Ok as well before we start this is based on the series Star Trek Voyager
but with a twist from the original story line and i hope you like it.

Chapter 7: I will find you!

"So to clarify, Starfleet general order number one is better known as?" I
asked the class of first year cadets that were sat in front of me. A cadet
raised their hand. "Cadet Haynow." I said. "The prime directive sir." He
said "Good, now this is not to be confused with what?" I asked. "The
temporal prime directive which is general order 57." He replied. "Very good
cadet so you do listen after all." I replied. "Yes sir." He replied. I
smiled. "The temporal prime directive. The none interference in historical
events and prevention of any changes in the timeline. In addition to that
you always have to remember discuss your experiences with no one." I
said. "This is your main part of temporal physics. Remember this when you
spend your time aboard starships because undoubtedly on any time aboard a
ship you are going to run into something temporal and this is when you need
to remember that one general order." I told them. A cadet raised her hand
to ask a question. "Yes cadet?" I asked. She stood up and looked at me "Sir
I feel I need to ask though you say to always remember the temporal prime
directive but how many times in your career have you ever broken that
directive and yet you are still here standing as an admiral, the deputy
chief of Starfleet and the chief of Starfleet security. To note most
recently your future self teamed up with you currently and a future Admiral
Janeway teamed up with the current Admiral Janeway in order to bring
Voyager home 16 years ahead of schedule and in doing so gained an advantage
against the Borg with future technology in order to defeat them and get
home early. How do you justify this and still stand here and claim to us
that the temporal prime directive must be upheld." She asked me. I stood
there dumbfounded that a first year cadet for one could ask that question
and two knew about these events. "Cadet as you rightly know having spent
your whole life aboard a starship you know that sometimes these things
don't always go to plan. Isn't that right Cadet Wildman?" I asked. "Yes
sir." She said sitting down. "As Cadet Wildman rightly pointed out there
aren't things that go to plan that mean you have to uphold the temporal
prime directive but I am not here to tell you that things don't always go
to plan. I am here to teach you the correct way and proper way that the
temporal prime directive has to be upheld." I said. "Now if you don't mind
loading your terminals and conducting a search for breaches of the temporal
prime directive and the outcomes of those incidents." I said as I turned
and sat back down at my desk. I breathed out loud looking at Naomi and
smiling.

"Hey hun I'm home." I said as I walked in through the front door. "Hey
babe, how was class?" Tom said coming in from the kitchen with a coffee in
hand for me. "Naomi showed me up in class today wasn't a fun
experience. Asking me about the temporal prime directive and how I had
broken it." I told him. "Sounds like fun." He said. "Did you complete the
security sweep?" I asked. "Yeah the security teams are up to date, the
sweep came back clear and above all else the main tactical diagnostic came
back all good. So it's been a good day." He told me. "Sounds fun. Did you
clear yourself with the doctor?" I asked. "Yeah he gave me a clean bill of
health." He said. "Good. So what you cooking for dinner?" I asked. "I'm not
you are." He said. "I've just sat the kids down for dinner." He said
pointing to my two little cherubs who were sat at the kitchen table. "Hey
daddy." They both said. "Hey babies. What are they eating?" I
asked. "Lasagne, salad and garlic bread." He told me. "Good." I said
walking into the lounge. "So what do you fancy for dinner?" he asked me. "I
think I know what I will cook I just need to run out to the supermarket." I
told him putting my case down and then grabbing my ID card. "Okay I'll see
you soon." He said. I kissed him on the cheek and headed out the door and
walked down the road to the transporter where I transported across to the
supermarket. Walking around I grabbed a pack of 2 fillet steaks, some
mushrooms, some chips, some cream and a few other little things before
walking passed the scanner and swiping my ID card and then transporting
back home. When I arrived I found the front door slightly ajar and there
was a big scorch mark on the side of the wall. Instantly I put my bags down
and crept inside slowly and headed for the armoury. Noticing the door was
already open and a phaser was missing I instantly assumed that Tom had
