                           Chapter 4
                         Jamie's Story

  Don, picked up Justin and carried him down to the lake where he bathed
his face with water until he revived.

"Justin, if you don't tell me, I will make Kyle tell me your secret."

 Justin simple sat on the beach and shook his head back and forth.

      "Sir, last weekend when I was over there after Kyle left, the General
came home, and I had put my bike in the driveway because I had already
called my dad to come and pick me up.  Justin was in the bathroom when I
did it and never knew it was in the driveway.  The General got home a few
minutes before my dad got there and when Justin saw my bike he ran to move
it and fell down in the driveway and cut his knee.  It was bleeding, but he
jumped up and pulled it out of the way.  When the General came out of the
garage he slapped Justin across the face so hard his head bobbed around
like a pom-pom on a car antenna. He was going to hit him again so I stepped
up and introduced myself.  He was calling Justin real bad names.  Then my
dad got there and wanted to help the General tend to Justin's knee, but he
said Justin needed to learn to deal with pain.  My dad saw the mark on
Justin's face, and he heard him call Justin bad names.  My dad made up a
story to get the General to led Justin spend the night.  Then he made
another story up the next night so Justin could spend another night.  My
dad was hoping that the General would have calmed down by Monday night.  So
both of my parents know and they just want to help also."said Ben

     "Justin has the General been abusing you: because if he has I have to
report him to the Provost-Marshal office."

"No, I just broke a rule and he had a bad day and he slapped my face that
is all there to it."

" I want you to know something else, Justin, it is a violation of the
military code of ethics to abuse your family.  If it happens again I want
you to tell us right away."said Don.

       "Now we really do need to get back to the campsite" Don said.

.  When they arrived back at the site Peg said, "I was getting really
worried if you hadn't shown up soon I was going looking for you.  What took
you so long anyway."

"After the girls are asleep we need to talk." said Don

"This sounds very important, what is it all about."

"Not now, Peg please."

"Alright, but I'm going to put the girls to bed now so that we can talk."
"Don can you make sure those boys all take showers tonight so their tent
doesn't stink in the morning."

     "Boys, mom wants you all take showers tonight, so grab your stuff and
we'll go to the shower room because I need one also.  And don't forget to
bring clean underwear and a T-shirt with you."

 "Ok, dad give us a minute."  The three boys went into their tent and began
to rummage through their gym bags for clean boxers.

"Damn, do either of you have a spare pair of clean boxers I can borrow,"
asked Ben?

"I don't have any either,"said Kyle.

"I know what happened, my mom always gathers up our dirty laundry on
Saturday night and takes it to the Laundromat to wash while she take the
girls to church.  When we go camping Dad and I don't usually go to church
so we can spend a little time together."

"I guess we could wear those bikini briefs that we got this morning," said
Ben.

"Sure, why not we just need long T-shirts to cover up with.  My mom always
packs several extra for my dad I'm sure he will let us borrow each one.
Wait a minute I go and find out."

Kyle returned in a few minutes with three of his father's T-shirts.

Justin grabbed one and tried it on and said, "these are long enough so that
we wouldn't need to wear underwear, no one would be able to tell, it hangs
below my knees."

The other boys giggled at the thought of running around with nothing on but
a T-shirt.  "I dare you dude's to do it," said Kyle.

"Your dad will notice when we get dressed if we don't put on underwear,"
said Justin.





"Ok we wear the new briefs back to the tent and when we put our shower
stuff away we remove the underwear also.  Are you guys up to the dare",
asked Kyle?

The three boys nodded and gave each other high fives, picked up their
shower bags and headed to the shower building still wearing only their
bathing suits, and sandals. They met Don outside and walked to the shower
building.  When they got there all of the individual showers were in use
and most had at least two of three males waiting to use them.

"Damn it, I don't want to wait all night to take a shower," said Don.

Kyle said, "I wonder if we could use the group shower room."

