Subject: Return of the King chapter 03

Once outside the office doors Ar'Ron reached for a pouch hanging off his
belt giving it to Dobby "Dobby this is like the enchanted money pouches
that Gringotts gives to their wealthier clients. To key it for your use,
hold your finger on the royal crest until it stops glowing. You will feel a
prick of your finger while it accepts your magical signature; this pouch is
linked to the household vault under the Impare' wing of the Palace."

Turning around looking at the other two he said "you know we really need to
come up with a new name for the palace, calling it Natures Palace all the
time is just a little pretentious."

"Dobby why don't you go and buy everything to stock the kitchen with food
and such, make sure that the kitchen could feed at a moments notice a
hundred people with the only thing needing to be picked up is meat. I keyed
you into the security runes on the wardrobe so you can just pop in and out,
so you don't have to keep coming to us to put away supplies." Seeing Dobby
understood the explanation Ar'Ron continued and handed a rolled up
parchment to Dobby "After you have finished shopping and have put
everything away I would like you to go find us at least four more house
elves, this scroll contains an authorization to buy in case the nasty
little slavers give you any problems. Make sure they are as young as you
can find them and still be fully trained. The skills we need to cover are
Gardening, Herbology, Farming, and care of magical creatures; if you can
find young couples with these skills all the better."

Dobby stood up a little straighter, like a soldier at attention "Dobby
knows just where Wizards go to get house elf's." He said snapping his
fingers and popping away.

As they followed the little goblin towards the mine cart Ar'Ron explained
that the reason he wanted young house elves was, that more than likely they
would not have ever had a true master which would make it easier for the
house elf to make the transition to Impare'.

After a fast paced roller coaster ride down the tunnels they finally ended
up near the bottom at vault number five. After the cart came to a complete
stop the young goblin turned to Harry "Mr. Potter only one of the Potter
bloodline may step onto this platform, your companions must wait here until
you open the vault, after the doors are opened you may invite the others
in."

Stepping out of the cart onto the platform Harry walked over to the vault
door stopping in front of the potter crest of a dragon with its front arm
holding down a griffin. Looking over his shoulder towards the goblin in the
cart "O. K Now what?"

"Look for a small oval depression. It should be under the family
crest. Once you find it place the hand with your family ring flat over top
of it. Seeing as this is your first visit the vault will have to taste your
magic. After this just walking up to the doors will cause them to open"
said the little goblin.

Turning completely around a wide eyed Harry yelled out "What do you mean
TASTE?"

"Let me assure you Mr. Potter it will be only as unpleasant as the feeling
one gets from being licked by a pet" Assured the goblin.

Turning back around Harry could be heard to mumble, "Bloody hell doors that
lick, what next."

Placing his hand in the oval, Harry felt a brief sensation and then the
massive doors could be heard to creak and grind as many gears were moving
and bolts were being withdrawn. With a final clunk and a hiss the massive
doors opened. Stepping back to allow the air to clear Harry looked over his
shoulder and motioned for the others to follow him. He then entered the
vault and found a trunk in front of him with a letter on top. Opening the
letter he began to read its contents.

Ar'Ron and Remus walked into the vault to find Harry on his knees in front
of a dusty trunk crying reading what appeared to be a letter.

Concerned Ar'Ron knelt down and gathered the young man in his arms
"Mel'Anin, what has happened?"

Looking up and handing Remus the letter "He has hurt so many people with
his lies and manipulations. There is no difference between him and
Voldemort." Harry spat out with venom.

Remus not sure what Harry was talking about started to read the letter.

My Dearest Son,

Harry if you are reading this your father and I did not survive, and for
that we are sorry; please forgive us for leaving you to grow up
alone. After you were born the headmaster of Hogwarts school came to us
with news that Voldermort, an evil wizard, had heard part of a prophecy
that involved us and revolved around you and had put the full resources of
his dark army to capture or kill you. Albus Dumbledore came to us with a
plan to hide us using the Fidelius charm. When pressed he would only tell
us the part of the prophecy overheard by one of Voldermort's
followers. Your father and I came up with a plan that would not only hide
and keep us safe but would keep you out of the hands of manipulating
bastard headmaster.

Know that I write this, as your father is downstairs trying to break the
wards that imprison us here at our summer estate in Godric's Hollow. The
plan was a simple one we would go under the Fidelius Charm in Godric's
Hollow then silently in the middle of the night relocate to Potter
Castle. Sirius was to be our secret keeper with a delayed memory charm that
would be broken only in the event of Voldermort's demise or he completely
escaped from death eaters after being questioned of our whereabouts.

At the last minute Dumbledore showed up with Peter Pettigrew and convinced
Sirius to make the switch to Peter as secret keeper. Your father put up
only token protests as we had planned to disappear that night after
everyone left.

After performing the charm Sirius and Peter left. Shortly after that
Dumbledore left assuring us that we did the right thing. When Dumbledore
left unbeknown to us he cast many charms and wards effectively sealing us
into the house.

If you are reading this when on your eleventh birthday this trunk in front
of you will be of great benefit to you, this is a Wizarding trunk specially
made for you to be able to hide in plain sight. No magic can be detected
from the outside, use this to get passed that stupid underage magic
decree. Also inside you will find one of the most specialized libraries we
could put together to help you train to protect yourself.

One last thing before Blinky our devoted house elf and friend takes this to
Gringotts. Find and put on the Potter Family Ring and never take it off,
this makes you one of the twelve lords of the greater council and will
further protect you from the ministry. In fact the council of twelve rules
the Wizarding world, but the charter requires at least five members to be
present at all times or the selected prime minister will rule in their
stead. Go to the goblins and have them perform the inheritance ritual on
you. There are two more of the greater families you are entitled too. You
are a lord three times, so will have great power in the Council. Use it
wisely my son.

I must finish this, as your father needs my help breaking the wards. Our
hope was to break free before All Hollows Eve has past.

p.s. One secret you must keep above all else, is the fact I was not a
muggle born like everyone thought. I was adopted by the Evans Family when
found wandering the forest as a toddler. This might be shocking but inside
the library is my diaries, find them and read them they will explain your
heritage and what to expect.