taken one to protect the kids. I grabbed one for myself and charged it and
then a tricorder. Opening it and scanning I found Tom and the kids
lifesigns in Emma's room. I also saw 4 reptilian lifesigns outside in the
pool house. I quickly shot up the stairs and made my way in to Emma's
room. "Daddy." Matthew shouted me. "Shhhh baby please." I said going to
him. "Tom what happened?" I asked. "I dunno they came out of no where and
burst through the door luckily I was up here already about to bath these
2." He said. "Did you take a phaser?" I asked. "Yeah I managed to get to
one as they went outside. I threw them off by sending false readings to the
pool house." He told me. "Okay have you told Starfleet?" I asked. "No my
commbadge is in the kitchen." He told me. "Okay monitor them." I said
handing him a tricorder. "This is Admiral Carter to Starfleet command, I
have a code black situation in occurrence at my home. 5 reptilian xindi are
currently in my home requesting emergency assistance." I said. "Jack they
are heading back inside." Tom told me. "Get down to my office and ill be
there in a sec. Tom send out a scattering signal and also send them down to
the kids play area right at the bottom of the orchard that will buy us some
time." I said. Tom did so and then took the kids down to my office. I
watched out the window as the xindi moved down towards the
orchard. "Admiral Carter, This is commander Samantha Jones of Starfleet
command I am the duty officer. We have logged your call and security team
is en route, ETA 6 minutes. I have also alerted Admiral Janeway." She
said. "Thank you Commander." I said as I suddenly saw Emma's playhouse
explode. That would be the gas canister underneath it. "Sorry Emma I will
get you a new for Christmas." I said aloud as I moved out of the bedroom
and down to my office. Once inside I locked the door and turned on my
monitor to delete all my sensitive files. Just as I was doing so Admiral
Janeway and three security officers beamed in. "Jack are you guys okay?"
she asked. "Yeah we are fine thanks for coming" I said. "Anytime." She said
coming to me and withdrawing her phaser. "Jack they are heading inside."
Tom said. "Ensigns, take my kids and transport back to Starfleet
command. Once there tell the duty officer to raise planetary shields and
mobilise as many ships as possible. Also scan for xindi ships cloaked or
otherwise in orbit I want to know how they got here." I said to the 2 main
security officers. "Matt, Emma go with the men and you will be safe. I'll
have grandma and grandad meet you there." I said. "Okay daddy." Matt said
taking Emma by the hand. They transported back away to Starfleet. I sent a
message to my parents and told them to meet the kids at Starfleet
command. "They are in the lobby." Tom said. "Okay we go at this from both
side of the staircase. Kathryn you stay here." I said she nodded and Tom
and I left the room and snuck across the landing and stood either side of
the pillars at the top of the stairs. I looked to him and nodded as I we
whirled around and both took aim and fired. I missed my target but Tom hit
his head on. They instantly fired back and we managed to avoid the
fire. Before I knew they were coming up the stairs and managed to get to
the top. As the one closest to me got to the top I swung my leg high and
hit him straight in the jaw. He grabbed me and swung me across the
landing. He then dove for me but I managed to roll out the way and as I did
I noticed Tom and one of the other reptilians engaged in hand to hand
combat, but I didn't see the third. "JACK!!!" Kathryn shouted from my
office. Adrenaline took over and I kicked the reptilian in the stomach and
knocked him just enough to crawl back and grab the phaser from the floor
and fired point blank at the reptilian and killed him instantly. Whirling
on the floor I took quick aim towards the one holding onto Tom by the
throat and fired killing him as well. "Kathryn!" I said standing and
running to the office. When I got in there I found a reptilian holding a
weapon to her temple. "Stand down, the game is over I killed your 2 men out
there don't make me kill you too." I said. "And risk your commander and
chief. I think not. General Dolav will make great use of her." He hissed at
me. Tom went to move towards him. "Take one more step and she will be dead
before you reach me." He hissed again. "Tom don't move." I said. I looked
at Kathryn straight in the eyes as I saw the fear she was feeling. "I will
find you Kathryn on that you have my word. And you I will find you and when
I do find you I am going to kill you." I said to him. "Good luck." He said
as he pulled a remote from his belt and transported away with her. I looked
to Tom, "Just great." I said aloud.

