			     Ch11 Adjustments

     As soon as school was over Ben and Kyle were picked up by Peg and
driven to the hospital.  When they got to Justin's room Kim was there
sitting in the room.  She told them what had happened and what Justin had
been told and how he had reacted.

 "Do you think he will let us stay when he awakens."

" I'm sure he has been through enough physical and mental trauma in the
last three days to drive many people over the brink of sanity.  My advice
to you is even if he tries to make you leave stay; he needs the two of you
very much now.  I have to go back to the office and work on this case.
Justin was so mad at what the surgeon told him that he admitted that his
father did this to him.  I'm preparing a report for the District Attorney's
office that should go far in seeing to it that Justin is keep safely away
from his father and it's possible the his father may even have to serve
some jail time.  Just remember Justin will need you more now than ever
before."

      After Kim left Ben and Kyle discussed how they would handle Justin if
he didn't want them there.  Justin was still sleeping so the boys played a
video game on Kyle's gameboy that his mom had brought for Justin to use
while in the hospital.  Around five pm Justin began to wake up.  He slowly
opened his eyes and looked around the room.

"Oh hi guys have you been here long I guess I fell asleep."

"Mom picked us up at school and brought us here."

      Just then a strange look passed across Justin's face as he remembered
all that had happened that morning.  The smile left his face and his eyes
turned down and he lay back down and turned his back to his friends.  Kyle
and Ben looked at each and nodded, then they walked over to Justin's bed
and put their hands on Justin's back and head.

Then Kyle said, "Kim was here when we got here and she told us everything
that happened this morning.  We want you to know that none of that matters
to us.  I'm still your best friend and Ben is still your boyfriend who
loves you just the same as he did yesterday."

     "Don't you get it, my dad has turned me into some kind of a freak.  I
only have one ball left and they aren't certain if it will work at all.  I
had only started into puberty, which was already late compared with all of
my friends, but now they tell me that I will have to wait another year
before they can even tell if my remaining testicle is going to function.
If it doesn't than the only way I can go through puberty and become a man
is to take hormone shots for the rest of my life.  Now if I'm not a freak,
than I sure don't know what one is then.  Ben I'm sure you don't want to
have a boyfriend that has a dick of a prepubescence boy especially one that

Hell if I was ever going to change how I felt about you it would have been
when you told me you are gay.  But you know that I haven't changed at all,
so we don't want to hear anymore of that talk about you being a freak."

      Justin sat there with tears running down his face, he looked at his
boyfriend and his best friend and realized that nothing had changed between
them and himself.  You guys really are the greatest.  The Dr. told me in
six or so months they can put a artificial ball so I will at least look
normal.  All of sudden Ben began to giggle.  "What are you giggling about?"
asked Justin.

"I just realized that if we ever have sex and you are sterile than we won't
have to worry about me getting pregnant.  I'm sure that my parents will be
relieved that I won't get pregnant." giggled Ben.

      Justin and Kyle began to giggle also and soon they were laughing out
loud, a nurse passing in the hall opened the door and asked if everything
was ok.  Ben looked at her and said with a straight face "no pregnancies
here."

The nurse looked at the three boys who were laughing their heads off and
said, "teenagers who can understand them.  Just don't make Justin laugh too
hard he does have three broken ribs you know."

The boys nodded that they understood.


"If you shouldn't go through puberty you won't ever have to shave and from
my dad says most men hate having to shave every day so that they don't look
scruffy.  Your voice is great and you won't have to worry about it cracking
like mine is starting to do.  Yesterday I was talking with some girls and
right in the middle of a sentence my voice cracked and I was really
embarrassed." said Kyle.

      Just then there was a knock on the door.  Kyle went to see who it
was, he came back in a few seconds and said, "it Ricky and Tony from the
team do you want to see them?"

"Yea everybody is going to know soon enough and they have always been good
guys." said Justin.

Ricky and Tony came in and both hugged Justin and shook hands with Ben and
Kyle.  Justin told them the whole story about what had happened, including
the fact he might not go through puberty.  "Everyone else has pubes and I
look like a baby," sniffled Justin.

Ricky glanced to Tony who nodded, "we don't" said Ricky.

     "Yes you do, I saw them after practice the other day in the showers,"
said Ben.  Who immediately blushed bright red.

Ricky had been watching, Ben and Justin for a while and was convinced that
they were just like him and Tony.  He called Tony to the side and had a
quick conference. Then came back to Justin's bed, Ricky grabbed Tony in his
arms and kissed him full on the lips with a lot of tongue.  Then he turned
to Ben and said, "I think you and Justin are like us and we just wanted to
let you know it was great."

