Subject: Stand By Me - Chapter 2

Sorry the first two installments have been relatively short. 3rd
installment will be longer. Not sure when I will be able to get the next
part out, but keep the emails cumming! (that's the only way the story will
continue)

Stand By Me
Installment II
By: Storm

I quickly turned around to see who was watching us. It was Ace Merrill
accompanied by my brother Eyeball about ten feet away from Gordie and I. I
couldn't believe this. They were going to kill us.

"Well, look what we have here..." Ace says.

"I knew it!" yelled Eyeball. "I knew all along that you were a damned
fudge packer, Chris."

"So, Eyeball, whatcha think we should do with these two homos?" Ace asked
incredulously as he pulled out his silver lined pocketknife.

Eyeball glanced at the knife then back up to Ace's eyes with a smirk on his
face. Ace took several steps towards me as I started to panic. Ace came
right up to my face and held the knife to my throat.

"I told you Chambers that we would meet again. This is just the icing on
the cake that you're a raging faggot too. We're doing the world a favor by
killing the two of you. They'll crown us heroes. You ain't got no gun
this time around - do you?" Ace laughed.

I sat straight up in my bed as the cold sweat rolled down my smooth back.
"It was just a dream...it was all a bad dream...a very vivid dream at
that," I thought to myself. Well the last part was anyway. But it still
meant that Gordie wasn't mine. He hadn't told me that he loved me. I
started to shake. I brought my knees up to my chest and started to cry. I
haven't cried since that summer night while talking to Gordie on our search
for Ray Brower. It was to much for me to handle. This whole damned world
sucks. My family hates me, and I only have one friend that I can count on
to be there when I need him. I must have fallen asleep crying, because the
next thing I noticed was the bright rays of sun beaming through the small
window above my bed.

I looked over to the clock - 6:32 AM. I got out of the bed and headed
towards the shower stall to take a hot shower. The hot water trickled down
my smooth teen body - down my back and over my round ass - down my chest
and flat abdomen and rolling off my cock. No time for that right now. I
have to hurry up in here and leave to meet Gordie. I jumped out of the
shower into a pair of boxers and jeans, threw on a white t-shirt, ran some
gel through my hair and was out the door in record time.

The sun was already in full force early in the morning. It was sure hot
for an October day I thought to myself as I made my through Milo's junkyard
as there was no sign of Milo or Chopper this early on a Saturday morning.

As I was walking down Maple Lane I saw Teddy standing beside a white picket
fence talking to some girl who had shoulder length blonde hair, and
beautiful emerald green eyes. She was a knock out. Hey, I still can tell
when I'm in the presence of a beautiful girl. Come on - I'm not that gay.

As I approached the two of them within hearing range I heard the girl say,
"I'll catch ya later tonight, Teddy."

Teddy looked as if he were in a complete daze as he said, "B..bye, Laura."
I just shook my head. I didn't understand it. Teddy wasn't the best
looking guy in Castle Rock, but he sure had the ladies flocking around him.
So, I suppose your thinking what's the story on Teddy, huh? Well, Teddy
was the craziest guy we use to hang out with. He wore coke bottle glasses,
and had a hearing aid. All the kids use to come up to Teddy and try and
bum a cigarette off him, but the thing was that the bulge in Teddy's shirt
pocket was only the battery to his hearing aid. One day, in a fit of rage,
Teddy's father took his ear to the coil burner of their stove; his left ear
now looks like a small pile of melted wax. Teddy is best known for his
truck dogging. I mean those trucks messed him by mere inches.

"Hey, Chris!" Teddy said enthusiastically.

"What's up, Teddy?"

"Nuttin' much." Teddy nearly blushed.

"Sure, whatever you say man." I laughed.

Teddy looked over his shoulder only to see that Laura had vanished from
view. "Chris, a bunch of us guys were putting together a baseball team for
tomorrow. You wanna play some ball like the old days?"

"Sure," I said. "It's okay if Gordie comes along too, right?"

"Yea, no problem. Just be there by noon"

"See ya then," I said as I walked past Teddy, and down Maple Lane turning
onto Gordie's street

7

I went around to Gordie's backyard and knocked on the back door. Gordie's
father opened the door and said, "Hello, Chris."

"Hello, Mr. Lachance. Is Gordie here?" I asked.

"Yes, come in" He said as he glanced down at me. "He's up in his bedroom."

As I made my way up the stairs to the second floor I looked over my
shoulder to see Gordie's father staring at me.

I stopped and stood just out front of Gordie's bedroom door. I didn't
quite know how to approach Gordie about my feeling for him. I always had
been the leader of our little gang - always taking the initiative - but
this was different somehow. I had this weird feeling in the pit of my
stomach - butterflies I guess. I couldn't help but go back to that summer
day when we arrived back at Castle Rock the day before Labor Day. The town
seemed smaller from that day on. Vern and Teddy had already gone there
separate ways. "I'm never gonna get out of this town, am I Gordie?" Gordie
looked over at me and said, "You can go wherever you want to." He gave me
some skin. "I'll see you." We had locked eyes. I grinned - that sweet,
sunny grin. "Not if I see you first."

"Hey, Chris? Is that you?"

I snapped back into reality then opened the door. "What are you up to?" I
asked.

"Just working on this story I had started on awhile ago," he answered.

"You're going to become a great writer someday Gordie." He blushed. "Oh, I
ran into Teddy while walking over here."

"Did you?"

"Yea, he invited us to play some baseball with the guys tomorrow afternoon.
I told him that we would be there." I explained to Gordie.

"That's cool."

"Your dad doesn't like me," I said.

"He doesn't know you like I do, Chris."

Gordie was about the same height as I was, but a bit skinner than me.
Along with big puppy dog brown eyes, he had brown hair that he always
combed to the side. He was breathtaking to me.

"Umm...Gordie?" I felt at a lost for words.

"Yea, Chris?"

"I have something to tell you and I really don't want you to take this the
wrong way."

"Whatever it is Chris I can handle. I'm sure of it."

"Well, I think we grew closer together is the past several months..." I
trailed off as Gordie's face suddenly turned expressionless. "...well,
what I mean is that over that period of time my feelings have changed for
you. What I'm trying to say Gordie is that I love you."

"I love you too, man." Gordie punched me lightly in the arm.

"No. Gordie I mean I really love you - more than a friend."

"Oh. What a relief." Gordie said.

"Huh?" Now I was confused.

"Chris, I always loved you. I just could never bring myself to tell you."

I leaned over and kissed Gordie gently on his full lips.

"Mmm...strawberry." I moaned

Gordie giggled, "sorry about that. It must have been the strawberry yogurt
I ate for breakfast."

"What are we going to do about us?" I said. "I mean what about school? Our
families?"

"They don't need to know."

"But I don't see how I can possibly keep my hands off you now," I said as I
kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too, Chris."

"I don't want to rush into this too fast. I want to enjoy every minute of
this relationship. You think you can live with that?" I asked Gordie.

"I dunno. It's sure going to be a challenge I think." Gordie giggled as he
wrapped his arms around my shoulder and kissed me passionately of the lips.

"Well, I guess I'll have to keep you in line then, huh?" I laughed.

Well that's it for now. What will happen now that Chris and Gordie are
officially an item? Guess you will have to tune in next time. I hope you
continue to enjoy this story. Constructive criticism is welcomed. Flames
will be ignored. Take care.
