"I guess but that means no more of this" said Vanessa referring to the two of them having sex. "Uhh... that's fine" said Zac. "Was I that bad?" Vanessa asked. "Actually it's just not my cup of tea anymore" said Zac. They both laid there quietly for a while until Vanessa broke the silence, "When are you going to meet... Justin?" "I'm not" said Zac "I don't want to see him." "Okay, I don't know why I'm asking this call it morbid curiosity, but why?" Vanessa asked. "Well... It's an extremely long story it all started to fall apart around the time that I came back out here from Canada" said Zac. "So you two were before..." Vanessa started. "Yeah" said Zac "did I mention I'm sorry. Let's just say it ended badly a lot of backbiting and lying. It all ended with me giving up sex for four months which just ended today." "Because of me" said Vanessa "I'm sorry." "No, don't apologize" said Zac "none of this is your fault." "I didn't know" said Vanessa "Don't worry" said Zac "it had to end eventually and if it makes you feel any better most likely you're the first and last woman I'll ever sleep with." "Oddly enough" said Vanessa "yeah, it does." "Well I think it's time to head to the studio" said Zac after a long moment of silence "so we better get ready." "Yeah" said Vanessa getting out of the bed and pulling up her panties. "I'm gonna hit the shower real quick" said Zac "then I'll meet you downstairs." "Alright" said Vanessa. Once Zac got out of the shower he packed a bag and headed downstairs. Vanessa was in the Den watching TV on the big screen but shut it off and grabbed her bags when Zac walked in. "Now we get to go live in our dinky little trailers again" said Vanessa as they walked out to the car. "Ahh... The good life" said Zac. They chatted a little more as they drove to the studio still in their new friendly manner. "So you mean all those times you left to go to the gym with those Jensen and James guys you were actually going to the gym" said Vanessa "I totally thought that was code." "Nope" said Zac "actually they wanted to do more than go to the gym. I always left right after we were done that's why I would always take my shower at home." "Yeah that explains a lot" said Vanessa. "I didn't expect you to be this understanding" said Zac. "I guess I finally just realized you don't really have a choice anymore" said Vanessa. "Yeah I'm not gonna let things go like they did before" said Zac "I fucked over a lot of people so I'll make sure I don't lose control like I did." "Well if you ever feel you know overwhelmed you can talk to me" said Vanessa. As they pulled into a parking space they saw a small group huddled not far away. They grabbed their stuff out of the car and walked over to find Lucas talking to a group of extras who all stopped talking when Zac and Vanessa walked up. "Hey, Vanessa" said Lucas then he threw Zac a glower. "I'm gonna head over to my trailer" Vanessa said to Zac. "Cool, I'll catch up with you later" said Zac. "Alright guys see ya" said Lucas to the extras and Vanessa avoiding Zac's gaze entirely and then he walked away. "See ya guys" said Zac to the group as well and he chased after Lucas. "Hey Lucas wait up" said Zac when he caught up to Lucas between the trailers "we need to talk." "No thanks Zac leave me alone" said Lucas as he continued to walk. Zac managed to catch up with Lucas and he grabbed his arm. Zac was very surprise when Lucas made a sharp spin and punched him in the stomach making Zac fall to his knees. "Oww..." said Zac breathlessly "what... was...that...for?" "I said leave me alone" said Lucas turning around again. "Wait" said Zac with as much volume as he could muster. "No" said Lucas "how about you go find your little girlfriend Vanessa and you two go be the perfect little couple that everyone knows you are? Stay away from me the only times I want to see you are during a scene." "Lucas, man come on" said Zac as he regained his breath. "I said no Zac we aren't friends anymore" said Lucas and he walked away and entered his trailer a few doors down. Zac wished he could storm off in the other direction but his trailer of course was next to Lucas'. Zac picked up his stuff and made his way to his trailer luckily from this direction he didn't have to pass Lucas' trailer. "Hey Zac" said Corbin as Zac walked in. "Hey Corbes" said Zac "I see you've helped yourself to my PS3 and my chips and soda." "Of course man it's the least you owe me for not hanging out with me or really talking to me for like six months" said Corbin looking up at Zac as if he'd seen a ghost. "Well I was a little busy" said Zac "Oh yeah I heard something about that" said Corbin happy to be having a real conversation with Zac instead of the one liners he'd been getting for months "is any of that stuff about you and Vanessa true." "Of course not" Zac lied. "Oh cool" said Corbin. "Wait I've seen you since I've been back" said Zac "why are you just asking now?" "Oh... well... you just seemed like a zombie" said Corbin "like you weren't all there. I mean you must have really pissed of Lucas `cause he's been bad mouthing you to anyone who will listen." "Oh really" said Zac "I'll have to talk to him." "Uh, yeah" said Corbin "so what changed with the whole zombie act?" "Oh well me and Vanessa were fighting" said Zac "but we patched it all up." "Cool so what do you want to do today?" Corbin asked. "Well Vanessa and I are supposed be doing scenes till ten apparently" said Zac picking up his itinerary. "That blows man" said Corbin "how long do you have before you need to leave?" "About an hour just enough time to go talk to Lucas" said Zac "right after I get dressed for the scene." ------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's the new chapter I hope you like it sorry about the long wait I've been working on this chapter nonstop trying to get it right I hope I did. Next chapter is the big two zero so I wanted to make sure I could get this chapter to set up all the big stuff that is going to go down in the next one.
