Zeke Anthony Holden Age 15: Grey's half brother.

	Cameron and I finally make it back to the house, and we sit in the
chairs outside.  I woke him up at 4 am to go on a six mile run; it's now
almost 6:30am.  "Dude what the hell is going on with you?" He asks.

	"Kaiden..." I tell him.

	"The Ex?" He asks.

	I nod my head, "He's actually in the house."

	"Oh.....shit." He says looking at me for an explanation.

	"I offered him a job on the tour." I tell him.

	"So he flew out from Kansas just for the job?"

	"He doesn't have a place to live or anything so I have no idea what
he plans to do after the tour is over." I tell him.

	"Dude this doesn't sound good." He says giving me that look.

	"He isn't one to leech off of me man.  He's already told me that
this is strictly business."

	"Then why are you so worked up over him?"

	"I never stopped loving him and it sucks because I found out his ex
was really abusive towards him, and he's just not the person I first fell
in love with."

	Cam pats my shoulder, "give him time man.  It's been awhile since
he's been in your world and let's face it man our world isn't normal and he
probably still loves you he's just scared because of his ex."

	I shake my head, "I don't think he loves me man he pretty much told
me that I can't handle a relationship and he's right. Every time something
came up or got too serious I bailed and ran." I tell him.

	"Yeah but people change and dude you aren't the guy who I first met
back at the press conference.  We got into a huge argument and look at us
now man you are my best friend and we share a house!"

	"Let's go eat I am sure Nicholas will be over soon to do more
work."

	"Actually he isn't he sent a message saying he is sick so he won't
be here for a few days." Cam says.

	"Damn a few free days, but that sucks I hope he is ok." I say as we
head into the house.

	We walk into the back area leading to the kitchen and we smell
food.  On the table is eggs, toast, chopped up fruit and juice laid out for
us.  "Whoa who did all the cooking?" Cam asks.

	"I did." Kaiden says coming out of the kitchen with plates.

	"Hey, I'm Cameron."

	"I know who you are." He says unimpressed.

	"Oh kay then." Cam says.

	I just laugh hard.  "This looks really good Kaiden." I say.

	Cam starts to walk away, "Where are you going?" Kaiden asks.

	"To go shower and then go get breakfast." He says.

	Kaiden looks at me offended, "Is my food not good enough for
Cameron Drake?"

	Cameron stops and turns around, "I didn't know I was invited for
breakfast...."

	"Well yeah I mean this is your house as well."

	Cameron takes a seat next to me, and we wait for Kaiden to sit
until we start eating, "Don't worry Cam, Kaiden is like this to everyone
that is famous." I tell him smiling.
	This gets Kaiden to smile, "Should have seen the first time Grey
asked me to get his water.  I told him I wasn't his butler."

	"I remember that!  All I wanted was for him to pay attention to me
and he wouldn't!" I say.

	"No, I had a job to do, I didn't have time to gawk at some hot
celebrity!" he says.

	We finish up the breakfast and I help to clear the table, "Don't
worry about cleaning them we have a person to come clean the house on a
regular basis."

	Kaiden just rolls his eyes, "Of course you do."

	"It's because we also host a lot of media here." I say getting a
little annoyed with his criticism.

	"I'm going to go get dressed, when do we need to be ready by?"

	I sigh, "Shit I forgot about that, we need to get going soon I am
going to run up and shower."  With that Kaiden takes off up stairs to go
change.

	"What are the two of you up to today?" Cam asks.

	"Contract signing and stuff." I tell him.

	"Ahh sounds fun, I am actually going to go meet up with Haiden."

	"Where is your brother?" I ask.

	He rubs the back of his head, "Well actually he is moving out, and
in with his boyfriend."

	I look at him shocked, "What?  Why?" I ask.

	"Dude he is in love, and we had a nice talk about it.  He wants his
independence from me, for so long he has had to live in the shadow of his
twin brother.  I get that he wants his own life and he is the happiest I
have ever seen him.  I don't like it, I'd rather have him right here with
me but it's what he wants."

	"I get it, but it sucks, it was nice having him here with us." I
tell him.