Minutes later I was stood in the command centre and the place was alive
with activity everyone was running around as I stood around the centre
console with Tom studying sensor readings. "Did Kathryn have the dental
implant?" he asked. "No I had the only prototype we had." I said. "So
that's not an option." He said. "Not this time." I said. "Admiral Carter."
A female voice said entering the room. "Madam President." I said walking
over and shaking her hand. "Is the rumour true, that Admiral Janeway has
been taken." She asked. "Yes ma'am. At this time I may like to point out
that with the commander and chief incapacitated you are at liberty to
assume command." I said. "Negative Jack I wouldn't have a clue where to
start. You are best suited for this. As of right now I am I placing you as
the acting commander and chief until the return of Admiral Janeway. Get to
it." She said before she left. "Yes ma'am." I replied. "Attention all
personnel this is Admiral Carter, I am initiating protocol Alpha Talon with
immediate effect. All personnel to battle stations. With immediate effect I
have also assumed the position of Commander and Chief until the return of
Admiral Janeway. Carter out." I said. "Okay everyone I want this room
secured and this building locked down. No one but no one leaves or enters
this room without my direct permission. Move it." I shouted. "Tom get my
protection team over here and get them to secure this room and building no
one leaves or enters without my prior approval. I want every Admiral on the
base back in this room and a consultation meeting as soon as possible." I
said to Mr Daley who had now joined us. "Yes Admiral." He replied. The room
soon filled up with Admirals and my protection team. "Admirals, to the
conference room. I will join you there shortly." I said. They all filed out
and into the conference room. "Commander, how did those xindi get to the
earth?" I asked. "Via a ferengi trading vessel. The vessel has now been
impounded and 2 xindi reptilians have been placed in the brig." She told
me. "How did that xindi get off world then?" I asked. "He used a Starfleet
class 2 shuttle craft which was hanging around in orbit as protection. We
have been tracking the warp signature and are watching where they are. They
are 4 light years out already travelling at warp 8." She told me. "Good,
and Voyager is she ready to launch?" I asked. "Yes sir." She replied. "Good
then get my old senior staff back on that ship and advise them to assume
their usual positions. Tell Captain Kim his official launch will have to be
put back as im taking command of that ship." I said as I grabbed Tom and
headed into the conference room where the whole room was up in arms. As
soon as the doors closed behind me the room went silent as people took
their seats. "Thank you." I said taking the head seat. "So you all know
what happened. An hour ago Kathryn Janeway was abducted in my home by the
Xindi. I am now mounting a rescue mission to go get her back." I
said. "Jack with all due respect is that wise, we have already lost one
commander and chief today should you be going?" my mother asked me. "Yes
Admiral, because before she was taken I made that woman my friend a promise
that I will get her back." I said. "So what will happen?" Admiral Fargo
asked me. "I am taking the new Voyager and launching the moment this
meeting has finished. I am going to get that woman back." I said. "So who
will take command Jack?" my dad asked. "Until this is over I am going to be
turning over command of Starfleet to the next in line. Admiral Julie Carter
you are to take over command of Starfleet until mine or Kathryn's return do
you understand?" I said to my mother. "Yes sir." She replied. "Good then
it's settled. All of you are to remain at protocol Alpha Talon and to
prepare this base and planet for a possible xindi attack. I want the first
second and third fleet back to earth within the hour and to assume a
tactical defensive position around the system and around this planet. All
stations are to remain at Red Alert. Admiral Whitehall launch all shuttles
and have them begin a low surface protection grid cover." I ordered. "Yes
sir." He replied. "Ed your mums second. Okay everyone lets go." I said to
Admiral Jellico as Tom and I left the room followed by everyone else. I
immediately tapped by commbadge and requested a beam out to Voyager. Once I
was on board I immediately headed for the bridge.

