It was solely created by the confessed `the master of magnesium', who built the asteroid by combining metallic rock from all over the planet! The asteroid is merely a mile long, but houses a private kingdom that commands privacy like no other fortress known on Earth! For years HE has been able to live there in peace, hatching out his plans for the advancement of mutantkind and the annulation of man, without fear of being found by opposing authorities! His name is: MAGNETO! And the construct in question is amply named: ASTEROID-M. Asteroid-M is currently where Magneto and The Brotherhood Of Mutants fled after the Apocalypse fiasco [see: chaps 47 thru 53 of X-Men Tales for details]! The man called: Magnus [to some], retreated to his orbiting fortress in defeat, recalibrating his plans and ideas for the future, a future he was SURE would yield great benefits with the unburying of Apocalypse; believing untold power and wisdom would be at his fingertips! Magnus helped passed the time away from Earth by contemplating reestablishing himself as the world's most awesome mutant, and fucking one of his younger female protégé's! He currently held her legs penned back behind her head in ultimate missionary position as he slammed her tender young cunt with his thick 8.5" appendage! As a member of The Royal Guard [Apocalypse's appointed henchmen], HE was responsible for keeping her alive until the baby's birth! If that child somehow survived the death of Apocalypse's reality warp and continued to live in THIS world time period, its powers [combined with that if its mother's] could be astronomical! "This is Mother Mayhem, Caliban, and you remember Healer..., he saved Rogue and Storm from certain death back when you were fighting Dark Phoenix [X-Men Tales chap-43, `Miracle Healer']...! They're all certified teachers...they got their degrees Online...! They're definitely qualitied to teach our students...!" "No offense..." said Forge, "...but we'll HAVE to test them to see exactly what their grade level of education is...!" "I believe each school year is run by a curriculum...? CALIBAN has the ability to detect other mutants by sense...he can project FEAR into others, AND he's excellent in hand to hand combat, one of the best in my group! And HEALER, as you know, can heal any mutant he touches from illness outside of their gifted powers...! They would ALL be assets to the school...!" "Thank you for bringing them to our attention, Calisto...we'll...THINK about it, and get back to you...!" said Forge [politely]! "THINK about...? What's there to THINK about...?" asked Calisto, leaning in over Xavier's desk [his charcoal black hands gripping the edges of the oak desk while his jet-black face stared ominously at Forge, frightening him]...! "You SAID you wanted teachers that understood the plight of our students, I GOT you teachers that understands the plight of our students...! What's the problem...?!" "The `problem' as you put it is; that it's imperative that our kids have all the resources available to them to learn HOW to cope and use their powers productively in society, and not just hide amongst them!" argued Forge! "Some of these children are powerful beyond belief...and have no idea exactly how dangerous they really are until put in a life threatening situation where their powers are most likely amplified through fear and adrenaline...! In addition to reading, math, social studies, and world economics, our children must learn how to hone their mutant born skills, as well as defend themselves without using their powers!" "And YOU don't think The Morlocks can promote a safe environment for the children...?" questioned Calisto, reading through the lines! "You STILL think I'm the enemy...?" he realized...! Forge couldn't answer...as he DID have a lot of misgivings...! "Cal...can you take The Morlocks outside with you for a moment...? I'd like to speak with Forge alone...!" "No problem..." said Cal, giving Forge the evil-eye as he escorted his Morlocks out into the corridor...! Angel turned to Forge... "Before you ask, Warren...the answer is NO...!" said Forge [getting up from his chair], before Angel could even speak! "How DARE you...!" yelled Angel, using one of his mighty WINGS to slap Forge backwards against the wall [holding him there]...! "WHO died and made YOU boss...?! We're BOTH co-headmasters of this school, meaning all decisions are decided equally! You can't just veto my thoughts and ideas because YOU don't like someone...! I think bringing The Morlocks IN as teachers is a GOOD idea! I support Cal totally! New mutants on one side, old mutants on the other...as mashed potatoes, milk and juice cartons, vegetables, water bottles, pizza slices, half eaten sandwiches and fruits were being thrown back and forth as stuff splattered everywhere, making one hellova mess! Forge and Angel looked at each other, wondering WHO was going to get in the middle to stop it all...? Then suddenly... "EVERYONE STOP THIS NONESENSE RIGHT NOW...!!" yelled Mother Mayhem, using her mutant born powers to settle everyone down instantly...! "Just LOOK what you're doing to your school...! Let's try to cut him off at the pass...!" insisted Forge, as the remaining members of The X-Men went into defense mode! :::OUTSIDE::: Magneto descended downward from the skies above, easily deflecting the laser cannons and projectiles aiming his way...! In fact, he was able to SHUT OFF the weapons completely with his powers over metal objects, rendering them useless as his feet touched ground...! Angel shot up out of the skylight, soaring through the air [with his