Ramsay Street Boys - Chapter 2

School was pretty uneventful for both boys, who went to the same junior
school, although were in different classes. Dan had picked them up on his
way home, taking them over to collect Lucas from the garage, as Toadie and
Libby were helping out Steph with moving into her new house.

The four of them then headed over to Charlie's for dinner because Dan

They all returned home, to find a note from Libby on the table saying that
she and Toadie would be late helping Steph, something about it taking a
long time to unpack all the boxes with Lynn around. Dan had some marking to
do for his lesson's the next day so set himself up on the table in the
front room, Lucas having headed out again. Callum and Ben were sat on the
couch watching a Spiderman cartoon, dead to the world beyond the TV.

"Hey boys, why don't you go and get a bath started and get ready for
bed. You can stay up for a bit once you're done and watch some TV, if you
manage not to argue for once, OK?" Dan had gotten up from his marking,

bath so by the time I get to go in it will be finished, can we do it later,

in bed for an early night after the arguments this morning, so go and get

"You can get in the bath with me if you want so we can both see the zombie
thing, I don't mind" Ben piped up, the chance of getting to see Callum

reminded Ben, as always mindful of other peoples feelings as he was not
only a teacher, but the school counsellor.

Callum replied, getting up to rush to the bathroom, not wanting to take any

program to come on for ages. "I'll start the bath" he called out over his

usually meant they were up to something, but he decided to let it go for

"Ok, well go and help Callum sort out the bath. And don't stay in there too
long or you'll end up looking like a prune!" Dan replied, ushering Ben out
the front room entrance, returning back to the table to continue his
marking. He was relieved that the boys seemed to be getting along for once.

Ben walked into the bathroom, surprised to see that Callum was already
getting into the bath even though it was still running. He really was in a
hurry Ben thought to himself. "Come on Ben, we only have like 20 minutes
before it starts so we gotta hurry, get in!" Callum urged.

"Ok, I'm going as fast as I can" Ben exclaimed, trying to take his clothes

bed, you deal with Dan" Toadie said, gestured to the snoring Dan.

"Yeah, I think I had better!" with that Libby went over to Dan, waking him
up, as Toadie carried Ben and them Callum into their room, not having any
idea what new things the boys had discovered in the bath together that
night!