     Not one sound could be heard in the room for about 45 seconds.  Ricky
and Tony began to think they had made a big mistake until, Kyle joked, "god
am I going to have to go Bi just to stay on the team what with all my
friends being gay."


    Everyone began to laugh and Justin and Ben gave high fives to Ricky and
Tony.  Ricky is a slender boy five feet three inches tall with brown hair
and the cutest smile anyone ever saw his eyes were brown, and Tony stood
one inch taller with brown eyes also and long lashes and ruby kissable
lips.  The two boy stood there holding hands.  Then Ricky said, "we hated
our pubes because the hair was always getting in our mouths.  Giggle,
giggle, so we shaved it all off.  Kyle guard the door for a second ok,"
said Ricky.

    Kyle walked over to the door and stood with his back to it.  Then Ricky
and Tony pulled open their pants and dropped them showing their naked

"Why don't you have underwear on,"asked Justin.

"Both of our families are nudists, that is why we don't have tan lines so

"How long have you and Ben been boyfriends?" asked Tony.

"A few weeks, but we fell for each other the first time I came to school
two months ago and Justin was my school guide." answered Ben.

"We need to get going," said Ricky as he gave both Justin and Ben a kiss on
the cheek and hugged Kyle.

"What no kiss for the straight boy?" Kyle teased.  Ricky turned around and
locked lips with Kyle driving his tongue all the way down his throat.  Kyle
never knew what hit him, but just let go and kissed back.  By the time
Ricky broke the kiss Kyle was as hard as he had ever been.  Ricky looked
down and grabbed Kyle's dick and gave that bad boy a few quick strokes
through his pants.  Kyle let out a groan and then blushed bright red as a

After cleaning up they walked out into the room.  Justin, Ben and Tony all
smiled and laughed.

Justin looked at Kyle and noticed a small drop of white thick liquid on his
cheek, Okay thought Justin I never thought I would see that.

"Kyle come here." said Justin as he used his finger to wipe Kyle's cheek.

"Did everything cum out ok." giggled Justin?

"Ok, I admit it I must be Bi that is the first time I have ever sucked

Ricky and Tony left to go home for supper, after promising not to say

     Justin was finally smiling after Ricky and Tony left.  The three boy
begin to think of advantages that Justin would have if he didn't go through
puberty.

"I suppose that if I don't I just will always look like my super hot dude
self that I'm right now.  Boy will you guys be jealous when you get to be
middle aged and get pot bellies and began to lose your hair and I will
still look like a hot teenager."  laughed Justin.

     Kyle and Ben each gave Justin a friendly punch in his arms.  The three
friends spent the time until Kyle went home at nine p.m. talking, playing
each other on the gameboy and watching MTV.  At nine Don came and to pick
up Kyle.  He spent more then a half hour talking and reassuring Justin that
he was wanted and would always have a place to live with them.

"I know you have been through a lot in the last few days but try not to
worry about what might happen.  No one knows what is going to happen for
sure.  Whatever does take place we will be there to help and support you
through it."

While Don was talking with Justin Kyle pulled Ben aside and whispered, "I'm
going home and shave off my pubes and until Justin gets some I am not
having any.  Do you want to join me.  And since Ricky and Tony shaved maybe
we can get the rest of the team to do it too."

"Ok, I'll do it and try to get the others too.  Why don't you call Ricky
and Tony and tell them about your idea."
            * * * * On the way home Kyle spoke to his dad, "dad Justin
doesn't have any pubes and may not get any for a long time Ben and I are
going to shave ours off and keep them off until he gets some.  So I was
wondering if you knew how to do that."

"Well, I happen to know how, you see when I was in my twenties I was
overseas before I met your mom and I got what is called crabs.  I was
stupid and had sex with a whore on a bet by my buddies.  I had to shave all
my pubes off, when it started to grow back in it itches so I shaved again
and have ever since.  Your mom likes it that way too.  So when we get home
I will teach you if you want."

Kyle leaned across the seat and hugged Don, "I am so glad you are my dad, I

When they got home Don explained to Peg what Kyle and Ben were going to do.
"I guess we must be doing something right to have a son who loves his
friend that much."said Peg

Kyle and Don went into the bathroom, "I need a shower should I do that
first or last" asked Kyle?

"Ok lets do it this way I will use the clippers first than we will both
take a shower and then I will show you how I shave, ok." said Don.  They
both got undressed it was the first time Kyle had ever seen his dad naked.

he did his own self.  He showed Kyle how to check for stubble and get that
smooth finish.  Once they were finished father and son stood side by side
and looked into the mirror that ran from the sink top up the wall.

