Subject: Helping Nick Realize, Part 1

Hey guys! This is another story about Nick, the guy that I have this MAJOR
crush on. (Read "Warming Up Nick" too.) Again, this story is based on real
people but not necessarily real events. I leave it up to your imaginations
to decide where the fiction begins. I think it's more fun for both of us
that way. =)

Positive and negative feedback is always welcome (especially the positive!).

where you live or dislike reading about consenting sexual activity between
two men, stop here.

For those that haven't read the other story about Nick, here's some
background again. Nick is a fellow student in the education program at the
large university that I attend. He is in English education while I, as you
may have guessed from the profile, am in Mathematics Education.
Unfortunately, this means that I don't get to see him as often as I'd like
to. Fortunately, this means that I am more able to concentrate on my
schoolwork.

I've had a crush on Nick (and thought he's gay) since I first laid eyes on
him about 10 months ago, last January. I was already seated in the class
that we had together when he walked in and made my day.

Nick is also interested in theater. Last spring he was in a play in which he
was topless for part of the time and not terribly well covered the rest of
the time. (Oh, damn.) This fall he was in another play in which he was
topless for an all-to-brief scene (yet long enough that I went back and saw
it a second night) and was basically in a toga the rest of the time he was on
stage (though never for long enough).

Well, after the play I went up to Nick and said congratulations on a great
job and he thanked me for the gift (I sent him "Great job" and "Happy
birthday" flowers that got delivered the second day of the play.) Then I
found some friends and we did the typical gay people at a play
thing--discussed who in the cast and crew we thought was gay and who was
(unfortunately) not. Well, naturally Nick was discussed because of his
ambiguity and fantastic looks.

To give the description of Nick, he's about 5'10, 165 pounds, short blondish
hair, and a body that can best be described as sculpted. His body is not
waifish nor like that of an offensive lineman but lean, sleek and muscular,
with not a hair on his chest visible from more than a few feet away. In
other words, he is more perfect that Michaelangelo's David.

Continuing on with the story, after discussing some of the cast members, one
of the guys I was with dared another to go up to Nick and say "I think you're
really cute. Can I have your autograph?" I wasn't going to pass up a chance
to speak to Nick again, so I volunteered to introduce the two. "Nick, Nick.
Nick, Nick," it went since both of them are named Nick. "I think you're
really cute, can I have your autograph?" asked my friend Nick, while I tried
somewhat successfully to stifle laughter. Now, it is really not news to
anyone that I want Nick--badly, so when I introduced a friend and he asked
Nick this (which, I may add, he happily obliged--what a cool guy!) it is most
likely assumed that my friend is gay. Nick is either very accepting
(straight, not narrow), or himself gay....we can all hope, can't we?

Now, in discussing the cast members, we asked a cast member who we know to be
gay (he heads the coming out support group--pretty good clue) and he said
there was a long story behind Nick. I called the gay cast member, Tony, up
Sunday night and he said that he still wasn't sure after working closely with
Nick for two months. More to follow--maybe I'll just make this a diary of my
obsession. Sheesh, that can't be healthy! =)