"It is usually locked, but if it isn't would you boy ok with showering with
me in the same room," asked Don?  The boys all shook their heads to
indicate that it wouldn't be a problem.

"Ok lets me check and see."

      The door was unlocked and the four of them went inside.  There was a
small drying room and than a large shower room like at school.  Don locked
the door behind them, and said "I don't want some strange man coming in and
seeing you guys, we are all friends and so its not a problem.  But, I'm
sure that you would be uncomfortable if some stranger walked and started to
shower with us."

     All three of the boys nodded in agreement.  All four undressed and
headed into the shower.  Justin was a little worried about getting a woody
in front of the others especially after what had happened with Ben's dad.
But, this day nothing happened he did look at Kyle's dad and this time he
had no reaction.  After showering the four went into the dressing room and
dried off.  As the boys stepped into their new bikini briefs

Don look at the three of them and said "those are new aren't they."

All three boys nodded.  "Well I must say that you guys look as hot in those
as in your bathing suits.  But, now I see why you wanted to borrow my
T-shirts." said Don.  The boys didn't need to shave so they headed back to
the campsite without Don.

     After stowing their shower bags and underwear in their tent the boys
came out and asked Kyle's mom, "can we build a fire for tonight."

 "Only a small one, it is already 9:30 and I want you boys in bed no later
than midnight.  Dad is going to tell me what happened on your walk as soon
as he gets back, is there anything I can do for you boys right now."  The
boys all shook their heads.

      Don returned and he and Peg sat at the picnic table.  The boys
gathered wood and started the camp fire.  There were two logs about five
feet from the fire ring which could either be sat on or leaned against.
Kyle had brought the extra sleeping out of the tent and draped it over the
log and extended out towards the fire.  The three boys sat down on the
sleeping bag and leaned back against the log watching the fire.

     After a few minutes Justin asked, "I'm getting a soda, do either of
you want one."  Both boys nodded yes.  Justin walked to the dining fly and
opened the large soda cooler grabbed three cokes and headed back to the
fire.  As he got right by the fire he began to giggle.  He handed each of
his friends a soda and then sat down between them.

       He continued to giggle until Ben asked, "what are you being such a
nut case about?"  Justin glanced at his two friends and started giggling
again.  Ben and Kyle had, had enough so they both attacked Justin and began
to tickle him.

"You better tell us; because we aren't going to stop until do," said Ben.

"I surrender, when I came back with the sodas you were both sitting with
your knees drawn up to your chest and spread apart."

"So, that is how we always sit, why should that make you giggle," said
Kyle.

"I know but we all forgot we are sitting here bare ass naked under these
T-shirts and the way we were sitting the firelight allowed me to see
everything you both have and I must say the heat of the fire had both of
you hanging as loose as a goose."  At that exclamation all of boys
collapsed into a fit of giggles, making sure that the T-shirts were pulled
all the way down.

"Do you think anyone saw us," Ben giggled.

"I think some girls did, I saw a bunch of girls maybe about 16 or 17 years
old walking on the road.  When they walked under the street light over
there I saw them.  They stopped on the road just after our campsite and I
heard them laughing.  At the time I didn't think anything of it, but now I
wonder if they were laughing because they saw all we have to offer," said
Justin.  The three boys finally stopped laughing, and settled down and
began to tell ghost stories.

       Don sat down at the picnic table and said, " Peg this is going to
take a while, I would like you to hear me completely out before you say
anything/"

"Don, just tell me."

