Subject: Jason's Journey to Discover Himself Chapter 1 (Revised)

As Jason was sitting in the classroom, his mind was wandering as usual,
then with the snap of a finger he was interrupted by Mrs. Moore his Math
teacher.

"Jason, I asked you a question, what's the answer?"

"Oh! Sorry, Mrs. Moore, it's 17."

Everyone in the classroom laughed because Jason had a habit of doing this
and always seemed to have an answer, which he got right, the bell rang, and
class was over. "Man Jay, what's going on with you dude," Matt asked
Jason. Matt was one of Jason long time friends and classmates. He was about
5"8 160lbs and had the build of a soccer player, Caucasian, curly black/
brown hair and brown eyes. "Nothing Matt, Just thinking about College and
wondering what is going to take place for those long four years." After
Jason had gone to his last class of the day he, went home and figured he
would stay in for the night and the weekend since he had a long week and
very long last weekend of traveling from the track meet finals.

Jason was a very outgoing, ambitious, and extremely driven guy who just
loved life and the people that were in his. He was 5"7 and weighed around
142/145 lbs. He was African American, with perfect straight white teeth and
the build between a swimmer, baseball player and long distance runner, in
which he was and a damn good runner at that. There was not a drop of fat on
Jason's body, and he always kept his body in great shape. His hair stayed
cut short with legs to die for and not to mention an ass that just keeps
those girl's eyes turning anytime he walked past!

To be honest, Jason never looked at getting or even having a girlfriend at
the time. He was always focused on his school work and running track and
cross country for his High School. Besides, the guy was a 3-time state
champion in cross country and 3-time state champion at the 1 mile (1600
meters) in track and field. He was looking to snag his 4th and final titles
next year! It was late May, so he had time to prepare. Coming off of a big
state championship win in the 1 mile, and the 4x 800m relay still made him
feel on cloud 9, but he always had a nagging and weird feeling that
wouldn't leave his mind and heart. It just made him feel alone.

As Monday rolled around Jason was heading to school on his road bike when
Matt drove up beside him! "Yo Jason, what's going on this Monday Morning!"
"Nothing new man, just headed to school like everyone else goofy.' "Alright
Jay, I know I seem to be on the happy side this morning but I just got a
letter that I haven't opened from UCLA dude!" Jason stopped his bike, and
Matt did as well, with Jason looking at him in disbelief.

"What, the hell dude, why the hell haven't you opened that letter?" Jason
yelled. "Because I'm nervous as shit and hate to be disappointed," Matt
said. "Well, I will do it then" as Jason quickly took the letter, opened it
and started to read. Matt had a face of a shocked person as Jason quickly
started to read.

"Dear Matthew blah, blah, blah, we want to send you congratulations on your
acceptance."

Before Jason could go on reading, Matthew started to flip a wig. "Holly
shit, dude I got accepted to fucking UCLA, and Jason started to laugh and
gave his good friend a big hug.

They both then finished their ride to school all the while Matthew looking
in disbelief and Jason still laughing because of how his friend was
reacting. After parking their bikes and walking to class Matthew could not
help but stop in the middle of the courtyard and scream out loud, "I just
got accepted to fucking UCLA baby, oooowwwwwhh!" Everyone started to laugh
and cheer Matt.

As both friends left and said their goodbye's heading off to class, Jason
had to make a piss stop. As he was going to the restroom, he heard a voice
coming from behind him.

"Excuse me, can you tell me where Advance Biology Lab 301 is?"

"Yeah and as a matter of fact, I'm headed there," Jason said as he was
talking and turning around to see who he was talking to.

But when he saw what was in front of him, Jason literally lost his train of
thought. Here in front of him was a 5'7 Caucasian man that looked to weight
about 170 lbs.

He had a sort of a short blondish brown hair cut that had the top of the
cut with a little more hair gelled up in the form of an upside down V. His
body def told Jason that this guy had to be a baseball player, soccer
player or gymnast. He wasn't exactly tan but wasn't too pale either and had
a strong jaw line. To top it off Jason even notice the jeans this guy was
wearing wasn't too tight and wasn't to saggy and fit him just perfect,
which told him that he must have a great back side. But why was he thinking
all this?

