	Title: AFTERMATH

	With summer vacation officially over, things around The Xavier
Institute have gotten rather hectic of late, particularly since the events
which took place in Genosha! While the X-Men themselves had managed to stay
under the radar after the story ran of the small island nation that had
been attacked and overrun by an upraise in mutant activity [this after the
nation had declared Genosha a `safe haven' for mutants {chaps-56 thru 59}],
the worldwide opinion on mutants being a danger to society had risen
sharply, with most countries now outlawing mutant activity for fear of
another Genosha!
	With the Genosha government clearly licking its wounds after losing
its battle with mutants, The X-Men opened their doors to any and all
misplaced mutants that the Genosha government may have tricked or kidnapped
into slavery, giving them a true `safe' place to live and thrive without
fear of persecution! As a result [along with accepting enrollment from The
Morlocks as well {chap-55 `Girl Fight'}], the school is now overcrowded,
with students having to double up on roommates [sometimes 4 to a room]!
	However, the overcrowding is the least of The X-Men's worries! As
an unfortunate side effect of being enslaved by The Genohsa government,
victims of the infamous `brainwashing' suffered long-term damage to their
memories, leaving many of them with no idea who they truly were or where
they came from! Two such victims of this phenomena were Scott Summers
[Cyclops] and Ororo Monroe [Storm], both whom Professor Xavier [currently
housing the body of The X-Men's enemy: Mountjoy] is helping through
extensive psych sessions to regain most of their knowledge and/or memories!

THE XAVIER INSTITUTE FOR HIGHER LEARNING Salem Center, NY


	The X-Men [Wolverine, Bishop, Havok, Beast, Polaris, Forge,
Banshee, and Mora Mactaggert] waited for HOURS outside Xavier's Office for
the first results of the psych sessions, hoping it would repair lost
memories of long-time friendships and/or loves!
	While Wolverine and Bishop were hoping the sessions would rekindle
the LOVE they shared with Scott and Ororo [Wolverine having proposed to
Scott in Genosha {chap-56 `Genosha'}], Havok was hoping his brother [his
only surviving relative] would remember him after being astringed for so
long after their parents' deaths [see chap-23 `Havok']!
	Polaris could SEE the worry on young Havok's face as he stood in
the hallway with the rest of them, waiting...!


"Everything will be alright..." said Polaris, walking over to gently place
her arms sympathetically around Havok in support...! "...your brother will
come through unscathed...! Professor Xavier's the STRONGEST telepath in the
world...if anyone could fix him and Storm, it's HIM!"


"Did'n seem ta DO much ta help Mountjoy..." said Wolverine [under his
breath].


"Mountjoy was a SPECIAL case..." said Bishop, having fought Mountjoy back
in his timeline. "...HE was a murderous enemy who prayed on the souls of
MANY...! Don't mourn him, he's killed hundreds if not thousands...!"


"I for one think it's a GOOD idea that the Professor is using Mountjoy's
body to do good..." added Dr. Mora MacTaggert, leaning against a wall in
front of her fiancé Banshee. "...at least some GOOD's come out of him
being here...!"


"What's bugging me MOST of all is seeing that Phoenix symbol rise up from
out of nowhere...!" said Polaris, changing subjects. "What was THAT all
about...?"


"The Professor SAID he didn't sense the presences of Abigail anywhere in
the vicinity..." responded Beast.


"So WHAT was it, a fluke...?" asked Forge, sitting on the floor with his
back to the wall.


"I don't know..." admitted Beast, "...I'd say it was a figment of our
collective imaginations..., except we ALL saw it...!"


"AND the entire nation of Genosha FELT the erotic wave that swept
through...! I swear, it was like being in New York all over again...!" said
Polaris, getting chills [see chap-42 `Dark Phoenix'].
	Just then the doors opened to Xavier's office as everyone sitting
about [in chairs and on the floor] jumped up with anticipation! Mountjoy
[Xavier] walked out first, his stoic face showing flashes of concern as he
addressed the staff...!


