Subject: SKY HIGH: THE PEACE STRONGHOLD 2

"I can't,"  Will said to himself in the hallway between classes as the
bell rang. "I can't hold out."   As the various students passed him by,
including those in both curriculums, the Sidekicks and Heroes, he was
absent mindedly talking to himself. Yeah, he kissed Layla at the formal.
Yeah, he loved her. But somehow...kissing her was like kissing a dead
fish. "Not that she was...is a dead fish..."

"Who's a dead fish?"   Layla said as she rounded a corner and came face
to face with him.

"Uh, no one ! Not you! Not my friend Layla..."   Will stammered, "I was
just saying..."

"To yourself?"

"To myself, no one else. No one's  a dead fish!"  Will went wide eyed and
began to babble.  As he spoke a boy who was all full of scales and blue
walked by and he was only partly visible. "Except maybe Scales there, he
can turn into a fish any time of the day, dead, I'm I mean day or night,
dead of night, that whole thing..."

Layla came closer to him as if to kiss him, "Will, there's...something
you are not telling me..."

"Uh, no,"  Will said, "But I have to go...we are both gonna be late for
our classes..."

"Did you hear? After the formal..."  She said as she walked with him,
"Principal Powers is going to address the whole school board and the
adminstration big wigs about co-mixing the curriculum...there won't be
any sidekick or heroes classes...it'll all be one..."

"Great!"  Will said as he saw the Nurse's Office in their walk and he
eyed it, "Great! That's great."

"Something in there you want to see?"   Layla asked.

"And how,"   Will mumbled. He had a way of mumbling answers out loud but
to himself. Answers he didn't want anyone to really hear.

"Really? Look, I have to go and I can see there's something you want to
talk about but I do not want to be late for Coach Boomer's phys ed class.
He's put me with some girl named Plant Girl? Or something...I dunno...see
ya later, okay?"

Will nodded, "Plant girl. Okay. Okay, see ya later and I'll talk to you
later, okay."

"Sure,"  Layla said and stopped. She hesitated at the Nurse's office, "I
can see there's something not quite right and...do you feel alright?"

"Oh, uh, oh yeah sure,"   Will turned his attention from the nurse's
office, "I'll see ya later. Tell you later."

"Okay, cause now I'm..."  she faked a laugh, "I'm really worried... I
don't like the way you're acting..."

"I'm fine,"  Will said but it came out weak. He was weak kneed. He wanted
nothing more than to follow Warren around and just watch him. He was
smitten and he knew it, "I'm fine, really..."   He faked it like Captain
Kirk faking he was fit to command the ship after  having been stabbed in
the back by a spy Andorian on STAR TREK. Someone in his fifth period
class, ALIENS, VILLAINS AND MONSTERS FROM OUTER SPACE told him that that
show was really the truth beamed from the future to help ease us all into
the real future...Will wasn't sure about that but he was sure about ...

"Warren still sick?"

"Warren? Oh, how'd such I know,"  Will said, trying to move her away from
the nurse's office now. And glancing back to get a look at Warren should
the hunk come out. "I don't..."

"You saw him in homeroom and first period...."
"Oh yeah, that's Warren, he's in my homeroom and first period now..."

"Okay that's the bell, I'm gonna go and you'd better too..."  Layla moved
away but kept watching him.

Will shook his head. He couldn't hide this from her any longer. He'd tell
her tonight. He was sure she already knew and if she didn't get the
signals...he couldn't shake the desire to just see Warren again. It
overwhelmed him, took him over and chilled him but warmed him at the same
time. It propelled him into the nurse's office. Inside, Will saw the
ancient looking Spex examining a girl on the chair. They were saying
something but he could not care what it was about. It was about the girl.
"Having been born yesterday, Agless, you know you have to accumulate more
knowledge before you can just fit in everywhere..."

"Yes Nurse Spex,"  the brunette girl with long hair said. To Will, she
looked like a girl he was trying to forget..Gwen...Royal Pain. Will
ignored her and moved to the bathroom door. If Warren were here...and he
had to be because he hadn't seen him come out, it had to be there...as
quietly as he could, Will tiptoed to the bathroom door and felt the
doorknob. He turned it quietly. Locked. Will pulled and turned and the
door opened, along with part of the wood and plaster that held it in
place at the lock.

"Well, it was more focused,"  Will thought and went in.

Inside, Warren was trying to stifle another sneeze.  Every time he
sneezed things went on fire. Will closed the door carefully. Warren
coughed this time. Fire came from his mouth and hit the wall of tile.
Will ran to it.

"Terrific, just what I need..."

Warren's shirt was still off and in his hand, he held a new one. Will put
the fire out with his hands but grabbed a towel too and smothered it.
"Oh, you'll get better...soon."   He looked at Warren. His eyes gave him
away. "My eyes...."

"Your eyes?"  Warren frowned, "Look, Strong, if this has to do with what
happened in the hallway just now, I gotta tell ya, it kinda freaked me
out..."

Will felt his heart fall. His shoulders went down. He held the towel
awkwardly, not sure where to put it but over Warren's mouth. "Shh,
shh..."  He looked at the new shirt in Warren's hand. "They don't know
I'm in here..."  Will made a "I know I"m not supposed to be doing this
face" and rolled his eyes. He looked at the back wall surreptitiously. He
sighed.

"So you can't tell anyone, okay?"
"Warren, don't ask me not to..."