	(Kaiden's POV)

	I have no freaking idea what to wear to this.  I have my shirt off
digging into my bag trying to find something when the door opens and Grey
walks in.  I hear him stop in his tracks and a sharp intake of breath.

	"How bad is it?" I ask not wanting to turn around.

	"They look like they hurt really badly." He says placing a hand on
my back.

	I shiver at his touch.  "You should go shower I really need to get
ready." I tell him.

	"Just wear anything man, it's just you, me and my dad that's it."

	I sigh, he makes it sound like I make anything look good...news
flash not really, not me anyway!  I watch him as he strips his shirt off
and goes into the bathroom.  I start to feel the butterflies swimming in my
stomach again.  Just like the first time I met him.  Damn it Kaiden you
can't do this to yourself! I mentally tell myself.

	I finally settled on some loose shorts and a blue polo shirt.  I
throw on my black vans and decide to sit on the bed and wait for Grey to
finish his shower.  I reach for my phone and big surprise no one has texted
me.  It's been months since I heard from Tyler or anyone of my friends a
lot of that was my fault.

	Grey emerges from the bathroom his hair plastered to his face, and
he looks so adorable.  I want to pull him into me, but I just look back
down at my phone.  I am just glad he put on most of his clothes in the
bathroom, because I don't think I could have handled seeing him naked.

	"Hey Janet wants us to come over for dinner sometime this week." He
says as he puts on his socks.

	"Don't you mean you?" I ask confused.

	"No dork she wants to see you man it's been so long!"

	"Well she knows we aren't like a couple right?" I say.

	I see a hurt look flash across his face, "yeah totally man."

	He puts on his shoes, and I look at him.  He is wearing these
stupid lounging sweat pants, and a tank top.  I want to tear my eyes away
from him, but those sweat pants don't leave anything to the imagination.  I
follow him downstairs and he tells me the car is here.

	I walk out with him, and get in the back seat.  "So you excited?"
he asks.

	I shrug, "It's a job Grey."

	I can see that I kind of killed his enthusiasm, "yeah I guess
you're right." He tells me looking down at his phone.

	"Anything interesting happening on there?" I ask trying to kill the
awkward silence.

	He shrugs, "Not really just retweeting some of the fans, and
following a few people.  You should get a twitter account."

	I laugh, "Have you seen my phone lately?" I tell him and toss him
my busted up phone.

	"What is this thing?" he says looking at it.

	"A prepaid phone, my last one was shattered." I tell him taking the
phone back.

	(Grey's POV)

	I hate how he isn't the person I fell in love with, I mean all that
outright happiness is gone from him.  He doesn't have that smile, and it
kills me.  "I think you should get checked out." I tell him.

	"What do you mean?" he shoots at me.

	"You could have a broken rib, or something fractured Kaiden."

	"I am fine, look I am not rich Grey I just can't up and go to the
doctors or have one come to me." He snaps.

	"Look I know you went through hell, but stop fucking attacking me
about it!  I brought you out here to help you.  You aren't some fucking
charity case ok.  I love you, yes I know I fucked that up so many times and
I don't deserve to be with you, and I am ok with that as long as I can be
there for you now!  Life sucks, but it gets better.  Stop looking down on
everything. You have all you ever need at the tips of your fingers!  I will
not let you fall Kaiden, I know I have in the past but that's then and this
is now!"

	He goes to open his mouth and closes it and opens it again, "I'm
sorry. I am just scared Grey, I don't want to be hurt anymore.  I know you
just want to help me, and I am sorry I am being a douche bag.  It's just
what if you aren't there to catch me?  What if this ends badly?  What if
the media finds out I'm gay that's going to hurt your reputation.  What if
they find out about my parents?"

	I move over and grab his hand, "I won't let you fall.  It won't end
badly, and I don't care if they find out your gay as long as you're ok I
don't give a damn what people think!  Your parents shouldn't even be a
factor in this."

	The car stops and the door opens and Nick sticks his head through,
"Come on guys we got security set up."

	"Security?" Kaiden asks.

	"Yeah it's a very public building." I tell him smiling.

