Subject: Curiosity part 1

This is a work of fiction. The characters exist only in the author's
imagination. This is a gay love story and may contain explicit descriptions
of sex between consenting men; if this offends you, is illegal where you
are, or you are too young, then you shouldn't read it.

This is my first attempt at a story like this, I'd appreciate feedback. My

Thanks, and enjoy :)

Rain pummelled down from the drenched clouds like bullets from
their chambers, hitting the ground with a splash. A lot of people had
prepared themselves for the rain that early, cold morning. Making sure they
had their umbrellas and coats but there was the odd person that had been
foolish to not bring any of those. Like the boy at the bus stop for
example. He stood there, obviously waiting for a bus, drenched and
shivering from the coldness that enveloped him. 'Damn rain' he thought to
himself. He looked up at the dark grey sky with his sea blue eyes half
closed and lowered his eyes again. 'Where the hell is Rhianna' he asked
himself, glancing up the street half expecting to see a short girl with an
umbrella prodding along which he knew would be Rhianna. But there was
no-one there. 'She's going to miss the bus'. He closed his eyes and just
listened to all that went on around him, every now and then hearing a car
in the distance. Times like these he would just want to sit at his Piano
and hit the keys, knowing full well that they'd calm him down.
As he continued to listen out for the bus he noticed the rain had
stopped, but somehow, he could still hear it. He opened his eyes and jumped
back when he saw Rhianna smiling up at him.
"Hey, Kai," she said with her soft, sweet voice "looking a bit wet
there aren't you, have you grown again, because my arm is already hurting
holding this umbrella above your head." She smiled sweetly. Kaiden couldn't
help smile back. He slowly grasped the umbrella and held it, making sure he
covered her too.
"Here, I can hold it." he told her as she let go. He smiled at her
again thinking how lucky he was to have a friend like her. How he loved
Rhianna, in a friendly way of course. They had been friends for years,
since their first day at high school together. Now, in college, they both
studied the same thing, Music, which was both their true passions. Rhianna
played the Violin and Cello, she preferred strings to percussion, even
though she did like the Piano.
"Fine, but you better not be making fun of my shortness." She said,
with a grin on her face. Rhianna was about five foot, maybe one inch, which
left her looking upto to almost everyone in the college. Kaiden wasn't
really tall himself, standing five foot nine inches himself, but he
couldn't hide the fact that Rhianna did make him feel tall.
"Of course not Rhi, would I ever do that to you?" Kaiden replied
sarcastically with a laugh. "Anyway, how come your so late, I thought you
were going to miss the bus." Kaiden asked. He knew he had to change the
subject from her shortness, otherwise he'd get a slap. Not a hard slap,
Rhianna wasn't mean, but enough to inflict a bit of pain, which made
Rhianna feel better.
"Urgh, don't get me started. My alarm clock broke last night and my
mum was supposed to wake me up. But no, she didn't. Charlie ended up waking
me up. He only woke me up 'cause he wanted food. Damn dogs. So anyway, I
got up and started the shower, I still had enough time to have one, but
then the water didn't turn warm for some reason. So I just had to wash,
dress and go. But no, it wasn't that easy, my mum didn't do the ironing so
my school clothes were all creased. Me and my luck." She explained, sighing
at the end of the sentence. Kaiden just nodded and 'mmm'd' all the way
through, not wanting to tip her over the edge with annoyance.
"Awwh, Rhi. Come here." Kaiden said as he put one arm around her,
still holding the umbrella in his other.
"Kai, your wet!" She screamed, pushing Kaiden's arm away and wiping
her sleeve to get the water off, only making it worse. "Oh well," she
sighed with a little giggle, Kaiden knew she couldn't help laughing at some
things Kaiden did, "I love you Kai, but you can be a real idiot,
sometimes." She laughed, making Kaiden laugh too. He admired Rhianna so
much, she could mouth off to anyone, but she knew her limits. She was a
pretty girl, one of those naturally pretty people. She had pale skin which
sometimes made her look a little ill with her natural jet black hair which
was cut into layers and naturally straight which she always put in a
ponytail. She wore no make-up apart from mascara. She had chocolate brown
eyes and a cute button nose with very faint freckles that you could only
see from close-up, with dark red lips.
"But I'm your idiot," Kaiden told her smiling his innocent smile.