Your Loving Mother
Lily Potter

Remus was livid; controlling the wolf was almost impossible as he let out a
low-pitched growl of pain.

Ar'Ron gently took the letter from Remus's hand and quickly read the
contents. Then gently folding the letter and placing it back in the
envelope he reached down and gently pulled Harry into a standing
position. "Mel'Anin we will deal with Dumbledore later. Right now how about
we look around and we will move anything that catches your fancy into your
rooms in the palace. We can start with the trunk your parents left you."
With that he walked into the center of the vault past the piles of gold and
gems, removed the wardrobe from his pocket and un-shrunk and opened it up,
placing the trunk from Harry's parents inside in the hall.

Walking into Gringotts for the umpteenth time Albus Dumbledore decided it
was time to put the fear of the Wizengamot into the little beasts. It was
well past time they learned their place in the scheme of things. Goblins
like other races were meant to serve their betters. No more red tape, no
more run around, the will of Sirius Black would be sealed and Harry would
remain ignorant of the fact he was named in the will, just like he remained
ignorant of his parents will and family vaults. Walking up to an unoccupied
goblin "I need to be taken to see Glathrock. I have business with him." As
the goblin eyed him with distrust, Dumbledore's temper rose to new
heights. The filthy little beast should be jumping to cater to his every
whim, not sitting their eyeing him up stupidly.

"GRISHROCK," yelled out the seated goblin. When the goblin page was next to
his desk he gave him his instructions "Take this wizard to the waiting area
outside the Black Family manager's office. Then go tell Glathrock the
headmaster wishes to talk to him."

Grishrock looked at the headmaster with a scowl on his face "Follow me"

Dumbledore followed the little goblin down a hallway off the right side of
the lobby. He was slightly confused as all previous dealings with Glathrock
took place in his office, which was off the left side of the lobby. After a
five-minute walk down twisting and turning hallways he found himself
outside an ornate door inscribed with family manager at the top and a
listing of five names underneath; Potter, Black, Ridgestone, Rothland and
finally Donaldson.

Good thing he was a master at Occlumency or he would have given away his
shock at seeing the names of five of the council of twelve's names on the
door in front of him. In his long memory he had not seen those names
grouped together. In fact, he thought that three of the lords named were
lost to time in dead bloodlines. Seeing them together like this gave him a
very uneasy feeling.

"Wait Here" said Grishrock as he walked through the door into the inner
office.

Dumbledore in a huff was about to barge his way in instead of waiting to be
summoned like some commoner, when he took notice for the first time twelve
of the fiercest guards he had ever seen standing around the room, all eyes
watching him.

At that moment the office door opened and out walked a goblin in a royal
purple pants and tunic with the potter crest on the breast. "What business
do you have with me Wizard?"

Thinking this is the goblin that he hired fifteen years ago to oversee and
hide Harry's family finances from him. "Look here Grindlehorn you need to
help me get control of the goblin in charge of Sirius Blacks estate. We
have to keep the will reading from happening. Above all we need to keep
Harry Potter from getting access to any of his vaults but his trust fund
one. In fact I think that the monthly limit needs to be cut by half. Only
allow him to take out five hundred galleons a month." Dumbledore said
thoughtfully.

"Headmaster what you are attempting do is against goblin and wizard law"
Glathrock started to say.

Furious that the goblin was not even coming close to obeying his orders he
interrupted him "Listen here I am the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot. You
will do as I say or you will find yourself dead. Do I make myself clear?"

"You have misunderstood Wizard. My name is Glathrock I am the Black Family
Manager. Grindlehorn is currently being executed for breaking goblin law;
though after having his magic stripped from him, I do hope the torturers
take that in account so he does not die to fast."

Horrified at what he just heard and the blunder he made assuming that this
was his goblin. Dumbledore was thinking frantically on how to exit this
situation when his thoughts were interrupted.

"The Last Will and Testament of Sirius Black has been executed. Make no
mistake your interference has come to an end. I also have a message to pass
on to you from the board of governors in the event you tried to once again
interfere in matters you have no right to. You have fourteen days to clear
out your vaults, be they personal or family at the end of that time period
any assets left will be seized. After those fourteen days you will be
killed if you step foot in any Gringotts branch again." Glathrock sneered
at the wizard. Thoroughly enjoying himself he added in Gobbledegook to the
guards. "Throw him out of here and notice I did NOT say be gentle about
it."

Ar'Ron looked around the vault one last time before nodding his head and
walking over and shrinking the wardrobe; "Harry do you need a few more
moments before we go upstairs?"

Harry nodded his head and walked over to where they had found a second
Black family tapestry; standing in front of it looking down at the name of
his godfather Sirius Black done in silver thread with a gold line leading
to his name underneath Sirius's. Reaching forward to touch the threads that
spelled out his godfather, a new resolve came over him "Sirius I miss you
so much. I will make him pay for what he has done to the two of us. I am
now in fact the ruler of the council of twelve. I promise you I will do
everything in my power to make the world a better place, even if I have to
drag the rest of them kicking and screaming. Voldermort will also pay, that
I promise you."

Walking over to where the others were waiting he turned as he heard the
vault door close behind him. With a new determination in his voice,
"Goodbye Sirius, I will always carry a piece of you here in my heart."
Climbing into the cart he and others spent the ride in silence.

After reaching the surface the little goblin lead them back to the office
area and down the hallway to the new office for all Harry's account
managers. Entering the new waiting room the noticed the ornate door with
the list of all of Harry's Lordships on it. Entering the room the three of
them looked around in satisfaction, in the center of the room was a long
conference table with the communication box on the table against the wall
at the far end.; six desks all-looking into the center towards the table.

"Nice, very nice, I think this will do." Remus said thoughtfully, unaware
he said it out loud.

Ar'Ron nudged Harry to take the high backed seat at the head of the
table. He sat down to the left of Harry and Remus sat on the right, as the
other goblins then sat around the rest of the table "Gentlemen you have
exceeded my expectations with this office."

