"BREAKFAST IS READY!" yelled Cage, as everyone came charging downstairs as
if they hadn't eaten in days! Frank listened to the ruckus in the
background...and smiled, as it reminded him of having a full-house [with
his family]...!

OSCORP


	Oscorp security officer: William Morrison was just coming on duty
when his ex-wife dropped their 14yr old boy off on his job's doorstep,
telling him HE was supposed to have picked `Willy' up last night for his
weekend duty!
	Willis argued that he was WORKING and couldn't have his son
wandering about Oscorp or he'd get fired! The ex-wife said that was HIS
problem, as she left the 2 standing there watching her leave!
	"I have a disturbance up on the top floor that I have to
investigate, son...! Make sure you stay RIGHT HERE in the control booth
where it's safe...! After the LAST security breech [back in chapter-13], a
dozen or so guys DIED trying to contain some freakish science
experiment...! I can't have YOU running around loose if something like that
happens again! Your mother's a total BITCH for leaving you here after THAT
story...!"


"I know, dad..." said Willy, waiting for his dad to leave...! "...I told
her I could've stayed home and watched myself...! I'm OLD enough now...!"


"No you're not!" argued his father! "You know how dangerous it is for a kid
alone in the hood...? Just stay right THERE...! I'll be back!" insisted
William, before leaving the base of operations!
	Willy waited a good minute [or so], before he left also, following
his dad upstairs to where the ACTION was sure to be...!


	32yr old William Morrison had to take the STAIRS up to Norman
Osborn's office, as electricians worked on getting the power restored
throughout the building [in the basement]! Once topside, he had to PRY the
metal doors open to Osborn's office and laboratory!
	"Geez...what a MESS...!" he said once the doors open and a sea of
water exited the lab [flooding out into the corridor]! William immediately
noticed the large gaping HOLE in the roof [staring straight up at the
morning sun]! "Mr. Osborn...?...are you IN here...?" he called out, hoping
to find the rich bastard alive for brownie points! He wandered further into
the lab, noticing seaweed and other aquarium life floating atop the water!


"Geez pop...what happened here...?" asked Willis [Willy] Morrison, standing
in the doorway peeking in!


"Dammit Willy..., I TOLD you to stay outside...!" screamed William [knowing
the room wasn't secure yet]!


"I just wanted to make sure YOU were alright, dad...!" defended Willis
[having heard the horror stories his dad told friends and family about the
night of The Lizard]!


"I'm FINE, Willy...! Now go back downstairs until I come for you!" insisted
the father!


"Awe DAD...!" pouted Willis, as he turned to leave, only to feel something
grab his ankles and PULL him down under the 3ft. of water still filling the
lab...!
	"AHHH...DAD...!!" he screamed before being yanked under and
physically DRAGGED across the floor [effortlessly]! William saw something
attacking his son, and pulled his [standard] revolver from his hip and
started shooting at the creature trying to EAT his son! Dr. Otto Octavius
stood up on his human legs [with tentacles streaming out of his back and
sides like an octopus], his human body now grotesquely bloated after being
underwater for so long...!
	William instantly believed the creature a MONSTER, and started
firing bullets into Octavius's chest, killing him [as he fell back into the
water dead]! Willis Morrison felt the creature's hold on his ankle lapse,
as he jumped up out of the water...only to discover he'd fall on a syringe
that had been left floating underwater! He pulled the needle out of his
ribs and read the name: `Spiderman' written on the side! But the syringe
was empty, as Willis tossed it back into the water, just before his dad ran
over and hugged him [believing he nearly LOST his son]...!
	The lights came back on shortly thereafter, as a cleaning crew came
up to tidy everything up...!
