Paul and Josh: chapter 1

Paul Walker entered his apartment. It had been a totally
boring day and he was glad it was over. He had about ten
interviews for various magazines and newspapers today
promoting his latest movie. Even though interviews were a
big part of movie-stardom he hated them.
Always...always...always the same damn questions: "how was it
to work with...", "how did you prepare for your role..." ,
"did you do this..." , "Did you think that...". Really if
`annoying was a boot, reporters would fit it. He was
completely exhausted after this ordeal so he was happy
with the idea of spending a nice quit evening at his
place, probably watching a movie or listen to some music.
Just as he was about to drop in the sofa and remain there
for the rest of the evening...his phone rang. "Dammit!"
Paul sighed as he walked to the phone. The call turned
out to be from his manager.

"Hey, what's up?" Paul asked.
"Good evening...Sorry to bother you this late Paul but I
need to run a few things by you that really can't wait."
His manager answered.
"Ok...what's new?" Paul asked, not that he was really
interested.
"Well I just had a phone call from a casting-director at
Wm- movie studio's. They want you for a new movie they're
shooting next month." His manager explained.
"Well, just send me the script and stuff and I'll see if
I'm interested." Paul was a little surprised his manager
would call for something like this. Normally he would
just send the scripts over and Paul would let him no
which ones he was interested in.
"Yeah...I will...but there's something you should know before
I send the script over..." His manager said. He sounded a
bit uneasy.
"I'm listening" Paul said.
"Well...It's...it's a gay coming of age movie" his manager
said.
"No kidding huh..." Paul laughed, "No...I don't thing I'll be
interested in that."
"I thought you wouldn't..." His manager spoke "But they're
offering a lot of money though...apparently they have their
mind set on you...they already booked Josh Hartnett for one
of the leading roles...and they really want you for the
other lead."

Paul didn't really know how to respond to this. For years
he had wished he could one day get the opportunity to
play in a movie with Josh. Now his manager was offering
him exactly that so he wanted to jump the opportunity
without a second thought. Problem was letting his manager
know he actually was interested in the movie without
making it obvious the mention of Hartnetts name had made
him change his mind.

"So...the money? Is it really that good?" Paul asked.
"Yeah it really is..." His manager confirmed, "Why? You
interested?"
"Maybe..." Paul answered "you know I've been thinking of
doing a movie of my own so I'll be needing all the funds
I can get."

Paul was amazed at his quick thinking. "I guess I really
am a good actor" he thought to himself, "convincing him
it's a money thing." He laughed at the idea.

"So I'll send you the script then?" His manager asked.
"Yeah...I'll decide once I've read it." Paul answered.

With that the conversation ended. Paul couldn't believe
he finally had the opportunity to work with Hartnett.
Ever since he first saw `Halloween H2o' he'd been taken
away by the boy's stunning good looks. Since then he had
wished for the chance he had just received. Paul had
known he was gay for quit some time now but had kept it
hidden from just about everyone because he knew it might
damage his career if this became public knowledge. Aside
from his parents no one had any idea he wasn't into
girls. Because of his fright to out himself to anyone his
romantic life over the past couple of years could easily
be described as "all quit on the western front", meaning
as uneventful as a Mexican soccer match.

Inspired by the phone call earlier Paul really had no
trouble deciding what movie he was going to watch
tonight. He pulled `Hollywood Homicide' out of his DVD-
rack, put it on, and fell back into the sofa.

...

Paul awoke the next morning by the sound of the doorbell.
He was still half asleep so it took him some time to
realize someone was at the door. He quickly put on some
blue jeans and a shirt and went to the door. "Yes?" he
spoke through the intercom. "I have a delivery for Mr.
Walker." A voice answered. "Come on up" He said as he
unlocked the door. Two minutes later he was holding a
dark-brown envelop. It was the script the manager
promised to send him. He immediately took a seat and
started to read it. While reading it he became more and
more enthusiastic about the project. The story was so
well written and so cleverly plotted all his reserves
about playing a gay role vanished. He recognised a lot of
storylines in his own life. The fear of someone finding
out, hurtful comments or jokes by unaware friends,...