He glanced up the street after seeing something move, "bus is here, come
on." He informed her, walking over to the pavement edge, making sure to
still cover Rhianna with the umbrella. The bus stopped beside them and
Kaiden closed the umbrella and gave it a shake. He gave it back to Rhianna
and ushered her onto the bus, "Laides first." he muttered and got onto the
bus himself, following Rhianna down the isle. She sat down about 5 rows up
from the front and moved over to the window, letting Kaiden sit on the isle
side seat.
"So I was thinking, maybe we should start a band or something. You
can sing, play the piano, I can sing, play the Violin, or Cello, and all we
need is a drummer. And I'm sure Alex wouldn't mind being a drummer for us,
he's really good and if we wanted a guitarist, Zoey can do that," Rhianna
said "even though she's still in the learning stages, but she's still
really good." She told Kaiden. Kaiden gulped, as soon as he had heard the
name 'Alex' he had blanked Rhianna out fully. It was no secret that Kaiden
was gay, but it was a secret that he had the hots for Alex. Alex was a tall
guy, standing at six foot, that could play the drums. He had tan skin with
black hair which was dyed. He had emerald green eyes that Kaiden sometimes
got lost in. His nose was straight with a kind of flick at the end of
it. He had red lips that sometimes Kaiden wanted to touch, they looked so
inviting. He was one of those guys that were put into the emo/goth
category, but he wasn't at all. He was really funny, laid back and he gave
an aura of comfiness to alot of people that were around him. He worked out
a little and had some nice muscles, but they weren't bulging, which Kaiden
liked. He hated body builders, they looked plastic and weird in those
bikini things they wore. But Alex had the perfect sized muscles, not too
big, but not to scrawny either.
All of a sudden, Kaiden was knocked from his trance when Rhianna
punched him, quite hard, on the arm.
"Kaiden Jay Thomas! Are you even listening to a word I'm saying?"
She asked with a face that spelled 'annoyed'. She deliberatly used his full
name to let him know she was annoyed.
"Umm, yes of course I am." Kaiden replied, trying not to let his
voice waver. He thought he succeeded.
"Then what did I just say?" Rhianna asked with a knowing smile. She
knew full well that Kaiden had ignored her, but she loved to prove it.
"Umm, you know. Band, Alex... Alex. Erm. Oh fine, I wasn't
listening, I'm just tired this morning, that's all." He replied. He wanted
to just tell Rhianna how he felt about Alex, but then that would give her a
come-back when he made fun of her short gene.
"What's up, Kai? Something on your mind. You know you can tell me."
Okay, that was a bit of a surprise coming from Rhianna. He already knew he
could tell her anything, but it was more of a fact of embarrasment. He knew
that if he told her, she'd wind him up about it, but maybe she'd know her
limits, like she did with everyone. Maybe she wouldn't even wind him up,
but that was quite unlikely. Kaiden did know though that he did need to
tell someone, but was Rhianna the right person to tell it to? Could he
really tell her, or was she just looking for gossip, even though Kaiden
knew it wouldn't be for gossip, because he knew Rhianna wasn't like that at
all.
"I'm just a little tired, that's all, Rhi," knowing full well she
wouldn't believe this, he needed to distract her from the subject, "anyway,
what was it about the band?" He asked her, trying to remain casual. She
explained again about the band idea, she hadn't noticed Kaiden's
distraction, or maybe she did, but told herself not to push, as she was
good at telling when someone had had enough. "Yeah, that sounds cool,
should we ask them today?" Kaiden asked. Zoey was a rock kind of girl, she
was funny and Kaiden had rarely seen her without a smile on her face. She
had bright blue eyes, which looked nice behind her black framed, stylish,
spec-saver glasses, which she only really needed for reading but wore them
almost all the time. She had dyed red hair with a side fringe that would
cover her right eye, but she usually used her glasses as a blocker, so her
hair just sat atop the glasses instead. She had a light skin tone that
never seemed to change no matter how long she spent in the sun. She had a
crooked nose, but it didn't really look odd. She wore little make-up, like
Rhianna, but she did use it everyday. She wore mascara and dark green
eyeliner which made her eyes stand out a bit more, a tiny bit of light
foundation with a tiny bit of blush and a pale lip-gloss. Okay, some people
would say it was alot, but it wasn't near enough as much as what proper
make-up lovers wear, you know, the ones with orange faces and blonde
barbie-like hair. Zoey was tall, a little taller than Alex, standing at six
foot 1 inch. Rhianna had told Kaiden that she sometimes got neck cramp from
looking up at Zoey, that Kaiden, obviously, laughed at, which resulted in a
slap.