"WHAT? You want to tell someone?" Warren grabbed Will's upper arms and as
he came closer to Will, he pulled Will closer and closer. "I...should....
I should.."

"I can't help the way I feel, Warren, I just can't. I've tried. I've
tried to ignore it. And you know how hard it was for me to tell my dad
about me being a sidekick, imagine this and..."

"Shut up Stronghold! I feel it...how hard it is for me right now..."
Warren drew Will, shorter but stocky, at him and they rubbed fronts on
each other. Warren tongued Will and his thick lips hit Will's face, his
pert but bubbly nose pressed into Will's and then met Will's smooth
cheek. They lapped at each other like this for some time and the bell
rang a while ago.

Will's mind wanted him to say so but he couldn't break from this for
that. To be goody goody again. Finally, he looked up from Warren's kiss
into Warren's big Anime like eyes. "I...I...have to tell Layla."

"Dude, she'll be crushed..."

"I don't know. I think she kinda suspects..."

"When did you first know?"

"I dunno. No, I do. That first night I saw you at the Paper
Lantern...the Chinese Restaurant."

"Guy, I work there,"  Warren's pants squirmed and he pulled Will's torso
closer to him, "I know it's a Chinese Restaurant."

"I dunno. You were just so kind and listened so well and yet you were all
manly too and funny and cute and..."

"Shut up,"  Warren smiled and those almost perfect teeth flashed white at
Will, who reached his head into Warren first this time and they rubbed
torsos on each other. Will reached down and opened his pants up and
opened Warren's also. Beneath, Warren had no underwear, which surprised
Will but suited him just fine. Will moved his Superman underoos down.
Warren just watched, his hardness growing firm and solid. "Dude..."

"What? Superman is just so cool..."

"Spiderman."

"Oh I like him too. I'm an equal opportunity kinda guy..."

"Is that why you fell for me? Cause I'm a sorta poor case..."

"No, I just told you why,"  Will took his member and placed it against
Warren's and they sort of sword fought with them. Warren got into the
spirit of it and dominated Will's. "Strong be my name and...shit, we
gotta go..."

"Me first, you can sneak out later,"   Warren said, putting the shirt on.
That chest, Will thought as he watched. "I'll think about letting you
tell Layla but as for..."

"Waitaminute, waitaminute, you don't have to think about it. I'm telling
her. If we don't want her to tell anyone..."

"I don't!"

"Then she won't tell anyone..."

"Oh man, this is gonna end up bad for us both, I just know it."

"Cool off,"   Will said, "And...oh, that's ahh, I didn't mean it that
way...but pretty funny huh?"

Warren just stared at him.
"No, huh?"

Warren stared. Then he opened the door and walked out of the office,
without saying anything to anyone. Spex and Agless watched him go. They
had no idea his dickhead was wet with pre cum and messing up his interior
pants. It was also rising again as he thought of Will. "Shit,"  he said
as he walked toward class. His smooth boy belly was getting the wrath of
his loving Stronghold. "Why me?"

Spex went to the kitchen area, away from the door. The girl left the
office. Spex waited for Will to sneak out. Then with her back turned, she
said, "Normally I don't spy on students in the bathroom..."   Will
stopped and shut his eyes. "And it's none of my business what they do in
there."

Will puffed, "Thank you...then you're not gonna tell anyone..."
"But when there are two of them in there at the same time..."  Spex
turned to look at him and then walked over to the door, "And they break
in...or rather one of them does..."

"I'm sorry, I can pay for it and..."

Spex nodded, "Listen, the door breaks all the time. I think we should
sliding ones like they have in STAR TREK..."   She smiled at him and he
smiled back but he had to force it. "Just be careful right now...and
watch what you do where you do it. And play it safe..."

"Safe? With Peace?"

"As safe you can and you do know what I mean by safe, don't you?"

"Oh yeah, that, oh yeah, yeah."   Will looked down at the floor, "I
didn't mean to break your confidence or trust by sneaking in there..."

"Of course you did...only you didn't know you were. You were following
your heart and your...hormones...but please it's no one's business but
your's and Warren's but this could get out. If one knows....and I don't
mean me, honey..."   She put a bony hand on Will's cheek. "I will protect
you and your secret...but you have a lot to think about in the next few
days and months and years..."

"Thanks and I'm sorry."   Will said and opened the door to go out. He
shut it.

Will walked out of the office. Agless was there. Will was surprised by
her. "Oh uh, hi, Agless, hello. Didn't see you there."

"I didn't see you either."   She smiled. She did so look like a young
version of Gwen that it scared him. "In there."

"Oh, that. I was getting  a physical behind closed screens,"  Will said,
"Invisible Doctor..."

"Will, I may have been born yesterday...but I don't believe that. Don't
worry. I won't tell anyone either..."

"Oh...okay...tell them what?"

"That you are gay."

That was the first time Will heard it out loud. He thought about it since
that night at the Paper Lantern. But he never said it out loud to anyone,
not even himself. Tonight he was going to have to say it to Layla. "Oh,
that."

"Yeah, that. Look,it's no one's business about you being gay. Just as
it's no one's business that I was born yesterday and am in tenth grade
already and know more than some of them do..."

"Well, if there's anything I can do for you to help..."

"It's my choice...I can be a baby if I want to be but with an extended
life span why should I waste it, you know. I can learn all I need to now
but I guess it's sometimes hard to live with my choice. But you, you're
different...with you it's not a choice..."

"No."

"Your secret is safe with me."

"Okay, thank,"  Will said and walked off, more worried than ever...