Griphook bowed from his seat "Thank you majesty, Lord Potter. We hoped you
would be pleased."

"Please call me Harry, just Harry. We are all equals here;" said the
uncomfortable Harry Potter as he fidgeted in his chair.

The goblins looked at each other and then back at Harry, with Glathrock
speaking up "Lor... Harry it is not proper for us to call you by name
alone." Raising his hand when he saw Harry open his mouth to reply, "but
here in this room when it is just us, we agree to do as you ask."

"Harry we need to inform you that while down in your vaults the headmaster
paid us a visit. Not only that, he mistook Glathrock for Grindlehorn who
was the Potter Family manager that he put in place. He admitted to many
wrongdoings against you and breaking the law both wizard and goblin. As
such he has been given fourteen days to empty his vaults and never step
foot in any branch again." Griphook explained.

Glathrock took over the explanation "Harry luckily I had the foresight to
have the whole encounter recorded into a memory stone, which can be used
how you see fit. Also he has discovered that the late Mr. Blacks will has
been read and he noticed the potter family crest."

"Unfortunate, but not your fault" Ar'Ron spoke up "We had an interesting
conversation down in the vaults that resulted in a plan of action that we
will share with you in a moment. But first were you able to find anything
acceptable in your search?"

"Yes Sir. Out of the slightly over one hundred properties Harry owns,
Thirty are rented out, another forty are occupied by families that have
long allied themselves to the Lord in question, fourteen are vacation
properties that also bring in income by short term rentals, there are
twenty or so properties so damaged that it would be better to sell off the
land or rebuild than fix and twenty six are Potter family properties that
Albus Dumbledore sealed. In the process he left ten allied families
homeless and in most cases any and all house elves or other creatures that
were inside at the time came to a very painful slow death, including the
youngest child of the Thronbrook family." Glathrock reported.

Harry and company were shocked and horrified to learn how Dumbledore
treated his allies. Anger caused his magic to well up and it came off him
in waves startling the goblins at the other end of the table.

Reaching over and placing his hand on Harry's shoulder, Ar'Ron whispered
"Mel'Anin calm down. We will deal with him harshly if need be, but you are
scaring the goblins."

Harry fought to control his anger, taking several deep breaths he was able
to calm down enough for his magic to once again be under his full
control. Looking down at the tabletop his body still stiff from anger "I
want all those properties unsealed. I don't care what it takes. The
families who allied with me are to be allowed back into the homes they once
occupied, with a full explanation that and apologies of what was done
without my knowledge. Answer their questions as fully as you can."

Looking up from the table with tears in his eyes "The Thronbrook family, I
want to meet with them myself and a proper funeral planned for the child, I
plan to attend. All of my families' allies shall be reimbursed for any
costs they incurred during this time."

"It shall be done as you wish Harry." Griphook said softly.

Continuing in a louder voice, "Harry, looking through all those properties,
we found one that meets your needs. Potter Castle located just outside
Hogsmead."

Traxog the Goblin in charge of the Ridgestone accounts spoke up for the
first time "Harry the Potter Castle is the hereditary seat from which
countless generations of Potters ruled their lands. You can be very proud
that in the five thousand year record of your ancestors there has never
been an evil ruler. There have been several that were considered tyrants,
but that is because of the forceful changes to the status quo of the
times."

Griphook picked up the explanation "The castle has been unoccupied for
roughly five hundred years. The castle has the most unheard of wards
surrounding it. Not only are there the defensive wards, which are stronger
than that of Hogwarts by several classes, but also the castle has the only
known offensive wards in existence," passing over a folder and key to
Harry.

Ar'Ron with a chuckle said "Offensive wards, sounds like there was another
elf that married into the Potter line besides your mother," which caused
Harry to turn red from embarrassment.

"Sounds like that is the best place to move to then" Remus looked up from
the files he was going through. "Knowing what Sirius's mom was like, are
there any properties that are occupied by allies of the black family? And
if so are any of them known death eaters or sympathizers?"

Glathrock hopped off the chair and went over to his desk and picked up the
ledger and returned to the table. "Yes there seems to be two such
properties."

"One is occupied by the Lestranges after the marriage of Bellatrix Black to
Rodolphus Lestrange. And the other is Malfoy Manor, which came into the
black family possession as part of the marriage contract of Narcissa
Black." Skimming through pages in the ledger "One of the interesting things
is that Lucius Malfoy has violated the terms of the marriage contract, in
fact as Lord Black you can dissolve the marriage and take possession of the
manor and heir, if that is your wish."

"Take possession of the residence the Lestranges occupy, in fact place it
under something like the Fidelius if need be, but I want them out of the
house by days end, and unable to gain access again." Harry said through
clenched teeth.

"And as much as I would like to teach the Malfoy's a lesson. I am going to
give Narcissa a chance. Contact her by owl and tell her Lord Black is
considering dissolving her marriage contract. Find out if she is a death
eater or not, if not she should have some say in what is about to happen to
her life. Since Lucius is in prison I guess that makes Draco the head of
the Malfoy family, unless of course he buys his daddy out of prison again."
Harry mused out loud.

"Harry, if as lord of the Black Family were to say stop the monthly
allowances from the estate, I am sure that they would not be able to buy
Mr. Malfoy out of his problems this time" commented Glathrock with a sly
smile on his face, which could be quite frightening with all those sharp
pointed teeth showing.

"Do so. And if you would send Narcissa an owl by the end of the day
requesting a meeting with you about her future, it would be
appreciated. Let me know her decision if you would." Harry responded

Glathrock jotted down some notes on the parchment in front of him "If I
may, if we address the letter to Narcissa Black, it would have more of an
impact on her." Seeing Harry nod his head he continued writing.

Looking over to Ar'Ron for support Harry said, "I understand that all of
you are contracted to be paid five percent of everything earned, and I have
no problems with that. What I would like to do is have you all cooperate in
extending my financial holdings. As a bonus if you will, at the end of the
year if you can increase the earnings of my investments above what they
normally are for a year, you will share between the five of you twenty
percent as a thank you."