Stepping off the bridge I found my senior staff ready at their
posts. "Captain Kim im sorry to do this to you but I am scrubbing your
official launch and taking over command of your vessel in order to mount a
rescue of Admiral Janeway." I said facing him. "No problem sir, just try
not to damage this one please." He said. I smiled at him. "I'll try." I
said taking the centre seat as Tom sat by my side and updated the
computers. "B'Elanna?" I asked. "All systems report ready Jack. We are
cleared to depart." She told me. "Good, then Mr Paris lay in a course for
that shuttle and clear our departure with dock master." I said. "Course
entered, the dock master has given us approval to depart." He told
me. "Ready thrusters." I said. "Thrusters ready." Harry advised. "Initiate
launching sequence." I said. "Sequence underway." Paris announced. "Take us
out." I said as I sat down the captains chair. Paris slowly flew us out of
the dock and away we went. "Clear of the dock Jack." He advised. "What time
do we have to make up to catch up with Kathryn?" I asked. "2 hours."
B'Elanna told me. "Then let's not waste anymore time. Mr Paris set a
course." I said. "Course plotted Admiral." He replied. "Maximum
warp. Engage." I said as the ship took off at maximum warp. "On course at
speed warp 9.999" he said smiling. "Maintain course." I replied. The
journey at warp didn't take very long as Tom and I checked over some
systems and did a little tour of the ship. The basic elements were the same
but as a captain, and for me former captain of this ship's mother, I could
see the subtle differences and the changes that had been made during our
time in the delta quadrant. "Admiral, we are closing on the shuttle." Paris
announced. "Where are they?" I asked. "In orbit of a class L moon orbiting
Triona." He told me. Triona was the last planet before heading into the
Delphic expanse, the facility down there was originally controlled by the
Klingons, but given the recent war they abandoned the planet and the moons
and the xindi naturally came and took them over and now used it as their
border station. "How many xindi ships are in orbit?" I asked. "47." Harry
told me. "Can you scan for Kathryn's bio signs from this distance." I
asked. "Yes sir, she is in a chamber 500 meters below the surface and
surrounded by xindi reptilians, one of whom appears to be General Dolav."
Harry said. "Fine, Kyle, Harry your with me. Doctor meet us in transporter
room one." I said as I stood up. "Your going down there?" Tom asked. "Yes I
am. Try to keep the ship from being too badly damaged. Shes brand new." I
said to him. "Ill do my best." He replied. "Sir don't you think as your
tactical officer I should join you." B'Elanna said. "Not this time B'Elanna
I need you and Mr Paris here, the best people on board who can fly and
shoot, and that is what your going to need in the next few minutes." I said
heading for the turbolift. "Oh and B'Elanna try the new multi phased phase
cannons." I said smiling as I entered the turbolift. "The what?" she
asked. "You will see." I replied as I called out, "Deck 9." As the doors to
the turbolift closed and we began to descend. Arriving on deck 9 we ran
round the corner and entered an armoury and grabbing a phaser, tricorder
and compression riffle each we quickly left as the doctor arrived in the
transporter room already armed. "All set?" I asked, they all
nodded. "Carter to Conn, take us out of warp as close to the planet as you
can." I said. I felt the ship exit warp and then slow down. "Ready to
energise" Luke said. "Do it." I replied. We dematerialised and re-appeared
below the surface in a long corridor. There were no xindi around so I
instantly grabbed out my tricorder and balancing the compression riffle
with one hand I managed to pickup kathryns life signs. "This way." I said
as we started to walk down the corridor. As we got closer I watched on the
tricorder as 4 xindi soldiers were walking towards us. Putting my tricorder
away we continued walking and as they rounded the corner we each took aim
and fired at them all killing them all. Stepping over their lifeless bodies
we continued walking until we reached the chamber Kathryn was in. As we
turned the corner to enter the chamber 6 reptilians took aim and fired at
us. We all managed to duck behind the corner. Throwing my riffle across my
back I withdrew my phaser and creeping around the corner I took aim and
shot at 2 of them causing them both to stumble and fall to the floor. Harry
did the same taking out another 2. "Doctor." I said as he moved round the
corner. We saw them fire at him and then heard him take them both
down. "Clear." He said. Grabbing my riffle again we continued to the
chamber entrance. "Kyle." I said as he moved forward and placing special
charges on the door he set them before moving back. "Do it." I said as he
activated the charges and the door blew open setting off an alarm. As we
went into the room I saw Dolav and the guard who had captured Kathryn in my
house. Aiming my riffle at Dolav, "Don't move or I swear to god I will blow
your ugly head off." I said. He held his hands up moving away, as did the
other guard. "You will never make it out of here alive." Dolav
hissed. "Don't be so sure. Harry get the Admiral." I said noticing she was
too naked and hanging from the ceiling in chains her baby belly on
display. Her body was dripping with blood and sweat and the scars and
bruises were horrible. She was a mess. "Don't you have any respect for a
pregnant person. Luckily enough you didn't harm my child." I said. Harry
released Kathryn as held him close to her. "Errr Jack we have company."