Don put his arm over Kyle's shoulder and Kyle put his arm around his dad's
waist,

"you are right I do look bigger dad and we both look so hot this way.  I
may just do like you and keep them shaved.  Dad I found out something out
about myself today.  I'm not straight I'm bi."

Kyle explained what had happened with Ricky.

"How do you fell about that Kyle?" asked Don.

"It was fun and not scary like with Jamie.  I enjoyed it and with the right
boy will do it again.  I hope that is ok with you and mom."

"You know better than even ask, but of course it is fine.  In fact in my
own opinion I think it is a lot better for boys to have sex with other boys
then boy-girl sex and maybe a baby resulting."

        After Don and Kyle left Justin felt much better and then Ben and
Justin sat and held hands and watched TV.  After the night shift nurse had
come in and checked Justin's vital signs Ben helped Justin get ready for
bed.  Ben turned the lights off and started to lay down on the cot.  But,
Justin asked Ben to sleep in the bed with him tonight and hold him.

 Ben asked Justin, "are you sure it will be ok, the nurse's might get upset
and it might give it away that we are boyfriends?"

"Please, today has been the worst in my life and I really need you to hold
me tonight."

 Ben looked at Justin and then climbed into the bed behind him and wrapped
his arms around Justin.  He kissed him on the back of the head and told him
that he loved him.  Two hours later the night nurse using a flashlight saw
the two boys in the bed and she smiled thinking that it was good that
Justin had such good friends.

 The next morning the nurses awaken the boys at six.  Ben took a shower and
then went to the hospital cafeteria for breakfast.  By the time he returned
Justin was eating his breakfast.

"Ben can you get my books from my locker and get my assignments so I don't
get to far behind.  My locker combination is 5, 23, 13.  Some of my books
are at home and I will ask my mom to bring them to me today."

"Sure Justin you know I will do anything for you.  When Kyle and I come
this afternoon we can do today's homework together and then catch you up on
the classroom stuff so tomorrow you can work on catching up."

A short time later Jon came into the room and spent time with both boys.

"We better get going Ben you don't want to be late for school and I have to
get to the base."  Jon left the room so the boys could say goodby.  Ben
leaned over the bed and gave Justin a kiss.  Justin held Ben and kissed him
back with deep love and passion.

"Wow we better stop that or I'm going to have a big problem to hide and you
might bust your stitches." said Ben.

Justin giggled and then said, "it was nice though wasn't it?"

"Yea it was the best, now behave yourself with those cute orderlies, I'll
see you around 3:30."

After Ben left Justin called his home, he was hoping that his mom would
answer but the General did.  "May I speak with mom please?" asked Justin.

"You little pervert do you know what you have done to me?"

"Sir you have it wrong it isn't what I have done to you it is what you did
to me that has caused all the problems.  Now please put mom on the phone."

"How dare you speak to me like that I'll"

"Wrong you are all done hurting me and if you know what is good for you,
you will get off this phone and have mom talk to me."

"Penny your evil faggot spawn is on the phone and wants to talk to you."
bellowed the General.

"Good morning Justin how are you feeling?"

     "I'm still in some pain but I feel like myself this morning.  Could
you bring my book bag so I can work on homework starting tomorrow.  I saw
the doctor and he said that I will have to be here for at least until next
week. I can't go home until the swelling is gone down and I can pee without
a catheter.  I know it's a lot to ask but I was wondering if you could go
by the computer store and buy me a used notebook computer with windows on
it so I can use it to do my home work.  It will have to have a modem so I
can go on line when I need to.  Do you think that might be possible mom?"

"Are your friends coming to the hospital after school?" asked Penny

"Yes they will be here around 3:30 p.m."

"Do you think that one of them could go to the computer store with me to
get the computer?"

"Yes, Kyle knows a lot about computers and he is spending the night tonight
so I'm sure he would go with you."

"Good then I will come and see you after lunch is there anything else that
I can bring you?"

"Could you bring me some clean underwear and some shorts and T-shirts.  The
nurse said that I have to start to walk today so I don't get too weak.  I
have some from what you sent with Peg Kyle's mom, but I have already worn
them and need clean ones."

"Ok I'll see you in a couple of hours."

     Justin took a sponge bath and then with the help of a nurse tried to
walk for the first time in days.  As he stood up his head began to spin,
the nurse made him put his head between his knees until the lightheadedness
went away.  His first try at walking he only made it as far as a chair.  He
sat in the chair while his bed was changed.  Then with legs that felt like
they were made of rubber he made his way back to the bed.