Seeing the looks of utter shock turn to glee with the thoughts of how rich
they could be Ar'Ron clarified "So if all of Harry's accounts earn him say
ten million galleons a year return on his investments. And say this year
you help it grow to anything over that, let's say fifteen million for
example, beside the normal fee of five percent; the five of you would split
twenty percent of the five million. It could be more or less depending on
how hard the five of you work."

As Harry and the others pushed back their chairs and got to their feet,
Harry looked at Griphook and said "I want to have controlling interest in
the Daily Prophet by the end of the week. And total ownership as soon as
possible. I will no longer let them vilify me in print."

Seeing Griphook nod his understanding Harry and company walked over to the
door to exit.

Ar'Ron turned as he was closing the door "If you need either of us use the
communication box, or if it is that important that you need to see us in
person come directly to the castle. The five of your will be keyed into the
recognition wards."

Once out of the office they came face to face to Ledgethorn. "Majesty, Lord
Potter, The Goblin Nation stays neutral in any conflict involving Wizarding
kind. Last time we stayed out of the conflict; but the so-called Lord
Voldermort has sent envoys trying to enlist our help during this war. I
have just come from a meeting where it was decided that instead of being
neutral this time around, The Goblin Nation wishes to ally itself to you,
as we see it our best chance of gaining equality is with you Lord Potter."

Flabbergasted Harry stood there not sure what to say. Thinking quickly he
said "Thank you, I will do my best to see that the law sees you as equals
and have the same choices as anyone else. It is the least I can do for your
support."

"These twelve goblins are at your disposal for the rest of the day. They
will help carry anything you need help with and they will ensure that the
rest of your shopping goes smoothly." Ledgethorn stated waving his hand at
the group of goblins standing around the waiting area.

"You don't have to this." Harry began.

"I know, we want to do this, in fact these goblins volunteered for this
duty, they see no shame in carrying it out." Ledgethorn explained

Feeling a little bit uncomfortable, knowing that these goblins were there
more as guards then extra hands to carry packages. Harry looked over at
Remus and Ar'Ron and seeing their smiles of encouragement he said thank you
and left it at that.

"Remus why don't you go on ahead to Grimmauld Place and pack up your
belongings, and while there go ahead and pack up the Black Family library
and anything else that you think we should have control of." Ar'Ron
suggested, "Maybe some of these fine strong gentlemen would assist you."

Six of the goblins stepped forward and one of them said, "Sir, two of us
are curse breakers and we would be more than happy to help you find any
hidden items or areas."

"That leaves Eyelop's and Ollivander's to us. And we should be able to find
Harry here a watch before meeting back up to you at The Leaky Cauldron for
a late lunch in about an hour's time." Seeing the nod of agreement from
Remus Ar'Ron Turned to Ledgethorn and added "I will come by at the end of
Sunday of next week and place some Elven wards around the bank to
strengthen security here."

As they walked out into the lobby of Gringotts, Remus stopped "Um, I think
I see one slight problem with this plan. The house is under the Fidelius
Charm, how are all of us going to get in?"

Ar'Ron stopped, turned towards Remus "That is a very good question. The
short answer is that since you are the owner of said house you can tell
anyone its location. Not what it's used for, and they will have no problem
gaining access."

Remus walked closer to the group of goblins going with him and said quietly
"Remus is living at Twelve Grimmauld Place, think that as you approach the
door and you can see to enter."

Splitting up, Remus and the goblins going with him apparated out; while
Harry and Ar'Ron walked down the steps of Gringotts and into Diagon Ally.

"Where to first Harry" Ar'Ron said as he looked around the street with
fascination, noticing the wary looks they were getting.

Looking around Harry noticed a jewelry store off to the left a few shops
down, "How about a watch." with a grin he pointed to a shop just a few
steps away.

A tinkling of a bell could be heard throughout the shop as Harry opened the
door and walked in. Followed soon there after by Ar'Ron and four of the
goblins, the other two taking up posts outside the shop.

Putting down the polishing cloth, and turning to face the counter, "Hello
My name is Rolph Knightengale. How may I help ...." Seeing the goblins he
was not sure what to do and just froze not moving.

Harry turned to look in the direction that the shop owner was staring; all
he saw was one of the goblins smiling. Twisting around to look behind the
goblin he did not see anything hiding. Turning back he waved his hand in
front of Mr. Knightengale's face, still nothing.

Turning back to the goblin trying to hold back his laughter, "You broke
him." with a pouting look on his face.

At that comment no one could hold back their laughter. And the sight of
four goblins laughing was quite unsettling.

At the laughter the shopkeeper awoke from his stupor "Wha... Huh."

Turning quickly to face the shopkeeper Harry said "Oh Good your back. I am
looking for a watch."

Still somewhat out of it Mr. Knightengale walked over to the counter on the
far side of the room and pulled a display tray out of the case. "I have all
types, this one when you push the button has a sundial pop up. This one is
one of my favorites, when you push on the dial and a stellar representation
tells you the time."

Looking at the planets floating above the watch face, trying to figure out
how that gave the time Harry said, "Don't you have any that just tell the
time, you know you look at the face and see numbers."

"How un-original, I don't think I have anything so mundane asked for
before. No I don't think I have anything that would be worth selling to the
likes of you." He sneered pointing his nose in the air.

Ar'Ron was starting to get ticked off with the attitude from this
shopkeeper. "Mel'Anin we can always go into muggle London and visit one of
the upper end Jewelers and we can do the enchanting work ourselves, in fact
I think it would go quite well with your summer lessons."

Seeing the agreement from Harry, they all left the shop and gathered in the
street. Leaning over to one of his fellow goblins Dargoth snorted just loud
enough to be heard, "I think I liked him better when he was broken."

Ar'Ron snorted in amusement also, then looking over at the group of goblins
with a thoughtful expression on his face "Harry how about seeing if one of
the goblin craftsmen can make you a watch? I think you will find that next
to the dwarves, goblins are some of the finest craftsmen around."