Suddenly a shock went through his body. While reading the
script he had forgotten his `love interest' in the movie
was going to be played by Josh. Now it came back to him
and from what he read in the script not only were there
several scenes where he was going to be kissing the guy
but there were also as far as he could tell two nude-
scenes. He got a heavy feeling in his stomach...cause
saying the thought made him feel worried and uneasy was
just a smidge of an understatement. He put the script
back on the table as he tried to get his thoughts
together. The chance of working with Josh was something
he had hoped for quit some time, but what he just read
was a bit more then he bargained for. He stood up and
walked to the terrace of his apartment. Paul was not a
smoker, but from time to time...when the stress really got
to him he smoked one to calm himself down. This was one
of those moments. As he stood there, looking over the
city while inhaling the smoke, he tried to think what he
was going to do now. He really didn't know.

Suddenly the phone rang. It was his manager...again. He
informed Paul he really needed a decision concerning the
movie since it's producers wanted to start filming next
week instead of next month. Something about the
director's schedule, his manager said. Paul needed to
make a decision right now...he tried to think but couldn't.
"Well Paul what's it going to be?" His manager asked.
With a sudden confidence Paul chose to ignore his fear
and doubts and answered, "Yes...I'll do the movie." A heavy
burden fell of his shoulders. "Ok, I'll send you
everything you need to know...Schedule, contacts, phone-
numbers,...the whole deal" His manager said. "Can you take
care of hotels and air-line tickets as well?" Paul asked.
"That's not necessary..." his manager answered, "the
filming will take place right here in NYC, so you can
stay at your place.". "Convenient" Paul said. The talked
some details for a few minutes and then wrapped up their
conversation.

The rest of the morning Paul used to read the script
again. From time to time people associated with the movie
would call him. The director called and set up a meeting
with the producers and the directing team to discuss the
movie. It was a busy morning to say the least. After
having answered about a dozen calls the phone rang again.
"Ok this is the last call I'll answer today" Paul vowed
to himself as he was beginning to get real frustrated
with the fact that every two minutes his phone rang. He
answered. It turned out to be his mother who was just
wanted to check how he was doing. They talked a while
about the new movie, life in NYC and just some pointless
small talk. Twenty minutes later Paul put the phone back
down.

Paul had just hooked the phone back in when it started to
ring again. "Not again!" Paul thought. He stood there a
few seconds debating whether or not to pick up the phone.
Since he was already standing in front of the annoying
machine he decided this would be the REAL last call he'd
answer today. He picked up the phone.

"Hello" he said.
"Hi..." a voice said on the other end, "Is this Paul
Walker?"
"Yes...who is this?" Paul asked.
"Hi... I'm Josh Hartnett." Answered the voice on the other
end.

Paul was taken by surprise...for a moment he didn't know
what to say. He thanked his lucky stars he had answered
this call...but was a bit nervous at the same time.

"You still there?..." Josh asked.
"Yeah...I'm sorry...I'm not totally here today I guess...People
have been calling me all morning so I'm a bit tired right
now...but I'm still here." He answered.
" Oh...sorry to bother you then..." Josh apologised.
"No, I didn't mean it like you were bothering me..." Paul
interrupted, fearing Josh might hang up.
"I was just told you're going to take the part in, I
guess you'd call it, `our' movie next week." Josh said.
"Jesus! News spreads around quickly." Paul laughed. "Yeah
I decided to take the part just a few hours ago."
"So I heard...Listen I just wanted to ask if it were
possible for you to get together somewhere this
week...Since we'll be doing the movie together I would like
to get to know you a bit better if we're going to work
together." Josh said.