     A few minutes later his door opened and Kim Preston stuck her head
into the room and asked, "are you up to talking for a little while?"

"Sure come on in."

     "Justin I have talked with both of your friends and they told a very
different story than you did on how you got hurt.  Also the Dr. who first
examined you found grass clippings in your hair and some of your hair had
been pulled out by the roots.  And you may not know it but you had grass
stains on your body showing that you had been dragged across a lawn naked
which agrees with the story that you told your friends.  I don't know why
you are trying to protect your dad but we have enough evidence even if you
stick to your made up story.  Do you realize that on the night you had
surgery your dad lied to your mom and never let her know you were being
taken into surgery.  That man doesn't deserve your trying to cover up what
he did to you.  Please tell me the truth so that we can make sure that
justice is done."

"What will happen to the General if he is found guilty?"

"I can't be sure but most likely he would have to serve some jail time and
be put on probation and required to go through abuse counseling.  Since
both of your parents have agreed for you to live with Kyle's family for now
than you should be safe."

"What about the Army will he loose any of his benefits?"

"I really don't know, but if you want I can call Captain Palmer and see
what he has to say."

"Ok please call."

Kim called Captain Palmer's office and was put through to him.  "Captain
Palmer this is Kim Preston and I'm with Justin Blake, I have been trying to
get him to tell me the truth.  He would like to know what is likely to
happen to the General if he is found guilty as far as the Army is
concerned."

"I can't say for sure, but since he has already resigned his commission it
will take at least ten to fifteen days for him to process out.  However
because General Sanders accepted his resignation, so as far as the Army is
concerned what happened to Justin is now a civilian affair and any
punishment for his abuse of Justin will have to come from those
authorities.  Thanks Captain Palmer I'm sure that is what Justin wanted to
know.  Kim told Justin everything that Captain Palmer had said.  "Listen
Justin I really would like you to tell me exactly what happened the morning
you were hurt."

Justin lay in the bed for a few minutes then said, "Ok I will tell you the
truth."  For the next two hours Justin told Kim everything that his father
had done to him.

Kim had recorded Justin's statement and was just finishing up when Penny
arrived.  When she came into the room Justin's face turned white, but Kim
told him it would be alright.  "Mrs Blake, Justin has just spent the last
two hours telling me the truth about what happened the other day and all
the other times.  I would like you to give me a statement verifying what he
told me.  Would it be possible for you to come to my office tomorrow
morning to review the tape and give me you statement."

Penny looked at her son and then said, "what time do you want me there."

"Would ten a.m. be convenient for you."


"Yes I will be there."

Kim left the room and Justin and Penny both seemed to be staring off into
space.  Finally Justin asked, "mom what is going to happen to our family?"
She sat in the chair shaking her head back and forth for several minutes
before she answered.

"The only thing I know for sure is that it will never be the same and no
matter what it takes I will never let your dad hurt you again."

    "Mom you know what's weird, is that I still love dad, I didn't kill
Jeff but most of the time I wish it had been me instead.  All I have ever
wanted is for you and dad to love me like you loved Jeff.  Why didn't you
even before he was killed.  Why wasn't I good enough to be loved?"

Penny sat in the chair eyes moist with tears and a tearing pain deep in her
heart, and in her consciousness.  How do you tell your child that he hadn't
been planed or wanted and was thought of as a burden that must be born
rather than a blessing the a child should be.

"Justin there just isn't any answer that I can give you that will make you
feel better.  I can only express my deep regret that I have had a wonderful
son for the last fourteen years that I never bothered to know or love.  I
only hope it isn't too late for me to try to me a mom to you?"

"Mom it is never too late to do the right thing.  But as much as I would
love for you and dad to love me like Kyle's and Ben's parents do I don't
think we will ever be that close.  But I want you to know how happy it
makes me to see you trying."

"I'm not going to tell your father that we are giving the Child Protective
Services the truth about his abuse of you until Friday when we meet with
Bill for our first session."

     Penney looked at her watch and seeing that is was only 1:30 she
decided that she would go and run errands for the next two hours until
Jason's friends got there after school. She was too uncomfortable with
Justin to spend much time with him.  She knew full well that she shared
some of the responsibility for not doing anything to stop her husband from
assaulting their son.  Even though she now was taking steps to protect
Justin, sometime better late than never just didn't apply.  She understood
even if Justin didn't that he would never live in her home again at least
until he was grown and able to protect himself.

"I'm going to run some errands, but I will be back to take Kyle to pick out
a laptop computer for you."