"As all of you know, Ororo and Scott suffered severe memory damage due to
the results of Genosha's `brainwashing' experiments..." he said, causing
some in attendance to worry more...! "...I have spent the last several
hours digging through their psyches to locate their true identities and
forge them to the surface, in essence, recreating their characters...! As
you can imagine this is no easy task, and will require many more days or
weeksof sessions before they are once again the Scott and Ororo we all know
and love!"


"Cut through the chase, Professor..., when can I see her...?!" asked Bishop
eagerly, wanting his woman back in his arms!


"You may SEE her now...!" said Xavier, stepping aside as Storm emerged from
his office! Everyone flocked around her, asking if she remembered them?
Storm looked each member in the face, then answered a positive `yes!', much
to the delight of everyone!
	Then Bishop walked up and took the weather-witch's hand in his,
gently stroking her knuckles...!


"Do you remember anything about me...?" he asked, hopeful. "About...us...?"
	Storm's eyebrows narrowed as images of Bishop's Danger Room
Sequence flashed in her mind! She knew he was from the future, a future
where most of the X-Men [including her] died, then she recalled images of
them kissing, becoming much more intimate!
	Storm slowly reached up and gently touched Bishop's right cheek,
just before leaning in and kissing him on the lips! Everyone cheered when
it seemed her memories were fully intact!


"What about Scott...?" asked Wolverine, turning towards Mountjoy!


"Scott's memories are a bit more...delicate than Ororo's...!" explained
Xavier, as Scott emerged from the room!


"Scotty...?" called his younger brother, hoping he might be recognized?


"Alex!" smiled Scott, as the two brothers hugged, bringing tears to the
eyes of nearly everyone in attendance! "Where's Jean...?" he asked,
searching around, looking past Logan who stood directly in front of him...!


"She...she's apartment hunting with Dana..." informed Alex. "...why...?"


"Cause I love her, that's why...!" confessed Scott! "She's my girlfriend!
I've GOT to make up with her, pronto!" he added, rushing down the corridor
in search of his lady love!
	Wolverine stood in shock as he watched his lover rush off to search
of someone else...!


"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM...??!!??" he snarled, gripping Mountjoy by the
throat as he physically rushed him backwards into his office, slamming him
against the back wall [subsequently knocking photos off their hooks]!
	Xavier couldn't breathe as Wolverine's fingers squeezed into his
neck, cutting off his oxygen with just one hand!


"Let him go, Logan!" screamed Polaris, as she and the others ran into the
room to break up the fight!


"Let go!" insisted Beast, wrapping his strong arms about Wolverine's torso
as he prepared to pull him away! "This isn't Xavier's fault!"


"Like HELL it ain't...!" snapped Wolverine angrily, lifting Mountjoy up off
his feet! "He knows EXACTLY what he's doin'...!"
	Unable to break out of Wolverine's grip, Xavier resulted to drastic
measures as he decided to merge with Wolverine's body in a `hostile
takeover', absorbing Logan's physical form into his own!
	Logan could FEEL Mountjoy's body beginning to merge as his
fingertips [which had been steadily tightening about Xavier's throat] began
to sink into and be absorbed into Mountjoy's body and skin! The two men
began to merge into ONE as Mountjoy attempted to step into Wolverine's
person, taking over all of his muscles and functional skills!


"OH...NO...YOU...DON'T...BUB...!" struggled Wolverine, fighting back as he
and Xavier's fought for control of his body!
	Everyone stood back and watched as Wolverine stood still, trembling
with an internal struggle as veins began to pop out of his head, neck, and
arms! His clenched fists popped Adamantium claws [SHINK], causing everyone
within the room to stand back a safe distance!
"GET...OUT...OF...MY...BODY...!!" he hissed, just as Mountjoy suddenly
tumbled out of him falling weakly to the floor in an exhausted heap!
	Wolverine reached down and grabbed the professor by the shirt, then
raised his fist [with his extended claws] to hit him..., prompting a
desperate reaction from the X-men as Beast, Forge, and Banshee tackled
Wolverine to the ground!