Kyle said. "Voyager, we have Kathryn get us out of here." I said as I hit
my commbadge. "Transporters have taken damage, I can get 4 of you, then I
need to reset the pattern buffer and get the last one." Tom said. "Fine
take everyone but me." I said. "Aye sir." Tom replied. I watched as the
transported away. "Oh and you I owe this too." I said swinging my riffle
around and firing four volleys at the guard who I said I would kill. I
watched his body fall to the floor and the life drain from his eyes. "You
killed my lieutenant." Dolav hissed drawing a knife and coming for
me. "Jack your coming home." Tom said as I dematerialised and re-appeared
on the bridge. Throwing my riffle down on the captains chair. "3 more ships
to port." Paris said. "Fire phasers evasive pattern delta 4." I said. The
ship shook. "Armour at 52%." B'Elanna replied. "Mr Paris get us out of here
now. Back to earth maximum warp. Engage." I said as the ship instantly took
off at warp. "They are in pursuit." B'Elanna said. "Contact Starfleet and
advise the fleets to move to intercept us." I advised. "Message
sent. Captain Picard is en route with the fleets." Harry said. "Good
maintain course." I said. "Bridge to doctor report." I said. "It's not good
Jack, I need you to come down here right away." He said. I looked at Tom,
"You have the bridge." I said running over to the turbolift and off the
bridge.

Running round the last corner I entered sickbay to see the doctor scanning
Kathryn. "Doctor?" I said. "Jack, the Admiral has suffered a punctured lung
and is bleeding internally. She isn't going to survive and neither will the
baby." He told me. "Anything you can do?" I asked. "I can try to save one
of the two lives but I can't do both." He told me. "Which would she want?"
I asked. "She would want to save the life of her child, but as a Starfleet
doctor I am obligated to try and save the life of the commander and chief
as my first priority." He told me. "We need another option." He added. I
stood there and thought for a second. "Q" Kathryn groaned lightly. "Q if
you can hear me, I need you now more than ever. Kathryn needs you now more
than ever. We have saved your butts enough times and you owe us a big
favour. I need your help to save Kathryn and her child before they both
die." I said aloud. In that instant a bright white flash appeared to my
side. "Jack Darling, if you needed help then all you had to do was ask."
The female Q said, junior Q's mother. "Then do it save her." I said. She
snapped her fingers and as if my magic she vanished again. The doctor went
over to the Admiral and scanned her. "She's stabilising, the puncture has
sealed and the blood has cleared from throughout her body." The doctor told
me. "The baby?" I asked. "Fine. Good call Jack." The doctor said. "Don't
thank me thank the admiral." I said as the ship shook. "I need to get up
there." I said leaving sickbay and heading back for the bridge.

Arriving on the bridge I saw on the viewscreen at the first second and
third fleets were engaging the xinid. "Okay I have had just about enough of
this for one day." I said as I walked to the centre of the bridge. "Harry
order those ships to withdraw and head back to earth." I said. "Message
sent." He said. I watched as the fleets went to warp and left. "B'Elanna
load the 6 tri-cobalt devices and target evenly between those ships enough
to cause a nice big shockwave and then charge the multi phased phase
cannons and target those tri-cobalt devices. Set the devices to 20,000
terra chocrans." I said. "Yes sir." She said. "Jack what the hell?" tom
said as the xindi continued to fire at us. "Ready Jack." B'Elanna
said. "Fire the torpedoes." I said. I watched as they flew away. "Phase
cannons." I said as the phase cannons fired hitting all 6 devices and
causing them all to explode. "Level 12 shockwave on approach." Paris
said. "Earth NOW!" I shouted as he took us to warp. I watched on the
sensors as the shockwave enveloped the fleet of xindi ships. "Nice move
Jack" B'Elanna said. "History will no doubt remember that as the Carter
Manoeuvre." Tom said. "Not to be attempted lightly but as I just had to ask
Q for help to save Kathryn and her child I thought I had to end a few lives
for what they almost did to her." I said. "Well that's fine then." B'Elanna
said as we all chuckled. "Mr Paris, if you would be so kind, take this ship
home." I said. "With great pleasure sir." He said as he flew the ship
towards earth.

