Finaly the hunger games were over and Katniss and i were crowned the
victors and we were on our way back to district 12 to be back with our
familys. i was very happy that we pulled off the one thing to save both of
our lives but concerined now we have to play lovers even though i truly
have my thoughts on Katniss's friend Gale. Ive always seen the both of them
together selling and tradeing with residents of district 12 even when they
stop at my house to sell my father squerrls. im hopeing that now i might be
able to get Gale alone with me now and i can see where his feelings lie.

we get to the station where we are greeted like heroes for winning the
games and both makeing it back. i saw gale waveing at katniss with her
sister prim sitting on his sholders both with a huge grin oh their faces.
my mind was raceing i looked over at him hopeing to catch the site of those
beautiful blue eyes and the power in those strong sholders hopeing he would
glance in my direction. i saw prim point at me an heard her say look gale
its katniss's new boy friend. that got him to look at me and i expected to
see anger and distaste in those deep eyes but i could see a strange wanting
in them.

We walked shook hands and exchanged smiles with everyone in the square and
then gale came up to me and put on of his strong hands onto my sholder and
whisperd in my ear a request to come by the bakery to see me in private. i
nodded and to him and said to come by latter on tonight when everything
died down.

latter on that night gale came up to my house and we went up to my room. we
sat in silence for a while then he broke the silence. thankyou for all you
help in saveing katniss's life she is a very good fried to me. i see that
and i know how much everyone cares for her i sensed he wasnt fineshed and i
was right. there is one other reason i asked to meet with you gale said
with much of a whisper. oh and why is that i asked with half a hope.

gale didnt answer he just put his arm around peeta's waist and brought him