"What ye doin' lassie...? Are ye crazy...??!" asked Banshee, as the 3
mutants held him down while Polaris and Mora attended to Xavier.


"Are you alright, Professor...?!" asked Mora, holding Mountjoy's head as
she stared into his dazed eyes...!


"Get off of me...!" yelled Wolverine, swinging wildly as he instantly
shoved all 3 mutants off him with one move! Beast stood his ground, ready
to move back IN at the slightest notion that Wolverine would continue the
fight! "THAT bastard did that on purpose!" accused Logan, pointing down at
Mountjoy!


"Did WHAT exactly...?" asked Mora, helping Mountjoy to his feet! "He TOLD
you Scott's mind was delicate...! That it might take several sessions if
not WEEKS to restore his mind to normal! Yet you ATTACK him because he
couldn't make Scott remember the indecent relationship you had with him as
a teenager...?! How disgusting are YOU that you not only had inappropriate
relations with a minor..., but that you viciously ATTACK the only person on
the planet capable of helping him restore his memory! No wonder your SON is
so fucked up!" added Mora, as she, Banshee, and Polaris escorted Xavier to
med-lab!
	Everyone else in the room fell silent, some of them agreeing with
Mora's assessment, some not.


"WHAT makes you think Xavier purposely left some of Scott's memories
out...?" asked Beast, wanting to get to the bottom of it all!


"He WANTS Scott for himself!" accused Wolverine, as Bishop escorted Storm
away from all the ciaos! "He's been wanting him ever since graduation
day..., when he FUCKED Scott in the stables!"
	Beast and Forge's jaws dropped...!


"I assume you have PROOF of this allegation...??!" asked Beast, ever the
diplomat!


"I have ALL the proof I need..." growled Logan, thinking back on the day he
discovered it! "...my NOSE knows! I could SMELL Mountjoy's scent all over
him...INSIDE him!"


"This is serious...!" said Forge, folding his arms over his chest! "If
Xavier's been misusing his powers to manipulate people..., his character
and motives come into question...!"


"There's a DEEPER, more FOREBODING question here..." thought Beast,
aloud...! "...IF Xavier is indeed doing any of these things..., how much of
it is HIM, and how much of it is influenced by the villain Mountjoy...?!"


"You think Mountjoy could be more in control of the professor than we
originally thought...?!" gasped Forge!


"Anything's possible...!" said Beast, rubbing his chin. "Only the professor
would know for sure...! We don't have another telepath handy to confirm it
one way or another!"


"Wait..." interrupted Forge. "...Emma Frost cleared Xavier, confirming
Mountjoy's consciousness non-existent!" he recalled [chap-34 `Mindlink']!
"Doesn't THAT account for anything...?"


"It's obvious Emma Frost had her OWN agenda..." discerned Beast, thinking
back of The White Queen's employ as an X-Men! "We can't take ANYTHING she
said as gospel, now that we know she only joined our ranks to get in CLOSE
to Jean to steal the Abigail persona from her subconscious!" [chaps-38 thru
42]!


"So HOW do we find out if any of this is true...?" asked Forge.


"If Xavier's been messing with our minds, there may be no one to
collaborate Logan's story..." reasoned Beast.
	Wolverine sulked, punching his fist through Xavier's wall!


"I don't NEED collaboratin'..." he snarled, out for blood! "...I HAVE all
the proof I need alright!"


"Surveillance cameras!" said Beast! "If Xavier's been doing questionable
activity, the school's indoor/outdoor surveillance cameras might be about
to shed some light!" he added, heading to the security room.

ELSEWHERE


	18 year olds Jean Grey [Marvel Girl] and Dana Moonstar [Spirit],
were checking the rental ads for a new apartment together off campus, in
Salem County. "How much is the rent again...?" asked Dana, as the realtor
escorted them through the layout.