"I never gave it a thought before, but it would make sense, I never have
seen a shop run by goblins in Diagon Ally, but there has to be some
somewhere or where else would goblins shop." Harry answered.

Dargoth interrupted by saying "Sir, if you want, next time you come to
Gringotts I would be happy to escort you to our merchant area and one of
our jewel smiths just ask for Dargoth."

Thinking of the unique experience it would be, and how much Hermoine would
be jealous when she found out Harry thanked the goblin "I think I will take
you up on your offer when Ar'Ron comes at the end of next week to reinforce
the wards."

A series of loud pops and screams of terror was heard throughout the
ally. Looking around quickly Ar'Ron noticed several groups of black robed
figures, their faces covered in white masks. He heard Harry whisper Death
Eaters.

Reaching down to his belt Ar'Ron released several of the clipped pouches,
then asking the goblins "Which of you are the strongest in magic?" After
two of the goblins stepped forward "Ok, to use the runic blocks you need to
channel your magic into them until they glow brightly. Red are prison
bubbles, throw those only at death eaters. The blue ones are defensive
bubbles, throw those at innocent victims to protect them."

During the explanation Harry took out one of the shield wall blocks and
holding it in his hand he imagined it was his wand and felt for his magic
and pushed it towards his hand. Seeing the block start to glow he pushed
harder until it glowed bright blue. Feeling elated that he was
successful. He turned towards Gringotts and threw the block as hard as he
could at the doors. As soon as it hit the doors the spell activated sending
a shield wall between the doorframes, protecting those inside.

Grabbing one of the stun blocks from his belt case he turned back towards
where the death eaters had appeared, and he saw the fight was over before
it had begun. There were four shimmering red domes encasing death eaters. A
couple of blue domes here and there encased families with young children
keeping them safe. As Harry walked closer to where Ar'Ron was standing he
noticed his eyes had gone completely emerald green, no whites showing at
all and they were glowing, radiating power.

He overheard the death eaters in the dome in front of Ar'Ron say killing
curse on three and Ar'Ron's response "I would not do that if I were you"

He then watched as the green of the killing curse rebounded, bouncing off
the walls of the dome till the curses ended up killing each of the death
eaters by their own curses.

Looking around he saw death eaters on the ground injured by their own
curses. Chuckling Harry said, "I think I like this type of battle. The only
ones to get hurt were the death eaters."

Smiling Ar'Ron walked over to Harry and pulled him in a brief
hug. Releasing him and motioning the goblins over he said "Job well done. I
think it might be time to release those folks under the protective
domes. The caster or creator is the only one who can release the spell so
walk over and place you hand gently on the energy field and channel a surge
of magic through your hand and the dome will collapse."

After everyone was released except for the death eaters, the goblins
noticed that Harry was at the landing in front of the doors to the bank,
and for the first time noticed the blue glow surrounding the doors. Looking
at each other one of their number spoke up "I will go tell governor
Ledgethorn what took place and meet back up with you at Ollivander's."

As Harry walked down the steps of Gringotts he felt a cold chill down his
spine. Thinking it might be the after affects of the short battle he
thought nothing of it. When the chill did not go away and he became cold
and uneasy he started to look around at the sky when he noticed "DEMENTORS"
Harry yelled as he ran to the group.

Ar'Ron stopped and looked at the direction from which Harry was running he
saw the black specks rapidly approaching in the sky. Never before having
met Dementors, but thinking back to Harry's memories he grew enraged.

It was like a small green cyclone was surrounding Ar'Ron and wind was
whipping through his hair. Thrusting his right arm up in the air a long
black Battle stave appeared in his hand. Pointing it towards the oncoming
Dementors he started to swirl in a clockwise circular motion. As he started
to incant in Elvish a bright hot white light appeared and left his stave in
a vortex pattern the vortex growing wider as the distance from the stave
grew.

The Dementors stopped fearful of this un-known spell being cast their
way. They started to retreat when they found they were being pulled further
into the vortex.

Screams of fear and pain could be heard from the Dementors, as they were
sucked into the vortex. As they got closer to the beginning, the vortex got
smaller till each of them touched the spiraling light. Upon touching the
light each Dementor would scream in bone shattering pain and drop to the
street below twitching and dying.

After the last Dementor fell to the street Ar'Ron turned to Harry with
concern in his eyes "Mel'Anin are you all right, you are not hurt are you?"

The voices of his parents starting to disappear Harry replied "I am fine."
Seeing the look of disbelief on Ar'Ron's face Harry said, " I will be fine
in a few minutes. Dementors and I don't mix to well."

Dargoth walked over to Harry and extended a chunk of chocolate "My Lord I
think this will help."

"Thank you Dargoth." Harry smiled at the goblin.

Biting into the chocolate, Harry was saddened to think their shopping was
over. He was very surprised when he heard Ar'Ron say "Well come on we still
have a lot of shopping to do before meeting Remus at the Leaky Cauldron for
lunch."

As they crossed the street two of the goblins approached Ar'Ron with the
belt pouches that he had given them to use. "Majesty, Here are the rest of
the spell cubes you gave us to use" the goblin stated as he extended the
pouches out to be taken back.

"Why don't you keep hold of them for now, just in case they are needed
later on." Ar'Ron said as he reached Ollivander's and opened the door to
the tinkling of a bell overhead.

Hearing the bell to the front door jingle, Ollivander poked his head out
the door of his workshop to see who had come in. What he saw was curious
indeed. Three goblins and a couple of wizards, looking harder he noticed
one of the wizards had glamour around his body, pulling his wand out and a
couple of strong 'Revelo's' later he noticed curved pointed ears, so that
means the one is not a wizard but an elf, one of the high ones, yet the
glamour felt stronger than high Elven magic. Eyes widening, but that would
mean he was one of the True Elves the first magical race known, the ones
who gave magic to the infant races. A little more nervous at the thought of
one of the true ones in his humble shop he glanced at the second
figure. Noticing the Potter Ring on his hand his eyes snapped up to the
forehead looking for the telltale scar.