"We can ask them today if you want. Maybe we could go to lunch the
four of us and talk about it or something. What do we have first period?"
Rhianna asked, looking up at Kaiden. Kaiden grabbed for his bag, opened it
and rummaged through for his time-table. He finally found it after numerous
sighs for Rhianna and her telling him to sort his bag out. He looked at the
time-table and looked for first period.
"Monday, nine o' clock," he muttered, using his finger to find the
class. "We have Music Theory, then Music in Society, then lunch." He said,
folding his time-table up and chucking it back into his bag, with all the
other pieces of paper. No doubt they were mostly lead sheets or some theory
work that Kaiden had completed.
"Great, we have to listen to Rob going on about why music is
important in the society. Who the hell cares, it just is." She laughed. Rob
was our Music in Society lecturer, who played Clarinet. He wasn't much to
look at, he wore big round glasses and had grey hair. He had pale blue eyes
and a straight nose, faint pink lips and when he smiled he had dimples,
just like Alex, which were the only cute thing about Rob really. He was a
meaty man, but it looked good on him, it suited him well. If only he'd use
some grey remover and change his glasses, he'd look really cute in Kaiden's
opinion. Another thing that annoyed Kaiden about Rob was that he was so
boring. His voice always stayed the same boring tone, but he did smile so
it wasn't too bad.
"I agree. I'm sure we've heard him ask the same question at least
fifty times. 'Why is music important in society?' is he trying to drill it
into our heads or something because quite frankly, I think he's drilled way
too deep." Kaiden said sarcastically.
For the next twenty minutes, Rhianna and Kaiden talked and laughed
about college, friends, crushes (which did not involve Alex) and the
weekend just gone. The bus pulled into a bus station where Kaiden and
Rhianna got off. College was a five minute walk from the bus station, but
on the way they stopped into a food shop. Kaiden got a cheese and ham
sandwich and Rhianna got a salad sandwich, claiming to be watching her
weight. They exited the shop and carried on walking towards the
college. When they got to the college gates, it was about 8:48am and the
entrance to the Performing Arts section was getting a little
crowded. Kaiden and Rhianna made their way upto Theory and stood outside
the door, with a few other classmates that Kaiden rarely talked to. He
loved the class he was in, because he knew everyone knew about his
sexuality and he knew they all accepted him too because they never seemed
to be uncomfy around him. Kaiden wasn't one of those really feminine gay
guys, he was actually quite masculine with a slight feminine side.
"I'm gonna go to the toilet," Kaiden said to Rhianna "be back in a
min." He said and walked away hearing Rhianna say 'Okay'. He entered the
boys toilets and did his business in the urinal, being a slight clean freak
he headed to the sinks and soaped up his hands and looked in the mirror at
himself.
As he stared at himself he took notice of his features. His sea
blue eyes and straight nose with the slightest dip, kind of like a
ski-slope. He had dark blond hair which was sticking to his face because he
was still a bit wet. He shook his hair like a dog and messed it up a
little. He had red lips which had never been kissed, to Kaiden's
unfortunate bad luck. He was thin and to himself, he thought he wasn't a
bad looker. His pupils looked quite big. Years ago, his mum thought he had
been taking drugs, but due to a recent optical check-up the optician told
Kaiden's mother that people with blue, or light, coloured eyes usually have
bigger pupils than other people, and that they wouldn't stay big. He told
her that pupils always adjusted their size depending on how much light hit
them. Kaiden had even discovered that big pupils look more attractive and
people feel more comfy when they stare into eyes that have big pupils and a
more recent discovery, the reason they dimmen the lights in romantic
restaurantes is because dim light will make them grow bigger and they look
more attractive. 'Clever' Kaiden thought to himself.
He heard the door to the toilets open and then close. He didn't
look back at who it was and just stared back down at his hands, making sure
to wash them properly. He jumped when something touched his bum. He spun
around and saw Alex standing there with a smirk on his face.
"Hey, Kai, did I scare you?" He asked laughing. Kaiden's heart was
pounding, he could feel his cheeks burning and he knew he was turning
red. He smiled a little.