beautiful majestic wings in flight], while Calisto, Caliban, Mother Mayhem, and Healer all ran out onto the front lawn on foot...! "I have not come here to fight with you, X-Men..." yelled Magneto, as The Morlocks stopped in their tracks, waiting to hear what he had come for...? "...I wish to speak with Xavier...! Where is he...?" he asked, looking at a lot of unfamiliar faces...! "Xavier is no longer here..." yelled Angel, descending to the ground in front of the group [as the spokesperson]...! "...he was abducted and taken into SPACE...! We haven't seen him since!" [X-Men Tales chap-64, `StarJammers']. Magneto frowned, not knowing whether to believe them or not...? "So, as you can SEE...you have NO reason to be here...! Turn around and leave our school...! Our students have done NOTHING to you!" "Xavier is inconsequential..." stated Magneto, "...what I really seek: are my GRAND CHILDREN..." he admitted! "...I was TOLD there were here...being cared for by Mora MacTaggert...! Bring them to ME...!" "No way..." said Angel, unlocking the hoister on his hip containing his own laser pistol...! "...those kids are under the SCHOOL'S protection...!" "Then you leave me NO CHOICE...!" said Magneto, using his powers to reactivate the weapons, turning them AROUND on their owners...! "You forget I helped design some of these weaponries...I KNOW where everything is..." he added, before firing on the group! "...including Mora's underground labs...!" The Morlocks went on the defense as they fought to avoid being tagged by one of the defense weapons, using their powers to evade or destroy the cannons and projectiles coming their way! "WATCH OUT, Mother...!" yelled Calisto, tackling Mother Mayhem to the ground just before she would have been tagged by one of the cannons...! Calisto immediately flipped forward and KICKED the metal cannon, knocking it off its metal stand as it crashed to the ground [broken]! Caliban jumped and leaped out of cannon fire as he too rendered a machine or two useless! Angel dodged cannon fire and projectiles from the air, while Healer simply kept healing himself every time he was tagged! Upstairs: some of the students watched from the windows instead of heading underground as instructed! They watched as Magneto singlehandedly held back the entire group, keeping them preoccupied while he opened a path through the ground [using the metal pipelines and cables underground to rip the earth apart] to the sub-levels beneath the mansion...! "C'mon guys..." said Tether, breaking a window before jumping through...! "...the adults need our help...!" Magneto noticed several students trying to come to their teacher's aids [Tether, Ghost, Smoke, Ladybug, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Sunspot, & Weapon-X], and aimed the remaining weapons up at the school, firing IN on the students...! "AHHHHHH...!!" they screamed as they fell back into the building, ducking for cover as small explosives blew up the walls and ceiling around them! Magneto was almost inside the sub-levels when FORGE tore through an opening [wearing a specially designed power-suit], running directly INTO Magneto physically, knocking him off his feet and onto his bottom several yards away! Magneto caught his barring when he looked up and saw Forge in battle pose... "Idiot..." he said, lifting his hand to dispose of him, "...fighting ME in an armored suit...! YOU should know better...!" "I DO know better..." smiled Forge, as Magneto's powers did nothing to him...! "...the suit's NOT made of metal...but of a very HARD plastic compound...!" he informed, pointing his fist at the master of magnesium...! "As are my weapons...!" he added, before firing a small plastic missile! Magneto jumped out of the way, but was caught too close to the blast zone as the power and momentum of the explosion sent him careening sideways, temporarily dazed! Magneto laughed, ripping a cannon box off its foundation and sending it flying full throttle into Forge and his battle-suit from behind! Just then Mora MacTaggert was heard running in from the guesthouse... "MORA...don't..." cried Angel, as Magneto quickly bound the good doctor with metal piping, holding her prisoner...! Mora screamed and struggled, trying to wedge free... "You KNOW what I'm here for, Mora..." said Magneto, "...GIVE them to me...or I will bring this entire school down on the heads of your students...!" he ordered! "I...I...I CAN'T...!" cried Mora, as Magneto tightened the rings on her, squeezing her body in a vice grip! "AHHHHHHHH...!!" she screamed in pain, trying to endure...! "WHERE ARE THEY...??!" barked Magneto, ready to KILL the woman if he had to! Mora looked towards the guesthouse [the direction of which she came from]...! Magneto dropped her where she was, and quickly took to the sky as the cannons suddenly stopped firing on the X-Men...! "Where did Magneto go...?!" asked Calisto, rushing to Mora's aid...! In the background they could SEE the guesthouse being ripped from its foundation and lifted skyward beyond the trees... :::INSIDE::: Shadowcat, Karma, and Wolvesbane held the children [protectively]! Magneto broke his way into the house [using his formidable powers to use the plumbing to his advantage], confronting the girls...! "You have something that belongs to ME...!" he said, staring down at the 3 of them [2 of them holding his grandchildren]...! "We have NOTHING you want, villain...!" said Karma, using her powers of possession to try to gain control over Magneto's mind! "You're mind tricks does nothing to me so long as I wear my helmet...!" informed Magnus, disregarding the girl!