Cautiously he walked through the stacks towards the front counter, being
careful not to startle the group. "Lord Potter, what may I do for you
today? Your wand does not need any work does it? Or maybe you need some
wand polish perhaps?"

With a questioning look at Ar'Ron than back to the old man Harry
asked. "Mr. Ollivander how did you know I was a Lord?"

Ollivander tilted his head sideways "A curious thing really. I looked out
the door when I heard the bell jingle and to my amazement I watched as
three goblins came into the shop and then following in two people I assumed
at first were wizards. Very curious indeed as I knew that goblins would
have no need of my service, but to find goblins in the company of wizards
was just too fantastic to contemplate."

"Then I used my magic to get a good look at your friend here Lord Potter
and to my amazement I saw the glowing of a very strong glamour at work
disguising his features. I was able to see enough to find out the person I
was looking at was Elven, and not just any run of the mill Elf, Oh no the
amount of magic that swirls around him makes him one of the True Elves. And
to answer your Question Lord Potter I saw the Potter Family ring on your
finger, and unlike most I know who the families are that rule the council
of twelve." Ollivander Finished.

Ar'Ron stared at the little old man for a minute before deciding,
"Mr. Ollivander my name is Ar'Ron, I am Harry's Guardian and we have come
here in search of supplies as Harry's wand no longer works for him, it
seems after I removed the blocks on his magic a wand no longer matches
him."

"Hmm that explains so much" mused Ollivander.

"Excuse me, but that explains what?" asked Harry.

"Lord Potter, you only thought you were a difficult customer. Ah yes the
wand chooses the wizard Lord Potter. The brother wand to Voldermort that
you know possess, I daresay would not have chosen you five years ago. Oh no
I do think you would have given your mother a run, Did you know it took
over five hours to find a match for your mother, and then it was not a
perfect match at all, more of she could use it." Asked Ollivander

"No I did not, there's so much I do not know about my family, every time I
ask the subject gets changed, its so frustrating" exclaimed Harry.

"I have no doubt it is Dumbledore's doing, I bet. Well follow me all my
wand cores and woods are back in the workshop." Ollivander said as he led
the group into the back room.

Walking into the back room Ar'Ron noticed how neat and organized it
was. Pointing Harry over towards the section holding the wood "Harry I want
you to hold your right hand just above the wood pieces, you will feel a
warmth from any wood that is a match for your magic."

Not sure, but trusting in what he was told Harry went over to the cabinet
and started to feel the different woods. Disappointed he turned back
"Nothing felt right. Maybe I did it wrong."

"Ollivander, by chance might you have Fairy Oak or any of the other magical woods in your collection?" Asked Ar'Ron

"I am afraid not, the last time I got my hands on some Fairy Oak was about
two hundred and seventy five years ago and I have not been able to procure
any other magical woods since then" explained Ollivander.

"Hmm I think I have some pieces stashed away, Harry why don't you try the
cores while I go inside and get some Elven magical cores and magical wood."
Ar'Ron said taking out the wardrobe and walking over to a clear space next
to the wall and unshrinking it.

Opening the doors and walking inside towards the kitchen area and the steps
to the basement Ar'Ron soon disappeared from view.

Ollivander peaking inside the wardrobe fell back into his chair in shock at
the shear amount of magic inside and the very large Fairy Oak to one side.

While waiting for Ar'Ron to return Harry went through the wand cores
looking for matches. Surprisingly he found three cores that felt like a
good match. Pulling the jars down he turned to see Ar'Ron walk back into
the work room and close the doors of the wardrobe behind him.

Ar'Ron walked over to the workbench and opened up two cases. The first case
had wood pieces in and second small vials with magical cores for battle
staves.

Noticing that the wand maker was not looking over his shoulder in
anticipation at the new and to him un-known core material, he walked over
to stand in front of the chair the man was sitting in. Looking closely at
the man staring into space, he waved his hand in front of Ollivander's face
with no reaction.

Dargoth started to snicker quite loudly "You broke him, can I break the
next one, can I."

Sighing heavily to himself Ar'Ron decided to take it easy on the old man;
after all he did not want to kill him with to many shocks to his
system. Placing his hand on Ollivander's forehead he intoned "Wake Up."

Jumping slightly Ollivander turned back to the workbench. "Sorry there must
have went off there slightly. Oh are these the samples then?" he said in
awe.

"Harry did you find any cores over there that felt right?" Ar'Ron asked.

Harry picked the three jars he had pulled off the shelves and walked over
to the table and set the jars down. Curious he looked over at the cases
with the samples in them and when his hand passed over the case holding the
cores, one of the vials shot up the core breaking through the vial and
embedded itself in the palm of his hand.

Grabbing his wrist he shouted out "damn ... that hurts," hopping around
waving his hand trying to dislodge the feather.

And then the strangest thing happened, the feather melted into his hand and
the pain went away "Oookay what the bloody hell just happened?" Harry
practically screamed.

Holding the vial marked Archer Eagle Ar'Ron took Harry's hand and examined
it and noticed the small feather shaped design on the palm, sighing he said
"Well I will explain fully later on tonight, but for now, Elves can be an
animagus. Unlike wizards who cannot be a magical creature, Elves always
are. The way Elven kind becomes an animagus is by accepting a physical part
of the creature we transform into. So what happened here is that you just
accepted the physical portion of you animagus. Tomorrow I will show you how
to transform."

Harry was very excited to hear about becoming an animagus like his father
and Sirius. Walking warily back to the table "Ok do I do the same to theses
samples then?" Harry said as he pointed to the open boxes.

Ar'Ron almost laughed at Harry's eagerness and ability to roll with the
punches as it were. "Not exactly, what you need to do is to hold your hand
over the open box like you are gripping a stave and any component that is
compatible will come flying out of the box into your hand. But it should be
painless."

Placing his hand over the box like he was told, he was amazed to see three
shafts of wood and a band of silver metal shoot out of the box. The wood
spiraled around itself merging the three types together into a new
form. The metal then wrapped itself around the bottom and top of the now
five foot tall stave of spiraled green, red and beige.