Again Paul was taken by surprise when he heard this. His
heart was racing by now. His dream-guy had just asked if
he'd be interesting in getting together sometime. He
needed some time to regroup but he knew he was going to
jump at this opportunity. Still he didn't want to seem
over-enthusiastic about it so he replied:

"Yeah...that would be cool...when?" he asked.
"Whenever suits you." Josh replied.
"I'm kind of busy this week..." Paul sighed as he flipped
through his agenda. He sighed again. "Tomorrow I have a
day of...but I was going to use that to study the script
again. It looks like tonight is about the only opening I
have left in my schedule."
"Tonight would work for me..." Josh replied.
"Then I guess tonight it is..." concluded Paul. Then
something dawned on Paul. "Wait a minute...does the mean
you're in NY already?" He asked.
"Yeah...I arrived yesterday. I always need some time to
adapt to a new location. That's why I came a week in
advance. When I saw you lived in NY on one of the lists
the movie-people sent me I thought I'd give you a ring"
Josh explained.
"OK...so what do you want to do tonight then?" Paul asked.
"I don't know...go to a bar or something, someplace not to
crowded or noisy so when can talk about the movie and
stuff." Josh answered.
"Sounds cool...I know just THE place...why don't you come to
my place and we'll go from here." Paul said.
"OK...I got the address...so shall we say around eight?" Josh
replied.
"OK...see you then...you know how to get here?" Paul asked.
"I'll manage..." Josh answered, "See ya tonight."

With that they ended their conversation. Paul could not
believe what had just happened. He looked at the clock
and saw it was 2.00 pm. In six hours Josh would be here
and they were going to spend the evening together. "How
great is this!" He thought to himself. He decided to take
a shower first and then grab something to eat. Since
people had been bothering him from the moment he got up
he hadn't had the chance to do either one. He walked to
the bathroom. For a moment he debated whether he'd take a
bath instead, but he decided a shower was quicker. He
quickly stripped down to his black boxers. He turned the
water open before completely undressing so it would be
warm when he stepped in the shower. Suddenly he walked
back to the kitchen. He decided to put on some coffee so
that would be ready by the time he came out of the
shower. Once he was back in the bathroom he dropped his
boxers and stepped in the shower. The water was quit
warm, just as he preferred it. He just stood there for a
few minutes enjoying the hot water running over his naked
body. Then he began to soap up, running his soap-covered
hand over his chest shoulders and arms. His mind drifted
away slowly as the warmth of the water worked its
relaxing effect. He thought about the movie...about josh
and his handsome features...about meeting him tonight. He
imagined it were Joshes hands instead of his own, slowly
rubbing his soft skin. He drifted away in his own
thoughts still slowly running his hands over his skin. It
took a while till he came back to reality. He noticed his
dick had become fully erect while he was fantasising
about Josh. He softly closed his hand around the base of
his hard cock. Gently he started stroking his hard organ.
While the warm water was still running over his body he
brought his other hand down and started massaging his
balls. Very slowly he moved his hands over his crotch,
gently stroking his pulsing cock while at the same time
rubbing a hand over his balls. The water immediately
washed away the sweat appearing on his skin. His
breathing became heavier as he massaged the head of his
dick with his fingertips. He started to stroke his member
faster and harder while he played various shirtless and
underwear scenes from josh's movies in his head. He let
out a moan while he came, his hands still working his
crotch. Five shots of his white juice shot in the air,
landing on his chest and stomach. He washed himself
clean and got out of the shower. He dried himself and
walked to the bedroom, his half-erect cock dangling
between his legs.

Once he was fully dressed he went back to the kitchen,
poured himself some coffee and walked to the sofa. With a
sigh he fell into the couch. He turned on the TV and
watched it for a while. The rest of the afternoon he
spent watching the episode of RAW he had taped last night
and by reading the script again. Again he became uneasy
when he thought about the nude scenes. After he got
totally turned on in the shower, just by thinking about
Josh he was worried what might happen when they both were
naked. He decided to ban the thought from his head since
there was nothing he could do about it right now. He
watched Shawn Michaels beat the hell out of some mid-
carder for a while. When the show was over he looked at
the clock was almost 7.30 pm. "I better get ready cause
he'll be here soon." Paul thought. He changed into an
outfit he thought he looked better in, made sure there
was no mess in the apartment. After that he went out on
the terrace for a quick smoke before Josh arrived. As he
walked back into his apartment the doorbell rang...