"Fuck you, Alex. I'm gonna get you back for that." Kaiden
laughed. He knew Alex only touched his bum to tease him because
unfortunately, Alex was straight and just liked to wind Kaiden up a
little. Kaiden sighed a little and headed over to the hand dryer.
"Sorry dude, but I gotta admit, you got a nice ass." He said in his
sexy, husky voice. Kaiden looked at him trying to think of something to
say. Alex winked, which made Kaiden blush a little. Kaiden though of
something to say, which would probably make Alex think twice about touching
his bum again.
"You shouldn't do that, it turns me on." Kaiden told him, winking
at the end of the sentence and even licking his lips a little. The thing
that surprised Kaiden the most is that Alex kept his stance, kept the same
look on his face and didn't even break eye contact. Kaiden turned around
and pushed the button to start the dryer. He heard a little mumble and spun
his head around to look at Alex. "What?" he asked a little louder to cut
through the noise of the dryer.
"Nothing." Alex said with another one of those smirks on his
face. Kaiden turned back around and rubbed his hand together to make them
dry when he felt Alex hands cup both his ass cheeks. Kaiden heart pounded,
he froze in place, not wanting to move and just to leave Alex's hands
there. Alex was now squeezing Kaiden's ass cheeks. Kaiden gulped and closed
his eyes. He was enjoying Alex's hands there, but why was Alex doing this,
maybe he was just having a little fun. Kaiden knew he wasn't gay, or not
even bi. Maybe he was just horny. The dryer cut out and there was silence
in the room. Kaiden moaned a little, still with his eyes closed. He leant
back against Alex's chest, he didn't want to freak Alex out, so he just
stayed there for a moment.
"Why are you doing this?" Kaiden asked in a soft voice. He wasn't
sure if he was happy or annoyed about what Alex was doing. He could have
been happy because his biggest crushes hands were groping his ass, but
annoyed because he knew Alex probably wouldn't go further, or would he?
"I dunno, but I kinda like it." Alex said, with an awkward
laugh. His hands moved to Kaiden's hips and slowly started moving up,
passing Kaiden's rib cage. Alex's hands went passed Kaiden's armpits and
glided down his arms to the tips of Kaiden's fingers.
"Okay, stop. We need to get to class." Kaiden sighed as he said
this, what he would give to carry on, he knew it wouldn't have gone alot
further. But Kaiden had patience, if Alex really wanted that, he'd come to
Kaiden again. This way, Kaiden wouldn't get his hopes up. He moved away
from Alex and put his hand on the door-handle.
"Yeah, your right. Sorry, I got a little carried away," Alex gulped
a little, "let's head to class." He finally said and followed Kaiden out
into the hallway. They talked a little on the way to class and met Rhianna
and Zoey outside the class.
After about a minute, Debbie, our theory lecturer opened the door
and let us in. Debbie was a short, thin woman with olive coloured eyes. She
had a pretty, heart-shaped face that most of the boys in the class
loved. One thing was odd about Debbie, she absolutely hated gum-chewers in
her class, but Kaiden had never seen her without gum in her own mouth. She
wasn't strict, but she knew how to handle things. She was also funny, so
theory class was always a good lecture.
Kaiden took a seat in the back of the class. Zoey sat at the end of
the row, then Rhianna, then Kaiden and surprisingly, Alex sat next to
Kaiden. He winked at Kaiden and stared back at Debbie who was beginning the
lesson.
After 2 hours, the lesson was up. All through the lesson, Alex had
brushed against Kaiden's leg. It felt quite deliberate to Kaiden. 'What's
he upto' Kaiden thought to himself.
The four of them headed to Music in Society together and Rob was
already there. Rhianna and Zoey sat at the back of the class, but Kaiden
had an idea.
"I'm gonna sit a little closer to the board, it gets a bit blury
back here." He told Rhianna and Zoey, to which they replied 'Okay'. Kaiden
chose a seat in about the middle on the room hoping his plan would
work. After two minutes, Alex entered the room and his eyes shot to the
back row. He stopped in his tracks and looked a little confused. He scoped
the room and his eyes met Kaiden. He smiled, walked over and sat next to
Kaiden. His plan had worked, he wondered if Alex would have sat next to
him, and he did.
"So, how come your down here." Alex asked, with a little confused
look. But Kaiden was in for another test.
