Subject: A High School Tale Chapter 1 High School

The final moments of the high school wrestling practice found all of the
members of the team craving the welcoming steamy showers of the locker room.
The coach always rode the young men hard as he tried to shape his wrestlers
into a team of hard bodied dynamos. Of course there were a few members of
the team that seem to stand out. One of these players was Carson Andrews. He
just turned 16 and his body was a fined tuned machine. He took great pride
in keeping his body fit, watching his diet, and making sure he didn't gain
any unnecessary weight. He was 5'11" tall and weighed in at 170lbs. His
body was quite muscular and his skin was blemish free. His legs were his
favorite thing he liked about his body. They were powerful and always gave
him the advantage over his opponent. The rest of his body was just as fit
as his legs. He worked hard and was proud of his accomplishments.

The final whistle blew and the weary wrestlers started toward the doors of
the locker room.

Carson was entering the doors as he was stopped by his coach's voice.

"Andrews, I need to see you in my office. See me after your shower."

Carson groaned, "Yes coach."

As he peeled off his tight singlet Carson had a good idea what the
conversation was going to be about. He had been struggling in his biology
and Spanish classes. He dreaded the meeting with his coach but knew he had
to face the music. After his shower he slowly dressed. He enjoyed his body
and his clothes reflected that. He slipped into a black tight lycra short
sleeve Under Armour shirt and a pair of blue denim jeans that hugged him in
all the right places. He said good bye to some of his team mates as he
made his way to the coaches office. He entered to see the coach going over
some paper work. The coach looked up and gestured toward the chair that was
in front of his desk.

"I'm sure you know what this is about Andrews."

Carson nodded, "Yeah, I can take a guess."

The coach produced a file folder from his desk drawer. "You're failing two
classes. Spanish and biology." The coach looked at him over his reading
glasses. "If you don't pull these grades up I'll be forced to drop you from
the team. You're one of my best wrestlers Carson. I'd hate to do that."

Carson squirmed in the chair. "I know coach. " He shook his head as he
willed back the tears. "I'll try harder."

The coach's eyes softened as he saw the boy's face. "Listen, the school has
a tutorial program. There are other students that earn extra credit for
helping students who are struggling. It's not going to be easy but I think
this is your only option. You have to get these grades up. If you don't
you will be dropped from the team and any chance of a scholarship will be
gone. " The coached handed him a piece of paper with information about the
tutoring program. "Go to the school office and sign up for the program. "

The prospect of losing his only chance to attend college was like a slap in
the face. His mother didn't have the money to send him to college. It had
been 4 years since his father had lost his battle with cancer. His mother,
Carson, and his little brother , Parker were all they had.

Carson stood up to leave. "Thanks coach." He smiled as he stood.

"Just get those grade up," the coach also stood and shook Carson's hand.

Ignacio Sanchez or Iggy to his friends and family made his way from his last
class of the day. He was excited that it was finally Friday. He looked
forward to his weekends. He came from a large family. He had two sisters
and two brothers. Being the oldest put a little added responsibility on his
shoulders but he really didn't mind. He was making his way to the school
office to turn in his application for the tutorial program. His Spanish
teacher had suggested that he try the program. He was fluent in Spanish and
the extra credit would look good on his college application. Iggy was a
straight "A" student. He enjoyed school and soaked up his lessons like a
sponge. He was walking quickly. His 5'6" body was smaller than he would
like but he had resigned to the fact that he was done growing. He weighed
140lbs on a good day. His skin was the color of coffee and cream. His brown
eyes could captivate you in his intense stare. His body was slim but not
really muscular. The girls found him adorable. He had realized that it
wasn't the girls that made his heart flutter. The boys of his high school
caused his heart to thump hard. A little too "hard" sometimes. Yes, he
was a victim of run-away hormones. Looking at a hot guy in school often
left him with a problem that he covered with his book bag.

One of those embarrassing moments happened as he entered the school office.
There standing at the counter was a jock-god. He was wearing a t-shirt that
hugged his upper body like a second skin. His low cut jeans hugged his
legs and his perfect butt. He was wearing his cap backwards with brown
curls sticking out. Suddenly the room felt stuffy. Iggy took a huge breath
trying to settle his heart. 'Gawd, not now' he thought as he felt a
stirring in his jeans. He edged his way up to the counter.

"Is this all I need to fill out?" Carson asked the school secretary Mrs.
Brown

Mrs. Brown looked over the application. "Yes, that's fine Mr. Andrews. So,
you need help in Spanish and Biology?"

"Yes, I'm struggling in both classes."

Iggy smiled, he had aced biology and Spanish. Carson caught the smile and
looked over at Iggy. Iggy was caught up in the bluest eyes he had ever
seen. They were beautiful and seemed to show a little sadness inside. A
little smile emerged on Carson's face and then was gone.

Iggy was having trouble breathing as he returned the smile. He felt the
tightness in his underwear increase. He made sure his bag was in place. He
turned red.

Mrs. Brown continued, "Okay, this is how it works. I'll find a student who
has an open schedule and I'll give him or her your telephone number. They'll
contact you and you can set up a scheduled time to meet. When you meet your
tutor will fill out a progress report. You will turn in your progress
report weekly to me. Do you have any question? "

Carson broke his gaze away from Iggy and turned his attention back to Mrs.
Brown. "No, that's fine. I understand. Thank you Mrs. Brown." He turned
from the counter and left the office.

Mrs. Brown turned her gaze, "How are you Iggy? How can I help you?" She
smiled. She was aware of all the students that were on the honor roll and
Iggy was one of her favorites.

Pulling himself together Iggy turned his attention towards her, "Hi Mrs. B,
I'm here to turn in my application for the tutorial program." He handed her
the paperwork.

"You should have said something. I could have paired you up with Mr.
Andrews. I know that all of your grades are far beyond the required grades
to become a tutor. " She quickly grabbed a sticky note and wrote Carson's
number down. "Here's his

phone number. Call him and set up a time and place to begin your tutoring."

He took the note from her. As he looked at the phone number on the piece of
paper his heart rate began to increase and the tightness in his jeans
started again. He thanked Mrs. Brown and ran towards the exit.