A few weeks passed, I remained as the acting commander and chief for the
time Kathryn needed to heal. As Tom and I left the house and beamed over,
he looked at me and smiled. "Is Kathryn coming?" he asked. "Yeah, she's
doing the ceremony." I said. "Sounds good." He said holding my hand. We
materialised on the transporter pad of Drydock 4 where Voyager was being
held. Walking to the observation room we entered and memories came back to
me where I first met Kathryn in this very room. Walking to the podium Tom
tapped a glass as the room began to quieten down. "Ladies and Gentleman
thank you all for coming. I would like to make my introduction as brief as
possible and turn the stage over to our commander and Chief Admiral Kathryn
Janeway." I said as she walked on from the side and stood on the
podium. "Thank you my friend. Well this day is over due and I'm sure I
speak for everyone when I say that it is much needed. As you all know the
U.S.S Voyager was my first command and I stranded that ship 70,000 light
years from home. Today we are here to commission the second ship to be
named Voyager. This ship has already gained a huge history by returning me
back to earth and saving my life all thanks to Admiral Jack Carter. So
without further a do, I will close by saying It's not the end, but fare
forward Voyagers." She said as everyone clapped. "Now to turn over to
Admiral Carter." She said as I stepped back onto the podium. "Thank you
Admiral. Now Captain Harry Kim can you please step forward." I said as
Harry walked up to the podium and joined me. "Captain Kim, As I was
directly responsible for the near total destruction of the last ship called
Voyager it gives me great pleasure of official turn over command of this
new ship designation U.S.S Voyager NCC 74656-A with immediate with yourself
as the new Captain of this ship." I said to him as I handed him the new
dedication plaque. "Thank you Admiral." He said. "Station please Captain."
I said. He turned and led his senior staff off the platform and out the
room to Voyager. After a few moments the comm chimed and the whole room
went silent as the cameras in the area recorded the exciting part. "This
Captain Kim to Admiral Carter, I am requesting permission to depart." He
said. "Captain Kim, it gives me great pleasure to clear you for departure."
I said. "Thank you Admiral." Harry replied. "Initiate umbilical separation
and clear the space dock at ? impulse." I replied. "Yes sir. Kim out."
Harry replied as we all watched as the ship pulled away from space dock and
flew away. "So there goes another one." Tom said coming to my side. "May
she fair well." I replied. "Jack." Kathryn said coming to me. "Admiral,
good to see you up and about." I said. "No thanks to you keeping me
supplied with Coffee and having the doctor pay daily house calls." She
said. "I can't keep running this show all by myself you belong back here."
I said. "Well you will be pleased to know that in the morning I am back
where I belong." She said as I smiled. "Glad to hear it. That means I can
give the reigns back." I replied. "See you in the morning Jack, bright and
early at 07:00, we have a meeting with Admiralty at 08:00." She told me. "I
remember." I replied as Tom and I slipped out.

Getting home and putting the kids to bed that night Tom and I climbed in to
bed and he looked at me. "I love you after today, you showed your ability
to the knight in shining armour." He said. "I love you too for always
standing by my side." I replied. Well guess what your about to become all
mine." I said as I rolled over on top of him. Using my legs to open his
legs I moved between his legs as I kissed him deeply and
passionately. "Mmmmm baby, what do you think you about to do?" he asked
me. "This." I said as I lifted his legs in the air. My cock rock solid I
slowly moved closer and closer to his hole as he felt the tip against his
tight hole. "Oh yeah, you wanna fuck me do you?" he asked. I nodded in
reply with a seductive and sexy look on my face. He leaned forward till his
lips were pressed against my ear. "Take me baby." He said. This needed no