"Hum, let me take a piss, I mean use the restroom, and you can walk over
with me, that ok,"

Jason ask as he stumbled the words out of his mouth?"

"Haha, dude no worries on the verbal language, go take your piss and I will
wait out here for you."

Jason went and took his piss and came out. The guy was waiting on him, and
they started off to the classroom. "Sorry man, my name is Jason, yours?"
"Names, Randy, just moved here from Cali." Wow, man, that's some move. What
brings you here to Seattle Washington? Jason asked. "Well Jason, my parents
relocated here for work but the main reason they wanted to come out here
was because of me and wanted me to join one of the best track and field
programs in the country." Jason looked at him in awe.

Seriously Randy, you're shitting me man; I'm on the Track team and run the
mile! We do have an awesome team and always look for some great talent man,
what do you run?"

"Well, first off I seen your picture at the front office and also seen that
you are Washington State's 5k Cross Country and Track and Field Champion
for 1600 meters three years running, so that's very impressive. Second, I'm
a 200m, 400m runner and to be on this team here to help you guys and also
get some colleges to look at me and hope to get a scholarship, would be
awesome." Before the last bell rang, both guys laughed as they were walking
to Biology, and Jason stopped and Randy turned around.

"Randy, just how good are you man?" Jason asked.

Randy turned around and looked at Jason and said "let's just say we are
tied with state titles, with the exception of me not running cross
country." Jason smiled and told randy that they will be a dominate team and
hard to beat. With that, both went into class.

As the day went on Jason met up with Matthew in the courtyard, and Randy
was walking with him. "Hey Matt, this in Randy, and he just moved here from
California and new to the area." "Wow man, nice to meet you, you moved out
so late in the year and schools almost out."

Randy went to explain that his parent had new jobs here, and they also
wanted him to get a good scholarship for Track. Matthew also told him that
he got accepted to UCLA in Cali and Randy congratulated him. As the year
soon rounded to its end, all three guys began hanging out more and
more. Matthew focused more and more on leaving Seattle and even went as far
as asking his parents if he could transfer high schools to stay with his
mother's sister in Los Angeles to get a jump start. Randy and Jason seemed
to hang out more and more.

When school finally ended Matt convince his parents to let him moved early
to Cali. Randy and Jason helped him pack and had a fun night out as a
farewell. "Dude I'm really going to miss you," Jason told Matt. "Dude you
better fucking visit and come see me," as both guys looked like they were
going to cry. Jason agreed, and Matthew was off to the airport with his
family to head to LA. When they left, Randy could tell that Jason was
pretty sad, non- talkative and down that one of his best friends would be
leaving for a very long time and wouldn't see him for a while. When both
Randy and Jason were walking back to get a ride on the local bus line to go
home, Randy stopped Jason. "Hey man, give me a sec and let me make a phone
call." Randy stepped off to the side and came back after he got off his
cellular phone. "Hey, I just got off the phone with my parent's man and
figured that it would be awesome to have you come over and hangout since I
know your pretty down about Matt leaving. Just want to cheer you up if that
ok? We got plenty of food, movies, pool and a super big movie screen T.V."

"Sure man that sound awesome," as Jason told Randy, but Randy could tell
Jason was still sad. Then Randy walks up to Jason and out of the blue, gave
him a big hug. "Jay, I know it's hard when someone as important a Matt
leaves but just know that I'm here for ya buddy." When randy did that,
shocking sensation ran through his body, and he loved it! But he wondered
why. Jason played it off as if he didn't have these strange feelings of
being drawn to another guy, and returned the hug and said thanks. They both
got on the max line and headed to Jason's house to grab some things since
he was staying over at Randy's then they were off to Randy's house.

Thanks for reading guys! This will be a great story, and I have added some
of my life experiences in the story, so some of it is, in fact, true, but
won't tell, unless you actually email me and ask Lol. Please give some
feedback on how you like it as this will be a pretty long story that goes
from Jason being a junior in high school back in 1998 to Present time.

Thanks again and let me know if you have any new ideas?!! I'm not an author
so there may be some mistake, but bear with me, I will try to have new
chapters every week or 2 week.

Again email me with questions at skeeter.stephens@gmail.com

Thanks!