     "Today when the boys went for a canoe ride with the girls they met,
they rowed to that island.  The girls had picked which boy they wanted to
be with.  As soon as they landed Kyle and Susan took off to the other side
of the island.  All they did is hold hands and have two quick kisses.
Unfortunately the same didn't happen with Justin and Ben.  Tiffany paired
up with Justin and sat in his lap grinding herself into his groin and then

them.  Well Justin really freaked out and it took a lot to find out what
was wrong.  It turns out that Phil has quite a temper and ever since Jeff's
death he has been very hard on Justin.  I told him all about the
Provost-Marshall, and the CID.  I think he believed me.
       Now is the hardest part of all to tell you.  Last Sunday after we
went shopping Jamie invited Kyle in for a cold drink after they finished
his car.  When they got inside no one else was home and Jamie grabbed a
six-pack of beer and then went into his bedroom Kyle knew he shouldn't
drink the beer, but you know he has always had a hero worship for Jamie, so
he drank it.  Then Jamie offered to show him a porno tape, Kyle was curious

spent with Jamie's family and how he took advantage of Kyle worship of him.

"Kyle mentioned two different things that cause me to believe that Jamie

"It's not what I want to do, but the last thing I would ever do is make the
situation worse."

     Peg walked over to the fire and said, Dad told me everything that went
on and I just want you to know I love all of you and will do anything to
make sure you boys are ok.  Ben, I've met your mom a few times and I am
sure your parents will be totally supportive of you.  Kyle, sob, It's ok,
you didn't do anything wrong, and you don't have anything to be ashamed of.
I have just one question, do you know for sure where Jamie had the tape
hidden in his close?."

"Yea, it was at the bottom of his box with all of his baseball cards, why
do you want to know?"

"Tomorrow your father and I are going to talk with Jamie's parents, at
first I know that they won't believe what you told us.  So I want to be
able to tell them where the tape is and if it is in his closet then they
will have to believe us.  Now does anyone here want a hug, because I sure
want to hug each of you."  Kyle ran into his mothers arms and cried for
several minutes.  Then he sat back down.  She looked at Justin and he
hesitated for a moment, and he to flung himself into Pegs arms and cried
for a long time.  When he had sat back down, Ben stood up and was soon

thank-you I'm going to be ok.

"We usually don't head home until late afternoon, but because of what has
happened after breakfast we are going to pack up and go home to deal with
all this.  Now is there anything that Don or I can do for any of you
tonight?"  The three boys shook their heads no.

"Alright. dad and I are going to bed now, please don't stay up much longer,
we need to get an early start tomorrow morning."

Ben stood up and said, "I'm kind of tired also, I think I will go to bed,
you don't have to come to bed if you don't want to."

Justin stood up and said, "No way dude, aren't we the 3M boys."  Ben and
Kyle looked at Justin with bewildered looks on their faces.

"What exactly are the 3M boys?" asked Kyle.

"It's us, you know the three Musketeers.  While after what we have gone
through in the last week I feel like we have somehow been permanently
bonded for life, so I think we are the 3M boys."

Ben looked at his new friends and said, "I know just what you mean and I
love the name the 3M boys."

"Right on bro's," Kyle said as he gave his two friends high fives.

"I sure hope it cools down soon, I'm sweating my balls off with dad's
T-shirt on."

"If they start to break loose give a yell and I'll try to catch them," Ben
giggled.

"Oh man you are bad dude," Justin said, as all three boys cracked up.

"Come on let's put out the fire and go to the tent where we can get out of
these hot T-shirts, said Justin.

The boys put out the fire, brushed their teeth, and went to the bathroom
before heading back to their tent.  Once they got into the tent they found
it was even hotter than outside.  They opened all of the tent windows after
they had put out the lantern.
 "I don't want you guys to think I'm trying to be weird or anything, but it
is just too warm to and humid to wear clothes tonight."

"But, what if some shines a flashlight into the tent like your dad and sees
all three of us sleeping together in the nude," asked Justin?

"It's not like we are having an orgy in here," giggled Kyle, and even if we
were he would be cool with it, you remember what I told you he said about

"It might be cool to sleep in the nude, I've never done that before, said
Ben.

The three boys pull off the over size t-shirts and then lay down side by
side on top of the bottom sleeping bag.

After a few minutes Ben said, "Justin we need to have a way for you to let
us know if your father hurts you again.  Why don't we think of a special
word that if you call with that word or e-mail the word we would know to
tell our parents so that you could be helped." Ben said.