	We exit the car, and we are hit with the loud cheering from fans.
"How did they know you would be here?" Kaiden asks looking at me.

	I hold up my phone, "I may have tweeted it."

	He cracks a smile, "Why?"

	"I pay for a lot of security and it's fun to see Nick get super
serious." I say smiling back.

	"OMG who are you, your cute!" a fan screams at Kaiden.

	"Are you a new artist on Grey's Label?" another asks.

	Kaiden looks at me with a confused look on his face, "No he's not a
new artist, but this is my best friend and you will see a lot more of him!
He's going on tour with me!" I tell the fan and she starts to smile.

	We head inside and the door closes cutting off the noise from the
outside, there are a lot of people walking around they all say hello to
me. "You're pretty popular huh?"

	"I guess eh." I smile.

	We make our way to the elevator and Tessa slides in with us,
"Morning boys." She says hugging each one of us.

	"What's up hot mama?" I say smiling.

	She slaps the back of my head, "Grey I will injury you!" She says.

	I laugh, and look at Kaiden who is smiling, "How is the baby?"

	"Getting big, you will have to come over for dinner soon before the
tour starts!"

	"What are you doing here exactly?" I ask.

	"I work here, and I was asked to come sit in by Neil." She says.

	I just look at her.  "Okay, well I don't know why."

	"So Kaiden how do you like California?"

	I watch as he avoids eye contact with her, "I guess it's pretty
good so far."

	"It grows on you trust me!" She says placing a hand on his shoulder
and I watch him cringe under her touch.

	The elevator opens, and we walk down the hallway.  There are
multiple platinum records hanging on the wall from different artists I have
signed, including my brothers first platinum single.  I see Kaiden looking
up at all these records.  "These are pretty cool." He says.

	"Yeah I mean I am really happy it's all going so well for me.  I
have a recording booth here for the artists, that way if they don't feel
like renting out a studio they can use ours."

	"Do a lot of them use it?"

	"Yeah actually, a few do." I tell him.

	We make our way to the conference room, and I see my dad with our
lawyer.  "Kaiden!" My dad shouts and gets up and hugs him.

	"Mr. Holden." Kaiden says returning the hug.

	"Okay let's get this all out of the way and then we will go to
lunch!  I have our lawyer here for you Kaiden, he is available if you have
any questions.  I want to be up front and honest, no side deals no secrets
or anything.  I would never do that to someone who is practically family."
My dad says putting the stack of papers in front of Kaiden.

	"Okay, this here is the non disclosure agreement, it's the same one
as Ms. Anna had you sign, but now it also includes Cameron and Haiden
Drake."

	Kaiden, looks to Mr. Dean our lawyer, "I have read it over
Mr. Barnes, it says that you agree not to sell information, or give
information to the media without approval.  If you do it will result in the
loss of your job."

	Kaiden signs it and my dad flips to the next page, "This is the
pay, I suggest you look at the pay and if you need more let me know."

	I see Kaiden's eyes go wide, "But sir this is too much."

	"No it's not." Tessa chimes in.

	He looks up at me, and I just shrug my shoulders, "We pay the
people that work for us well."

	"Mr. Holden, what is my job?"

	"That is the next page."  My dad says flipping the page.

	Tessa sits up, "When you sign this page you are now Grey's media
representative, meaning you will be overseeing every social media of his.
Plus since this is his last tour we are going to be releasing a live Album
with a DVD that will come with it.  So you will have a top of the line
video recorder to shoot the off days and the behind the scenes, like when
he is warming up to the typical distraction that Grey is, but don't worry
you will have days off as well.  We have a new IPhone 6s pre-released for
you already programmed and set up with his twitter and Instagram.  Sorry
Grey if you try and tweet your location again Kaiden has to approve it
first!"

	"What!  I got a kick out of Nick scrambling earlier!"

	"We will talk about that later!" My dad says.

	I look at Kaiden, and he looks back at me.  "If you sign them man
it means that every day you'll be around me, but hey who wouldn't want
that! Right?"

	"Me!" Tessa says.

	"You love me!" I shoot back.

	I watch Kaiden look at my dad, then at our lawyer, and then he
signs the contract.