Ollivander watched on in fascination. Then he asked what types of wood
combined into the stave.

Ar'Ron Looked down at the labels on the empty sections "Hmm Fairy Oak, can
channel great amounts of magic. Let's see Dragon Wood, affinity for Battle
magic. And lastly wood from Sea Forest Tree the best for defensive
work. And the metal was Mythril."

"Now all you need to do is add magical cores to the stave. Doing this is
similar to what you did with the runic spell cubes, find your magic and let
it flow into the stave as you hold it above the core material, the stave
then will take the proper amount needed to match your magic perfectly"
directed Ar'Ron.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly Harry closed his eyes and
felt for his magical core. Finding his core was easy as it seems that his
core has grown to encompass most of his body. Thinking back to how it felt
when he pushed his magic out of his hand, he felt his magic swell up and
start to flow over his hand and into the stave. Opening his eyes he noticed
the stave glowing in reds and greens and held it above the three jars from
Ollivander's shop. The core material started to flow upwards out of the
jars even though the lids were on tight. The amazing thing is that two
streams of core material from the Elven case joined the streams from the
jars.

Ollivander whispered in shock "Five cores, never in my life would I have
thought of a battle staff with more than three cores."

"Actually there are three more core elements to be added yet which can only
happen after he transforms into his animagus form" Ar'Ron said to the dazed
wand maker.

Finishing up the glow diminished until it was gone. Breaking the spell
Harry whispered out "Wow that was wicked," with a huge grin on his face.

Ar'Ron looked over Harry he said "Well all that is left is to inlay the
runes and bond the last three core ingredients and it will be finished."
Seeing the huge grin on Harry's face as he held his stave close to his
body; "Harry why don't you run your stave and these two cases up to the
second floor common room until later."

"Sounds like a good idea" Harry said grabbing up the two cases and opening
the wardrobe and running up the stairs.

Ar'Ron took a slender case out of his pocket and handed it over to
Ollivander. "Payment for the ingredients we used." Seeing the slight
confusion on the older mans face he continued, "There is enough Fairy Oak
in that case to craft four wands." Seeing the glee cross Ollivander's face.

Walking over and shrinking the wardrobe and placing it back in his pocket
Ar'Ron and the others started to walk out. "Have a good day Mr. Ollivander
and my thanks in helping Harry."

Sounds of apparition could be heard in the ally as Aurors and members of
the order of the phoenix as they responded to the alarms of death eater
activity.

Poised for battle, the Aurors were slightly confused to find red shimmering
domes covering groups of death eaters. Hearing the sounds of the wailing
screams they looked around pinpointing the location over by
Gringotts. There they found a pile of Dementor cloaks. Searching through
the cloaks Tonks came across one lone Dementor that was making all the
racket. As she watched the Dementor gave one last scream of pain and
collapsed, dead, and turned into dust as she watched..

Calling over for Kingsley and Dumbledore she said in growing panic. "What
in Merlin's name could kill a Dementor?" pointing at the ground and all the
empty cloaks.

"Calm down child. While I am not positive what magic did this, I am sure
the person responsible is no longer here." Albus said in his most
grandfatherly voice.

One of the Aurors walked up to Kingsley. "Excuse me sir, but we have a
small problem with collecting the death eaters. We can't get through the
domes to get to the death eaters to collect them. Jamison tried breaking
into one of the domes by using a reductor curse. The thing is it went
through the outer wall and started bouncing back and forth between the
inner walls of the dome till it hit one of the death eaters in the head,
which exploded" said the frantic Auror.

As the group turned to look towards the imprisoned death eaters, wondering
what in Merlin's name was going on, they were approached by Author Weasley
"Albus, Kingsley we've finished taking statements from all the
witness's. It seems that two wizards and a group of goblins are the ones
who captured the death eaters, with the taller wizard being the one who
killed the Dementors. After the fight they went into Ollivander's wand
shop. They must still be there as there are three Goblins stationed outside
the shop." Author finished the report by pointing over at the wand shop to
the group of three goblins standing guard.

At that moment the door to Ollivander's opened up and Ar'Ron, Harry and the
goblins exited the shop. Seeing the crowd and the Headmaster over by where
the Dementors met their end, Ar'Ron turned to block Harry from the gaze of
the headmaster "Mel'Anin why don't you go on ahead and get the owl treats
and then meet Remus in the leaky Cauldron. Make sure you get a private room
if Remus hasn't already."

Hesitating Harry said "Are you sure you are going to be ok?"

Reading between the lines, knowing Harry was more concerned with loosing
him and being caged up again Ar'Ron clasped Harry's shoulder and said
"Don't worry Mel'Anin just like the death eaters proved to be no challenge,
neither will they. Remember you are a Lord of the Council of Twelve they
are not allowed to touch you."

Ar'Ron watched as Harry walked down the street surrounded by the escort of
goblins. Turning back towards the group of wizards he noticed them
hurriedly walking over towards him.

Albus eyed up the stranger with some trepidation. The power rolling off him
was intense to those who could see aura's like he was able to. Deciding
not to anger the stranger, as anyone who could destroy over fifty Dementors
and take out all the death eaters in under five minutes according to
reports was not someone he wanted to antagonize.

"A moment of you time if you please, we have some questions that need
answered." There that should do it, not to demanding.

Bristling at the arrogance of the man Ar'Ron replied, "You can ask, but you
more than likely will not get the answers you are looking for."

"Follow me and bring your men to take charge of the death eaters as I
release the prison domes." Ar'Ron said turning walking towards the first of
the domes holding death eaters, not waiting to see if he was being followed
or not.

Placing his hand on the shimmering dome he channeled a little bit of his
magic into the dome and it collapsed. He heard the shocked voices of Aurors
that had attempted to touch the dome yell out for an explanation on how he
could touch the domes.

Looking over to where the young Auror was standing that asked the question
Ar'Ron replied "Since I created the spell, only I am able to touch the
magical field to disperse it." waving his hand at the downed death eaters
"You can take charge of these vermin. Know this; their condition is due to
their own spells."