"What kind of a word do you mean?" asked Justin.

"Something that would sound like a school thing that way if anyone else saw
or heard it they wouldn't know what it really meant." answered Ben

"What about Mayflower, you know the ship the Pilgrims came to America on?"
Kyle suggested.

'That sounds great, no one would ever guess." Justin answered.

      The three boys grew quiet after that as they lay there thinking their
thoughts.  After a few minutes Kyle whispered, " do you guys want to do it
again tonight?"

What if someone looks in?" whispered Justin "Look everyone is in bed and
with us laying on the floor of the tent they would have to walk right up to
the window with a flashlight to see anything."said Kyle

      "It's ok I should have told you before, but it's hard to talk about

then me.  My parents didn't have Jeff until they were both in their late

Jeff had just come home from his job at Burger King where he worked, and
when he heard what mom said he offered to come and pick me up.  She said it
was my fault that I didn't have a ride so I should walk home to learn a
lesson.  Jeff got mad and yelled into the phone "I be there in fifteen
minutes don't worry Buddy I'm on my way.  Just before the field there is a
stop light, Jeff stopped and when the light turned green he started to
cross the inter section and a drunken bastard driving a semi ran the red
light and killed my brother."

With that last statement Justin began to cry loudly.  His friends hugged
him and he finally was able to continue with his story.

"My parents blamed me for his death and from that point on my dad started
hitting me and my mom treated even worse than before."

Ben took Justin's hand and told him, " I am so sorry Justin, but I want you
to know that I love you and my parents think of you as if you are their son
also."

"Dude that goes for me and my parents also," said Kyle.  Shortly after that
all that could heard from the tent were the soft steady breathing of the
three boys.

      At seven the next morning Peg and Don came out of their tent.  "I'll
get the coffee started if you wake the boys up, so that they can get
started breaking down their tent while we cook breakfast," said Don.

Peg walked over to the boys tent and glanced in thru the window as she
walked by the tent window.  What she saw made her chuckle and turn around
and walk back to the dinning fly, where Don was busy getting the coffee
started.  "Are the boys awake," asked Don?

"Hon, I think you better wake them up instead of me."

"Why what is the matter?"

"I guess they were just as warm as we were last night, because they sleep
in the nude and they didn't have a sheet to cover up like we did.  They
must have gotten cool during the night, because they were all cuddle and
tangled together.  I didn't want to embarrass them so I didn't wake them."

"Ok," chuckled Don, "I'll do the dirty deed."
 Don walked over to the boys tent, when he got within ten feet he called
out to Kyle, "wake up boys, time to rise and shine."  Don waited a few
minutes and with no response walked up to the tent and tried again.  With
still no response he decided to bang the tent.  He gave the tent a few good
raps, and then said, " Kyle time to get up, are you guys decent in there."

All of a sudden he heard , "Oh-my god, shit just a minute dad."  Don
chuckled at the sounds coming from the tent as the boys hurried and slipped
on shorts.  "Come on in Dad."

Don stuck his head in the tent door and with a smirk said, "what took so
long?"  All three boys faces turned red, "dad did you look in the tent
before you called to us?"

"Ah no, why," asked Don with a smirk on his face.

"Shit, oh sorry dad, but you did see us didn't you?"  Don smiled and
nodded, "it's ok, but what happened to those briefs you had on after your
shower last night?"

"Before we went to the shower Justin tried on one of your T-shirts and we
saw that they hung down below his knees.  Since no one could tell if we had
anything on we dared each other to go with underwear.  When we came back
from our shower we slipped them off when we put our shower stuff away.
Then when we went to sleep it was so hot that we took off the T-shirts and
didn't bother with putting the briefs back on."

"Mom and I want to get home early so Kyle show the boys how to pack the
tent.  By the time you have your stuff loaded in the car mom will have
breakfast ready.  After you eat, I'll help you tear down the big tent,
while mom packs up the dinning stuff."

