Haiden Drake Age 16-Cameron's Twin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I fall on to my bed, with the sweat dripping off of me, I know I should go shower but I am wiped out. Cameron and I just finished a brutal workout and a 3 mile run. Nicholas has been running us ragged, I know he means well but damn I am so sore and tired. I sit up on my bed and my door flies open. "Drink this!" Nicholas says handing me that nasty glass of green smoothie. "I'm not drinking that shit!" I tell him. "It's not that bad! Besides you will thank me when.." I cut him off. "I'll thank you when I am on stage and not winded." "Smart ass." He says sitting in a chair. "Thank you though, I know I am in better shape than ever. " I tell him pulling my legs up Indian style. "So this is really it huh?" He asks. "Yeah it is." I tell him as a sense of sadness and relief wash over me. "Can I ask you a personal question?" I nod, "Is this what you really want Grey?" "Nicholas you know me better than anyone else since when have I ever done what anyone else wanted me to do? I do want this, I want more to life, what if I want to go to college or just have a personal life?" "You mean you want a boyfriend and not have to hide him?" He says catching me off guard. "Yeah...you know better than anyone maybe how lonely I am. Cameron has his girlfriend, Haiden has his boyfriend and they can do whatever they want and I am lonely." I tell him. "I know back when Mike and I first got together we broke up several times, being in my field of work I couldn't be out because if I did I would lose clients especially in Hollywood. Hell now every time you look around someone is gay or bisexual. Hell we had many fights and broke up more times than I can count. Then one day it all changed, being gay was more acceptable, and well I have enough money and Mike has an amazing job and I was like fuck what others think I knew I was good at my job as a trainer and if they didn't want a gay man training them then so be it." "You are so amazing, I look up to you a lot." I tell him blushing. "Awe, Grey you big ole sap stop!" "Nicholas I know this might be a lot to ask, but would you be at my last show?" I ask looking up. He gives me a perplexed look, "Yeah, if you want me there I would love to Grey." "I want Mike there too. You have always been a part of my life and it's at Madison Square Garden and I know it's sold out! I've only ever played there once and I didn't sell it out. You have been there from the start." I tell him trying not to get emotional. "We would love to be there, you are my greatest accomplishment you went from being a lazy teenager, to a smart ass performer." He says smiling. I laugh, "Thanks Nicholas." I say. "Now I have to go I will be back next week." He says getting up. "Wait your leaving?" "Yes Mike is getting an award at his job, and plus next week that lazy brother of yours will be back in town! I have my work cut out for me!" I laugh, wait till Zeke hears this he will beg for the tour not to end. "Okay, I'll see you next week!" I tell him. I hear my phone chime and I reach across my bed to grab it, it's a text from Tessa saying to get downstairs. I see Tessa with the bundle of joy in her arms I walk over and look at her baby. "How is he today?" I ask looking up at Tessa. "He is grumpy. How are you?" She says wrapping an arm around my neck. Tess gave birth while I was still on tour, they named him Jonathan. He is so adorable, 'Well I mean have you met his father?" I tease. "Shut up Grey don't go sticking your foot in your mouth!" Dan says walking into the room. I give him a huge hug, "How are you stranger?" I see a wince pass over his face, "I am good but sleepy as hell." I haven't seen much of Dan since he became a father and I am not upset he needs the time off to be with his family. Nick has been a really cool guy, I gave him the week off because honestly I don't need a bodyguard around my house when I don't plan to leave. If I do I'll just go with Cameron and his bodyguard. "Where is Nick?" Dan asks looking around the house. "I gave him the week off." I tell him sitting beside Tessa. "What! Why would you do that?" He says raising his voice. "Dan, I am fine. Look I can take care of myself besides I have taken up kick boxing and taken so many self defense classes that I can protect myself, and I don't think I am going out in public. If I do I make Cameron go with me since he has a bodyguard." I tell him. I see Dan get ready to protest, but Tessa gives him a look. "Okay, but you call me if you want to go out!" "So what brings you both here?" I ask. Tessa pulls out a magazine and tosses it to me, "It's the advanced copy." I look over at it, and there I am sitting on the edge of the pool shirtless with a smile on my face as I strum the guitar. The headline reads "The Prince of Pop's Last Album and the Biggest Tour This Year". "Have you read it?" I ask. "Yes it's a really good article, he didn't try to mess with you in any way." Tessa says. "I bet he didn't." I say looking at her. She smiles, "I might have threatened him a few times but I am a mother and I protect my cubs!" she laughs at this. "Oh did they say when the Video would be up?" I ask. "Actually it should be up when this hits the shelves tomorrow." Tessa says. I see Dan on the phone pacing in the kitchen, "I thought he took time off?" "Grey you really don't know do you?" "Know what Tessa?" I ask. "Someone at the studio leaked that you and Cameron have made an album together. Have you even checked twitter?" She asks. "No, I haven't really messed with my phone for like forever." I tell her. I hit twitter and I instantly get a ton of notifications, I look up and Tessa just kind of laughs at me. "When are you back to work?" I ask laughing. I sit there reading some of the tweets. -OMG Grey and Cameron making an album together I'm crying right now if itz true. -OMG CRYING I lOVE GREY N CAM. This was only some of the tweets I was reading. The hashtag #GREYNCAMALBUM was trending worldwide. I also got a tweet from Ellen asking for confirmation of the album. "What should I do?" I ask Tessa. "I think you should confirm