"$600 a month, not including utilities...!" said the women. "But it's very
close to Salem University, if you girls are planning to go to college...?"


"We ARE..." said Jean, looking about skeptically. "...but we're not sure if
we'd rather dorm or rent privately...!"


"I thought we already agreed to rent OFF campus...?" asked Dana, getting an
odd look from the realtor.


"Can we have a moment alone, please...?" asked Jean, knowing she and Dana
had to have a heart to heart.


"I don't have much time..." declined the woman, looking at her watch. "...I
have another client coming by soon...!"
	Dana Moonstar [a mutant with the power to draw the deepest darkest
images from people's minds and bring them face to face in reality],
conjured a ghost that rose up out of the floor like zombies from a movie!
"OH..." gasped the women, suddenly frightened out of her wits as she ran
for the door! "...I'll be outside...!" she added, not wanting to alert the
girls to what she saw, in case it might scared them from renting...!


"DANA...!" sighed Jean, knowing SHE had something to do with the woman's
quick departure!


"You said you wanted to talk privately...!" reasoned Dana. "What's
wrong...?" she asked, touching Jean gently about her long red hair. "I
thought we discussed this already...? We agreed to MOVE IN together..., to
become a couple...!"


"I may have agreed to move IN together..." agreed Jean, pulling
away. "...but I never agreed to being a couple!"


"What's the problem...?" asked Spirit, becoming frustrated. "We've been
messing around for over a year now...! I know you LIKE me...!"


"Yes...I LIKE you..." said Jean, backing against the fireplace. "...but not
like THAT...!" she added, feeling boxed in. "I'm not a lesbian!"


"No...?" asked Dana, insulted. "You didn't seem to mind when I was going
DOWN on you practically every night since Scott dumped you!" she said,
touching against Jean's abdomen, roughly handling her mound! "In fact...,
you seemed to really LIKE it!"


"Dana...don't...!" protested Jean, as Dana began to lift Jean's skirt.


"Why not...? Afraid you'll LIKE it again...?" asked Dana, dropping to her
knees as she aggressively lifted Jean's skirt and lowered her frilly lace
panties to reveal her red patch! "Afraid the old lady might come back in
and find us...? Believe me, she won't!" she added, before pushing her face
into Jean's snatch!


"Ohhhh...!" moaned Jean, growing weak as Dana's talented lesbian tongue
began to dance against her clitoris!


"JEAN!" called Scott, rushing into the apartment!


"SCOTT...?!" gasped Jean, shoving Dana away as the Indian female fell back
onto her butt, completely taken by surprise! "Wha...what're you doing here,
Scott...??!" asked Jean, lowering her dress as she planned to ignore Dana
lying on the floor!


"I HAD to see you...!" said Scott, rushing in with his brother [Alex]
behind him! "Rogue told me where to find you!"


"What do you want...?" asked Jean, curiously [unable to read minds
anymore].
	Scott grabbed Jean's hand, then fell down to one knee...!


"I know I fucked up when I broke up with you...! I know I have no right to
try to waltz back into your life! I have no excuse...!" he added, reaching
into his pocket to pull out the engagement ring Logan had bought for him in
`Genosha' [chap-56]! "I don't know how else to express my feelings, other
than to ask...if you'd MARRY ME...?!"


"Oh Scott...!" gasped Jean, covering her mouth in disbelief!
	Spirit's eyes narrowed, what kind of a trick was Scott trying to
prove? Everyone knew Jean was HER girl now!


"Yes Scott! Yes...I'll marry you!" agreed Jean without hesitation, much to
Dana's shock as she stood flabbergasted!
	Scott placed the too big ring onto Jean's dainty finger [Jean used
her powers of telekinesis to make the ring fit smaller], then stood up and
kissed and hugged her, full of love and gratitude as they openly expressed
their feelings for each other without shame or regret!


"You fucker...!" shouted Dana, yanking Jean away by the hair before kicking
Scott in the chin, causing him to somersault backwards onto the hardwood
floor!