     When they arrived at Ben's home Don took Jon aside and told him what
had happened at the lake so they would be informed enough to be able to
deal with Ben.  Then they drove to Justin's house, as Don was unloading
Justin's things the General came out of the house and asked if Justin had
behaved on the camping trip.

"Phil he is the best behaved child that I know, Kyle is a great kid but he
messes up sometimes and his friends all have at one time or another, but
not Justin he always perfectly," said Don.

He then reached and wrapped Justin in a bear hug and said thank-you for
coming with us this weekend, you're a great kid and Peg and I love having
you over.  Phil looked at Don hugging his son and wondered how anyone could
act that way toward a looser like Justin.  Don noticed Phil watching him
hug Justin and saw the look of disgust pass across Phil's face.

After getting back in the car Don turned to Peg and said, "Justin isn't
making up what he told us, when I gave Justin a hug the look on Phil's face
verified what we were told.  He acted like as if I was hugging a piece a
garbage.  It pissed me off so much that I wanted to just punch his lights
out.  I know hon, but for now all we can do is watch out for Justin if it
happens again we will try to step in and see if he can't live with us ok,"
answered Peg.

       After unloading the Suburban and putting everything away, Peg sent
the two girls over to her sisters on the next street so they could deal
with Jamie and his parent's.  Don called Bill, Jamie's father and asked if
he and Peg could come over to talk with them.  Peg told Kyle to stay in the
house and if they called him to come over he was to go by the street and
come it the front door so that Jamie, who was washing and waxing his car in
the back yard.

    After arriving at Bill and Marie's home they were shown into the
livingroom, "this sounds serious," said Bill.

"It is very serious, and it involves our two son's.  First let me ask you
were you home last Sunday afternoon when Kyle was helping Jamie wash and
wax his car?"  "

No, we went to Marie's brother's and didn't get until around nine that
night, answered Bill.

"Do you allow Jamie to have beer at home as long as he doesn't drive after
having a beer?"

"Yes, we do but only one at a time, and as you know that is within our

missing?"

      Bill thought and then answered, "when we got home I went to get a
beer from the fridge and thought there were five missing instead of one
like there should have been, I asked Jamie if he had drank the other four
beers or if he had given to friends.  He said that I must be mistaken,
because he had drank one and Kyle had a coke when they finished with the
car.  Is that what this is all about, did Jamie give Kyle beer, because if
he did I can guarantee it will never happen in fact he will loose his car
for a month to be sure he learns his lesson."

Don repeated the story just as Kyle had told him leaving out none of the
words used of statements that Jamie had supposed to have made.

When Don told them what Jamie had done Bill had jumped up and shouted,

baseball cards, why don't we see if there is a tape there and if it is what
he said it was then we can proceed," said Peg.

Bill and Don went into Jamie's room and found his box of baseball cards in
the back of his closet.  When they reached the bottom of the box they found
a tape with the title marked Switch Hitter's marked on the front and a set

"Bill, calm down getting mad isn't going to help, I think that Jamie is a

VCR and started it, then fast forwarded to the second scene where the
second man came into the room.  The tape portrayed everything just a Kyle
had described it.  The four parents sat in stunned silence.  It was obvious
to all of them that Kyle's story was true, and the implication of what had
happened were just sinking in.

Marie finally spoke saying, "what do we do now?"

     Don being a military counselor was the only one with experience in
anything like this said, "I think we need to bring both boys in here and
see what Jamie has to say.  If he will admit what he has done, then I will
call Frank a friend of mine in the juvenile division of the police and ask
him in a hypothetical question about the situation and see what he has to
say.  If he won't admit what he did we will have no choice but to go the
police and child protective services."

"Don, I know that if the situation was reversed we would do the same thing.
I'll get Jamie if you are sure Kyle will be ok to be here with Jamie. "

until his friends convinced him that if he didn't Jamie might do it someone
else and get in a lot worse trouble," said Don.

