The Secret of Pink Kryptonite


Luthor's Hide out

Lex Luthor knew it was only a matter of time until Superman caught up to
him again, and he wanted to be ready.

He spent all of his free time tinkering with kryptonite, trying to make it
more potent. Several ways to change it had already been tried, each new one
producing some new and odd side affects on Superman. He finally had an idea
and took red kryptonite, and dipped it in acid. It remained in for only a
minute, and when Lex pulled it out the chunk of Kryptonite was now pink.

Lex checked it and it's radiation had changed slightly. He wasn't sure what
the pink kryptonite would do, but he hoped it would be
nasty. Unfortunately, Luthor didn't have a way to test the new form of
Kryptonite without Superman. So he would have to lure him in.



Star Labs

A few days latter Lex began a small crime to steal valuable equipment from
Star Labs. Superman and Superboy flew in to stop him.

"Luthor!" Superman growled, punching down the wall. "Drop that equipment