"HEY...!" yelled Alex, watching his brother crumble from one kick!


"YOU want some of this too...?!" asked Dana, having spent HOURS upon HOURS
in the Danger Room fighting Wolverine!
	Alex threw up his hands and backed off...


"Not my fight..." he said, conceding!
	Scott awakened from his quick slumber, grabbing his sore jaw as he
rose up on his elbows!


"What happened...?" he asked, having missed the number on the truck that
hit him!
	Dana moved in for another kill, grabbing Scott by the arm [as if
about to help him up], then physically tossing him over her shoulder and
into the plastered wall!


"DANA...stop it!" ordered Jean!


"No way, bitch...!" said Spirit, refusing! "I'm going to show you that the
MAN you love is nothing but a punk-ass bitch! I'm TWICE the man he'll ever
be!" added Dana, yanking Scott out of the wall, and flipping him backwards
onto the floor! Scott crashed against the hardwood on his back, groaning in
physical pain when he landed!


"What's your problem, Dana...?!" he asked, scrambling to his feet! "What's
WRONG with you...? What did I ever do to YOU...??!"


"Are you kidding...?!" asked Dana, spinning on one foot like a figure
skater, clocking Scott with the other foot to the face! "You come back
after dating Wolverine for the past year, and you want to pick up with MY
girlfriend where you left off...?! Are you CRAZY or something...?!"


"Kinda, sorta..." answered Alex, having been outside the professor's office
the whole time waiting for Scott to emerge!


"Wha...?" asked Scott, completely at a loss for words! "Me and
Wolverine...??! What'r you talking about...?!"


"Don't play DUMB with me...!" yelled Dana, in a fury! "I'm gonna knock some
SENSE back into his head!" she threatened, moving in for the kill! She was
just about to hit Scott with everything she had, when Jean suddenly
intervened, shoving her aside with a telekinetic shove!


"UHH...!" sounded Spirit, as she sailed across the room as if someone had
thrown her! "Oh...you wanna pick HIS side...?" she asked, realizing Jean
had turned against her!


"I'm not picking anyone's SIDE..." said Jean! "...I just want this stupid
fight to end! You and I were NEVER a couple...! I was NEVER your girl!"


"Oh it'll end..." said Spirit, conjuring a demon image from Jean's deepest
darkest psyche! "...with the deaths of you both!"
	Jean saw the emergence of her hated unborn sister [Abigail] rise up
out of the floor like a Dark Phoenix rising! Memories of Abigail trying to
take over her life and mind popped in her head as she screamed aloud and
cringed to the floor like a little girl afraid of monsters!


"Enough of this shit!" said Havok, hitting Spirit with a burst of plasma,
sending her careening outside and into the street at the feet of the
frightened realtor [who jumped into her car and sped off like the dickens]!
	Jean ran to Scott's side!


"Are you alright, lover...?!" she asked, hugging him tightly!
	Scott chuckled with embarrassment...!


"Guess Dana proved to be a stronger MAN than me after all, eh...?" he said,
wiping blood from his spit bottom lip! "I couldn't even protect the woman I
love!" he added, getting down on himself!


"YOU are the stronger man...!" declared Jean, leaning into Scott! "Only a
STRONG man would allow a woman of lesser power to beat up on him in the
name of love and honor!" she added, kissing Scott as they lay on the floor
in each other's arms, tearing at each other's clothes...!


"uh...don't mind me..." said Alex, sneaking towards the door! "...I'll find
my own way home!" he added, giving them privacy!

SECURITY ROOM


	X-Men: Beast, Forge, and Wolverine sat inside the Institute's
automated security room, going over past surveillance footage since
Xavier's return to the mansion in Mountjoy's body! It was hours upon hours
of footage they had to search through, with most of it showing students
going back and forth to school or class, or horsing around at play outside!
	There was footage of Mountjoy lurking about in the halls, holding
what looked like simple conversations with individuals before taking them
to areas where surveillance cameras didn't record, but nothing seemed
strange or out of the way in any of the footage. THEN they began to notice
a pattern of Xavier sneaking into several people's private dorm rooms,
spending long periods of time inside before emerging. Even Beast saw
footage of Xavier going into HIS room late one night, but was unable to
recall having any meetings or conversations with the professor in his
private bedroom!


