It's quite unbelievable how much money
there is crammed into this room. It's in the dresses, the diamonds that
idly hang from their ears, their wrists and their necks. It's in their
tuxedos, their car keys, and for some of them it's on their faces or
stomachs. It's like they're competing with each other. I'm sure I saw her
smirking cause her diamonds were bigger than hers, or maybe it was her
tits...dunno. This isn't a party. It's more like the convention of the
chronically false..."

"Talking to yourself again Will?" came a voice from behind him.

Will turned round with a start to see his brother Rupert standing there
with a silly grin on his face, holding two glasses of champagne. He made
no response. Rupert disregarded his brother's positively weird behaviour,
putting it down to the sheer euphoria of the overall situation.

Will Young had been skyrocketed to the top. He had gone from Politics
graduate to super star in mere days, and he nor his family could believe
the change. He had money, a glitzy career and life style, and countless
fans all over the world. Will had already stepped confidently out of the
closet soon after his Pop Idol victory, and had retained the colossal
support from his fans, who loved him for him, not for who he slept with.

But Will was a young man troubled. Fact is, he felt lonely. No family with
him all the time, and no lover. He savoured every moment he got to spend
with his brother. Will loved taking him to these sorts of parties because
he could see how Rupert simply had the time of his life. Rupert got to
meet all his favourite stars, while at the same time, spend time with his
mega-star brother. But still Will was not happy fully. Of course he loved
his new life generally, he'd always wanted this. However there always
remained in him a gap that he could not fill, a puncture he could not fix.
He yearned for stability, and most of, he yearned for love. Not just any
old love, but a deep love. He longed to meet someone he could spend the
rest of his life with, but so far had been dashed, defeated and driven back
to misery and disillusionment.

"Will? You wanna look like you're enjoying yourself?"

"Oh...God...Sorry Rupert I must look...I'm sorry" Will replied, waking from
his half dreaming state.

"Don't apologise bro. I know you must be totally knackered. I bet this
party seems a drag. We don't have to stay if you don't want." Rupert hid
any possible disappointment at the prospect of leaving behind a facade
of a forced smiley face. Will saw straight through it.

"Nah, I'm fine." He perked up a bit. "Really, I'm fine. In fact..." He
took a glass from Rupert and took a generous swig. "...let's go and mingle
with all these...fab people."

With the two went into the crowd, nodding, saying the odd 'hey', 'hello'
and 'how are you?" and of course not forgetting the classic glass raising
and nodding where words could not be uttered. This party was massive. It
had the look of an enormous after-show party, but was in fact the house
party of a particularly well-known celeb couple. The vast sea of faces was
a little daunting, even to Will to some extent. As he shifted through the
crowd, he'd catch glimpses, glances and the odd smile. That's when it
happened. A single moment of contact that changed Will's entire life.

It's funny how such small events can bring such massive consequences.

Will's eyes stopped glazing, they were in total focus, locked, just for
those couple of seconds before having to whiz off again into the merging
crowd. This moment of contact was enough to make Will's heart skip a beat.
The whole room seemed to shift into slow motion and the two seconds seemed
like a lifetime at first. Desires and emotions rose and stayed with him
until he managed to escape the mob.

From the edges of the crowd he looked again for those eyes. He looked and
looked but couldn't meet their gaze again. His heart dropped, his emotions
sank, but the image remained his mind. Who's were those eyes? It was
hopeless. With all the dazzling eyes in the room it would be impossible to
find those ones again. He downed his drink in a kind of despair.

"HEY!" Said Rupert, emerging from the crowd himself, "Thought I'd lost you
for a second there pal. You ok? You look a little flustered." "Ah it's
just a little warm. I'm gonna go...get another drink. Would you like
another?"

Rupert held his glass up to eye level to exaggerate to Will the fact that
it was still practically full.

"Erm...no I think I'm ok"

Rupert gave a short chuckle, and turned back into the crowd. Will set off
for the bar. His mission: to get so pissed he wouldn't be able to remember
those eyes.

"What can I get you Mr Young?" asked the mancunian barman.

"Give me...a double vodka and lemona...just a double vodka"

"Coming up"

As will waited for his solution to arrive, an answer to his original
problem walked up behind him

"Hi"

Will turned round. There they were. Keeping his eyes locked again, he used
every part of his still functioning self to say just...

"Hi"

<End of Part One>

Hope you are enjoying the story so far. I didn't want to get straight into
the sex thing cause I really wanna have a go at a story, as in, one with a
plot. I've read a lot here and I've found the best stuff here are the ones
that are stories, and not just wild sex. Hope you all agree with my weird
kind of story philosophy. Like I say any suggestions or nething mail me at
X_Piemonte@hotmail.com Cheers.