Growing impatient Kingsley yelled out "Now stop right there, enough of this
nonsense, you will answer the headmasters questions or you will be sorry."

Eyes glowing green in anger, Ar'Ron growled out. "Your headmaster has yet
to ask me any questions."

Turning to face the man, Kingsley involuntarily took several steps back
when he saw the power glowing in the stranger's eyes.

Before the confrontation had a chance to escalate, it was interrupted by
shouts from Tonks down the street.

Tonks seeing someone she thought she recognized walked closer and noticed
the tell tail lightening bolt scar of the boy who lived she screamed "Harry
Potter what do you think you are doing. There are death eaters all
over. Do you think you can do as you please? You are not safe outside your
aunt and uncles house."

Harry stopped walking hearing his name yelled. Looking around he saw Tonks
running over all red and purple in the face looking quite mad "Hello Tonks
what are you doing here?"

As Albus was rushing towards Harry he felt a sharp pain from the stone in
his pocket that monitored the wards of Privet Drive. Becoming extremely
worried he yelled out to Tonks "Get Harry out of here. The wards have been
breached at Privet Drive. Get Harry to headquarters."

All hell was about to break lose.

Tonks tried to push the goblins out of the way to get to Harry, port key in
her hand.

Albus drew his wand as he ran towards Harry.

Fudge chose that moment to step out of the leaky cauldron with a squad of
Aurors and Amelia Bones.

A group of Goblin guards came rushing out of the bank, somehow alerted to
what was happening outside.

All converging on a very pissed off Harry Potter and Elven King.

Harry turned towards Tonks and yelled with venom "Stay back. I am not going
any where with you."

Minister Fudge seeing a way to consolidate his power added his voice by
yelling out "Harry Potter by the order of the minister of magic you are
under arrest. Get him" he ordered his guards.

Albus raised his voice above the rest "stun him if you have to, just get
him out of here," as he yelled at Fudge that he had no grounds to arrest
Harry.

Enraged Ar'Ron started to pulse with power. His hair whipped as if blown by
a strong wind revealing his curved pointed ears. Lightening danced across
his skin and he was floating about a foot off of the ground. To say he
looked scary was an understatement.

Using his magic to enhance his voice Ar'Ron's voice boomed out "ENOUGH"

Causing everyone to look towards him in fear.

Pointing his finger towards Fudge "you have no grounds or right to arrest
Harry."

Turning towards the stunned figure of Tonks he said, "and you have no right
to take Harry anywhere against his wishes or the wishes of his guardian."

Turning towards the headmaster in a cold furious voice he said, "You are
the headmaster of his school. You have no say in Harry's life when he is
not in school. You are not his Guardian. I am, and I am telling you now, TO
BACK OFF AND LEAVE HIM THE BLOODY HELL ALONE."

The waves of power coming off Ar'Ron were so intense that the wizards had
to step back several steps.

Albus frightened at the power display never the less tried to re-assert his
will on the scene "Now I do not know who you think you are, but as the
chief warlock of the Wizengamot I am telling you Harry Potter's guardians
are Vernon and Petunia Dursley." then catching the sight of the ears of the
stranger he realized he was an elf.

No longer floating Ar'Ron approached the headmaster and with quiet venom
said so no one could overhear "Headmaster do you really want to air your
dirty laundry here in public. Harry is no longer your pawn. The sooner you
accept you have no control over him the better off you will be. Leave now
and make no further attempts to run his life, if you ignore me I will have
you tried by an Elven court, as I assure you there is enough documentation
to find you guilty ten times over."

While Ar'Ron was reaming the headmaster, Dargoth tugged at Harry's elbow to
get his attention.

Harry looked down at the goblin and was told that the ledger in the goblins
hand contained the special parchment used by the Council of Twelve to issue
decrees and such. So if he wanted to arrest Fudge for say treason, which he
was assured the goblins would be able to substantiate, all he needed to do
was write it out and press his rings to the bottom of the page allowing the
magic to create the Lordship seals.

Taking the ledger and opening it up Harry picked up the self-inking quill
and wrote out a warrant for the arrest of one Cornelius Fudge, for high
treason and corruption in office and adding a line stating that further
charges would be forthcoming. He signed it and pressed the Potter ring
under his name causing a wax impression to appear on the
parchment. Thinking it was better to be safe than sorry he went ahead and
pressed the other rings to the parchment also.

Quickly writing on another piece of parchment and signing it with his rings
like the last one he walked over to where Fudge and Amelia Bones were
standing.

"Fudge this is the last time you try to push me around and drag my name
through the mud." Harry sneered at the soon to be ex-minister. Picking up
his hand so the rings upon his fingers were in sight he continued. "Your
days are over."

Seeing the look of recognition on Fudges face he addressed Madam
Bones. "Madam Bones the Council of Twelve once again has five members. As
such the Council is in charge of the Wizarding world as it should be."

Handing over the first parchment to Amelia, Harry explained "this is an
arrest warrant for one Cornelius Fudge."

In shock at the turn of events Amelia looked down at the parchment Harry
had handed her and was stunned to see five seals of the Lords of the
Council on the parchment. Seeing the runes around the edge of the parchment
validating it as genuine she turned to the personal bodyguards around Fudge
and said to the stunned assembled Aurors. "Arrest Fudge for treason and
corruption and a host of other charges. This is a valid Council order."

Seeing Remus standing in the doorway of the Leaky Cauldron, Harry handed
the other parchment over to madam Bones and said "By order of the Council
of Twelve. Any laws or Decrees enacted since the last Council meeting are
herby Null and Void."

Looking Amelia in the eyes Harry told her "Madam Bones I have untied your
hands. Get the Auror corps ready for war. Now if you will excuse me I am
late for my luncheon meeting."

With that Harry walked past her and went into the Leaky Cauldron with
Remus.

Seeing Harry walk into the Leaky Cauldron with Remus, Ar'Ron turned away
from Albus nodded his thanks to the goblins and followed the others for
lunch leaving a stunned crowd behind. .
