Ok as well before we start this is based on the series Star Trek Voyager
but with a twist from the original story line and i hope you like it.

Chapter 17 - Q Again

Kathryn and I walked into her office with him following us. "What exactly
is it that you want? Because to be frank I'm still a little unclear." I
said. "As I have already told you I need your help." He replied. "With what
exactly? I can't imagine what you would need us for." Kathryn said. "It's

told me. "So what sort of history are we looking at here? History of the Q
I'm guessing." Kathryn asked. "No, worse. It's your history that they are
moving him through. The last time I got close to him was on Voyager during
your encounter with Captain Ransom." Q said. "So let me get this straight,
these rebel Q are moving your father through Starfleet history." Kathryn
asked. "Yes ma'am." Q replied. "Jack thoughts." She asked looking at
me. "We have to stop them. The temporal integrity commission will have a
field day with this." I said. "Agreed, but if we go waltzing through time,
they will have just as much to say to us." She replied. "Aunt Kathy, Uncle
Jack you are the only people who can help me with this. And my father
always said if something were to happen to him you two should be the first
people I come to." He told us. "Where's your mother?" I asked. "She's still
out there looking for him. We have agreed to try different points in
time. She is taking the entire 22nd and 23rd century's and I'm doing
everything else." He told us. "That's a lot of history to cover. And what
if we run into ourselves? Think of the consequences. And also if we go to
our future. That's even worse." I said. "its fine, any mistakes we make I
will correct." Q told us. "Kathryn this is your call." I said looking at
her. "With all that Q put us through when we were on Voyager I should be
saying no. But you Q, I can't say no to. You showed yourself to be a true
and respectable young man when you were with us. Well in the end you did
anyway. But I feel I owe it to your father. And to you." Kathryn said. "So
you will help me?" Q asked. "Yes we will help." Kathryn replied. "But first
I think we need to brief certain people." I told her. "Negative, if we
go. We go now. But Q I want to make one thing clear. When this is over you
return us to this exact time and place. I don't want anyone to know that we
were gone." She told him. "Of course Aunt Kathy." He told her. "Fine, lets
go." She said. With that Q snapped his fingers and we were away.

When we re-appeared I was standing on Voyager in a corridor with the ship
at red alert. "What time is this?" I asked. "Stardate 54326.7, your
incident with the Hirogen and the Holograms. Right now I believe you are in
the wake of a hirogen ship." He told us. "Oh I remember this day well."
Kathryn said. "What about our uniforms?" I asked. "Don't worry when people
look at you, they wont see Kathryn Janeway and Jack Carter, they will see

breathed a sigh of relief. "So now what?" Kathryn asked. "First thing is
you two need to get a tricorder so we can try to find them." He said as we
made our way down the corridor. We entered a weapons locker and grabbed a
couple of tricorder for us. I was about to grab some phasers when Q stopped
me. "Jack, those sort of weapons wont work on the Q, remember. But if you
recall there were special Q type weapons. Kathy." Q said. "I remember they
injured Q severely. But they were weapons of the 18th century. We can't use
them." Kathryn said. "That's why I have something more modern for you." He
said clicking his fingers and a small case appeared. I went to open it and
found 2 phasers and a 2 compression riffles. "Exactly the same just for
your era. They will cause injury and even death to a Q." he told us. "Right
Q I want to know one thing. Why have you brought us to this time?" Kathryn
asked as I got the weapons out and attached one to my belt. "Because this
is where they were last." He told us. "How do you know that?" I

my way now. "Good, Lieutenant I believe Mr Tuvok wants you to join the Beda

my way there now. I have already been informed." Kathryn replied. "Well I

on the decks below either." I said. "There not here Q" Kathryn said. "Wait
let me try and sense him." He said. He breathed out and closed his eyes. "I
know where they are. They are 10 years ahead. On Earth." He said. "That's 8
years into our future." Kathryn said. "We have to go." Q said and before we
could respond he snapped his fingers.

When we appeared, there was a lot going on. People running around armed,
people with med kits and engineering kits. There was a sense of panic and
hurry in the air. "What's happening here?" I asked. "Maybe we shouldn't
know. Let's just try and find Q." Kathryn said pulling out her
tricorder. She began to scan. "I have found them. They are in?" and then
she stopped. "What? Where are they?" I asked. "I don't know. I have never
seen this place before." She said. I went over and looked at her
scans. "That's new." I said looking at her. "Q where is this as you seem to
know what's happening here." I asked. "That is an underground secure
bunker. To protect Starfleet senior personnel from orbital bombardment." He
said. I looked at Kathryn and then at Q. "Okay start talking, what time are
we in?" Kathryn said. "This is a time when the federation is in danger and
at War." Q said. "A war with who?" I asked. "A species that seven of nine
is going to find on her exploration of the delta quadrant. They are called
The Delphasians. They live in a remote region of space, in the delta
quadrant. They are ruthless and extremely violent. Seven made an error and
crossed into their space. You have been enemies since. For the last 5
year." Q explained. "How did they get to the earth?" I asked. "Via
transwarp, they bought off the Voth."  Q told us. "Oh great those guys
again." I said. "Jack!" Kathryn snapped. "Right now there is an armada of
ships trying to take over your planet because of something you found in a

any chance at all of saving your father." Kathryn said. We quickly ran out
the building we were in and across the forecourt. I saw 3 aliens coming up
to the left of us. "Q, will these weapons work on none Q." I asked. "Of
course, in fact the effect would be worse." He replied. I stopped puling