it. I also think you need to tell Cameron." She says. The door opens, and in walks Cameron. "Grey what the hell is going on I just got mobbed by a ton of fans outside the gates, we almost hit a girl!" "Someone leaked information about our album!" I tell him. "Has anyone confirmed it?" He asks. I shake my head, "no I was about to but I wanted to talk to you about it." He smiles, "let's release an Instagram video!" he says digging his phone out. Dan comes in and nods to Cameron, "Nick is on his way back to the house with his girlfriend." "Why? I gave him the week off!" "Well luckily you don't make those decisions I do. He is fine with it, and Cameron where may I ask is your bodyguard?" Cam scratches the back of his head, "About that...." I look over at him, "What?" "I need a new one....I gave him the slip and he got pissy and quit." Dan lets out a sigh, and Tessa laughs. "Do you even have a manager yet?" "No...." Cameron says with a sheepish smile. "What is that look for?" Dan asks. "Well Grey and I were talking, and well after this tour he really won't need one..." "You want me to be your manager?" Dan asks. "Yeah, I mean I have seen what you do with Grey and look at him he's freaking grounded and level headed I really need that. To be honest my last manager was a complete idiot and she was never around." Cameron pleads. He looks over at Tessa and she just smirks, "You were in on this too!" "Well think about it Dan? What are you going to do once Grey is done touring? I will have a job, and I might pick up some more publicist work, and you already know Cameron and can handle him." "Fine, but you do as I say!" Dan says. "Sounds good. Oh we want to make an Instagram Video Tessa can you record on Grey's phone and Dan can you record on mine? So we both have the video!" We are both sitting outside by the pool when we start the video, "So a lot of you have heard that there is an album that Cameron and I made together." I say. "Well it's true! We made one and we will give you all the details soon!" and before I realize it he shoves me and I grab his arm pulling him into the pool with me. We hear Tess and Dan laughing, "I have my hands full." Dan says. I get out of the pool as Haiden makes his way outside, "What's going on?" "Hey brother!" Cam says yelling. "We just did the announcement about the album Cam and I did." "That would explain all the screaming fans when Kevin and I pulled up. Cameron I need to talk to you." He says. Cameron looks over and shrugs. I make my way inside and look at the Instagram video it already has so many likes and comments. I smile to myself I knew this would be the right thing to do. I scroll down through my phone and stop at his name.....before I change my mind I hit call. Kaiden's POV Sitting in my car, I hit my steering wheel, I just got laid off. Turns out the manager had been embezzling and the store is closing. I don't know where it all went wrong, the fact I quit high school to go to work full time, and move in with Jared. That didn't work out at all. He was cheating on me, in fact I came home and he had some other guy in bed with him. I should have known it was going south, when Grey invited us to the concert and he didn't want to go but I did. We fought about it, and then we fought about the fact I had old text messages on my phone from Grey. I have been crashing at Ty's house again, but I just don't know what to do with my life anymore. I am seventeen now and it seems like my life will be going nowhere. I jump at the sound of my phone ringing, I don't even look at it I just answer it trying to hide the fact I am crying at this point. "Hello." "Why are you crying?" The voice on the other end says. "Who is this?" I ask. "Shit sorry I changed my number, it's me." He says. I knew instantly who it was; I never thought I was going to hear from him again, we didn't go to the concert, like I said we fought and it didn't turn out well. That was the first time Jared hit me. "I never thought I would hear from you again, after I didn't show up to your concert." "Yeah what happened with that?" Grey asks. I gulp, "I had to work and I couldn't get it off I tried really hard." "You're lying." Grey says. "No...I'm not." I whisper. "What's wrong Kaiden? Talk to me you used to talk to me all the time." "Is there something you need Grey?" "Yeah I need you to talk to me!" He says. "Well how are you?" I ask. "I am really great actually; I have a new album coming out along with another one with Cameron!" He says. I try to hide a sniffle, "That's good to hear man, I am happy for you." I hear him sigh, "What's wrong Kaiden....please be honest with me." I take a deep breath, "Jared....He wouldn't let me go to the concert I would have been there but he wouldn't let me. He cheated on me, and kicked me out of our apartment....and I just got laid off my job about 10 minutes ago....so yeah life is just great." I tell him and I completely fall apart. I guess saying it all out load makes it real. "Kaiden, I am so so sorry. Is there anything I can do?" He asks. "Not unless you can get me my job back." I say laughing at my own stupid joke. "I miss you Grey." "I miss you too, how is school?" He asks. "I dropped out..." "Why would you do that? You were so damn smart!" He says getting angry. "Jared." I say. "Kaiden, look I am having a full blown North American tour. I can get you on as crew, the pay isn't much but at least I know you would be taken care of." He says. "How much is the pay, and fuck Grey I am sorry I'm sounding like I am just using you for money this isn't what I intended...." I say crying even harder. "It's a grand a week, and free food and board." He says. "Grey, I can't do this to you. Your too good to me, and I have been horrible to you." I say. "Kaiden shut up. I want to do this, you are still important to me. Now look the tour starts in a few weeks you are going to need to get here and sign a bunch of contracts and stuff." He says. "Okay, I'll try to get something set up where I can fly out of?" I ask him. "Don't worry I just booked you a flight I will send you the details and see you tomorrow. I really miss you Kaiden."