"What do you think this means...?" asked Forge, still going over footage.


"I don't know..." said Beast, wanting to keep an open mind. "...could be
that I simply forgot having a talk with him..."


"OR it could mean Xavier's been in his room at nite after dark without
permission..." said Wolverine, without mincing words. "...where he prolly
FUCKED you an' then erased yur memory of it, like he did Scott's!"


"Now, now, Logan...there's NO evidence of that happening..." defended
Beast, not wanting to believe it true!


"Why else would he be IN yur room that late at nite..." asked Wolverine,
checking the timeline on the video...! "...for over 45 minutes...?!" he
added, after seeing what time Xavier emerged from Hank's room. "He was
prolly in there ridin' that big blur furred ass the whole time! Did ya ever
wake up inna mornin' with a sore asshole...? Or a leaky one?"
	Beast's furry eyebrows rose instantly...!


"LOOK fellas...!" said Forge, finding footage of Xavier standing in the
hallway of one of the academic floors, jacking off! "What's he doing...?"


"He's obviously gratifying himself..." surmised Beast, staring at the
screen. "...but I can't see what he's looking at...!"


"Maybe he's readin' somebody's mind and jackin' off to the thoughts they
havin'...?" suggested Forge.


"Ain't that...YUR classroom, Forge...?" asked Wolverine, pointing at the
closed science lab door with a shades covering the glass! "What's goin' ON
inside there that would have Mountjoy's cock all up in arms like that...?"
he inquired.


"I...I...I don't know..." said Forge, unsure. Just then they saw Xavier
orgasm, shooting a huge seed onto the hardwood floor beneath him! Seconds
later the door opened, and out walked Sam Guthrie [Cannonball], Remy Lebue
[Gambit], and John Proudstar [Thunderbird], all three laughing and
adjusting their flies as they walked right by Xavier without seeing him
standing there [chap-37 `Memorex Or Mountjoy']!


"Charles must have blocked his presence from the student's minds, if they
walked right BY him without even acknowledging him...!" reasoned Beast.


"It's OBVIOUS what Charley was jackin' off to something THEY were
doin'...!" suspected Wolverine, giving Forge a suspicious eye!


"I...I...they MADE me do it...!" stammered Forge, feeling guilty.


"Look!" said Beast, as footage showed Xavier going inside to confront
Forge, before slamming the door closed behind him! "What happened inside,
Forge...?" asked the furry Beast, curiously.


"I...I don't remember...!" said Forge, drawing a blank.


"C'mon..." argued Wolverine. "...we GOT ya on camera...! You were obviously
gettin' gang banged by the boys..., so what did Xavier SAY to you when he
came into your classroom afterwards...?!"
	Forge looked stumped...


"I remember that day as if it just happened yesterday...!" admitted Forge,
as the images of the 3 students popped in his head! "Free period just
started, and my last class had just exited for morning break when Sam,
John, and Remy walked into my room...! I could see the smirks on their
faces, and I KNEW I was in trouble! They brazenly groped their crotches in
front of me, telling me how they all planned to take turns fucking me after
learning how good a lay I was...! After they finished, they left me
dripping wet lying across my desk!"


"So...what happened when Xavier walked in and found you there...?" asked
Wolvie, picturing the scenario as he repeated the question!


"I...I honestly don't recall seeing Xavier there that day...!" said Forge,
trying to recall! "My mind's a blank!"


"More like ERASED!" theorized Logan. "Charles must've blocked it from his
mind like he did Scott's and Hank's! Don't THIS prove that he's up to no
good...?! How many unexplained visits do ya hafta see b'fo' ya realize he
ain't legit...?!"