Don called Kyle and had him come over, Bill went out to get Jamie.  Jamie
had been out back washing and waxing his car again.  Jamie and Bill were
just walking into the livingroom from the back patio, just as Kyle walked
into the room from the front foyer.  When Jamie saw Kyle and his parents
sitting in the livingroom he turned and tried to run out the patio door,

Bill grabbed him and said, "no you don't young man we are going to get to
the bottom of this right now."  Jamie turned white as his father pushed him
into the room saying, "sit there and don't move.  Jamie has told us that
last Sunday you gave him beer and forced him to let you perform oral sex on

Don said, "we are going home and I'll call Frank Peters and depending on
what he has to say I let you know what we do next.

     When Don pulled into Jon's driveway he came out to help Ben bring his
camping stuff into the house, as soon as everything was unloaded Don took
Jon aside and told him what had happened to Ben at the lake.  "

He says you are close and that he can talk with you about anything so I'm

  As he picked up Ben's sleeping bag and headed into the house he wondered

"Didn't you say that Don told Ben that he was going to tell you what

"Well I guess when he gets out of the shower you should talk with him and
find out how upset he is and what we need to do about it."

     Jon went to Ben's room and sat on his bed looking around at all the
things that made up part of who Ben was.  While he sat there he felt anger

     Jon went downstairs and told Betty all that had happened.  She began

life than I would have wanted for him.  I know that he can't help being
what he is.  It's not a choice like some try to say, no one would choose to

      After putting away his camping gear in the garage, Justin walked into

The General met him in the hall way and said, "you may have Don and Jon

was so surprised by his son's back talk that he didn't move until after

new briefs and bathing suit.  Worried that his parents might be back soon

      In the morning the General was still home when he came downstairs to

livingroom, Bill looked at Jamie and said, "I want to know exactly when

child protective services worker.  For the next hour they interviewed Kyle.

When they had been told the whole story, Kim asked, "do you have any
questions for us Kyle?"

he's sorry for what he did and I still like him I just want to know that he
won't try that again with anyone else, and I sure don't want him to go to

      "Kyle before I answer I want to give you a number to call to see a

them and they will help you to with some feelings that you are going to

as Jamie is concerned that will be determined but first a psycho-sexual

community.  If he is found not to be a danger to other boys then he will be
enrolled in a local sexual abuser/victim program.  If he is deemed to be a
danger to other boys than he will be put in a residential program, where he
will have to stay until it has been determined that he is safe to let out.
If that is the case he will be labeled as a sex offender and will have a
permanent criminal record.  But, if he gets into a local program and does
well than once his probation is over he can have his juvenile records
sealed and unless he does something very bad they will stay sealed."

"I am sure that he is not a danger to anyone," said Kyle.

"I hope you are right, but that is yet to be determined.  Is there anything
else we can do for you today Kyle?"

"Just one other question do you help boys who are being abused by their
parents?"

"Kyle if you know of a boy who is being abused please tell me so we can
help him too."

Don looked at Kyle and gave his head a little shake, Kyle saw what his
father had done so he said "no but I heard that some kid got hit by his dad
at school and I was just wondering if you help kids with that kind of thing

"If you should ever find out something like that you can call our hot line
without giving your name and we will investigate to see if there is

you and your lawyer down to Juvenile Court in a little where you will be

minor.  You will then enter a plea, which I presume will be guilty.  The
Judge should then remand you to us for a psycho-sexual evaluation. You will
be released to your parents custody and a restraining order will be issued
that prevents you for have any contact with Kyle or from coming within one
hundred feet of him.  Tomorrow I want you to stay home from school I will
arrange for that evaluation to be performed sometime during the day.  They
will give me the results immediately and then I will determine if you can
stay in the community or if you must be sent to a residential program until
you are deemed safe to be returned to your home. Now I need to ask you
several questions.  How old were you the first time Steven had sex with