"Oh, I thought the board was blury from back there, but it looks
fine, so I'll go sit with those two." Not even waiting for a reply from
Alex, he got up and sat next to Zoey. And sure enough, Alex
followed. 'Okay, what's going on' Kaiden thought. The lesson started, but
Kaiden didn't listen to a word Rob said, his boring voice almost put Kaiden
to sleep and he was sure to not be the only one.
After class, the four of them made their way down to lunch, as the
ate, they talked about the possibilities of creating a band together, they
all agreed it would be a good idea.
"You and Kai have lush voices, Rhi, so you two could be the
singers." Zoey said to Rhianna. Zoey was really sweet, but Kaiden really
didn't think he had a nice voice, he loved to sing, but didn't think he
sounded good at all, but he accepted the fact that others did think he was
good and just left it at that.
"Uhh, thanks Zoey, you have a good voice too." Kaiden said
honestly. He had heard Zoey sing once and she truly was good, but she
didn't like to sing in front of people, which was a shame.
"What about me?" Alex asked, a little offended. "People said I can
sing too." He said, looking a little upset.
"Yeah, you do have a nice voice Alex, but wouldn't it be kinda hard
to sing whilst being a drummer?" Kaiden asked. "I mean, try beating on some
drums whilst singing, I would have though it'd be hard, unless you had good
voice control like... I dunno... Pink?" Kaiden explained.
"I suppose your right, Kai. But maybe if we do a slow song with no
drums, I could sing too. Me and you can harmonize, Kai." He asked with a
smile.
All through lunch they talked about music and the band they were
going to make. They needed a name and Zoey told everyone to think of names
throughout the week.
"I swear I have a womans bladder, I need to take a piss again."
Kaiden said, getting up and heading towards the toilets. He glanced behind
him and Alex was following him.
"I may as well take one too." He said with a smirk on his
face. They entered the toilets and headed towards the urinals. Kaiden
wasn't nervous about Alex seeing his dick, but he kinda wanted him to. He
unbuttoned his jeans and unzipped. He tucked his thumbs beneath the
wasteband of his boxers and pulled down his boxers a little, revealing his
uncut dick. Kaiden was about three inches soft and almost 7 inches when
erect. He noticed Alex glance over and Kaiden risked a glance at Alex's
dick. Alex's dick must have been about 3 inches soft too, it looked similar
in size to Kaiden's. Kaiden finished and walked over to the sinks, soaping
up his hands and washing them thouroughly. Alex did the same. As Kaiden was
about to leave the room he heard Alex say something.
"Wait, Kai..." He said quietly. Kaiden turned around and looked at
Alex, waiting for him to say something.
"What is it?" Kaiden asked casually. He tried to prepare himself
for what was going to coming out of Alex's mouth.
"I've been... I've been having these weird feelings. I don't know
why, but I feel like I want you, Kai." He said slowly, stuttering every now
and then. Kaiden couldn't believe what he just heard. 'Alex feels like he
wants me?' he asked himself. There was no mistaking what Alex had just
said. Then it hit Kaiden like a punch to the face, he knew Alex was
joking. He must have been.
"Alex, if your joking, it's not funny..." Kaiden stared at
Alex. Alex was staring at the floor.
"I'm not, Kai. I've been having feelings for you, like I want to
kiss you. I don't think I'm gay, or bi, but I'm just confused, maybe it's
all down to curiosity, but sometimes your the last thing I think about
before going to bed." He told Kaiden. Kaiden couldn't believe it. He must
be dreaming. He wanted to run to Alex and melt in his arms, but he knew, it
wasn't that easy. If he was going to do anything, he needed to be patient
with Alex, otherwise it could be very overwhelming.
"Umm. I don't really know what to say." He moved a couple of steps
closer to Alex. Alex kept his eyes on the floor, but then watched Kaiden's
feet. "I guess... If your upto it... I don't want to pressure you, but I
guess we could kiss now, and we'll see if you like it or not. But I warn
you, I've never kissed anyone before." Kaiden explained. He was really
hoping Alex would say yes.
"Would you do that for me, Kai? I don't want to take your first
kiss from you and me not like it or something." Alex replied. Whoa, Kaiden
never knew Alex could be quite thoughtful like that. But Kaiden didn't
really care, he'd give anything just to touch those lips of Alex's. He
moved closer and closer, and now in arms reach of Alex. He cupped Alex's
chin with his first finger and thumb and slowly leant in.
"Just relax, Al. I hope you like it." And with that, Kaiden's lips
were on Alex's.
